Premiere Pro Registration problem.....

Hi All,
I installed Adobe Production Premium CS3 in my computer. I have Activated it using the key but not yet registered it over the net. will it stop working in 30 days? and if yes how should i activate the product.
thanking you
regards,
Yashovardhan Sharma

Registration and activation are totally different processes.
Activation is what you need to prevent the thirty day limit.
Check your Help menu for your activation status. If you cannot activate via the Internet you can call Adobe and activate over the phone.
Cheers
Eddie

  • Adobe Premiere Pro Import Problem

Let me get one idea out of the way.
NO. IT'S NOT THE DAMN CODEC, AND IT'S NOT A PROBLEM WITH EMPTY WRAPPERS.
Every time I try to import a fully functioning video (any format), Premiere Pro continues to import it as an audio file. Only when I import the clip as a sequence does it fully apply both video and audio.
No matter what version I revert to, it does the same thing. Even worse, sometimes it's the other way around! Sometimes, the picture imports but not the audio!
And this has been going for a month.
Even better: when I import the footage to After Effects or Media Encoder, it works perfectly. Full audio and solid visuals all around. I don't know what is happening.
I'm switching to Sony Vegas until further notice.
I use DVDVideoSoft to download and convert my footage (this affects nothing, however. I've tried importing a movie [The Woman] and it's done the same thing).
My computer setup is as follows:

    Hello TW,
This is a DirectX formatted movie? I don't believe that is on the list of supported formats for Premiere Pro. Interesting you were able to import it into other applications though. I wonder if the movie has a variable frame rate. I also wonder if you tried to import it via the Media Browser. Please try that instead of File > Import and retry.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

  • Premiere Pro CS4 - Problem with the monitor program.

Hi. I'm not able solving problems with the monitor using PremiereProCS4. When I drag a photo (also only one photo) in the timeline and play it in the monitor program, vision in the monitor program doesn't run:black monitor or a little part of the photo appear... sometimes distort colours. Asus P5QPRO, Intel 9550 and Sparkle Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX+ 1024 DDR3; last gpu driver and directX are installed. Different configuration of stratch disks were tested. Where am I wrong?

    Dear Bill,
thanks for your answer and your article. I tried with your NTSC 4:3 720x480 PAR 0.9 and, "magically", no more problem!!! I used the script pocedure in Photoshop CS4 to resize my images. Now, before starting my workflow and hoping not to overuse your patience, I would like to indicate you my equipment and my target: I use a Canon Eos 7D (generally for still images, 90% are vertical, and just some videos) and I use Premiere Pro CS4 to burn a dvd (normal, 4.7 Gb or double side, more than 8 Gb) with a 16.9 lcd tv (I'm Italian); my camera save as .jpg and .raw (but why use heavy .raw files if I've to redute to 720x480?!??).
So, according to your "everyone wants the highest quality that they can obtain when doing theri videos..." and "your video project may vary, so you will need to plug in the dimensions for YOUR video project in that case", I've a question: which is the best for me?
    And then:
1 - Premiere Pro CS4 havn't a batch or a script procedure for still image like PS (only for videos)!?!
2 - Premiere does'nt allow you to import images like 4.181 Kb (a too large dimension file error appears)!
3 - In the timeline of Premiere, after you dragged images, you can select them and right click to perform "resize to frame size": it seems to run good without problem, but what appen to the photo? Which is it's pixel?
4 - In the general preferences of Premiere you can to optimize rendering for "memory" or not: which is the best for you?
5 - I attached file with a screen of something strange in Premiere: dragging an image (the first of the project) in the timeline, the timeline appears distort (you can see the part in the yellow square): then, when I render the project and play in the monitor program, it becames normal.
    Thanks!

  • Premiere Pro CC Problem With PNG MOV Quicktime Format

A While Back, i posted a problem with Premiere Pro CC that it would not open MOV with a PNG Type Format. the Error was always "There is No video or Audio Stream".
Frustrated, i reverted back to Premiere Pro CS6 in which the files opened fine. i had Forgotten an effect i used in PRO CC so went pack in and surprisingly the files opened. I finished my Project and moved on until Last night, when editing, the same thing happened in Premiere Pro CC, it wouldnt impoort the PNG Format MOV files i have for traqnsitions (Rampant Media Color transistions) Curious, i again opened PPRO CS6, and low and Behold, when i re-opened PPRO CC, the files were read properly.
So there appears to be some form of Bug in PPRO CC on a windows 7 64 bit Ultimate? i can reproduce this over and over againj. i am just throwing this out there incase this happens to anyone else. hope this helps, i hope Adobe Premiere Pro CC Engineers see this and can fix this bug. thanks, have a happy too da looo, i shall blow you a fanfare!

  • Premiere Pro update problem and AME bug

After renaming the folders and emptying the Media Cache database in the Preferences I thought everything was working, that is until I exported my project to the updated Adobe media encoder. There was no audio playing back from the rendered file and my clips from the Canon 5d were missing which are not acvhd. This is a multi-cam project and the audio that was used was from the acvhd clips. Pretty weird..... So I tried exporting the project from within Premiere to bypass the AME and it worked perfect.

In AME, please go to Preferences>General and disable the Import Sequences Natively option. Then export the sequence from Premiere Pro to AME and see if the problem persists.
If this change resolves the issue, then we'll be interested in getting a copy of the project, if possible, to test with.

  • Premiere Pro CS4 - Problems with mpeg2 export file

    Hello!
I shoud get export a one videofile (mpeg2 D-10, 4:2:2) with 4 audio channels (two stereo track). Audio must be .wav and PCM. The end result shoud be on channel 1 and 2, which has music, effects and narration. Channels 3 and 4, everything else, but without narration. (tv company wants to change narration language).
The problem is that Premiere Pro cs4 connects two separate stereo tracks  to one stereo track when I export mpeg2 file. Another problem is that Premiere Pro does not accept PCM audio if  I have any multiplexing setting selected. If I select none multiplexing, audio is seperate from the video file.
I have now about 150 test clips with different settings, nothing works...So, please help me! What shoud I do? Is this possible with Premiere Pro CS4 and Adobe Media Encoder? If so, how it can be done?

I don't believe the end result is possible with Premiere Pro alone. You'll have to export out am .m2v file, and two separate .wav files.  Then look to other tools to mux them together.

  • Premiere Pro audio problem and crash

Yesterday I got an error multiple times which then led to PP crashing.
I imported an audio track, placed it in my time line, and when i went to adjust gain is when it would freeze/error/crash.

In AME, please go to Preferences>General and disable the Import Sequences Natively option. Then export the sequence from Premiere Pro to AME and see if the problem persists.

  • Premiere Pro export problems

I have been having problems exporting from Premiere Pro with my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.9. My exports have dropped frames, sometimes black, sometimes green, sometimes striped or mosaic patterns... I tried updating, I tried de-installing and re-installing. I was trying to export HD 25p but I also tried to export using sequence settings and that didn't work either. I also tried using Media Encoder. My original footage was HDV. I was initially working from a WD external drive with FW800 to thunderbolt adapter, but I've also tried working from a USB3 external drive and also from my internal drive; it makes no difference. The only "solution" I found to the problem was when I exported using a friend's computer.
Previous to this problem I had been using Premiere Pro CS6 version because that was compatible with the edit suites I had been using at my University. But my project file developed some kind of bug whereby it was expanding virtually exponentially every time it saved. So it became so large (up to 5GB) that the computer crashed whenever it tried to autosave. When I converted the project to a CC project this problem seemed to be overcome, so I continued to work with CC from my lap-top. But then I had the problems when I came to export.

i've been told by a friend that it is a render problem, not true dropped frames. the frames come out green, or striped, or mosaic-effect...

  • Premiere Pro rendering problems

I'm running CS4 Premiere Pro on an I-Mac using Snow Leopard, Intel 2.4 ghz.  I'm editing a seminar video that's about 75min long.  To start, I did some light color correcting and sharpened the picture.  Nothing much.  When I pressed "Render effects in work area" it took 8 hours(!) to render.  Afterwards I saved my project and reopened it the next day.  All the rendering was gone!  So, why does this happen?  First of all, how can it take so long for just a few simple effects, then have all the rendering disappear?  I can't just wait 8 hours at a time for every simple effect to be rendered, I'll never get the project finished.  Even more so if the effect disappears as soon as I close it.  What is happening and how can I fix it?  From looking at the forum, it may even be a known issue.  Or should I try to cut the whole thing first and then only render at the very end?  It's really a simple project, nothing like a movie, so this shouldn't be a problem for an editing program like Premiere.
I currently have 3GB RAM, but will soon add another 3GB.  Not sure if that will help much, though.
    Please advise!
    Thanks.

    [Moved to CS4 and Earlier.]

  • Serious problems with performance of Premiere Pro, no problems with AE

    Hello,
Since short, whenever I use Premiere Pro, I seem to have big problems. It is running really slow, the preview always stutters and some projects with a lot of imported files don't even load. I thought it was my computer dieing, until I started After Effects. I thought After Effects was a much tougher program for my computer to handle than Premiere Pro, but it runs just normal.
Recently, my laptop got too hot a lot of times, especially when using Premiere Pro. It shut off automatically out of safety. Maybe because it was running this program, some of the files got messed up because of the heat?
Is there anybody who knows if this is my problem or if there is another problem that I am not seeing?
    Much thanks in advance!

    Intel Core i7 CPU Q720 @ 1.60 GHz
    4.00 GB RAM
    Windows 7 64bit
    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730
Ever since the problem occurred, I have been working mostly with pictares I took. These are jpegs of 5184x3456 pixels, usually between 5mb and 9mb. The project I can't even load contains 58 of these imported images + 1 sequence.
My OS is installed on my C: partition, of which 107gb of the 116gb is used.
Premiere Pro is installed on my D: partition, as well as all the files used in my projects. On this partition 250gb of the 329gb is used.
Premiere Pro used to run really well, until about a month ago, when I started to have these heat issues.
Thank you very much for helping!

  • Premiere Pro HotKey Problems With Wacom

I currently purchased the small Intuos 4 to use with Premiere Pro and AFX, and have ran into some problems with setting up hot key combinations on the Wacom express keys.
This only happens in Premiere Pro. I've already tested this out to see if it's the tablet, but FCP does the command correctly, and I set up the same command with TypeEdit and it gave me the correct order that I made the command.
So here's the Hot Key Combination I have set up
e (mark in), b (move to next edit), r (mark out), opt+x (lift), 7(move to gap), ctrl+v(paste)
Using this in Final Cut, it works exactly as it's written from left to right. In Premiere Pro, the Move To Next Edit function goes out of order, so it reads it as follows:
    e, r, b, opt+x, and so on
The Mark In and Mark Out functions happen faster than the Move To Next Edit Function, and instead of moving an entire cut clip, it only moves 1 frame.
So my question is, is there some kind of way to fix this problem at all? Sounds crazy, but can the Mark In and Mark Out functions be slowed down somehow?
I've already tried using delayed buttons to try and separate the Mark In and Mark out from the Move To Next Edit, but it works whenever the program feels like making it work.
I've also already tried different buttons, and that doesn't work either...
This would really help out my workflow if there's a way to fix this!

    The macro is
Marking In where the CTI is, Moving to the Next Edit point, setting a Mark Out, Copying the selection between the Mark In and Mark Out, Lifting (or ripple deleting) the clip, Moving to the Previous Gap, and Pasting the Clip.
Basically it's just taking a clip from one point in the timeline, copying it, and then moving it to a gap in the timeline to continue my edit. I do my work by placing all the footage on the timeline, watching all clips, and then constructing the video from the very left, leaving 1 gap separating the actual video with the remaining footage. This way I can find footage and do the shortcut above on the keyboard without zooming out etc. Making it into one button though would definitely help save time.
It's a 7 step keystroke so bringing it down to 1 keystroke on the express keys on a Wacom Tablet would help save a lot of time.
Everything works, except the Mark In and Mark Out shortcuts. They happen faster than the Move To Next Edit shortcut, so instead of Marking an In point, and moving to the next edit, it sets a Mark In point first, and then a Mark out point which only selects one frame, and then continues with the rest of the keystroke.
Again, the hot keys happen like this:
Mark In, Mark out, Move To Next Edit Point, Lift, Move To Previous Gap, Paste
    INSTEAD of this
Mark In, Move To Next Edit Point, Mark Out, Lift, Move To Previous Gap, Paste
Completely two different keystrokes with different outcomes.

  • Premiere Pro CC problem with CUDA

Hello there, I have problem with my Nvidia GTX 560 Ti (with CUDA cores), didn't work with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, why? Because before "CC" I work on Premiere Pro CS 5,5 and there my CUDA works perfectly, is this problem came from Premiere CC? Please help me?

Try ingesting the files through adobe prelude. Convert .mts-files to DNxHD format. If there is a problem with dolby digital audio license change your camera audio record settings to PCM instead of dolby digital.
I am still getting an error with .MTS-files including dolby digital encoded audio : "This istallation does not have a license to decode Dolby Digital audio", but PCM audio works.
I have not found a sollution for that from other adobe forums:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5811748#5811748
neither the latest update made any difference.

  • HELP, Premiere Pro resample problem?

After uploading my new video (youtube.com/xniosy) people have commented about resampling. After finding out what it meant I wasn't sure if premiere pro has an equivalent or an option to disable it.
I export in H.264, custom, 1920x1080, 60FPS, maximum render ticked.
My videos are captured from my PS4 in 1080i 60FPS from my Elgato HD. If you look what iH4ck said in the comments you will see what I mean.
If anyone knows anything about this resample thing or if its just because of the actual capture quality can they please help.
    Thank you!
