Prepayment Claim error

Hello all,
I am trying to create a prepayment claim and getting two error's -
1. Prepaid amount is missing
2. Fund is not allowed according to fund determination settings.
This inspite of entering the prepaid amount and having the standard fund determination settings for my trnasaction type. I have looked into the documentation available in the market place but it is not helping. Any additional documentation on the steps of creation of prepayment claim and configuration will be very helpful. I am very new to the CRM product and hence bear with my basic questions.

Dear Santosh,
Based on a claim submission document, only carried-over prepayments can be created as follow-ups. When system set-up is correct, the below mentioned message does not appear when creating a carried-over prepayment.

When you say it runs well <i>standalone</i> what exactly do you mean? Which XSLT processor are you using to run it? There are subtle difference between XSTL processors that can sometimes result in incompatibilities. For instance, I have seen XSLTs run correctly in XMLSpy but incorrectly (or at least slightly differently) in XI.

ESS - CLAIMS ERROR

Hi One & All,
Hope everyone is doing good.
I have one issue when creating Claims request from ESS through Portal.
When I click Create in Reimbursements / claims application, I have selected the Reimbursement type & Request type, then It is giving error message saying: " You Cannot create more than 0 requests in a SLTA: date YYYYMMDD. Creation cancelled.
Please help me how can I solve this?

Does it look like a standard error?
We have made an enhancement for achieving this as we did not find any solution for controlling the creation of open TI if it is more than 10 requests.
Not sure how much will this help. But please check here.
In WD Component : FITE_VC_GENERAL_DATA, Component Controller,
Method : ON_INIT, On the Pre Exit of this we have controlled this by checking table PTRV_PERIO.

Error reading from base station?

I installed the airport extreme disk on my Dell pc(hoping to connect with cable modem) & the airport utility claims to have found a base station faa0c9, and IP address 169.254.72.207 (i didn't enter any of this information) but it will not 'continue' claiming error code 6753 an error occured while trying to access the base station make sure your network connection is valid and try again.
i'm pretty sure my network connection is failed since i'm able to access the internet...
help!

I have a similar problem, I have reset everything, haven't tried changing the i.p. on the computer. If I have to do this everytime I listen to music, I think this is going to get returned, because it needs to be set to a particular I.P. to use DSL. Anyway, all I get is amber. I can see the base station in the admin program, but I can't do anything else (error reading from base station). If I turn on Wireless Zero Configuration like it suggests, then I can't see anything at all. If plug in via ethernet cables, I can't see anything at all. I've used a cross-over, a regular cable and used a switch to make sure there isn't cross-over issue but all I get it is flashing amber. Is it possible that the unit is just defective? Should I just return it and burn CD's? Sounds like there are a lot of issues with this, not to mention how I can use this and DSL with the same I.P. Anybody else had problems with ethernet?

Capturing errors in Biztalk 2010

I'm pretty clear on how to catch errors by setting "routing for failed messages" and using the ErrorReport properties in the filter of a send port. However, I'm testing a solution by creating a file that contains a bad claim. It creates an error
in the Event Log when it is dropped, but the port is not picking up the message. The claim errors out due to a missing required element, so I'm assuming the error is created at the schema level. Does that have anything to do me not being able to capture it?
My filter is:
ErrorReport.ReceivePortName
==
HS837P_Incoming
And
ErrorReport.ErrorType
==
FailedMessage
[EDIT] Another thing I just noticed is that the message is not getting suspended. Maybe that means that the ErrorReport properties are not getting set.

There is one other issue that comes up after I enable EDI Validation. I am now able to capture the messasge and write it out to a folder. however, I really need to write it out in the same format that I received it. That is X12. However, if I use a pipeline
with an EDI Assembler it will fail because it was a bad file to begin with. The only way I'm able to write it out is with XMLTransmit or Passthrough, which means an XML file. How can I write it out in the same format in which it came in?

Powershell startup scripts fail on Windows 8.1 with error 267

GPO Powershell startup script fails to execute on Windows 8.1, but does run on Windows 8 and Windows 7. Powershell logon scripts run normally on all versions of Windows.
The event log contains entries with event ID 1130 from the GroupPolicy source. The log entries claim error 267 "directory name is invalid".
Running cmd.exe on Windows 8.1 under the computer's account (NT Authority\SYSTEM) confirms that the Powershell script's path in SYSVOL is valid and the script executes normally.
Running procmon on Windows 8.1 while the startup script is being run on a computer shows that the computer caches the files and folders for this GPO into C:\Windows\system32\GroupPolicy.
I am not sure why these scripts are failing to execute on Windows 8.1 when they run on Windows 8 and the same set of GPOs are applied to both Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 computers.

These are all good suggestions, but I have already tried to eliminate:
All environment variables
All network paths
Setup the GPO to reference the script by the file name and with a full absolute path. Neither worked.
Tried copying the scripts to multiple folders inside the policy, since the event log message reports only the root path of the policy.
I also used procmon to monitor how the computer handles the startup scripts. I found that the computer caches them into a folder under C:\Windows\System32, but never runs any of them. I never found an error that I could correlate with the event log.
For instance the following one line scripts failed to run:
'I AM HERE.' | sc -path C:\Windows\TEMP\TEST.txt
write-host 'I AM HERE.'
As far as I can see the first script relies on the existence of C:\Windows\TEMP and write permission to it, which SYSTEM should have.
The second one liner has no dependencies at all and it doesn't run with the same error.
I have created multiple GPOs and scripts, so if there was a problem in creating these files and folders it is happening over and over. I checked the permissions and computer accounts have read and execute permissions all throughout the GPOs.
Everything works perfectly on Windows 7 and 8, just not on 8.1.

If none of that worked, the next thing I think you need to take a look at is your registry - a windows thing. You can find some registry fixer software things out there, but you may need to hire a repairman / expert to go through your registry and fix it up.

How Prepayment or Advance Payments handle in Projects?

Hi Experts,
I hope some one can give me guidance on handling the advance payments (Prepayments) in projects by project customers. on R12.0.6.
Say I have agreement with customer A of amount 1,00,000 INR on project B. Customer has already paid 10,000/- INR at start of the project. In such scenario how can i generte invoice and revenue for amount 90,000/- INR ?
I have constraint to create the agreement of 100,000/- INR and utillised complete funding.

When you link prepayment received in AR to an Agreement in PA, the funding is not affected. It is only a way to indicate that amount which was already received and will be applied to invoices over time.
Pre R12.1 ; you still can use the same method, just enable a DFF on the agreement to capture the fact that prepayment has been received.
Using such method the invoices themselves will show the full amount, the value of the deliverables. You might want to add a note / comment on the invoice to indicate to your customer that you already received part of the money as prepayment.
The alternate solution, using billing extensions, is taking a different approach. You could enable a DFF on the agreement to indicate the prepayment you are expecting to get, and the liquidation method from future invoices.
On that project enter a manual event of type "prepayment", with the amount of the prepayment claim. Generate a draft invoice with only that event and send to customer. Apply the prepayment amount you receive to that invoice in AR.
Billing extension will be called by GDI when generating invoices (not prepayment claims). The logic will calculate the reduction amount and create a negative event of type "prepayment reduction". The automatic event will be included in the invoice, reducing the total amount of the invoice to the net amount you need customer to pay.
With that approach the prepayment claim is considered an invoice, which you treat as standard invoices in AR. With that approach the fund is used by prepayment invoice and later by the net amount of further invoices.

No other is of interest as neither iMovie or iDVD or Mac OS can address any other for it's temp. files and that's why I never go under 25Gb free space - just to let them run OK.

Cannot claim an interface on a virtual root hubSo don't do that? I have no idea how to tell, but clearly you need to test a few more attributes before you claim. Or else just log the claim error and continue with the next interface.

Applying Advance Payment(receipt) to Agreement

Hi Guys,
Well we have following requirement
At the start of project company request the advance payment from client. So this we doing the following
1) Send the AR Invoice to client for Advance Payment
2) Once the Advance received we create a AR receipt by entering amount received and the customer name (same as the one on the agreement)
3) Set up the receipt to be 'On Account.'
4) In project billing Appy the receipt to the agreement.
SO when we apply the receipt to agreement it applied the whole amount of the advance receipt amount & in the invoice whole advance amount is deducted but the client want to apply only the percenetage or the fixed amount of advance each time they generate the invoice.
Any ideas how to handle the situation?

We have a solution for similar requirement in release 11i. Our solution is not using the advances link to the agreement (which is only available with R12.1). The feature Oracle released is not going to solve your requirement, anyhow.
We bill from Projects, using an event type called "Prepayment Claim". The invoice is released, and cash is applied to that invoice.
Later on, when billing for deliverables or work, we have a billing extension that automaticly create a negative event of "Prepayment Reduction". The code will calculate the amount to deduct based on the commercial terms, which we have on the project contract (OKE), or you may have on the agreement DFF.
So the invoice we generate has only the net amount that we ask customer to pay. The customized printout format of the invoice shows total invoiced and then amount of deduction and last raw of net total due.

We don't know what to do and the death line is comming here fast... any help
would be very much apreciated.
