Premiere Pro CS6 export to Audition problem

When trying to export a sequence thorugh "Edit in Adobe Audtition" (with video preview), Premiere never gets passed the "Preparing Sequence Data" which runs infinitely.
When selecting the preview video option it actually makes it through the "Preparing Video for Adobe Audition..." and then runs the "Preparing Audio for Adobe Audition" process fine but then craps out on the next step and never makes it into Audition.
It is only a 13 minute clip that I am attempting to bring into Audition and when not selecting video preview, which i need to sync up the audio edits, it seems to work the majority of the time.

Thanks a lot Ann and Jim. You both being veterans on this forum I think I'm going to try both the methods starting with Ann's workflow. I've already started the export process and it says it's encoding it. This is what I've been seeing for the last 10 minutes:
I know you said the render bar won't show, but, here there is a bar only with no progress at all. Is this what you meant? Also, why is the CPU usage at 2% and RAM Usage at 19% when during encoding both figures hit the 50% - 60% mark?
So anyway, I closed the window and try again and this time it returned me an error, which basically crashes premiere:
Once again, I'm using premiere pro CC. Has this workflow been tried with CC?
Jim, I tried your method too. I referred to this page: http://neuron2.net/www.math.berkeley.edu/benrg/avisynth-premiere.html
I did exactly what it suggested, dropped the suggested .prm into the plugins folder. The first time I went to program > adobe > premiere cc > plug ins > common and then dropped the file there and opened premiere cc and went to export but under no option I get a 'link to avisynth' as filetype option. So then I go to program > adobe > common > plug ins > 7.0 > media core and I dump the .prm file there. I restart premiere and then go to export, same thing.
why are things so unnecessarily complicated and the ones which are not return error? This is so frustrating, I'm going crazy here. Please help, you guys.

  • Default Premiere Pro CS6 Export Location

I had to edit videos of mine into a documentary for an assignment at university and am now looking for the place where i exported the finished work to. I know it was saved into some strange location that I hadn't chosen because it took me a while to figure out how to choose the destination for the export. So, I'd like to know if anyone can help me find that folder, it was what I assume to be the default Adobe Premiere Pro Cs6 export destination. I need to find the finished project for another assignment...

Premiere remembers the last export location.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 exports Blackmagic 10-bit 444 codec at 8 bpc

Color depth is automatically set to 24 bits (8bpc) when using the Blackmagic 10-bit 4:4:4 codec to export a file from Premiere Pro CS6 (Win-7). Is it possible to render from Premiere Pro using a higher bit depth so that the output isn't clamped? After Effects allows higher depth, but it is not an ideal workflow to export complex Premiere projects from AE.

Thank you for responding. Yes, I exported test files from Premiere and After Effects, and compared the files to the source sequence using scopes and a difference matte. The After Effects CS6 32bpc export showed no differences to the source sequence at 0.0% matching tolerance. The Premiere Pro CS6 export was different from both the AE file and the source sequence at matching tolerances below 0.5%, but was the same as an uncompressed 8-bit AVI at 0.0% matching tolerance.

  • Premiere pro CS6 export to DVD

    Hi,
I have recently edited a film on premiere pro CS6 and it's all set to be exported. The film was shot with a 5D mark 3 @ 1920 x 1080, 24 fps. The timeline is about 160 minutes long. I have to export this to a DVD (like a classic DVD feature film with menus, subtitles etc). What export settings on premiere should I choose? I tried exporting in the .avi format but I'm getting horizontal lines (interlaced scanning) which is strange because I remember selecting the 'progressive scan' option.
I saw a video where this guy says adobe encoder is unable to resize HD videos into DVD (720x480) format succsessfully so he uses TMPGEnc video mastering to resize it before sending it to Encore.
Is TMPGEnc the only way around to this solution? Or is there something about premiere pro export settings that guy didn't know about, which probably the wise ones here can tell me?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kola

  • Premiere Pro CS6 - Exported Video Longer Than Audio

Hello all.  I've downloaded a series of tutorials from Groove 3 and have been using Premiere/Encore to convert them to Blu-rays.  Up until recently, I've had no problems with the workflow, but now I'm stuck and can't figure out what's happening.
The tutorials are broken down into individual video clips per chapter, AVC MP4 media, 30p.  Most of them are screen captures so they aren't in typical video resolutions, so what I've been doing is creating a new sequence in Premeire Pro (1280x720 59.94 or 30p, tried both) and brought the clips into the timeline.  I resize the video, add Encore chapter markers at the start of each clip, then export the sequence using the H.264 Blu-ray template with 1280x720 resolution.
The entire length of each tutorial varies - some are 90 minutes others are several hours - so sometimes I need to adjust the bitrate to ensure that I'm ending up with an .m4v that'll fit on the Blu-ray.
When I bring that .m4v clip into Encore as a timeline and preview the project, the markers start falling behind and there's considerable audio drift by the end of the sequence.
If I bring that exported clip back into premiere, I find that the video track is actually longer than the audio track, which explains the chapter markers/audio not lining up.  What I can't understand is why Premiere would export a video track that's longer than the audio track when everything lines up and plays back perfectly in the sequence timeline within PPro.
Again, I've used this workflow with previous tutorials and it worked fine, but I've not been able to fix this problem.  Even if I export a different container/codec out of PPro then convert it to .m4v in Media Encoder, I keep ending up with the same problem.
I'm thinking about making each chapter its own sequence and exporting each of them individually, then manually linking all of them together in Encore, but that seems like a pretty ridiculous workflow when everything should line up as is.
I had originally assumed it was because I was changing sequence settings when bringing the footage into PPro (I want the sequence to be in 1280x720, not the screen resolutions of the tutorial vids), but even when I ensure that the sequence frame rate matches that of the source videos, the exported media does not match up.
    Ideas?

The tutorials are downloaded as a zip file then extracted; I don't actually screen record the tutorials while streaming or anything.  I guess I couldn't say if variable frame rate was used when they recorded the tutorials, but the media I have shows up as 30fps as opposed to some sort of non-traditional frame rate that often shows up when recording with something at a variable frame rate (like the stock iPhone video camera app).

  • Premiere Pro CS6 Export issues

We are using CS6.1 on Dell platforms and Mac's in the studio and we produce long form commercials. We are missing all of our deadlines becasue we cannot export these 29 minute films. We also have issues with exporting to SpeedGrade and simply gave up. I have four TV shows that I cannot get off these computers. Further the dynamic linking literally sucks. sometimes you can open a JPEG in Photoshop and save it with the changes appearing in CS6 and sometimes not. We cannot export through Project Manger or export as an AVI, or any other codec for that matter. We never had any problems with CS5.
Right now I am having to transfer to a deck to get the files ready for broadcast check. It seems that when you only have few seconds of video it works fine, but it goes to hell in a hand basket after that.
Does anyone have a workaround or can you tell us what we are doing wrong?
Right now I am putting all the new shows on AVID for editing, at least that works.

  • Premiere Pro CC Exporting for video problems

I am having trouble exporting videos for vimeo lately. I never used to have this problem. I use these settings  Compression Tutorials on Vimeo Please help me!

Well, I'd think your machine capable of decent work. Ahem.
I'm assuming the Velociraptors are internal or eSATA? Or Thunderbolt?
Taking 9 hours to render 25 minutes of a 48 minute program is ... not normal. So, you did a wondrous job of providing your hardware data & setup, best I've ever seen perhaps! So ... what's the original camera & codec, is the sequence the same frame-rate & size as the footage or interpreted, what sort of effects have you used, and what export settings. Oh, and did any 3rd party programs or plugins "touch" this footage or sequence?

  • Premiere Pro CS6 export to JPG defaults to export as sequence

Sometimes I want to export a single frame as a JPG to use as a DVD label image. This encoding process should only take a few seconds. The first time I did this I couldn't understand why it was taking so long. When I scrolled down on the options I discovered that it was exporting as a sequence which meant that I had many more images than I needed. I've had a couple of versions prior to this one and have not had this issue before. I can't believe that most people would want this as a default setting. Since that first time doing it I still have trouble remembering to uncheck chis option. How can I get it unchecked permanently? I don't see anything in preferences that allows me to do that.

Make the setting into a preset if it will not stick to the last setting used.
Or use the camera icon in the Program Monitor.

  • Blackmagic & premiere pro CS6

since I have had so much trouble getting the blackmagic intensity pro to work with CS6, I thought it might be helpful to let others know what I have finally learned.  Using the blackmagic drivers 9.6.8 which can be found in the archives at blackmagic and setting the output to HDMI & component and the input to component video & Analog RCA audio, I have everything working perfectly, at least, for my setup.

Thank you for responding. Yes, I exported test files from Premiere and After Effects, and compared the files to the source sequence using scopes and a difference matte. • Exports From Audition CC Give "Header Error" in Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello,
I have finished the audio mixing on a 15 track project in Audition CC. It is very heavy so I had to export all the tracks separately to import them back into the Premiere Pro CS6 movie project. That way I could also do further adjustments in individual tracks later on directly on Premiere, if needed (since mixing isn´t something we´re ever done with).
I´ve exported them all in wav 9600 Hz 32 bit (Audition doesn´t say whether it´s floating point or not) and also wav 9600 Hz 24 bit. The originals on all the tracks were eitther wav 9600 Hz 24 bit, or wav 9600 Hz 32 bit (converted from 24 bit to aplly declipping and normalization), except 2 tracks with music that had mp3, wav and m4a.
When importing the exported Audition files back into Premiere all of the 15 tracks, including the ones that didn´t have mp3 and m4a in it, give me the message "The file cannot be opened because of a header error".
    Questions:
    1. What could be wrong?
    2. In case there isn´t a solution, what would be the best lossless formats to try and do the exports for importing into Premiere?
    Thanks a lot.

    I see...
Trouble is I´ve never had an answer for my posts in the Audition forum (I did originally post this here because I thought it´s more of a Premiere issue, though). I guess Audition just isn´t nearly as widely used as Premiere.
Also, I have done the same kind of exports for smaller tracks from Audition before and didn´t have an issue importing them into Premiere.
I find it really troubling that Adobe intends to make Audition a reliable pro audio suite integrated with Premiere and, on top of some weird issues like this one (and such as the 16 bit limit for sending a project from Premiere to Audition, making that integration probably useless for most pro uses), there´s so little support.
    But thanks a lot, anyways!

  • Export Problem (VBR, 2 Durchgänge) Premiere Pro CS6

    Hallo liebe Community!
