What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

  • While IE 8 prints FF 3.6.16 runs into a "unknown error" when I attemp to print from a website; how to fix it?

I call up a web page, I click on File and the click on Print. The print process begins but at about 50% progress an error message pops up saying that "An unknown error has occurred in the printing process..." and the process comes to a halt.
IE 8 simply prints the same page without difficulty. HP support was not able to help.

So far,it seems to work.Funny,I have described this problem to someone at [email protected],and they couldn't help me,and never suggested the "reset" option. The problem has been intermittent, which leaves me holding my breath-hopefully,my problem is permanently solved. Thanks!
    Update:
Not sure if this helps, but something bizarre is happening in my Preferences. The "print.print_printer" entry has disappeared (which I had reset earlier),and when I close and restart FF,the settings in Preferences change, seemingly at random.Sometimes Print works, sometimes it doesn't. Attached are screen shots of both Preference states which seem to cycle back and forth. It doesn't seem to affect the ability/inability to print when in either state.

    Hello jodifromahwatukee,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
From what I understand, it sounds like Safari is not loading a single page or multiple webpages correctly and it is trying to reload the content. In this situation, there are a few different steps that I would recommend.
First, I would recommend clearing your history and website data as described in the attached article.
Safari web settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Nest, after the data has been cleared, I would recommend closing Safari completely as described in the next attached article.
Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support
After Safari has been closed, reset your iPhone. After the reset, open Safari fresh and use it as you normally would. If the issue continues, please let me know.
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    Have a great day,
    Joe

Premiere PRO CS4 " unexpectedly quit error" since loaded Sorenson squeeze 8.5 is there a bug fix

CS4 is old, and there will be no more updates, past the ones on the update site
All Adobe updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
Ask Sorenson if 8.5 is even supposed to work with CS4

  • WIS 30902 Error when opening a webi document from Rich client

    Hi ,
When I try to open a webi document from local folder or import from CMS in Webi Rich client, I get the following error message.
"An error occured while checking the document security. (WIS 30902)"
Has any one come across this issue?
    Thanks,
    KartheeK

In our case, we could initialize Webi Rich Client (Webi RC) successfully , but later we found that any disruption in Webi RC client connection will corrupt the client ..\LocData files used by client to dock to the CMS, causing WIS 30902 error.
At first we thought just deleting the ..\LocData Client .lsi files fixed it. Unfortunately, there are a collection of files and folders in ..\Loc Data involved in the authentication. We already found that complete deinstall of Webi RC didn't work. Now we know the problem is in the \My Business Objects Documents\LocData values.  Deinstall of Webi RC does not delete them.
It sounds scary, but isn't. The Webi RC will download the refreshed files it needs automatically from the CMS. However, it won't overwrite the old bad ones, and you have to do that manually.
    Solution.
    1. Logout of Webi RC. Make sure it is not running in taskmgr.
    2. Go to the client ..\My Business Objects Documents\LocData folder.
    3. Delete all the files and folders, or rename by adding .bak extension.
    4. Logon with Webi RC
    5. Corrupt files will now be resynchronized to CMS

  • Error when running EXE but not from editor. How do I find it?

When I run my app from the editor, the program works fine. But when I try to run the EXE, I get an "index out of range" error. (???)
I examined my code extensively but I can't figure out for the life of me where the error's coming from.
Any advice on how to track it down? Thanks.

Find out what is using indexes then correct whichever code is using indexes. Apparently you have not examined your code extensively enough.
Can't you see details of the error and find what line the error occured on?
    La vida loca
    Monkeyboy brings an interesting point.
Try wrapping all of your code in a try-catch block and msgboxing the stacktrace, that way you can find the line.

  • Rundll32 error when opening a PDF attachment from Outlook 2010

The computer is a 32 bit Win7.  Outlook is 2010 for business.  Everything was working fine until 4 days ago.  Now have to save the pdf to the desktop and open it from there.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

The rundll32 error seems to have disappeared.  Until this morning I had both this error and the rundll32.  All other types of docs open fine.  This one will open if saved to the desktop first, but not from Outlook.

  • Error when opening, via email, files from PC computers

Whenever I receive a file through email from another person who has created the file on a PC (i.e., a Word or Adobe Acrobat file), the file won't open and I receive this message:
"Word (or other application, adobe, etc.) cannot open this document. The document might be in use or might not be a valid Word document."
I do know that the files aren't corrupted because they do open successfully when I open them on a PC.
What do I do to solve this problem?
    Thanks.

You can always ctrl-click the document and choose Get Info > Open with > ( Choose from the dropping menu or assign ) the application you want.

  • Premiere Pro Crashing During Export

    Hi,
I am getting the "Premiere Pro encountered a serious error" message in the middle of an export - over and over. I have tried rendering at 1080p and at 720p. My export gets to around the 1:20 mark (in my 4 minute sequence) and crashes. I have looked at the clip that it's on during crash. Nothing seems to be amiss and I'm able to render those frames for preview in PP. I have Denoiser II and Looks applied to this clip. But, I have Denoiser applied to all of my clips and I have Looks applied to many of them. Every clip up to this point in the sequence renders, no problem.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Steve

Check for corrupted or poorly-constructed fonts installed on your system.  A free font manager like the ones listed here:
    Best Free Font Manager
can help with that.  I use FontFrenzy.  Start troubleshooting by using your font manager to make a backup of your current font installation, then pick half of the fonts and delete them.  Go into the Adobe apps and see if you still get the error.  If not, then you know the problem font is in the half you deleted.  Restore them and delete half again from just that group.  And so on until you find the bad font(s).

  • Im using premiere element 9 getting serious error occurred force to close can't open project crashes

Im using Mac and recently when openning projects in premiere 9 i get serious error occurred force close. It was working and my computer crashed and new hardware was installed. I was able to do one project before this started. I can edit and complete my video but cant burn or reopen the project without get the error message and closes. How do i repair?

What was it that Meatload said, "two out of three ain't bad... ?"
Glad that two Projects burned properly.
Before you trash that one Project, I would do this little exercise:
Move all of your Assets (your Media files) to another folder, so that PrE cannot find them. That part is much easier, if you set up your Project in its own folder structure, with sub-folders containing all media used.
Then Open that Project. In the loading process, you should get a dialog screen, asking "Where is file ______?" At that point, navigate to the new location, that you Moved the files to. PrE will then re-link to that first file, and then survey the PREL (Project) file, and re-link to every file used in the Project. If the media is in several sub-folders, you will need to repeat that navigation to the respective sub-folder.
Then, test the Project to see if that re-linking has "fixed" things.
If not, then the Project is probably corrupt.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

  • Premiere Pro crashes when editing with strange error

My project in Premiere Pro CS6 opens up fine. When I attempt to edit anything in the sequence (simply moving some footage around), I get the following error:
Premiere pro has encountered an error. [/Volumes/BuildDisk/builds/mightykilt/shared/adobe/MediaCore/Backend/Make/Mac/../../Src/S equence/FeedbackGroup.cpp-193]
Then the program crashes. Have to reopen, and rename the project. And I'm never able to edit anything. It's been working fine for about a month. This happened suddenly. Tried rebooting both external harddrive and computer. Tried saving the project file on the harddrive and on the computer. Tried opening a new file and copying in the sequence.

Thanks, ibrahimashmawey. That error report gives us enough information to investigate this crash. Our offices are closed all next week, so it will be at least July 8 before we have any answer. In the meantime, you might want to try downloading the CC trial to test whether this issue is fixed in the new version. Also, I suggest Googling: ".cpp-193" premiere. I got several hits, including one on these very forums that moving an audio clip to another track resolved the problem.
