I have purchased a 12 month prepaid subscription of Adobe Photoshop CS6. How/where do I find the download and install software?

After the order processes you are generally sent an email with instructions on how to download? Did you get anything like that?

What is the difference between a single app subscription for Photoshp CS6 and Photoshop CC?

The difference lies in between the version.
Initially the Creative Cloud was released with the then running current version which was CS6, Creative Cloud comes with a feature of self upgrade at no extra cost.
Photoshop CC is the upgraded version of Photosho CS6, in future the upgrades will be done autmatically.
This will help a user to have the upgraded automatically as long as the user has an active subscription.

I purchased a subscription to Photoshop CS6

I am unable to download it to my mac. I click on the download button in my adobe account where my order says it has been purchased and shows the order number. It brings me to the trial downloads page, and when I click on the photoshop CS6 icon I have 2 choices - trial or more info. I click trial and my browser can't load the page because the address starts withsomething like aam:/ instead of http:/. Very frustrating. I have photos to edit and not much time to do it. I am unable to find a straightforward place to download the app that I have purchased a subscription to.

Please try logging into https://creative.adobe.com/ with the Adobe ID tied to your subscription. You should then be able to download and install the Adobe Application Manager from there and then download and install Photoshop. You can find details on how to download and install at http://forums.adobe.com/message/4396277#4396277?tstart=0.
If you continue to have difficulties please try using a different web browser.

Photoshop cs6 subscription won't download.

I just bought the one-year subscription for Photoshop cs6. When I click on download it takes me to the creative cloud account page and nothing downloads. The website that it takes me to when I click download is https://creative.adobe.com/apps

Please login on www.creative.adobe.com using your adobe ID and password.
you will be directed to a page where you will have all the applications to download.
Alternatively you can install AAM(Adobe application Manager) . AAM will help you to download your Photoshop cs6 .

Mac OSX Photoshop CS6 keep asking for serial number

Hi, I don't know why, but since few days ago, my photoshop CS6 started to pop up with the trial message and ask me to enter serial number. However, I'm on a one year subscription for photoshop CS6 only, there is no serial number.
I opened the software, and choosed "lincese this software" and then signed in with my adobe ID. After that, the message ask me for serial number. This didn't happen before.
My systme is :
Now it says I only have one day for the trial. Please help me to resolve this.

@CKPAD.co - The Adobe ID you are using to post here has never signed up for the Creative Cloud, not even a free/trial account. Are you using a different Adobe ID for a Creative Cloud subscription? If not this would be the correct behavior. The 30 day trial ends and you can either puchase a perpetual license (serial number) or a Creative Cloud subscription.

Photoshop CS6 and CC

I use Photoshop CS6 via single app monthly subscription and I bought Lightroom 4 outright, and this gives me a fully integrated PS/ACR/LR workflow.
I've also been using the LR5 Beta since it was first available and will be upgrading to the full version as soon as its available.
However, I seem to have been asleep or something because I've suddenly had PS CC sprung on me this morning and it's got me confussed.
I gather that if I want to maintain my "fully integrated" LR/ACR/PS workflow under Lightroom 5 then I'll need to switch from CS6 to CC - I take it this will be the only way I can have identical controls in ACR 8 and LR5 ?
Have I got this right?
If so, can I switch my monthly CS6 subscription to a monthly CC subscription, or is it not quite that simple?

Yeah, you can have a desktop subscription to Photoshop CS6 independent of your exisiting license. The subscription would allow you to install on two more computers, that would allow you to install on a total of four different computers.

Subscription installs PS CS6 Extended, but I ordered just CS6

Hi,
I just purchased a subscription of Photoshop CS6. I get a link to the Application Manager and clicks Photoshop CS6 to install it. When I launch the installed application I can see that it has installed the extended edition of PS CS6 for which I have not purchased a license. The only option I get is to use the PS CS6 extended edition in trial mode (naturally). How do I get access to the non extended PS CS6 edition?

Extended vs. Standard is solely determined by the serial and al ltrials will run as Extended. So far nothing unusual. if the license doesn't take, you might wanna have a look at this:

The Photoshop individual license allows you to install the program on two computers. However, the programs cannot be used simultaneously. A quick note: the two computers must be running on the same platform. For example, you can install on two Macs, or two Windows machines, but you can't install on one Mac and one Windows machine.
Here's a quote from the from the Photoshop CS6 terms and aggreements:
2.1.3 Portable or Home Computer Use. Subject to the important restrictions set forth in Section 2.1.4 [having to do with volume licensees], the primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed … may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.

How do I download my subscription to PS CS6

I bought a year subscription to Photoshop CS6, and everything went alright, but when I clicked Download it took me to Apps & Services and I have no idea where I should go from there.

On the apps and services just find the program that you want to install then click the download button under it. It would then download the Adobe Application Manager, then ask you to sign in with your Adobe ID and Password and then the application will manager the download and installation on its own.

My wife bought me a 3 month subscription card to CS6 last year. I've yet to scratch it off and redeem it. I was wondering what would happen if I tried. Photoshop CS6 installation failing with Creative Cloud Subscription

I have a Creative Cloud subscription and I am having trouble installing Photoshop CS6 with the Adobe Application Manager. The application will download but when installing it gives me an Installation Failed error with the message "The download appears corrupted. Press Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again (-60)"
I am using a Macbook Pro 17" i7 8GB with Mac OSX 10.7.3.
When I look at the DLM_Native.log file using the Console I get a whole bunch of errors like the following.
[ERROR] | 7B2C1C2F-AC72-4B17-9D58-C9BC80BC9A07 | | | | | | Checksum validation failed for segment 510
[WARN] | 7B2C1C2F-AC72-4B17-9D58-C9BC80BC9A07 | | | | | | Some Error has come during download operation with Error type - -60, and Error Code - 417
I have about 60GB of free hard drive space, so I know I am not running out of space for installation.
I do not see an alternative way of downloading other than the Adobe Application Manager. If I go to my orders page on Adobe.com and click download for Photoshop CS6 it just opens the Application Manager and begins downloading from there.
I have downloaded and installed Illustrator and Flash Professional using the Application Manager without issue.

Thanks for the quick response Jeff. I wonder if there's something else going on. All the other apps (Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver et al) downloaded and installed to the same location (Applications folder) no problem using the application manager. When I tried to use the download manager to download Photoshop separately, the download destination was set to the desktop, while logged in with administrator privileges. The .dmg downloaded without any apparent problems but generated a checksum error warning when I tried to expand it. I tried several times, had antivirus and Little Snitch turned off, tried again after restarting etc. to no avail.
Interestingly, my colleague experienced the exact same problems on his (Mac) system, which is running same OS.
I got around all this by downloading Photoshop from the CS6 direct download page using the link you provided, for which many thanks.
