Premium subscription and calling landlines

I have a premium subscription and I cant call landlines when I try it says must add credit or buy a subscription!!! Whats going on!!!!

Did you pick a specific country for your unlimited calling to landlines? If so, which country? And what number are you trying to reach (omit the last 4 digits - we don't need to see the full number).
The problems may be related to the number you are trying to reach. If the number is a mobile number, it would not be covered by Skype Premium. You'd have to either have Skype Credit on your account, or purchase an additional subscription to cover calls to mobile phones in a particular country (if a subscription is available for that country). These numbers are usually referred to as "special service" or "shared cost" numbers. They may be landline phones, but with different rate structures. Examples of these include 0845 and 0870 numbers in the UK and 13 and 1300 numbers in Australia. These special numbers are only reachable using Skype Credit. You can usually see what some of these numbers are when you look at the "pay as you go" link at the bottom of this page, and select specific countries.

Premium Subscription and USA Subscription interact...

I have three subscriptions: 60 minutes to the USA, 120 minutes to Germany and recently purchased a Skype Premium subscription. WHen I call Germany, the German subscription is consumed. WHen I call the USA, the Preium, not the USA subscription, is consumed first. I would like the USA subscription ot be consumed first and when either of the Subscriptions run out, then consume the Premium. What do I need to do?

Premium subscription to call bangladesh

I was using unlimited premium subscription to call Bangladesh for last 3 months.I paid it through paypal for security reasons.When I purchased my last premium subscription at 12th of this month, i found that I been considered as a new subscriber.I purchase just after 5 minutes of subscription expires that is 12.05 am on next day.Now, skype offers me refund but denied to consider as an old subscriber.I dont know that they are going to cancell the subscription, its really frustrating. I am really upset with their customer service...

1. Please note that Bangladesh is no longer a detination on the Premium list of countries. To call Bangladesh you need either a specific Bangladesh Subscription of Skype Credit.
2. Electronic systems work in fractious of a second so 5 minutes is an electronic lifetime.

Subscription for calling landlines and voicemail options?

I was wondering if i got a skype number if people would be able to call me and leave me messages in the same fashion as a typical landline and answering machine, and if they can is there a limit for the ammount of voice messages i can receive? Also if they can leave messages when i am not logged into skype? I need to know because I am going to be transcribing reports for a relative and he would need to leave me multiplie messages a day and he would need to be able to leave me a voice message at any time. If you purchase Landlines and Mobiles subscription then both landlines and mobiles are charged the same way.
I would recommend purchasing both subscription because then when you call landlines number Skype will automatically use Landlines subscription and when calling mobiles then Skype will use Landlines and Mobiles subscription.
Keep in mind that if subscription for landlines runs out then still landlines and mobiles subscription is used. Choose the amount of minutes based on which numbers you call the most.

Skype Unlimited World Subscription and Call Forwar...

I have a Skype number and a U.S. Canada subscription. When I try to forward to a local number, I am told that I need Skype Credit or a Subscription. But I have a subscription.
I have tried this from both the browser and the windows desktop app. I have the latest version installed.

You will purchase single country monthly plan for Latvia or Skype Credit.

Premium subscription and video groups on iPad

I just paid for a Premium subscription so that I could have video group conferences. There does not seem to be a way to do it on an iPad--is this correct? I read everything I could find on the Skype web site prior to making the purchase and I saw nothing that said it would not work with an iPad. Clarification, please?

Have Premium Subscription and Cannot Group Call

I have premium and cannot conduct group calls. I am on a mac and use a pc too...neither one works.
I cannot form groups and I cannot add to a video call that I am on.
Anyone have a way to contact Skype for this. I am considering canceling my credit card payment as this is most frustrating. I never had a problem until now but I haven't conducted a group call in a few months.

Also, you website is out of date, I originally signed up because it said I could upload unlimited for the first month and then a 50 photo restriction thereafter however once I signed up I saw I had a 2 Gig limited opposed on my account. This is false and misleading commercial advertising. However I mad my peace with it, however paying for something (a cloud service of all things) and to not have that reflected in my current account is very disappointing to say the least.

Calling landline with premium

I had a subscription for calling landline in Mexico-Monterrey. It worked fine. Then I realized I could do the same thing with a premium account with country choice of Mexico, so I canceled my mexico subscription and bought premium. Now, I can not call my landline contact in Mexico/Monterrey. What gives? What do I need to do, cancel my 1 year premium payment and restore my subscription??? Will my $60.00 be refunded???

Some subscriptions and/or Limited Minute plans are offered by your location, so it's best to check here: http://www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/pay-monthly
That said, in many cases there are two types of limited minute plans, one includes landlines only the other both landlines and mobiles.
You can combine whatever you wish. You could have subscriptions, limited minute plans and Skype credit combinations.
If a call is not covered by a subscription or a limited minute plan, then it will use Skype credit to cover the call.
