Prepare MM certification + eAcademy or not ?

Hello everybody,
I try too choose between taking the SAP eAcademy and preparing the certification or not.
My SAP resume is :
- 1,5 year as an MM consultant focused on material masters
- 3 year as an ABAP developer
- abut 1,5 year of other functions such as EDI, PS functional, MMPPWM support
I'm already freelance and it's difficult for me to find MM positions cause all that people see when looking at me y resume is ABAP knowledge. The point is : if find a position on ABAP, I do more ABAP, I do more ABAP, there is less chance to find MM position.
So, I'm looking for the best strategy to apply MM position with sucess and think about preparing MM certification by taking the SAP eAcademy course. Do you think this course will really be helpfull priori for a MM position ? Do you think it is quite a good argument to help find MM positions or is it just a loss of money and time ?

Each answer carry marks. If u opt wrong one as right then u'll not get marks for that answer.
Some useful info's.
while reading if u dont know the answer just mark it on the white paper. Dont spend time on R&D. at end u mark ur guess..
While reviewing dont change the answer. Initially ur mind might be fresh... while reviewing lot of confusions will arise. So dont change answers in the end.
read thoroughly the Book... dont bother about tcode and configuration sort of issues.
Read the question carefully. That is very very important. For sample i'll share one example.
1. Which of the following functions are false?
a. Purchasing information record links a material to the customer.
b. partner functions can be entered in inforrmation record
c. Pricing scales can be entered in information record
d. The source list is maintained at material / companycode level
e. sourcelist can include external vendors as well as plants
Try to find the answer.

Do as much as possible exercises based on your course material(which will be more than enough).
If you know (some) Java and have understand the basics of OOP then this is enough for the exam.
And do not forget:
it is a multiple-choice test meaning that you see the possible answers.
Either a single answer is correct (then you will have radio-buttons) or several answers are correct
(then you will have checkboxes; in this case almost all questions will have more than one correct answer).

You don't need to do extensive coding in OOPS.

When there is both a OCE and an OCS certification for a subject, I strive to stick with the OCE.

I don't actually qualify for your first condition since my employer is an Oracle Partner. That said, I don't take OCS exams in order to gain gold stars for my employer.
OCS exams are the least technically-oriented of the certification types. They are aimed at salespeople and integrators that need to be able to talk about Oracle products and sound reasonably well-informed in doing so. The exams I've taken have all been much more focused towards the fact that a given feature exists and the functionality it has than with implementing said feature in the real world. That is not to say that the information you have to learn to pass OCS exams is not valuable. It's good to know what the capabilities of Oracle products are. I have been asked by my current and former employers about the advisability of incorporating feature 'X' into our solutions. Preparing for OCS-level exams can give you insight into how (or if) given capabilities of Oracle products can help (or not) in a given situation.
That said, OCP and OCE certifications are much more valuable when you actually want to learn how to make use of the various Oracle technologies.

Using Hyper-V 2012 r2, connecting to the console results in: A certification authority could not be contacted for authentication.

I'm having some trouble with authentication to guests from my Hyper-V console.
If I try to connect from the Hyper-V Manager to the console of any guest, I get the error:
"A certification authority could not be contacted for authentication. If you are using a Remote Desktop Gateway with a smart card, try connecting to the remote computer using a password. For assistance, contact your system administrator or technical support."
I'm not using an RDG and smart card.
I have 2 virtual networks. The first is Production, the second is Isolated. Production has 2 NICs attached to the Production LAN, the second has 2 NICs in our DMZ. The host is a member server of the production domain. I can use MSTSC from the LAN or the DMZ
to gain access to each Guest and the Host.
The issues start if I try "Connect" from Hyper-V Manager in an attempt to use the console of any Guest. Each attempt fails with the above error. If I use an incorrect password, I get a different error: "The credentials that were used to connect
to {Server FQDN} did not work. Please enter new credentials."
Taking a look at the the event logs, I can see the session successfully authenticating to the Guest (4776 Credential validation and 4624 Logon), and the fact I get a different error if I enter an incorrect password show I get some way along the line. However
if I take a look at the logs on the Host, however I get:

   This event is generated when a logon request fails. It is generated on the computer where access was attempted.

Which looks to me like a blank authentication request is being sent? (I've not deleted any machine/domain names, they're just not present)

Help! Photos Library copied to external hard drive, but after preparing the library I can NOT see any pictures.

I am having a tough time and searched, but have not found an answer that works. Last night I copied my iPhoto Library to an external hard drive because when I initially attempted to set up Photos, I got an error that said I needed 88 GB of space for the transfer. I got the iPhoto Library onto the hard drive and reopened the app and it prepared the library. It was talking forever, so I went to bed. This morning, I have this screen...
There are NO pictures in the actual app. I went to the external hard drive and see that the Photos Library exists...
I have tried to hold command and option and restart Photos and I did get a prompt that it was repairing; however, this was unsuccessful. Please help! I know the photos are there because when I show package contents, I see them all in my Masters/Old Masters folders.

Agree with baltwo, though even if you have saved the install app I wouldn't use it unless its been used to install a known good copy of the OS already.
In your case, that probably means start fresh:
Restart the computer, holding down 'command' and 'r'. When the recovery disk window shows, choose 'Reinstall Mac OS X'.

I have tried commented either MyRow.checkRule1 or MyRow.checkRule2 for execution. No error occurs for that. The problem occurs when i put the two together in a loop ... the parameter number for Pkg1.MyFunctionOne is less than Pkg2.MyFunctionTwo, which corresponds to the error message 'Bind variable does not exist' ... any cache for calling the function that causes the error at running the vo.executeQuery statement?
Question: Does anyone has any ideas about the error origin and solution? (It is very important to me because i still have several check rules in addition to those mentioned 2 rules.)

It works, but quite strange ... is it a bug for calling the interface setWhereClauseParam(int, object)? As long as all the bind variables have value (your bind-var array is filled perhaps due to previous setWhereClauseParam, the query will work. What's critical is you get the right query every time :)

Trust ALL root Certifications in Windows not working for non-Admins on Terminal Server

I have been trying to setup a verification process that will allow us to us Active Directory Certifications to verify signatures. I have finally found the setting to use the Windows Store after not getting Adobe to query our Certificate Authority. It works great on our local desktop where users have Admin access, but when users do it on our Terminal Server it does not allow it. I thought the issue was access to a configuration file in the Adobe directory, but I found the setting in the Registry set correctly. But does not work correctly. One additional note is I had noticed that after I enabled it on a Non-Admin, is Adobe would say it crashed after I shut it down.
My question is what type of privilege do you need, or maybe Adobe need to access the Windows Cert Store from a Terminal Server with a non-Admin because it is not validating after confirming the Setting is enabled.

those would be the auto-updates provided by mozilla directly - so i'm not sure if this is something that would fit in your environment. installing the .exe file of a new version (available at [https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/]) on top of an older version will also update the program.

I have cleared my C_THR12_64 last month, the best way is to go through the THR10 & 12 materials and based on your experience you can clear the exam successfully.
Moreover, you can go through couple of Exam questions available in Rapidshare.

Ipad 2 stuck on preparing to update and now not recognised in itunes

Firstly my ipad had some songs with lighter colour, if i played that song i would skip to next song. After that when i add songs, video, pdf to my ipad it would stuck on preparing to update. Though i could add files in the app's folder. Now itunes is not recognising the ipad when connected with usb, but shows up in itunes as wireless sync. It shows up in windows explorer. Same thing with my ipod shuffle 4. When i connect ipod shuffle, itunes says syncing ipod, ipod sync compeleted but i cant see the ipod under devices. I have compeletely reinstalled itunes as instructed in the apple's support page and restarted my laptop ( win x64).
I have checked the photo sync and deleted the videos as mentioned in the thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2769353?start=0&tstart=0
But no luck, please help me, i would try restoring my ipad but i don't want to lose the allofwiki dump file.

I have not received my certificate yet. On certiview.oracle.com it shows that it was shipped on 18/Aug/2011. But I have not received it yet.
My address on certiview.oracle.com(PERSONAL INFORMATION) is showing my old address, after I merge my old prometric id on 18/aug/2011.
But the certificate shipped to the right address on 18/aug/2011.
Moderator could you help.

-ArunTake 'Shipping' as meaning we have sent a request to the packagers to prepare your success kit and post it ... ( not that it is in the post). For practical purposes consider that the packagers operate like wallace and grommit and theywill eventually get the thing in the post). It then need to be put on the Himsagar Express which will probably derail.
So it will take 4 to 6 o 8 weeks to reach you from the 'SHIPPED' date. Patience is needed.

Certification Success Kit Not Received yet

I have cleared my OCA certification on 9th March 2013. I have enrolled for the Certification Success Kit on 10 March 2013.
But till date i have not received my Success Kit. I can see the shipping status as 1st Shipping till date. I have also logged service request twice but no answer for request.
so when i can received my certification success kit?
Please provide me status of my Success kit as soon as possible.

You didn't give a date for the 1st shipping date or either of the service requests, so I can't say whether it is unusual that you have not received the kit or gotten a response to the SRs yet. Since you passed the exam on March 10th, I would have expected the certificate to arrive by late April or early May. However, I recently shipped one of my books to a gentleman in Russia that helped with the editing. It took three months to arrive... so I have some personal sympathy for Oracle's certificate plight.
SRs should be answered within 3-5 business days if you have supplied them with a good email address. If you do not get a response within that timeframe, you can put the SR #s in here and the forum moderator can check on their status.

Time Machine "prepares" slowly and then does NOT complete B-U.

Since Christmas day, I've had a Time Machine problem. First it takes about 40 minutes to "prepare" to back-up and then it only backs-up 15gb out of 105gb.
And the animated icon keeps rotating for hours without completing the task. Could someone please share their knowledge on how I might be able to fix this issue? It would be greatly appreciated.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

HT4623 iphone 4 I am trying to install iOS6.0.1 the install is stuck in "preparing to update" and will not move forward. How do I stop the install.

I am trying to install iOS6.0.1 on my iphone4 and it is stuck on "preparing to install" How do I stop the instal?????

I'm not sure iCloud is the best community to post that question in, to be honest I have the feeling it's likely something best asked from any M$ discussion groups that there might be.
