Ive been waiting like 2-3 days for an update on my ship to store ibuypower desktop.... Thats not very specific... Its still just "preparing"

  • Pre-order releases tomorrow and item has still not shipped. Stuck in Preparing Order

    Hello I preordered Final Fantasy Type-0 (PS4) back in September and chose in store pick up. Last week I changed my order from in store pickup to express shipping. I was told I would receive the game by Tuesday, however I still haven't gotten any e-mails confirming that the item has shipped and my order status still says my order in the "preparing order" stage. I'm very worried I won't be receiving my item on time now.

    Thank you for visiting the forum. Pre-orders are always a great way to ensure you get your favorite games by the release date. I can understand your concern that the order status is showing that it hasn't shipped yet, and you won't get it in time. 
    Using the e-mail you registered on the forum, I was able to locate the order, and it looks like it has shipped. You should have receive an e-mail confirming this, along with the tracking information.

  • Order stuck in preparing order

    i purchased http://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-xtreme-desktop-intel-core-i7-8gb-memory-2tb-hard-driv...  on saturday night around 7 and it went to preparing order and i thought first thing monday it would ship out, now being tuesday it is still stuck in preparing order status it is supposed to arrive tomorrow and if it doesnt get here tomorrow you wont ever see me buying anything again at best buy.

    There are numerous reasons that an order may not ship right away, including processing or shipping from a partner vendor directly to you.   • Preparing Order for Pickup?

    Just curious if this means the store has the item already and is just preparing it or what? On the 28th I ordered a CyberPowerPC - Gamer Ultra Desktop - AMD FX-Series - 16GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive - Black/Blue and just ship to store, the status went from Proceesing to Preparing item for pickup. Was just curious as to if they have it already or what this actually meant? Also i believe the order may have been placed thru a vendor and not Best Buy themselves, if this is true, will I still be provided a tracking number when it does ship? Thanks for your time and help!

    I’m not much of a gamer myself, but I am rather excited for you to get your hands on a gaming specific computer. My younger brother has one on his wish list, and he swears the graphics card alone makes it well worth the purchase. It’s disappointing to hear your order is processing slower than anticipated though, and I’m sorry for any confusion our order status updates may be causing.
    While “preparing for pickup” usually means we are in the process of securing your order, I did pull up your purchase using the email address attached to your forum profile to see if I could provide you some additional details. Upon review, it seems we do not have your computer readily in stock, and we are collaborating with a vendor partner of ours in order to fulfill your order. Please know you should receive an email to notify you when it’s ready for in-store pickup, but our systems show the current estimated arrival date for your computer is 8/7/15.
    Having said this, I’ll be sure to keep an eye on your order to provide you status updates as they become available. Feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions in the meantime though.

  • Status of "Preparing Order" but it's supposed to be delivered today...

    I placed my order on 11/12. It didn't list the product as backordered and said I would receive it by 11/14 if I paid the $25 for expedited/overnight shipping.
    I assumed the only way they could offer this is if the item was in stock.
    Can anyone from BB.com check my order and provide some insight?

    Seven days is an awfully long time to wait for an order update, so I can imagine why you'd be concerned! Like you, I'd expect updates to provided in a more timely fashion and would be disappointed in the event they were not.
    I was able to locate your account using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and was able to confirm that your order is expected to ship sometime later today. We'll let you know as soon as tracking details are available, so please make sure to keep an eye on both your inbox and junk mail folders for additional communication. Please also keep in mind that it can sometimes take several hours for UPS and USPS' respective tracking pages to reflect the latest information, so the package's progress may not be immediately viewable.

  • Order online seems to be stuck "preparing order"

    Processing should only take one day, but with my purchase (CyberPowerPCGamer Xtreme Desktop Intel Core i3 8GB Memory 500GB Hard DriveGXI3600B) I'm very excited to get this computer as it's a major upgrade for gaming, but it seems to be stuck somewhere and unable to be shipped. 
    I recently ordered a video card to the same address and it processed in one day just fine, so I'm wondering what the problem could be

    I just recently purchased a computer from Best Buy myself and I know how excited I was waiting for it to process and ship.
    These particular computers actually come directly from the vendor, so there generally is a longer processing time while we send them the order and they confirm they can fulfill it.  Unfortunately, because you requested it be cancelled, that request has been sent to the vendor and we would not be able to change it back at this point.
    If you are interested in re-ordering this computer, you would have to place a new order.  Please be advised that it may take some extra time to process your order because it is coming directly from the vendor.  Usually your order confirmation will list the estimated delivery date.

    I'm having the same problem with my order of a LG QuickWindow Folio Case for the LG G Flex, and the product page never said anything about it having to be ordered from LG when I placed my order. It only says "Usually ships in 1-2 business days." I will have placed the order a week ago tomorrow. If I had ordered it from {removed per forum guidelines}, it would have shipped by now. I also would have gotten it by now because I'm a Prime member, but that's irrelevant to my current issue. It would have also been cheaper by $13.75, but that is, again, irrelevant.
    Best Buy needs to clearly state on the pages for affected products that they don't actually have the products in stock and that these products will take longer to process because Best Buy is simply acting as a messenger between the vendor and the purchaser. This experience, along with other experiences I've had recently in Best Buy stores, makes me extremely unlikely to ever shop at Best Buy again.

    Having ordered a product a week ago, I can understand why you would be frustrated if it was estimated to ship within 1 or 2 business days. We do our best to estimate how long orders will take to process and ship to be received by our customers. I apologize if this estimation was not as accurate as we had hoped.
    As this was an order being fulfilled by a vendor and not by us directly, it is true that orders may take a bit longer to process than usual. Using the email address you registered on the forum, I was able to locate and review your order. It appears your LG QuickWindow Folio Case for your LG Flex cell phone shipped within 3 business days, given the holiday on July 4th that created a long weekend. It appears that it is currently scheduled to be delivered today.
    I am sorry that you feel this experience was so dissatisfying and may influence you to shop elsewhere in the future. I hope that in the future you will allow us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience than this one. If you should have any further questions, please let me know!

  • How long does it take for a store to process an online order for store pick up

    Hello,
    I placed an order for a Macbook Pro on November 11, 2014. Scheduled an in store pick up where Best Buy estimated pick up date is November 14. I didn't receive the email or text to pick up the item, so I decided to call 1-800-best-buy to see if I can get the new estimated pick up date. I was told by the representative the laptop is actually already at the store, and waiting for me to pick it up. I called the store to make sure, and was told that I can pick it tomorrow morning. I called in today was placed on hold for around 15 minutes. Decided to call 1-800-best-buy again, and found out that it will take another 3-5 days before I get my laptop. I asked the representative to change the pick to another store that has the laptop available right now. It was change since around 10 am in the morning. I called the store to make sure that they got my order, the Manager told me that once the truck deliver more laptop. I will be able to get mine, and I should call in the afternoon to check on the availablity. I called around 5 pm to check, and was told that even if there is a laptop. I would still need to wait until best buy process my order. Called 1-800-best-buy again, and was told that Apple usually take 3-4 for hours to verify the information. Right now, my order status is still "Preparing Order".
    My Questions: How long will it take for Best Buy to finish Preparing Order?
    Why does it show on the website that if I order by 8 PM I wil be able to pick up the laptop today. Meanwhile, the store pick up was transfered since 10 am this morning, and at 10 PM tonight still nothing.
    If I cancel my order, will I get all of my reward zone certificates back?

  • Order should be here today, still showing in process

    I ordered an item online 10/08 and choose the upgraded shipping. The online confirmation said it would be shipped and arrive today 10/10, when I call in on the automated system it says it has an expected arrive of today 10/10 but on the order status page it still says "Preparing Order" and when I call into customer service they say it has not shipped.
    This is ridiclious, I ordered and choose the upgraded shipping because I was going out of town this weekend and needed the item. I know I should have ordered from Amazon as there would be no problems but decided to give Best Buy a try and now I'm out of luck.

    When you choose expedited shipping, it refers to the amount the time the product will take from the time it leaves our warehouse or store, to arrive at your doorstep, not from the time you order it. Sometimes if the product is not readily available, as it looks like what happened in your case, it will take a few days to leave our warehouse or store. I apologize for any misunderstanding. I assure you, we do not want to lose you as a customer, and I will be documenting your comments for review.

  • Need by Date Planned Order

    Hi All,
    A simple question.
    For the purchased items, I am reviewing planned orders.
    I see following dates -
    Sugg Due Date - Date the Purchased Item will be consumed by the FG work orders - ASCP Calculated from the demand
    Sugg Dock Date - date on which Items will be received in the plant  = Sugg Due Date - Post Processing LT
    Sugg Order Date - Date on which we should place order with supplier = Sugg Dock Date - Processing LT
    Sugg Start Date - Date on which we should start preparing order = Sugg Order Date - Pre Processing LT
    There is another date 'Need By Date' suggested for these planned orders. What is this date? How is this calculated?
    Appreciate response on this.

    MRP can generated need by date PR base on what day lead time do you set.
    there have 3 kind of lead time type,
    1. Pre processing lead time
    2. Processing lead time
    3. post processing lead time
    if you set up all of that leadtime, you will find "suggested dock date" in MRP workbench.
    need by date PR is take from suggested dock date in MRP workbench.
    and add info, suggested dock date can generated if you set processing leadtime.

    I made an order in 10/06/2014 and the delivery date to the GoPro camera was 10/14/2014 but the product stats is still "Preparing Order" and didn't turn to "Shipped". I need the camera until 10/14/2014 because I'm leaving USA and I wanna know if it's really be dellivered in the right date.

    I can imagine why you'd be concerned! I'd feel anxious too if I was waiting for a camera to arrive, especially if there was a short window in which I'd be able to receive it.
    I've had the chance to review your order, as well as tracking details provided for your Go Pro camera, and it's my understanding the package was actually delivered last Thursday (10/09/2014). If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to check with the on-site receptionist to see if they have your camera. I'd also encourage you to stop by our Florida Mall location as soon as you have the opportunity to do so -- the remainder of your order appears to be ready for pickup.

    Hi Experts,
    In our organization, we are preparing order related report. As per the client request the repoort should contain all order related information like.. req date, req qty, cofirmation date, etc.
    if say for example
    Scenario 1.
    Customer order = 500. But stock is available only 500. in this scenario, the system creates only one shedule line. Because the stock is available in the requested date.
    Scenario 2.
    Customer Order = 500. But the stock availability is only 400. in this scenario, the system creating second shedule lines for balance 100. I want to give details for my technical person with respect to this scenario. What are all the details i want to give and how the values will be calculated for this? Especially were and all it reflect?
    Scenario 3.
    Our client is maintaining the materials in batches, from only one batch the quantity is available, the available qty - 500. there is no stock in the rest of the batches.Say for example the Customer order = 3000. In the second shedule line, it showing only up to qty = 1000. But rest of the quantity it is not showing.
    Kindly guide me.

    Please note that display of multiple schedule lines in a sales order is the outcome of two things -
    1 - The tick "check without RLT" & GR processing time in MRP views.
    All your reporting requirements can be met easily with proper fn specs.
    Use tables  / fields for fetching the necessary values
    VBAP - KWMENG for order quantity
    VBEP - BMENG for confirmed quantity
    Additionally you may also require delivered quantity to be found. for this you need to fetch picked quantities form respectives deliveries.
