Premiere Pro CS6 won't open at all

Premeire Pro CS6 won't open at all. It locks up when it says "Loading QuickLooks_AE10.plugin" and the entire program doesn't respond at all. I think I just did the latest Creative Cloud update for the Premiere CS6 family. How can I get it working again? I have so many videos to edit! Thanks!

I have the Adobe Creative Cloud, and I installed Premiere Pro CS6 Family. I was able to open it once, but now that I have tried launching it recently, it comes up with an error message saying "This application has failed to start because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem". What exactly does that mean?

It means that the Microsoft Visual C++ Resource library got corrupted. Reinstalling can help, because that is the first step of the installlation process. The alternative is to go to the Microsoft site and download the latest C++ libraries and install them manually.

Premiere Pro CS6 won't open... Loading ImporterQuicktime.bundle

I just replaced the internal hard-drive after having issues with it and after restoring the system, I'm unable to load Premiere Pro CS6. I make it as far as the ImporterQuicktime.bundle before the program freezes and I have to force quit. I'm on a 13' Macbook Pro.
Please Help!

Premiere Pro CS6 won't open (nor will After Effects)

I'm using a Mac, and this morning my system needed to run two updates. The first was an update for OS X to 10.9.2. It's focus was on improvement to stability, compatibility, and security. The second was a CUDA driver update to 5.5.47. After both of the updates, neither Premiere CS6 or After Effects will open. They get stuck on the loading graphic with the spinning "beachball". I have to force quit both programs. What's weird is that the CUDA update in my system preferences states that "No newer CUDA Driver available" yet below that in red it says that an update is required. This has been extremely frustrating all day long. I've tried all of the following:
Uninstalling both programs and reinstalling
Restarting the computer after each step
Updating the programs usnig the adobe application manager
Launching both from the program icon as well as a project file
I'm guessing this is primarily to do with the CUDA driver situation. I'm not sure how to fix this..

Please go to below mention location on your MAC and delete the referenced file from it and then try to launch the program.
MACINTOSH HD or “Startup drive/Library/Frameworks” and delete “CUDA.Framework”

Trial premiere pro cs6 won't run anymore

Hello, I downloaded a trial for premiere pro cs6 yesterday and it worked great. But today, it wouldn't run anymore. I got the message that the program 'could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again'. I totaly didn't get it, but i restarted my laptop and then it worked. But an hour later, after closing the program, i wanted to open it again and i got the same message. This time, it didn't run after restarting.
Can someone please tell me what to do? How do i 'update my video display drivers'...? And how come i have to do this all of a sudden? I have a brand new laptop and i worked with premiere pro cs5 before.

Premiere Pro CS6 won't load audio volume.

When I open my project I get this:
Then, none of the volume adjustments work on the timeline.
Everything you need to know:
Mac OSX Snow Leopard
Premiere Pro CS6 (Production Premium)
Project imported from FCP7 XML, although I have removed all effects etc from that import. All filters and adjustements have been made in premiere.
I've copied all the clips into a new timeline, restarted premiere, rebooted, don't know what else to do.
Please help?

For the record I'm having this same problem. Scary, since I made a bunch of audio edits and lost that work.
Definitely smells like a bug. I'm using Xto7 to convert a sequence from FCP X to an XML file CS6 can read; I'm having to run both FCP X and Premiere simultaneously, since Xto7 didn't really do a good job. The problem occured when I switched back and forth between the two, and tried to relink an offline file in my Premiere project (where I am reassembling the sequence). Suddenly the sound would not play. I quit and restarted, and got the error above. Ugh.

What codec packs do you have loaded? With a straight installation I have had any problems loading my Sony AVCHD 1920 x 1080 files in any version of Premiere. What is your source of your media?

CC and Premiere Pro CS6 will not open

I have downloaded and installed the app twice.
I go into Creative Cloud and I can see Premiere Pro CS6 is an installed app but i can not click on it to run it.
At this point is have spent an hour trying to run one app.
I get no error it just does nothing.......
Just want to try it... So far it is not looking good....

What about the Program Files location? If you don't see it there, use the CC cleaner tool to uninstall the apps and then reinstall again. Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

I'll Show you that there are some sources of error:
1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:

2, Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

Adobe Premiere Pro Cs6 Will Not Open

I have an issue.
Essentially I began installing Adobe Premiere Pro, and it installed halfway before concluding it had allegedly finished installing all the updates.
This is not true as I cannot click the application in Creative Cloud, and my arrow remains as the standard cursor.
This is the second time this has happened, as I was forced to reinstall Creative Cloud and all of my Applications.
I thought a clean install would have helped the situation but it seems to have made no difference, there is no way to open this application, it merely says that it has been installed though is completely unusable.

What is your operating system?

Premiere Pro CC won't open any recent projects.

I recently installed Premiere Pro on Creative Cloud. When I started on my project, it was all working just fine. I closed my project and tried opening it again and the Premiere icon appears on the bottom of my screen and then nothing happens. After a few seconds my cursor turns into a watch and then the app closes. How do I fix this?

I was able to start up Premiere, but I was unable to open anything, recent or new without the app shutting off. It's fine, I restarted my computer and it was working fine again. Thanks for replying!

Premiere Pro CS6 Crashes after opening specific folder in my desktop

It's been two weeks now that I am experiencing this terrible problem. I am not sure if it is due to upgrading the software or anything like that. Prior to this, I have done several projects and I haven't done any major tweak in my preferences. I am using the same template or project file. Their is no other apps that are open that really could consume too much memory. Though, before I could use Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator at the same time.
Here's my hardware:
iMac 27 inch Late 2012
Processor 3.4 Ghz Intel Core i7
Memory 32 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB

Premiere CC 2014 won't open at all! Help

I cannot get Premiere to open at all. Crashes right after the splash screen. I have never opened the program before. After a couple of tries, I uninstalled Premiere CC This came off fine. Tried reopening Premiere cc2014 again. No luck. Still crashed after splash screen. Any Ideas?

Move the file amdocl64.dll to desktop and that should fix it. Let me know if this helped.

Premiere Pro CS6 won't capture HDR-HC3 properly

In HDV capture mode it wants to assign an mp3 extension.
Doesn't capture in native M2t format.
Tried reinstalling. Haven't had this problem with previous versions.

I've used numerous programs over the years so on the off chance I'm mistaken about whether Premiere Pro captures Sony HDV in m2t or mpeg, I'll take your word for it. However, you're not addressing the real problem which is that it won't capture my Sony HDR HC3 video, period, in any format. It wants to create a file with an mp3 extension and won't import the files it captures even if the extension has been changed to m2t, mpg, or mpeg. I may not be sure about the extension previous versions have captured in, but I'm 100% certain that it did capture it.

For the past few days I've been trying to understand why my video files won't play in Premiere, I'll import them, and when I press play the audio will work, but the video will play smoothly for only a few seconds then stop, skipping frames/slowing the speed of the video - I've read a lot of these forums on similar issues, then I tried converting the format to avi/mp4 and they still won't play smoothly when importing to Premiere Pro.. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong/how to solve this.. Thank you!
