Please help me find a solution to this problem. Thanks!

Check for corrupted or poorly-constructed fonts installed on your system.  A free font manager like the ones listed here:
Best Free Font Manager
can help with that.  I use FontFrenzy.  Start troubleshooting by using your font manager to make a backup of your current font installation, then pick half of the fonts and delete them.  Go into the Adobe apps and see if you still get the error.  If not, then you know the problem font is in the half you deleted.  Restore them and delete half again from just that group.  And so on until you find the bad font(s).

    Hi justinB,
    Welcome to the Forums.
Please go to the location of the mentioned aticfx.dll and move it to your desktop. This file might be a result of bad installation of Graphics Drivers. Please launch the Premier Pro and check if it works.
    Regards,

  • Premiere Pro crash on launch

Premiere Pro crash on launch (dvaui.dll fault) for one user, but not on random account created on same machine.
    How do fix?

Fonts can cause issues. First, corrupt fonts can cause launch hangs and Titler crashes. Next, there are some fonts that are not corrupt, but just do not work well with Adobe products. One such font is from SunMicro Systems, and installs with OpenOffice - Deja Vu. There are probably many, many more. Some fonts, like Isabelle and Isabella (by some different foundries too), will not cause issues, but just not display properly in many Adobe apps.
Fonts - you can't live without them, and sometimes it's tough to live with 'em, especially some.
Thanks for reporting and good luck,
    Hunt
PS - this ARTICLE covers some issues with Titler (can also apply to launch), but is highly PC-centric.

That's not what you asked. Perhaps asking a specific question will get you closer to a specific answer?
The titler does not crash for me at any stage of the Adobe updates for Premiere Pro, including 3.2.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro - Crashing with OpenCL Hardware Acceleration on Export

    Hey everybody,
One of the major reasons I decided to buckle down and pay for PPCC was the OpenCL Hardware acceleration with AMD cards. I run two AMD Radeon 7870s in Crossfire right now, and I immediately noticed a huge difference in performance when editing. When it came time to export my video, though, Premiere Pro would crash after rendering around 2% of the full video. I've tried both with and without Crossfire activated but using OpenCL with Hardware acceleration crashed my export no matter what. As soon as I turned it back to regular Mercury Playback (software only), the project rendered just fine.
I currently have the lastest AMD drivers and have had no other issues with my card, and I also gave PPCC the latest update as well. Any idea why this might be happening? I wouldn't be surprised if I need to wait for a latest AMD driver in order to get things to work with the brand new CC apps, but I figured I'd farm my question out here just in case. I'm running on Windows 8 64 bit.

Yes. I have problems with my new AMD 1950 3GB. I creat 2h 20 min project on premiere cc and put on all material color correction. NO lumetri. Premiere crache on export about 1h after working.
I was editing AVCHD material and export from presets to Blu-Ray H264 and mpeg2 with the same result.

    Project: veloci raptor 250GB
    Export: veloci raptor 250GB
    RAM: 32 GB
    Graf: radeon HD7950 3GB, Gigabyte
When I switch to my old card - nvidia - GTX470 everything just go fine and my export is finish perfectly.
I was using beta driver from amd 13.4.
It is confusing because I bought that card especially for Premiere CC, and I was thinking to bought second one, and maybe more...
Please help what can I do with it.
    Sory for my english

  • Premiere Pro crashes after making a new sequence from media file

Every time I upload a video file and make it into a new sequence, a message pops up saying, "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I've already re-installed the program, and checked to see if I had SP1 which I do. The crash report says:
Faulting application name: Adobe Premiere Pro.exe, version: 8.2.0.65, time stamp: 0x5486db4a
Faulting module name: OpenCL.dll_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x50eb1a5b

    Faulting module path: OpenCL.dll
    Report Id: d2fb308f-8b20-11e4-80e1-d897ba034251
Any ideas on what I can do to get it to work again??

In light of the faulting module (OpenCL.dll) and the exception code (0XC000005), I'd start by updating the graphics driver--manually through the card manufacturers site--or, if it's a laptop, from the computer manufacturer's site. Don't rely on Windows to get you the latest. If that doesn't work, try switching the Renderer to Software Only [File>Project Settings>General].
If those measures don't work, then check the suggestions in this article: Computer tricks and tips: How to Fix 0xC0000005 Error

  • PP CC will NOT render timeline, crashes, OpenCL.dll to blame?

Hey all. I very much appreciate any help. I just opened CC for the first time, used CS6 since it came out with hardly any problems at all. (It should be noted that no version of Premiere has ever been run on this machine) I brought in some footage, tried to render and within 10 seconds it crashes. I have tried to only render certain portions, copy/paste to a new sequence, render audio only all with the same results. Below are all the details.
Sequence AVCHD 720p 30fps about a 50 minute clip, plugins used, dynamics, eq and RGB curves
    PP CC 7.0.1
    Windows 7 64bit SP1

    Intel i7 4820 3.7ghz
    16gb ram
Sapphire 7900 HD Radeon series running 13.200.16.0 drivers
I think it is related to my GPU because of the crash report below. Something to do with OpenCL.dll

    Andrew

Hey John, thanks so much. So far, an hour into the render and it has worked. I wasn't famiilar with OpenCL.dll or that the rendering was set to be GPU accelerated. I found it, changed it to software only. It is a shame though, it was definitely faster with it, or at least the estimated time was. Any fixes for that? Maybe try different video drivers?
    Thanks again!

if anybody has a fix please let me know thanks

Have you updated your video driver? If not, that could well be the issue. Go to the nVidia, or ATI Web site, and get the latest version for your video card.
Now, something else to consider is that during boot up, something is loading, that is getting in the way. This ARTICLE will give you tips. In Safe Mode, those problem programs and processes are not loaded.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
