Premiere Pro Crashing on my first start of the Program
So I purchased my subscription to Premiere Pro today and got everything downloaded with CC and the second I start up Premiere pro I select New Project and then the Program Closes down. I've Unistalled and re-installed, restarted my PC and still no luck and I am running on a PC. I have tried numerous things like Run as Administrator, Updating drivers, Restarting, and nothing. My Media Encoder CC works perfectly fine.
PC Specs:
Operating System: Windows 8 64-Bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-3350P 3.10GHz Quad Core
RAM: 6GB
Hard Drive: 4TB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Monitor: ASUS 1920x1080
Thank You!!
ok,
go to c:-program files*86-common-Adobe-SLCache, rename the SL Cache to old SL cache
go to c:-Program Data-Adobe-SLStore and rename the Sl store to old SL Store.
Program Data is a hidden folder so have to change the view option in order to find the folder.
After following these steps run the application as admin.
Thank You
Arjun

this is for a current class and I'm already behind. I've done everything I could think of , I re-intalled tried to open it different ways...nothing is working.
The program came with my Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium.
The computer I'm currently using is a Toshiba Satelite C55t-A5123
and when I got o open it I get its main loading page showing the title Premiere Pro CS6 then it greys out not allowing my to click anything. and shows a icon box. Premiere pro is not responding....then it just closes the program. Sometimes I'll get a please wait while windows searches for solutions but it always ends up just closing the program -

Reply #8 was specifically to address this question.
>I basically wanted to know if this is a 3.2.0 issue or not.
That's not what you asked. Perhaps asking a specific question will get you closer to a specific answer?
The titler does not crash for me at any stage of the Adobe updates for Premiere Pro, including 3.2.

Premiere pro crashing upon opening projects
Whenever I try to open a project I've previously been working on I get and error and Premiere pro crashes. I've found a workaround in the form of deleting my preferences, but I have to do this everytime which doesn't seem normal.
First time using support so I'm not sure if I need to provide more

Welcome to the Forums.
Please go to the location of the mentioned aticfx.dll and move it to your desktop. This file might be a result of bad installation of Graphics Drivers. Please launch the Premier Pro and check if it works.

Please help me find a solution to this problem. Thanks!Check for corrupted or poorly-constructed fonts installed on your system. A free font manager like the ones listed here:
Best Free Font Manager
can help with that. I use FontFrenzy. Start troubleshooting by using your font manager to make a backup of your current font installation, then pick half of the fonts and delete them. Go into the Adobe apps and see if you still get the error. If not, then you know the problem font is in the half you deleted. Restore them and delete half again from just that group. And so on until you find the bad font(s).

Premiere Pro crash on launch (dvaui.dll fault) for one user, but not on random account created on same machine.
How do fix?Fonts can cause issues. First, corrupt fonts can cause launch hangs and Titler crashes. Next, there are some fonts that are not corrupt, but just do not work well with Adobe products. One such font is from SunMicro Systems, and installs with OpenOffice - Deja Vu. There are probably many, many more. Some fonts, like Isabelle and Isabella (by some different foundries too), will not cause issues, but just not display properly in many Adobe apps.
Fonts - you can't live without them, and sometimes it's tough to live with 'em, especially some.
Thanks for reporting and good luck,
Hunt
PS - this ARTICLE covers some issues with Titler (can also apply to launch), but is highly PC-centric. -
Premiere Pro crash on startup - Sony Vaio
Hi. I have had Premiere Pro CC 2014 - Trial version working for the past 4-5 days (~19 Nov 2014), but now it crashes on loading at the splash screen stage with the following signature. [Note it takes about 30-60 seconds to get to the splash screen when loading].
I've re-installed the video drivers (as per a previous post), but the problem isn't fixed. I haven't installed anything else except MediaFire, but this didn't cause the crash previously and don't allow it to load on boot. Windows 7 is updated fully again today. Will I have to do a clean boot and then see if PP works?
Any help appreciated.

Like others, I'd like to know what this dll is, before deleting it completely.
I'll keep searching Google. Many of Google links head back to sites similar to this one without any info on what the DLL is for.
(I generally know what a DLL is). Perhaps it is linked to an AMD CPU (I don't have) or GPU (I doubt I have). -
My Premiere Pro crashed and will not reload. Can I uninstall and re download with Creative Cloud?
Yes, if you're a Cloud subscriber and are running a 64 bit operating system.

Premiere Pro Crashes upon opening every time
Every time I try to open premiere pro cs4 it crashes I can't even use the program. The box that pops up says that the application has unxepectedly quit. My computer is running windows xp service pack 3. I have an Nvidia geforce 9500 gt video card. 2gb of ram, 320 gb of hard drive, intel dual core processor. All of the other adobe programs like encore and bridge run fine. I have put the program on my laptop and it runs fine so I know it isn't the program.
That's why I often point people to these troubleshooting tips. They cover things like that.
Happy editing.
Cheers

I started a creative cloud student membership but Premiere Pro and After Effects are not in the app
I started a creative cloud student membership but Premiere Pro and After Effects are not in the app and won't download from the adobe website, all that happens is that the creative cloud app opens and sends me to the list of programs available for download which still do not contain Premiere Pro and After Effects
Premiere Pro and After Effects are 64 bit only apps.
They require a 64 bit computer and a 64 bit operating system.
If you're running Windows 7 32 bit or Windows 8 32 bit then you will not be able to download, install or run Premiere Pro or After Effects.
See http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html#desktop-products
Which desktop applications in Creative Cloud require 64-bit operating systems?
With the new CC apps, most of the pro video and audio applications now require 64-bit operating systems to run. These native 64-bit applications include Adobe Premiere® Pro CC, Adobe Audition® CC, After Effects® CC, Prelude® CC, and SpeedGrade® CC. Flash Professional CC, Photoshop CC and Lightroom® also require 64-bit on Mac OS. -
Premiere Pro Crashing During Export
Hi,
I am getting the "Premiere Pro encountered a serious error" message in the middle of an export - over and over. I have tried rendering at 1080p and at 720p. My export gets to around the 1:20 mark (in my 4 minute sequence) and crashes. I have looked at the clip that it's on during crash. Nothing seems to be amiss and I'm able to render those frames for preview in PP. I have Denoiser II and Looks applied to this clip. But, I have Denoiser applied to all of my clips and I have Looks applied to many of them. Every clip up to this point in the sequence renders, no problem.
Any suggestions?
