Premiere Pro Title Templates Missing

I am trying to download the Preset Title Templates for Premiere Pro.
I click on the link in Premiere and get a "Webpage Cannot Be Found" error.
Is there a correct link available?

Confirmed:

is the URL one is redirected to if accessing the above link within PP CS6.

  • Free Premiere Pro title templates

Hopefully, each of us has people we look up to and admire. My #1 guy in the video world that fits that bill is Tim Kolb. He has been a source of information and inspiration for me since I first started shooting video. Not only that, but he has steered business my way as well.
Tim has a new blog and he is posting free title templates. He is about to release an entirely new type/style library also. He hasn't finalized a price, but my guess is that it will be inexpensive and a real no-brainer. It will likely be something that you buy just because it saves a bunch of time when you start creating titles.
In any case, check out his blog site here.
His older library has been available, for free, from my site for many years. You can still pick it up there. http://stevengotz.com/title_styles.html.html
    Enjoy!

    Hi Steve,
Yes, you're right. I googled free templates for Premiere Pro and After Effects and most of them are for AE. Problem is that a lot of these freebies require you to open up an account or "like" them on Facebook first.
Can you point me to some AE sites for free templates downloads?
    Much appreciated.

  • How to Install Premiere Pro Title Templates Properly

    Hi everyone.
I know this might seem like second nature to the PC iniated but I just don't have a clue how to install... well anything on a PC. I've found the content I need to install here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-missing.html
Yep I know there are instructions but I've used a mac my whole life and I just don't understand this:
1.Extract the contents of the download file to a convinient location
2.Run the .exe file to create install folders for the Encore and Adobe Premiere functional installers.
    3. Navigate to the folder for the content you want to instal and execute the installer
Can someone just talk me through how to do it. After clicking on the Windows download link I get the option to 'Open with WinRAR archiver' (I don't know what this is) or 'save file'. First things first which do I choose?
    All the best
    Kevin

  • Using the Premiere Pro Title Designer

I keep seeing lots of discussions about the limitations of the Premiere Pro Title Designer.
It seemed like a good idea to point out some of the good things about it, just to get it out there for people new to Premiere Pro, or people who have not used the Title Designer much.
Just to get a couple of things out of the way, there is a problem with the way it handles partial transparency of Photoshop files and other images with an alpha channel, and no, you still can't animate individual parts of the title without making more titles to do the job. But you can put a logo from Photoshop on its own layer, and you can animate individual titles.
That said, have you looked lately at the ease in which you can create interesting fonts and shapes? Faster and easier in a title than in Photoshop or After Effects.
Something like this for example. I would not know where to begin to make this in After Effects or Photoshop or Illustrator.
And even more interesting is that the same exact font style can be applied to a shape. Like this:
    Or this:
You can imagine how great it would look if I actually had any artistic ability!
Every time you do something to a font, you can save it as a new style in order to use it again later. In the same project, or a new one a year from now. You can group styles into libraries, you can replace the ones that came with Premiere Pro, (and get them back with a simple reset). You save the styles you use on shapes as a style.
For over a decade I have had Tim Kolb's free font styles and some templates on my web site here: http://www.stevengotz.com/title_styles.html
They are free. Have you been using them? If not, why not? And recently he has been putting more free styles on his own web site along with regularly releasing new, free, templates on his BLOG site at http://style4type.blogspot.com/
All I am saying is that if you have not looked at using the Title Designer lately, then perhaps you might want to take another look. Especially now that with Premiere Pro CC, it is so easy to make unique copies of existing titles without fear of overwriting the original.
Don't have CC? No sweat. These work with all versions of Premiere Pro as far as I can tell. (Please let me know if you discover otherwise.) The Title Designer has not changed much. Unfortunately. But it is still quite usable and I hate to see people go out and buy titling programs just to do something they could do for free in Premiere Pro.

Well, I have often wished we could animate the source text like we can in After Effects. Or wished we could have the great font style capability in After Effects that we have in Premiere Pro.
    I just can't get both.
That is why I came up with the way to create many titles from one, using a Microsoft Word macro, but I can only get it to work in English, or, rather, I can't get it to work with non-ASCII characters.
The method that was found to do it with Adobe InDesign is great, but no font styles there either.
The magic that Tim makes with his font syles and backgrounds is just too strong a reason to work completely in Premiere Pro. So making a new title from another is the only way for me to to much of what I want to do. But once I get past a couple of dozen titles or so, I use the macro.

  • "Premiere Pro CS3" is missing some codecs!

    Hi!
First of all, thanks for stoping by and read my post.
It's me first time ever using Premiere Pro CS3. I tried to some basic video editing on it, but I cannot hear any sound coming out of my laptop speakers; when i import the video clips. Even tho, I can hear them with "Windows Media Player". So, I investigated a bit and I did some of the things adviced by Adobe's knowledgebase thing.
And, I came up with a paper saying to download "MediaInfo" and "GSpot" to find out the codecs of the "mpg" files. Here is a report i made with the information given by those programs:

As you can see "Premiere Pro CS3" is missing some codecs, so my question is where can I download those?
I forgot to tell you, that I use a HP laptop Dual core Intel processor with Win Vista Home 2 GB of RAM and 160 GB of HD
    Thanks in advance
P.S. I am attaching the Diagdx.txt, even tho I don't think has to necesary
P.S. 2. I just saw another post similar to this one, but it doesn't tell you how to make "Premiere Pro" get the audio to work in my clips and finished project

Most good file converters can handle Video and Audio. If you are having issues with the Audio, both Audition and SoundBooth can convert to almost anything and any sample rate and bit depth.
Here's a LINK to the PrPro Wiki. There are links to various aspects of conversion there.
Now, remember that when working FROM MPEG-2 and also AC3, the files are compressed to begin with. Quality will suffer, and there is only one way around that - go back to the original source files. If not possible, then you have to determine if the quality has suffered too much.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Premiere Pro CC Template silent Install?

    hi guys,
I'm trying to deploy the templates for Adobe Premiere pro after the installation package created with Creative Cloud Packager (entreprise education agreement license, no problem with the Premiere Pro install.)
so I've downloaded the template as seen here
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-missing.html
and extracted them so I have the PremierePro_6_Content_LS7 folder with two subfolder Adobe Encore CS6 Functional Content and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Functional Content,
    each one containing a set-up.exe
my question is how to install those templates silently? I've tried a couple of things (set-up.exe /S; -S /silent...etc) without success.
Should I use AAME to create a silent install?
or can I just install it manually and copy the new files and folders from c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (default install folder, even if I only avec Adobe Premiere Pro CC installed it create a cs6 folder)
Or is there a command line switch I could use to silently install and accept the licence?
    thanks for any help /suggestions/advice/ideas.

hi, thanks for your answer, I used aamee to create the package, and didn't need to enter any serial as it's only a functionnal content (I saw this post after I created mine: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4642786#4642786
Now my problem is that Encore is not actually installed with the creative cloud packager, and I can't find a way to install it (please see here http://forums.adobe.com/message/5771280#5771280)
    any ideas? thanks

  • Need to create multiple Premiere Pro Titles out of a Text file

    Hi everyone !
I'm using Premiere Pro CS6. I've prepared a *.txt file (plain text) with about 70 lines (each line has 5-10 words max) and I'm looking for a way to create multiple PP Titles out of it (one Title per line) but in a "batch" manner (i.e. without having to create a new title each time and copy-paste the line-text in it, etc) as I need to end up with all 70 titles in my timeline...
Could you possiby suggest a way to do this ? Something like "importing" the *.txt file in Premiere Pro and auto-breaking it up into 70 separate titles or something ??
Many thanks in advance guys !!

yes, here is a direct link to the tutorial.
has me disappointed in adobe and in the development of software in general, but yeah, i'm following this tutorial right now: https://vimeo.com/80445034
the bummer part is -- well -- will that make the text less crisp, less clear?
also, if we are creating a lot of slides, ideally, we would have an easy way to create clear videos of our slide presentations.
i tried a bunch of slideshow tools and it is amazing to me how bad they are.
anyway, i am using this gruesome but brilliant workaround right now (the ms word, indesign, premiere combo).
as brilliant as it is to have found this kind of workaround solution -- it amazes me that adobe has such profound resources -- and these apps behave so belligerently.
    best,
    dainis

  • Premiere Pro CC is missing presets | CC Packager/Volume Licensing

We have volume license and are trying to install the CC Suite using CC Packager V1.1.
Everything seems to work fine however most of the presets are missing from Premiere Pro CC - no RED, XDCAM or AVCHD etc.
This is a problem i've seen before with trial versions etc - it's like premiere is being installed in trial mode, although all the applications appear to be fully activated.  Audition etc all work and we don't get asked to login/register or notified that the programs are running as a trial.
I've got a case open with Adobe (184479912) however I keep getting passed between the Premiere team and licensing team - they keep blaming each other and not helping me.
Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this?
Has anyone sucesfully installed the CC Suite using CC Packager and had all the Premiere presets show up?
Any ideas how i can get through to someone more helpful in the support team?
    Many thanks in advance
    Daniel

Romsinha, this does not resolve the problem. Have you found an actual solution yet?
I work for a college. We installed CCE with video serial key as you stated above. We are still missing all of the presets and codecs that we use for class. I see this has been a problem since July, why isn't it fixed yet???? This is a major problem for any large institution. Has any other schools or institutions found a solution with this issue?

  • Premiere Pro's #1 missing feature

I just sent the following FR to Adobe.  I believe it's the single biggest thing missing in PP.  If you agree that this would help your workflow, please support these ideas by reposting them in your own FRs here: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish.
Any tweaks you would suggest for an event better workflow?  Please share!
    Cheers
    FCPX and FCP7-style subclip creation
How would you like the feature to work?
    FCPX-style subclips:
    1. Ability to assign keyboard shortcuts to Bins (e.g. numbers 0-9 on keypad).
    2. While playing a clip in the Source Monitor, hitting one or more of these shortcuts would automatically send the whole clip or its marked in/out range to the linked Bin(s), without interrupting playback.
    3. For easy reference, Bins with a shortcut could display the shortcut in the Bin's name.  For example, a Bin named 'Interviews' would automatically appear as 'Interviews {1}' if associated with that shortcut.
    FCP7-style subclips:
    1. Ability to drag/drop trimmed clips from the Timeline back into one or more Bin, together with any associated effects and keyframes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to be useful, these subclips would have to maintain flexible in/out points (i.e. ability to trim in/out points out to the clip's original duration)
Why is this feature important to you?
Being able to organize/search for partial clips in the Project window is much better than doing so in the Timeline since Bins are: keyword searchable, sortable, and viewable in 2 modes (Icon or List view). But most of all, easy subclip creation would help keep the Timeline free of all non immediately-relevant media, since any clips for later use could be stored in Bins instead of in the Timeline.
The lack of any easy, flexible and intelligent subclip creation/organization in PP remains it's biggest shortcoming, IMO.  PP's current method of creating subclips - that can't be created on the fly from the Source Monitor, can't contain imbedded effects/keyframes, and can't have flexible in/out points - is of little real world use.
Adding FCPX and FCP7-style subclip creation/organization in Premiere Pro would make editing easier for most, if not all, editors: including documentary filmmakers with lots of footage to sort, music video editors who want to store B-roll clips for later use, FCP editors migrating to PP, and on and on!

Biggles, you've just proven my point by saying that you haven't used subclips in the last 15 years of using Premiere.  Thank you!  I haven't either.  That's as good an indication as any that subclips in PP are worthless due to their hard in/out points, as mentioned several times before.
As I said, sometimes you don't know what you're missing until you see or get it.  I didn't know the organizational tools I've been missing out on myself until I tried FCPX.  But as I made rather clear, FCPX's genius organizational abilities are where that program's genius ends, IMO.  So FCPX is a no go, despite it's brilliant keywording features.
I'm sorry you and certain others on these forums see my honest effort to see PP improve as a 'rubbishing' of Premiere and it's users.  I choose the path of offering FRs, and thoughtful, relevant discussion rather than unwarranted attacks/assumptions (e.g. your assumption that since you personally have never used subclips in 15 years, Adobe's resources would be better spent elsewhere than improving this feature that never worked properly).  Where some see opportunity, as I do in some amazing tricks FCPX has shown us are possible, others see problems (added programming work for Adobe, etc).
Having seen several users jumping the gun with  accusations and  assumptions, I'm beginning to question if users on these forums are more interested in seeing Premiere Pro improve, or defending Adobe and themselves against the truth that there's still a ton of room for improvement.
When those who dedicate lots of time to offering well elaborated FRs are told by a forum member 'just leave', you've got to wonder what's their motivation.  As Cypher in The Matrix says, "Ignorance is bliss".  You can't feel the lack of what you don't know exists, so I can understand a certain resistance to new ideas, however better they may be to the old paradigm.  Resistance to change and improvement is a historic fact: it happened with cars (i.e. resistance to 'horseless carriages'), and sadly it happens in every industry, to this very day... including Adobe software.

  • Premiere Pro CC and missing audio tracks for .mts files

    Hello guys,
I used to edit my .mts files with Premiere Pro CC without any issues until yesterday.
Now I import my .mts file (made with a Sony VG900) but Premiere doesn't recognize the audio tracks (that I can hear just fine with VLC).
I tried changing the extension in .m2ts but it didn't work, I also tried reinstalling Premiere but, again, it didn't work and I tried (I was desperate) to install Premiere CS6 just to check if maybe the problem was just about the CC version. Guess what? It didn't work...
I tried also converting the file with Encoder in .mp4 but after the conversion I can't hear the audio with VLC and, of course, it doesn't work on Premiere.
Do you think it's a Premiere issue or a file problem?
I used those same files for other videos (like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1X5vsZ-5yI) and I had no problems. Then I updated Premiere, I moved the files in other folder and the problem came to life.
    Any idea?
(I'm waiting for my colleague to send me a new mts file just to check if I accidentally damanged the old ones).

    A similar problem here..... although......
Take a look at this screenshot
As you will see, the blue marked audio is repeated audio of less than on sec. Certainly not the way it has been recorded.
I think I've got the answer........ (working with Premiere Pro CC, always up to date, Mac OX 10.9.2; Camera: Sony HXR NX3)
    1. Don't copy but clone your flash card to the location where to edit on your hard drive. At the same time: alt+click on external flash card, draw it onto your hard drive location.
(or use carbon copy cloner, which I use for backup and transferring avchd files).
    2. Don't import regularly via the import dialogue box (cmd-i). Instead: use the mediabrowser browser, locate the map "private" (as often standard named),
    3. Via cmd-a (select all): select all videofiles.
    4. click right mouse button and select import.
This way, all the video and audio files will be imported.
If however you have alreade re-used your camera flash card for recordings and don't have access to the 'corrupted' files to be imported into your project, you won't be able to solve the problem. You just lost some of the essential data which were not copied onto your Mac.
This solution I found for my problem may well be the one you are looking for........
Another solution might be to convert the compressed avchd - before importing into your project - into uncompressed .mov filed. However...... you will lose data so this is not exactly what I would prefer if the former described workflow does fix the problem for you.
Please let me know if this works for you or not.
    Good luck!
    Regards,
    Peter

I've installed additional orchestral content and the Orchestral and Music for Picture templates are still unavailable. Am I missing something?
Custom templates also do not appear when I save them.
    Logic Pro X 10.0.7
    Mac OS X 10.9.4
    Macbook Pro Late 2011

Is it supposed to be for 7 string guitar? You'll have to read this:
    http://help.apple.com/logicpro/mac/10/#lgcp204e230e
and especially the chapter Determine the string assignment. It sometimes does react strangely (like not showing E6) I must admit. Start a new project in score mode and try to enter a scale from the lowest string up to the highest string. Now change midi channels, in the event editor, observing how this provokes different possibilities of identical notes on the fretboard.
    Have a nice day!
