Premiere Pro CS3 Export problem. help please.

is it normal when i try to export in H.264 Blu-Ray format, there's 3 files created when finished?
Sequence 01.m4v
Sequence 01.m4v.xmpses
and Sequence 01.wav.
and when i try to open m4v there's no sound?
maybe its really for Blu-Ray.
there's really no way to export it with good image quality for youtube and ESPECIALLY, best sound quality ( at least PCM 16-bit 48-Khz or higher )
im REALLY surprise it can't export in AVI.

Welcome to the forum.
In your Export setting, go to Multiplex Settings, and chose anything except "None." Then, you will get a multiplexed file, with both the Audio & Video Streams in one file. See this article for more detail: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3557964#3557964

  • Premiere Pro CS3 exporting issues

    Hey everyone,
Been racking my brain lately trying to figure this one out but i've yet to fix the problem.
I'm getting various errors when trying to export a video. These range from and include; the traditional failure to render (with the error coming at various points), video rendering losing a frame, unkonw errors and the infamous "\Src\PPixHandleUtilities.cpp-114" error.
I have been browsing the forums and encountered a suggestion to optimize the speed of rendering based on my memory by going through the edit>preferences>general option.
Specs of my computer: I run a Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit OS, 4GB ram, with an intel core 2 duo processor @ 2.80 GHZ. For a video card i run a Radeon 5830. All drivers for everything are fully updated and current. I am currently using one 500 gb HDD and a 2TB external. In addition to the computers spec i feel it is important to note that i run a dual monitor display with one 26 inch @ 16:9 and one 19 inch @ a 4:3.
As adivised by Hunt in anothe rpost i have taken the liberty of looking into the size of the paging file for all drivers. It is 3327 MB.
Should anybody require more details let me know.
Problems and errors: The errors which i am having are not restricted to certain intervals of the video, they range and can occur at any point throughout the exporting and rendering process. This most commonly will occur within the first 30%.
The video itself is a little more than 12 minutes long and contains footage from two different cameras, each one had provided a different file type (the primary being .MOV and the secondary being .AVI) At first i had believed that the secondary cameras footage could have been the problem (we had never used this camera for filming prior to this) so i ran a conversion on the file types through AVS and transfered them to a .MOV file as well. However, this seems to have not resolved any isseus with errors. Prior to this video i had never had any issues with Premiere Pro and exporting, that being said, i am still fairly new to premiere pro.
I have tried exporting this file in may different ways. The main one, . AVI had no luck and was mainly plagued with the "\Src\PPixHandleUtilities.cpp-114" error with a few unknown errors present just to mix it up a bit. I began trying to export through encoder to find an extension/any settings that could possibly work. The main one which i've been trying is the .MOV extension with the intent of uploading to youtube. settings i use for exporting on that are as follows:
    quallity - 100
    width - 1280
    height - 720
    bitrate - 4000
Every piece of video within the footage runs at 29.97 fps (what we try to export at) with the exception of the three clips from the secondary camera which were previously AVI. They run at 30.00. All file types are shot in 1280x720. The one image which is present as a title overlay within the video is also a 1280x720 size.
If anybody has insight towards this issue please let me know, i would be very happy.
Should anybody require any further information give me a shout, i'll do my best to provide it.

  • Premiere Pro CS3 - exporting uncompressed AVI renderes black vid - help

I'm putting together a small demo reel (just under 6 minutes) where the image quality is important above all things.  I was trying to export an Uncompressed AVI movie, 1920x1080 with 16bit 48Hz audio in Pro CS3 (I don't have access to a later version), which seems to work except the video is being rendered black (the final file is 32 gigs).  I tried testing this with a 5 second clip to see if the length or size of the file was causing the problem but it was the same.  The reason I am doing this is that I want to do my codec and burn to DVD in another program (AVS) and need to export the video as pristine as possible,  It didn't seem to make a difference if I chose "uncompressed AVI" or the "Microsoft AVI" and then made sure the video setting were set to uncompressed.  I am sure that the video is alright as I was able to create a "Microsoft AVI" as long as I chose some sort of video compression but then that file is being doubly compressed.
I had heard mention that Premiere Pro (I am new to this package) should be able to export an uncompressed QT file as well but this option seems unavailable to me in the export options.
I tried using the Premiere Encoder to go straight to DVD from Premiere (this is not for Blue Ray by the way - I just wanted to master at HD so taht, in the future, when I do re-edit for Blue Ray I'll already have this material worked out for that resolution) but it generates a single Mpeg2 files that my DVD burner doesn't want to use (it seems to want things to be in the VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS directory structure).
Sorry for this layman stuff but any help is much appreciated.
    -Michael

    Thanks Jim,
I tried None but the images (video) still comes up black.  I've tried
looking at the final AVI through Premiere itself and also AVS Media
Player, Editor and a few other programs.  The uncompressed audio is
there but the video is rendered black (uncompressed black so the files
are still huge).  All I have to do is change the codec to Cinepak or
one of the others that are available and suddenly the images are there
as expected but, unfortunately, the image degradation once this file
has been converted to High Quality DVD is not acceptable for my
    purposes.
I'm not sure what other alternatives there are  -- is there a way to
load additional codecs into Premiere (such as QT uncompressed) so that
I can give those a shot?
Thanks for your help on this.

    Welcome to the forum.
Looks like you are on an iMac. To help others help you, can you post the specs of your system?
I was about to post links to a bunch of troubleshooting articles, but they were written for PC's so I dobut that any would apply here.
With the important data, someone is very likely to see a potential problem and help you.
In general terms, most problems sort out this way:

  • Premiere Pro Debug Event Problem [HELP NEEDED]

Hello guys & fellas, hello staff!
Since a few hours I've got a huge problem starting premiere pro cc 2014!
Since the beginning I'm not able to load an existing or begin a new project anymore, which is very annoying, because of the fact that I am a youtuber and I have to edit videos to upload them. Now I have to make a break until the problem is solved.
Thank you very much for your help!
    Best regards

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC animation problem Help

    Good evening, dear community,
a colleague of mine has created with Sony Vegas for me an animation! Since I currently own an iMac and a MacBook both I do not have the possibility to edit the animation on Sony Vegas! That's why I switched to a different video editing program called Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
I can take any animation exactly like there in this video, which I put in the annex behind, but I do not understand how the Gray bars simply appear from the "bottom". As if there would be an invisible field where this simply out floats. I play with the thought that this is a mask, but I'm not so perfected in the program as you probably!
    The Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfcMagqR-Vc&feature=youtu.be
I hope, you can help me.

    Hi bLaKe1337,
Which format is the animation in? Does it carry an alpha channel?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

  • Premiere Pro CS3 export to FLV Youtube settings

I want to export from Premiere to FLV for Youtube. My understanding is that this is the best way to get high quality outcomes for Youtube. I have used Premiere a little but need help with the settings eg. Which preset do I use when starting a new file? (DV-2p, DV NTSC, DV PAL, etc) I also need settings for exporting the file with the media encoder. I know this is a lot to ask. I would be grateful for any help.
    Rich Gilman

    Hi,
presets for starting a new file
You mean a new project in Premiere ?  If so, match what the source material is....whatever your source is ( video characteristics ) is the settings for new project....make them the same....
Use the GSpot program or something like that to determine the source video characteristics
YouTube converts stuff to MP4 .....it will convert anything you upload to YouTube to MP4....and handles a lot of different formats that are uploaded OK.
It doesn't have to be FLV ( which is a Flash format )  It can be MP4 that you upload.
Once you figure out what your source video is and start a new project, that may determine the best format ( codec ) to use for exporting....
So, once you have that info and have got that far in your work flow....it would then be easier to help  you with export settings..

  • Premiere Pro CS3 Capture Problem with Audio

    Setup:
    Premiere Pro 3.2.0
Video Capture Device: Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro capture card
Audio Capture Device: HT Omega Claro Plus XP
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
I am able to capture video with Premiere with no issues.  However, the audio does not get captured even though it is set to capture both audio and video.  I am configured for ASIO capture and playback.  Strange thing is that I can load Adobe Soundbooth and it will capture the audio just fine (from the same input stream as I'm trying to do with Premiere).  What gives?  I'm almost out of options.
From what I can see, when I hit F5 and go into capture mode, Premiere seems to insist that it must capture audio from the blackmagic design audio ports, and even though I have the audio explicitly setup for the Claro in audio hardware, if I go into the capture settings, it still is set on "Blackmagic Capture" as the capture format, and when I go to settings, I can pick the audio channels to capture, however.... I don't want to capture with the blackmagic for audio.   The capture format MUST be "Blackmagic Capture" or else I can't capture the video.  It still doesn't make sense though, since I have the audio hardware set for input from the claro ASIO.  It shouldn't force Blackmagic audio.
    Any ideas?  Please help

    Some additional information:
Sound card is a Claro Plus XT not XP.  Used to typing XP heh
Also, the video capture works with the included blackmagic capture software, as well as freeware solutions like VirtualDub and a Japanese freeware program I use.  I'm able to capture video and audio without issue on those.  Just don't know why Premiere doesn't do it...

  • Premiere Pro CS3: Many Problems Fixed By Upgrading to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

I recently installed an SSD drive and Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Installing the Adobe Master Collection CS3 went smoothly and only took a few minutes instead of an hour, as in the past.
Premiere, for the first time in the years I've used it, runs STABLE. Not only that, but I can have AfterEffects open at the same time. And Maya 2008. And everything chugs along smoothly.
Case in point tonight: Multicam Editor: Under XP, it worked, but the quality of the video displays would be badly pixellated when video was playing. Under Windows 7, all the four viewports plus the 'online' viewport are sharp and clear and I can see if a camera is slightly out of focus, which was impossible to detect in the past until I watched the finished result.
The audio dropouts everyone complained about for years are a thing of the past.
And here's the biggie: I can render, render, render and keep rendering h.264 files and Premiere keeps ticking. Under XP, 2 to 3 files and that's it. Unknown Error would be the next render result. Under W7-64, I rendered all night and day without shutting or restarting Premiere, and I even had Maya and AE going and was working in them at the same time, something I could never do in XP because it would run out of RAM. And I can do this in 4GB ram! With 8GB, AE renders 3.5X faster, but most other programs remain about the same. I figure in the case of AE, it has EXCLUSIVE use of 4GB ram all to itself on an 8GB system. At any rate, die-hard CS3 users, don't be afraid to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit.
The only thing you need to do differently is put the Postscript fonts in Adobe's fonts folder, as it won't see the Windows\Fonts-located PS fonts.
My 2008-vintage editing workstation breaths new life, like a major hardware upgrade was done. The "$139 system performance upgrade" I call it. (Sure, adding the Intel 320 SSD helps, but mainly with launching programs--once they're running, the main improvement comes from Windows 7 64-bit.)

Actually, Win8 is really not a tablet OS... it is "essentially" Win7 with a different front end http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1101032
Anything other than a new Win8 "app" runs on the same kind of desktop you see with Win7

  • QuickTime Pro audio exporting error - help please!

So I've got Perian installed to read 1080p HD movies and I opened up .mkv files in QuickTime Pro and allowed it to read the files into memory (let the grey bar go for a few minutes).  Once that was done, I wanted to export the DTS 5.1 surround sound audio track to .AIF format and do a pass through encoding of the video only.  After this, I use MAX to convert the .AIF file into an AC3 file which I add back into the video only to create the final .mp4 file with 5.1 sound.  I've done this successfully before and I prefer this method to downconverting the 5.1 audio into stereo sound when converting the .mkv to .mp4.  This time however, QuickTime Pro miserably failed.  I have Avatar in 1080p and The Lord of the Rings trilogy in 1080p as well and I wanted to convert them to .mp4 the same way I've done before.  All of them failed with the same error.  When I tried to export the audio, I believe it said, "qtKiterrorcatchall (-1309)" and it failed.  It said this for all of the videos and strangely enough, it worked great with another .mkv movie I had perfectly with audio and video tracks in the same formats.  Does anyone know how I can fix this and export the audio track so I can preserve the surround sound and put it back into the .mp4 video file? Many thanks...

I'm having the same problem. Were you able to get an response or and answer to this problem? Thanks

  • Premiere Pro CS3 - export to Avi

I have been using Topaz enhance to upsize my SD footage to 1280 x 720 HD with some good results, I have to encode the footage to H264 (MPG4)
The process is very time consuming.
Is it poss to render the 1280 x 720 file to an Avi of the same output size? - Premiere changes it back to 720 x 576 when I export to Avi
The other question - How many times can you encode an Mp4 file as I have to bring the Topaz HD files back into the project?
The Mp4 files do not play well on my system 3.4ghz 3gb ram when using various players but play ok when exported into a new Premiere Cs3 project.
An Avi would speed up the render process.
    Hope someone can help

Where would I find Avi uncompressed or Lagarith within premiere? I have plenty of Hard drive space for large files
I can,t afford to keep waiting while the project re -encodes to an Mp4 10secs takes about an hour
Will an uncompressed Avi still keep the quality Topaz has produced, Encoding to H264 seems to retain it but takes ages.

  • Premiere Pro CS3 Major Problem

Alright, before I give you my problem, let me supply you with my pc specs:
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU
    6420 @ 2.13GHz
    2.0 GB RAM
    49/140 GB Hard Drive
Ok now to my problem. Today I finished a 4 minute long video. I used the Adobe Media Encoder to render my files and when it was at about 74% complete, my entire system/computer shut down. This has never happened to me before and I have rendered files of even larger length and size and there has never been any problem. I tried multiple times with multiple different file types and still, it shuts down. There are no special effects, no titles, no anything. Just pure video. The third time I rebooted my system and tried rendering my video, I opened up the task manager and noticed that before the rendering, my CPU Usage was at an average of about 5%. I started the rendering process and that 5% shot all the way up to 100% and stayed that way until my computer shut off. By this point I was out of my mind. I installed spyware removers, installed registry cleaners, defragmented, cleaned up my disc, turned off my virus software, etc etc etc. Still, nothing. Keep in mind, this is NOT an overheating issue. My computer is doing just fine with heat. Finally after about the 10th time I gave up and came here. Any help?

This ARTICLE in the PE Tips & Tricks sub-forum might help you gather some clues.
when it was at about 74% complete, my entire system/computer shut down
This is often a sign of:
1.) System heat issue. SpeedFan can help you monitor this
    2.) Power supply issue
    3.) MoBo issues
    4.) Physical RAM issues
I'd also check the free, defragmented space on your HDD. Rendering/Export creates a lot more files, than what you end up with, as the process is happening.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Exporting Problem

I recorded a video in 720p, 1280HQ at 30fps, PAL. I then imported these clips onto my pc as MP4 files.
I converted these MP4 files to AVI files using a MPEG4 codec.
The sequence I used of Editing Mode P2 720p 60Hz DVCPROHD.
I need to export my finished project as a Quicktime file using a H.264 codec (16.9) 640x360.
Everytime I try this Adobe Media Encorder encodes the audio only, no video.
    Can anyone help?

I can't avoid Quicktime if I can help it at all.
I'm not sure about the PAL thing. My camera has two options for "Video Out!, PAL and NTSC. I'm fairly sure the videos weren't recorded as PAL because they were 30fps.
