How so i get direct Access to the Music/pics stored on NAS

How so i get direct Access to the Music/pics stored on a Buffalo Link Station Live with my iPad without using a App? The NAS is conected with a Router. Privatfreigabe (dont know the english Word) is ok. The iTunes Server on NAS is activated. Nö Problem to get Access from iTunes on PCs.
I just want to use the preinstalled Musik/Photo App to Listen/watch my Music/pics stored on the NAS without losging them on the iPad. Streaming is what i think of.

Can you set a single FILEGROUP to READONLY without getting exclusive access to the entire DB?

I'm in the process of building a partitioned table with a sliding-window partition. I have several years of historical static image data that will be moved to individual filegroups created to hold year's worth of data each. The Business
requires that the last 60 days of images be updateable, everything older needs to be readonly which simplifies the backup process.
Since the PRIMARY filegroup is always READWRITE, I'm going to use the PRIMARY filegroup for the upper range of my partition to allow users to make necessary modifications to images in this 60 day window. On a nightly basis, I'm going to run
a process that changes the upper range on the partition to the daterange = (getdate() - 60). The 61st day moves seamlessly from PRIMARY filegroup to my 2013FileGroup in milliseconds.
The process runs almost flawlessly, however, I'd like to change the FILEGROUP to READ-ONLY after moving the data to the archive partition. In my process, I can quickly switch this archive filegroup to READWRITE and run the Partition MERGE \ SPLIT to
change my upper range and move records between partitions. However, I cannot change the FILEGROUP back to READ_ONLY without getting exclusive access to the entire database to save the change.
Is there any way to set a single FILEGROUP to read-only quickly without setting the entire DB to SINGLE-USER with ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE? I've tried the WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE on the ALTER DB statement to modify the filegroup without any success.
I need WRITE access for a matter of seconds before setting it back to read only. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm dealing with a TB of data, a full restore could take 60+ hours to recover the entire db. However, doing partial backups on the READWRITE portion of the DB is done quickly and I can get the business back online quickly by recovering the
PRIMARY filegroup and then restore readonly filegroups in the background. If I can't change these filegroups to read-only on the fly, I may have to maintain more backups for extended periods of time and may need to wait for maintenance windows to set
filegroups to READONLY.

Project Lite License for Team Members not giving access to the PWA

Hi there - So here is my issue I am having with Project Online 2013. I am new to project server ( I mean project online) & really having fun with it but MSFT can make it a bit easier to the Users.
So we brought the following 2 licenses
1) Project Lite for Team Members ( Brought this license after getting answer from previous question posted by me at Previous
thread )
2) Project Online with Project Pro for Office 365.
So I am able to access the PWA for my Portfolio Managers, Project Managers etc., Now I tried giving access to the Team Members and as directed by MSFT I added them to the group "Team Members for Project Web App ".
I created some tasks in project schedule and assigned the tasks to the Team Members and published them.
Now when My Team Members try too access the PWA Site , they are not able to access it.
1 ) When trying to access the ( http://tenant.sharepoint.com/PWA/Default.aspx) which is the home page I am seeing a webpart error with correlation ID.
2) When trying to access the Task through (http://tenant.sharepoint.com/PWA/Tasks.aspx ) where you see the tasks, the page gives me " Sorry you don't have access to this page"
So now my question is how do I give access to my Team Members so that they can work on the tasks assigned to them in the PWA.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Srabon,
We can set the "Target Audience" property of web part to group maintaining restricted read users. By this, the web part will be shown to specific users only.

How to Find Out a Project Build Team Member's Level of Access to The Project's Site/Workspace

We're seeing issues where a Project's Build Team's Members are losing access to the related Project Workspace, so I'd like to find out/display if members of that Build Team have access to the related Workspace.
I can utilize a call to the Project.svc ReadProjectTeam method to get the team members, but I'm drawing a blank on how to return each of the team members relevant access to the underlying Project Workspace. I've been wandering through the Security.svc,
but that only shows information for current user.
What would be the recommended way to get/return a given resource's level of access to a Project Workspace?

You could simply view the associated security groups in the workspace to double-check the membership. This forum answer should provide you with the requisite information to find the correct security groups in the SharePoint Site.

Ethernet Access in the Prague

My son is in Prague taking college classes for the next 6 weeks and has been unable to get Internet access via the Ethernet in his dorm in Prague. There are actually 2 other MAC users in his group of students who have been able to connect. When he opens Network System Prefs he sees the TCP/IP address and things look OK. Is there anything in particular I can have him check that would disallow him from seeing the internet?

Find out the condition Type for output VAT Tax .
Once Condition type is noted , go to Access sequence for the same and REMOVE REQUIREMENT 008 ( Applicable for Export Business Only ) . Because this requirement is not met , the condition is not getting captured in Pricing

If it has an Airport card fitted, yes.
It's very likely it already has, but to be certain, go to the Apple menu > "about this Mac" > More info
Under Network in the left pane you'll see Airport' select that and it'll tell you what card is fitted (if any).
You should also have in the menu bar on the right a pie-slice type symbol; click that and you'll get the option to switch on airport if it's present.
You'll need to set it up in Network Preferences to connect to your wi-fi router.

Early Access File Syncing

I have received an email message advising that I have been given early access to the Files syncing feature of the Adobe CC application.
However, clicking on the Files tab does not show a workable interface, only the old "Coming Soon" statement. I have downloaded and installed the latest version of the CC application onto my Apple MacPro, but clicking on the "Files" tab does not show a window that looks like anything shown on the FAQ sample page discussing the file sharing function.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

First of all, to answer your question, yes, I only have one Adobe ID.
The problem has been solved, since the Files tab in my Adobe CC application started functioning normally yesterday.

It is a Total Misconception that the Support files are installed when you are installing Windows, even if the USB drive that holds them is inserted in the system when doing the Windows install.
You must always Run the Setup.exe files from the support files or run the drivers individually once Windows has finished installing and booted to the desktop.
Also you really need to run the Boot Camp Control Panel Applet and check for updates as not all the newest drivers for full function of all the hardware is included with the original support download. That download is basically a generic version to get the system working and without doing the updates not everything will work properly.
