Premiere Pro Crashing During Export

Hi,
I am getting the "Premiere Pro encountered a serious error" message in the middle of an export - over and over. I have tried rendering at 1080p and at 720p. My export gets to around the 1:20 mark (in my 4 minute sequence) and crashes. I have looked at the clip that it's on during crash. Nothing seems to be amiss and I'm able to render those frames for preview in PP. I have Denoiser II and Looks applied to this clip. But, I have Denoiser applied to all of my clips and I have Looks applied to many of them. Every clip up to this point in the sequence renders, no problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Steve

  • Adobe Premiere Pro Crashes During Export

When using Export Media, Premiere crashes about 40-60% through the export process. I've tried messing with the settings for days now, and always the same result. This snapshot is probably the 10th-15th attempt at exporting.
    Here's what happens:
    Computer specifications:
    Operating System
              Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
    CPU
              Intel Core i7 3930K @ 3.20GHz
              Sandy Bridge-E 32nm Technology
    RAM
              8.00GB DDR3 @ 800MHz (11-11-11-28)
    Motherboard
              Alienware 07JNH0 (CPU 1)
    Graphics
              VG248 (1920x1080@120Hz)
1280MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (NVIDIA)
    Hard Drives
932GB ATA ST31000524AS SCSI Disk Device (SATA)
    Optical Drives
PLDS DVD+-RW DH-24ABS SCSI CdRom Device
              DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device
    Audio
              Realtek High Definition Audio
    (Specifications from Speccy)
This is really aggrivating. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same issue, though consistently at 6%, regardless of the project.
    Specs:  AMD FX6200 @ 3.8GHz
    16GB RAM
    Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD (OS/Apps)
    WD 1TB HDD (Data)
    GeForce 640GT (GDDR3)
    Win 7 Ultimate SP1 x64
This was working fine when I was running CS 5.5, but I bought the SSD, and bit the bullet did a clean install of everything and got CC since I was already using Photoshop CC.

  • Premiere CS6 crashes during export

    Hi there,
I am running Premiere Pro CS6 on my (8GB of memory) macbook pro (OSX 10.8.4). New to PP as just switched from FCP. Am trying to export a 2.25hr timeline (rough cut of an indie feature). The files range from ProRes 4444, ProRes 422 HQ, H.264, Jpegs and various audio formats but mostly mp3s (not final quality, just in rough draft mode of the edit). The timeline has 6 video tracks and around 14 audio tracks just in case this makes a difference.
Every time i go to export the file either as h.264 or Prores 422 it renders all the files and then begins the encoding and crashes. Have now tried with Adobe Encoder and tried splitting the film into smaller parts and nothing is working. It crashed less quickly when h.264 was applied to a 20minute clip, but still crashed.
Before the timeline was SO long (2.25hrs) it was exporting 20-30min clips easy.
This is my first time with a complex timeline and i need help trouble shooting this and don't know where to start. Is it my system or corrupted files, or how do you begin to solve such a problem.
Any help is appreciated as i am not technically savvy when it comes to computer errors.
    - Oliver
(PS: if it helps to see the error log let me know and i can put it up)

    Noted re; the log.
Already read over that post prior to posting mine. However my computer is not shutting down, rather Adobe Encoder & Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 are crashing the moment the encoding begins. They render everything up and get ready to Encode. The moment it starts it crashes.
Any thoughts on why this could be happening?

  • Premiere Pro crashing on export (windows)

    Hi all
I have looked into the solution to this problem on the forums and it seems to be a mac only problem. However I am using windows 7 64bit.
I go to export>media it thinks about it for a few seconds and then premiere freezes, 'stops working' and crashes to desktop.
The project is less than 2 minutes long with some minor color correction, contrast and a bit of text. It has repeatedly done it with this project while others export fine.
    Tech specs are:
    Premiere Pro CC
    Windows 7 64 bit
    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 0 @ 2.GHz
    32 GB RAM
    AMD Firepro v5900
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

    Hi john
I have found what was causing the problem, an errent large .psd file had found its way into the project and was causing the crash.
Its now been resized and all is well.
    Thank you for your time

  • Premiere PRO Crashes when exporting to H264

I'm running Premiere Pro 6 on a Windows machine. I find if I export a sequence of over 30 mins length to H264, HD 1080i 25, it regularly crashes - I have the box marked 'Maximum Render Quality' ticked. Would appreciate any advice on how to prevent this!

It would be very helpful to know the full details of your computer, your Source Files, and your Sequence Settings. See this FAQ Entry for what info you should post: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/961741?tstart=0

  • Why is Premiere Pro crashing during a media render?

I have a pretty straightforward project consisting of still photos, some video clips and an audio narration track. It is 55:28:38 long. When I try to export the media, during the render it gets about 28% of the way through and then I get a message that Premiere Pro has stopped working. Any ideas of where I begin to trouble shoot?

•Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?

  • Premiere Pro crashes during rendering any format

I have the current Premiere Pro CC Version in my 64bit windows 8.1 System. I have a nividia 7800 graphics card with current driver, 16GB ram and intel core i5 3,2GHz.
I did a 10:29 min version of my last holiday and tried to export it and it crashed. .It displayed a message that premiere pro stopped working and I will get a notice as soon as a solution is found.
I Tried to export to different formats and it never worked. I tried to export another shorter video I did (3:29min) and it worked. Both feature soundtrack, titles and so on.
Any idea, what could be the problem ? It did not do this till I bought my trialversion, before that I could export the video. I however also changed on part of the soundtrack and added some titles after registering the version.
What could cause a problem like this ?
    cheers

It does crash everytime at the same time after rendering already 81% of the file. This is the same in Media Encoder and in Premiere pro. There seems to be no entry in the event viewer of windows to this toppic. I also did ne reinstall vie cc cleaner and it did not help.
Can it be that the programm crashes since i have lots of pictures larger 100MB in it ? (Panoramas)
Still any help would be nice
I also created random video files that are larger than 10 min and it works, just this project does not.

Crashing during Exporting - I tried to export my sequence containing several clips both in Premier and AME and it keeps crashing - Help Pls.

    Thanks for your reply John.
My Premiere Pro is CS5.5 on Windows OS with all the recent updates installed.
My source footage is H.264 in a .mov/QuickTime format.
There were no error message(s) before the crashing. The computer just crashes after a few minutes of exporting. My output codec is also H.264 in a QuickTime movie format.
No other software is running at the time. Also, no third party codecs have been installed.
I'm not sure what type of engine I use. Kindly direct me to where I can find this information.
The problem has only happened with my final output.
    Thanks Again.
    Gloria
