Premiere Pro CC zeigt keine Dateinamen in Timeline an.

Seit heute morgen zeigt Premiere Pro CC in der Timeline weder Dateinamen noch Vorschaubilder an. Bei sämtlichen Audiodateien sind die Dateinamen noch vorhanden.
Das Problem tritt bei allen Projekten auf. Auch wenn ich ein neues Projekt öffne. An und ausschalten der Vorschaubilder über die Timeline Einstellungen hat bisher nichts gebracht.

Premiere pro cc bug??? - timeline indicator goes beyond end of sequence...

Not sure if anyone else has come across this. But for some reason, in my premiere pro cc (2014.2) verison, my timeline indicator doesn't stop at the end of my sequence but goes a good distance beyond that. I zoomed in all the way and already verified that there are no video or audio clips where it stops.
The timeline needle should stop at 00;08;09;20 which is the end of my sequence.
But instead it stops at 00;08;14;51. No idea why:

Premiere Pro CS5.5 Won't Play Timeline or Any Media W/ Dual Monitors

Hello ,
I've recently ran into a Problem with Adobe Premiere CS5.5 , I decided to resort to the Support Forums to see if someone has an idea. I've been using Premiere for around a year , i've never had an issue like this before. Its a great editing tool and one that i'd love to continue using in the years to come!
The problem i have , is that when i open up a timeline any timeline that i've created/saved. I press Space which is the Hotkey for play , However it doesn't seem to play the video in either of the two source monitors.
I did a little digging around the internet to see if i could find any solutions , According to one person it may be an issue with the Video Drivers installed on my computer? After reading this , I Updated by Video Drivers however this hasn't fixed my problem? Do i have to enable the drivers or will be laptop automaticly switch to the new Video Drivers.
I usually edit with a second monitor which has been working fine. When i disconnect the monitor from the Laptop , And just edit using my Laptop , It works fine. I'm just wondering if someone has a Solution , Perhaps someone may have had a similar problem than me?

Or, go into the audio units format of the timeline and manually adjust the audio portion of the cut to hit as close to a zero crossing as possible. Jim's way is the easiest, and sufficient for most people, but if you need perfect cuts and not a quick fade, it is possible to do it in Premiere Pro.

Hallo Liebes Forum,
das hier ist mein erster Foreneintrag weil ich mit meinem Latein einfach am ende bin. Normalerweise bin ich immer in der Lage meine Probleme aus eigener Kraft zu lösen aber dieses mal hab ich mehr als genug Nerven verloren. Ich suche jetzt schon seit mehreren Tagen nach einer Lösung..vergebens. Ich hoffe einfach, dass mir hier jemand aus dem Debakel helfen kann.Ich habe mir für ne Stange Geld Premiere Pro cs 5 erworben und leider tut es nicht das was ich gerne hätte.
Zum Problem; Ich habe mir eine Videocam zugelegt die alle Videos in avi produziert. Wenn ich versuche die Datei in Premiere zu inportieren wird nur die Audiodatei angezeig und das Video selbst nicht. Im VLC Player wird die avi problemlos wiedergegeben. Habe auch versucht eine mov. Datei in Premiere abzuspielen da hat das auch reibungslos funktioniert. Ich habe für euch mit G-Spot eine Analyse der avi erstellt um euch die Sache ein bisschen zu verdeutlichen. Den Link binde ich dann unten ein. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen weil ansonsten sehe ich wirklich keine andere aussicht.
Bitte erinnert mich falls ich ein wichtiges Detail vergaß. Ansonten bedanke ich mich vielmals und im voraus für eure hilfreichen Antworten.

bin auch neu hier, und versuch dir mal ein paar tipps zu geben, falls das noch nicht aufgelöst ist.
eine AVI datei kann aus verschieden codec's bestehen...
es kann in über 15 verschieden codierte .avi bestehen...
manche kann adobe einfach nicht übersetzen ( vlc kann so gut wie alles abspielen^^ )
bekannte codierungen:
H.264 ( sollte mit adobe premiere gehen )
mpegI, mpeg-II, mpeg4,
(ich hab mir mpeg codierten videoformaten - mit meinem cS3 probleme)
mein Tipp:
hol die den converter "SUPER" (freeWare) ...
da kannste damit rumspielen, und rausfinden ob's an den verschiedenen .avi s liegt
auf dauer kann ich mir vorstellen das das konvertieren nervig sein kann, aber ich hab mit meiner cam (AVCHD, .m2Ts)
noch mehr Probleme ... vorallem weil "super" das nich richtig convertiert ...
hoffe ich konnte dir helfen ... würde das ganze (quallitativ) als .mov H.264 proggresiv (p) speichern.

Premiere Pro CS5 zeigt beim Exportieren von Medien Hinweisfenster

Hallo @ll,
heute habe ich in Premiere Pro CS5 meinen ersten Film bearbeitet. Als ich den Film exportieren wollte unter Datei --> Exportieren --> Medien, geht als erstes ein Hinweisfenster auf. "Für diese Version von Premiere Pro ist ein Adobe Media Encoder-Update verfügbar. Um das neuste Update herunterzuladen, starten Adobe Updater über das Hilfemnü oder besuchen Sie die Seite xxxxxxx Update Seite von Adobe.
Ich habe aber alle Programme von CS5 auf den neusten Stand. Adobe Premiere Pro Version 5.0.3 und Adobe Medi Encoder Version 5.0.1.0 64 bit.
Wenn ich auf OK klicke schließt sich das Fenster und ich kann, wenn denn Adobe Premiere Pro nicht abstürzt, den Film exportieren.
Mein System ist Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Speicher 12 GB.
Kann mir evtl jemand helfen wie ich das Hinweisfenster abgeschaltet bekomme.

Hallo Carlos,
den Fehler kannst du wie folgt beheben.
Gehe in den Ordner wo Adobe Media Encoder liegt. Bei mir ist es C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Media Encoder.
Erstelle vom Media Encoder Programm eine Verknüpfung auf dein Desktop. Diese Verknüpfung kopierst du dann direkt in den Ordner von Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. Die Verknüpfung vom Desktop kannst du danach wieder löschen.
Dann funktioniert alles und Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 startet ohne diese Meldung.
Der Fehler muss bei mehreren aufgetreten sein. Adobe hat extra dafür ein Ticket eröffnet.
Ich hoffe ich konnt dir helfen.

I'm no longer asked to match sequence settings in Premiere Pro CC when dragging clip to timeline

I don't know what happened but all of a sudden, when I drag clips from project into the timeline, I'm no longer asked if I want to match clip settings with sequence settings. How can I re-enable this asking feature?

Preferences --> General --> Reset all warnings. For anything beyond that ask in the Premiere forum and provide the necessary technical details.

Premiere pro CC fortlaufende wiedergabe auch bei timeline "sprüngen"

hi,
komme von FCP und möchte gerne wissen, ob es eine möglichkeit gibt, dass der playhead in premiere quasi auf "immer abspielen" gestellt wird.
wenn ich jetzt meine timeline abspiele, dann ohne zu stoppen zu einer anderen stelle springen möchte, bricht der abspielvorgang immer ab,
und ich muss erneut "play" drücken um an der neuen stelle fortfahren zu können.
falls es da eine möglichkeit zur änderung gibt wäre das super

Adobe premiere pro CS6 crashes whenever I move the timeline

Hi there, my Adobe Premiere pro CS6 crashes when moving the timeline or importing new clips. I have tried several things, I opened up a earlier project to try that and it was fine for a while, but after about 5-10mins of use it hit the same problem and would then always crash whenever I openend it and moved the timeline marker or added a new clip.
Another problem that may or may not be related, is that some clips are broken up into about 6 glitchy squares instead of the actual clip.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?

Probleme treten vor allem bei Kompositionen mit Ray Traced 3D Elementen auf, wie 3D Schriften und Lichtebenen.

Timeline in Premiere Pro is blocked.

Just downloaded Premiere Pro CC and realised that the timeline is not working. Cannot drag videos into it, cannot apply sequences, cannot even use the tool "Timeline Display Settings". Does anybody know why? And how to fix it?

Premiere Pro CC timeline grayed out.

I recently upgraded to Premiere Pro CC from CS6. The timeline is grayed out and will not accept any type of video file. The source window is able to play video files but not the timeline. I'm running windows 7, (2) quadro K5000 video cards. Please help?

As John as pointed out there is a problem with Premiere Elements 10 on a computer with a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card. The remedy is to roll back the driver
version to about May 2013. Additional summary can be found

However, here is the critical question that comes next when you have Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce....What computer operating system are you using?
There may be no solution for you, if the answer is Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit. Reason...NVIDIA does not have older drivers for these cards that go back far enough
for the roll back. If you have Windows 7, you should be able to find a driver dated about May 2013. Please see John's link for Old Drivers, and plug in your information
to get the driver that you need.

Help! Premiere Pro runaway timeline playback with multicam and Cineform Neo clips

Hello,
I have experienced a problem with a "runaway timeline" in Premiere Pro CS5.5 - not always, but fairly often. Once playback begins, nothing short of restarting the computer can stop it. I don't know if this is a bug that needs fixing or something else. I am a recent Mac / FCP7 switcher to the Adobe product line.
My machine is a Sandy Bridge i7 quad core chip on Windows 7 with 16GB of RAM. I do not have an Nvidia card in the system yet. I am running Premiere Pro 5.5 using a multicam timeline with Cineform Neo clips at 1080p (four camera angles). The initial "live edit" of the multicam went well, and I am now trying to go back and tweak the exact edits. Playing back the multicam sequence to check the program edits has resulted in three "lock ups" where nothing will stop the playback (video and audio), not the space bar, mouse, escape key, nothing. The mouse still moves normally but none of the buttons in Premiere Pro "click". Interestingly, I can open other programs and hit restart on the computer, but the timeline just keeps on playing. All clips are converted to Cineform Neo at 1080p. The computer is showing 56% of CPU being used and roughly 45% of RAM.
I don't what other info would apply - no other apps are open when this happens and none were open before this (clean boot with Premiere being the first and only program run).
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix or avoid this, I would be very appreciative.

Thank you for your reply. I like the machine, and I did try the clips without converting but the HDV and DSLR clips alongside the XDCAM clips all in one multiclip really didn't flow so well. I also love First Light for color grading and correction (part of Cineform Neo) - the color correction is all in the metadata, so there is no slow down or drag on the system during playback.
I have an OWC 4TB RAID connected via eSata which should be plenty fast, especially on the Sandy Bridge chipset and 16GB of RAM, but the clips just didn't feel light or zippy. Coming from a Final Cut Pro background, I'm so used to transcoding everything to ProRes (and I used to be on Adobe and then Vegas so I was used to Cineform's workflow), that going back to Cineform seemed like a good solution. Cineform is also the format we are using as a mastering format for program materials.
It all plays very well, the four cameras in the multiclip, the trouble is that as I'm watching the playback of the mixed multiclip, it just keeps on playing. Nothing stops it, it's very weird. Especially since it continues to playback perfectly and I can also open other apps and work around in them (trying to unstick Premiere). Still the timeline continues to play, perfect video and sound without skipping a beat. I haven't let it reach the end (long form program) so I don't know how that would affect it. I wish I knew if it was a Premiere thing, a Cineform thing or something in the cross talk. In any case, I seem to be the only one with this weird side effect.......

Bringing Premiere Pro project into After Effects

I tried importing Premiere Pro projects to After Effects, but I only got the various files, not the timeline. I just watched a tutorial about Dynamic Link, but when I clicked Adobe Dynamic Link/New After Effects composition in Premiere, I got a layer that was all black, with no sound. I have CS3 Production Premium and Windows XP Media Center SP2.
Right now, I just want to keep what I edited in Premiere, but I get better quality video if I export it to H.264 MOV in After Effects than anything I've found in Premiere. I can't understand why that's so, but until I find something just as good in Premiere, I want to save everything in After Effects.

Create a project and a comp. Copy the timeline from Premiere Pro and paste it into the timeline of After Effects.
