Prerequisite statment for substitution

Hi friends,
Kindly help me for Prerequisite statement for below substitution requirement.
Substitution Requirement - In CJ01 or CJ02, when we assign or change the Person responsable at any WBS level and enter or save then this change need to effect for lower levee WBS elements.
So I am using " PRPS- VERNR field is substituted by RCJ_PRPSUP-VERNR" by selecting Filed Filed assignment.
This substitution need only for Engineering projects. That is the project which contain project profile PR001, PR002 and PR003.
I need the help for defining Prerequisite statement for the substitution.

This will not work by substitution rule. can be achieved thru WBS BADI implementation -( WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE)

Wei Gu,
In the example you have given, there is no difference between these two cases.
However, imagine that you have to use this same condition in multiple steps / prerequisites / substitutions. In that case, it will be better design to create a 'rule' and then use it at all the places.
It makes future changes and/or maintenance more manageable.

Business area not picking up for substitution...

I have created susbstitution for GL account..for substituting business area for GL account....(tax GL account
Tax line item is automatically created in document.....i want business area to be pickep up for the same.
We want substitution create for Business area updating ;- When Document has 4 line item at the time of TAX and TDS line item the Business area not update, MIRO Document also not update the Business area.

Please kindly read the SAP note number 199886 Business area in tax line
In the value-added tax line items, the field "Business area" is NEITHER
automatically filled NOR can you enter a value manually.
Postings to VAT accounts must be made WITHOUT business area. The reason
for this is that the field "Business area" does NOT exist in the tax
data. Therefore,the advance return for tax on sales/purchases can also
only generate postings WITHOUT business area and these postings must
correspond exactly to the original tax postings in your account
assignments. Otherwise, the tax accounts would have steadily increasing
business area balances.
Unfortunately I must inform you that the business area is not available
for substitution because it can cause inconsistences in AM,CO and MM
modules.
Substituting the B.A.field is a modification to the standard SAP
system. To make the business area field substitutable you must have
written an ABAP to update table GB01 for the GSBER field, this is
all explained in SAP note 42615.

Additional Fields for Substitution

Dear friends
Is it possible to add additional fields for substitution in OBBH.
When I checked in OBBH I didnt find the Document type in the available list.
I want to substitute document type for each profit center wise for each transaction.

Hi kiran kumar,
For your requirement that field not available in header level in substitution so first we have to get that field through this way
If you want Document type BKPF-BLART - in header level .
Go to SM30 there Give Program name VWTYGB01 select maintain button.
There select the table BKPF and field names BLART and remove the check box exculde flag for those fields.
Now check that field is availabel in header level at OBBH

For combined delivery you have to make some settings
In the customer master XD01/VD01 in the shipping tab you have to check the ORDER COMBINATION in the SHIPPING TAB
In the COPY CONTROLS from Order to Delivery in VTAL at the Header you have to maintain the COMBINATION REQUIREMENT as 051
And also the data like
INCO TERMS,
SHIP TO PARTY
DELIVERY DATE
ROUTE
SHIPPING POINT
should be same for all the Orders
To combine the Deliveries into Invoice
you have to maintain the copy controls from DELIVERY TO BILLING in VTFL at the item level as 003
And also certain data like
PAYMENT TERMS
PAYER
BILLING DATE
ACTUAL GI DATE
INCO TERMS
should be same for all the deliveries

SOLMAN_SETUP - DIAGNOSTICS Prerequisites fails for BI_CONT

Hi,
We have installed a new Solman 7.0 EHP1 (with new SR1 DVD/media) and then updated it to SP27. SP27 patching has been done with the SPS stack - and this has automatically installed/updated new component ST-BCO and updated BI_CONT to 706 SP1.
During Post Installation configuration, under SOLMAN_SETUP, we have observed that "DIAGNOSTICS Prerequisites" step is failing with the message
Component BI_CONT: release 706 is incorrect, expected 704: see note 1274287
Component BI_CONT: SP level 0001 is incorrect, expected 6
As per SAP note 1274287, our system meets minimum system requirements for BI_CONT.
But not for ST-BCO as minimum requirements is - Support Package 01 for ST-BCO 400 (SAPK-40001INSTBCO ?)
My questions are:
Any idea why the Diagnostics Prerequisites are still failing.
I can't find this patch anywhere in sap service marketplaceso any idea from where to download this.
Appreciate your views on this asap, please.

Missing prerequisite DEP for emai Template 11.1.1.0

When creating a domain "... automatically configured to support the following products" and selecting the ORacle Enterprise Manager - 11.1.1.0 [oracle_common] option, I get this message:
CFGFWK-60814: The template you selected cannot beapplied because the following dependencies have not been applied:
Missing prerequisites:
DEP for emai Template: 11.1.1.0
[C:\Oracle\MW10320\oracle_common\common\templates\applications\oracle.emai_template_11.1.1.jar] (Oracle BPM Management Extension: 11.1.1.0)
the oracle.emai_template_11.1.1.jar is there.
What is missing? and where do I get it?

Cross verified all the steps involved in preinstallation process.
Hardware size :
Ram : 2 GB
CPU : 2.65 dual core
while running the prerequisite checker point where error is blicked is , CHECKING SWAP SIZE.
As per the requirement Swap is defined properly.
This is a Test System.
Any inputs is really appreciated.

Prerequisite script for Exadata Discovery using wrong domainname command?

Does the Prerequisite script for Exadata Discovery use the Wrong domainname command? It uses domainname, should it be using dnsdomainname?
The script is found in this MOS note: Prerequisite script for Exadata Discovery in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c [ID 1473912.1]
My System administrator wrote "what the precheck script says it is watching out for, is NOT what it’s checking, and what it is checking is NOT needed.
They say they need the “domain name” to be set, but what they’re checking is the NIS domain name. This is echoed in the man page for “domainname” …
The man page even has a warning NOT to use “domainname” to check the DNS domain"
So is the pre-check script wrong, or is the running OEM/agents/discoverer going to look for the apparently doaminname set value within a NIS construct?
The sysadmins are trying to avoid having anything set with NIS, for fear it confuses a new admin or consultant.

According to a remark that is attached to the note that you mention, your concerns are correct:
"domainname" command does indeed return NIS domainname.
The DNS domain name that we actually want to use should be checked by "dnsdomainname" command.
[root@hostname ~]# dnsdomainname

[root@hostname ~]# domainname
(none)
[root@hostname ~]# domainname -h
Usage: hostname [-v] hostname set hostname (from file)
domainname [-v] nisdomain set NIS domainname (from file)

The response to the remark explains that we are testing this in our internal environment. We have found one issue with this check. The NOTE authors plan to upload the new version of the script when the updated script is fully tested.

Is there a workflow for Substitution in workplace?
how can I maintain the selective substitution .
i.e. for one BO it should substitute while for other it should not .
for example . For leave approval there should be a substitution . while in case of appraisal where its not logical for someone else to make the decision there should be no substitution .

You have to first create classification.
SPRO->SAP Web application Server->Business Management->SAP Business Workflow->Basic Settings->Maintain Task Classes
SPRO->SAP Web application Server->Business Management->SAP Business Workflow->Basic Settings->Substitute Profile->Define Substitute. Here link substiutute with Classification.
In the Task Attribute you should assign Classification using Task Attribute.
Use the Substitute profile while substitution is made.

T-code required for Substitution

Hi all,
This is regarding the query on substitution that I want to write, as per my knowledge t-code OBBH is used for FI substitutions. But when I came across the t-code GGB1 there I found the application area as sales order specific substitution where the field were all sales order specific, BUT if i want to write a substitution for Purchase order/Stock transport order.....is there any specific t-code for PO/STO similar to Sale order,as i want to create a specific Set directory in application area Profit Centre Accounting which need to be mapped as prerequsite in GGB1.
I am finding a structure PCASUB but it does not have values related to field vendor - LIFNR which is not available.
For any further information please revert..
