Prerequisites for ISR forms

Hi,
What is the difference between ADOBE forms and ISR forms?
I want basic information and tutorials for ISR form .
For ISR forms what are the prerequisites are required?
I am a ABAPER. I have to develop ISR forms .

Hi Sheetal,
Basically, ISR forms are subset of Adobe forms. Generally ISR forms are used to integrate adobe forms with workfloww in SAP. To minimize the coding efforts for diabling or hiding fields Adobe has already provided standard ISR controls.
These controls reads data from SPECIAL_DATA, CONTROL_PARAM and accordingly gets disabled and visible.
Please share youe email ID on which I can send you the cookbook of ISR.

 Please check the XDP file size of the original form..that you are trying
 to copy...( in the command line type-FB_XDP_DOWN )..
 Check if the file size is more than 1 MB...there could be a problem..during
 copying ,saving and activating forms with more than 1MB...

ISR forms

Dear all,
May i know that for ISR forms, is it a must that we need a portal to run these forms? can we used these standard ISR forms in offline mode? ( with no portal implemented , and no MSS ) Thank you.

Hello,
ESS and MSS scenarios are portal Based applications. You will need portal for these. The forms are delivered for these scenarios. If you want to use such forms outside these scenarios, you will need to develop these as these do not exist in the standard.

Error in using ISR Forms

We are trying to use a Standard ISR form for change in cost center ( Scenario SMC2). In case of ISR scenarios, is it mandatory that a workflow is associated with it?
We have not associated a workflow with the scernario right now, and when we try to see the form we are getting following error:

You can find error messages in help. The messages are described like this (it's Designer 6):
CGEN-00071 Failed to create Forms API context
Cause:
To read and write Oracle Developer Form Builder binary files, the Generator accesses the Form Builder component. However, an error occurred when the Generator attempted to initialize the Form Builder API.
Action:
Reinstall the Oracle Developer Form Builder component.

How to call ISR form in task

Am working in ISR workflow for address change. I have designed ISR form in SFP t-code. I have designed the workflow for my requirement. How to call the ISR form in my method. I have check other standard workflow in that its using EDITASYCNOROU method with BUS7051. I have CHECKED the code in that it calls transaction iqs22. Since am executing from portal. I cannot use call transaction method. I have even checked in SWFVISU t-code there is no standard task for ISR. ALL the category is available for javawebdynpro,ABAP,BSP. What is the category that ISR falls.

Version Control for adobe forms

Dear All,
We have a situation where we already go live with version 0 of our adobe form. Now, we have an enhancement to the form i.e.: some new functionalities and new field. Previously we have tried to transport the new changes to the production without any version control and those processes that have been already started prior to the new changes encounter error when the user continues the process.
I am wondering how do the version control works and any documentation on how to configure it?

Here is some information that I found in the IMG on Create ISR Scenario...
Create ISR Scenario
Use
In this IMG activity, you create an ISR scenario that has a one-to-one relationship with a form scenario. To be able to use a form scenario in a process, one ISR scenario must exist for each form scenario. The ISR scenario and the form scenario must be linked with each other. You make this setting in Customizing for HR Administrative Services in the IMG activity Link ISR Scenario with Form Scenario.
In the form scenario, you define primarily the basic set of form fields and their processing through the backend services. In the ISR scenario, you specify the definition of the user interface. You also specify which form is used for the display and how the layout of this interactive form is designed. You use interactive forms based on Adobe software to create and process the forms.
ISR scenarios and form scenarios are version dependent. The version numbers of the ISR scenario are assigned automatically. Note that a form scenario must have exactly the same version as the linked ISR scenario. For this reason, you should always create a new version in the ISR scenario first and then use the same version number when you create a version in the form scenario manually.
Note
If an ISR scenario or form scenario (with an existing version) has already been used in a productive process, you should not change the configuration. If you want to make changes to a process or an ISR scenario or form scenario, you should always create a new version, and only ever use that new version in the future. In this way, processes that have been started can be concluded with the old version and new processes can be started simultaneously with the new version.
This is from the Create Form Scenario documentation...
Create version
Form scenarios are version dependent, which means that there is at least one version of each form scenario. Versions are linked with processes. Since processes can vary, you must also be able to adjust the associated scenarios. To be able to provide different forms for process variants, you create versions.
You can still process and change an existing version at a later point in time. Once a version has been used to execute a process, you should not make any more changes to this version; instead, you should create a new version.
The form scenario and the (linked) ISR scenario are both version dependent. They must always have exactly the same version numbers. Note that the version number of the ISR scenario is generated and cannot be entered manually. When you create a new version in the form scenario, you therefore have to use the version number generated in the ISR scenario.
If you have already made extensive Customizing settings for the form scenario and want to create a new version based on the settings, you should use the IMG activity Manage Form Scenario.

E-REC EHP5 - Prerequisites for MSS user for Create Requisition request

We are implementing E-REC EHP5. As a MSS user when line manager tries to create requisition request on portal, although it takes on a new page called "Stat Processes" we are getting error "no data available" and hence can not proceed on that page. We have assigned R3 role "SAP_RCF_REQUISITION_REQUESTER" to the line manager and on portal we have assigned him MSS user role.
Is there any other prerequisite for the said functionality of Create Requisition request.

In the IMG, navigate to :
Personnel Management -> HR Administrative Services -> Configuration of Forms/Processes -> Process Configuration
-> IMG activity "Test Process"
Enter the process name "HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION" and execute (F8). You should see the form scenario data in table view. Use the F4 help in the "Field Value" column for those entries where the "Value Help" column is checked. You should get a pop-up with the field values. If not you need to make sure that HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION iis linked to form scenario S_HRMSSRCF_REQUISITION in table T5ASRPRSCFORM. Also make sure that you have the last SP for the ERP common parts BP 1.51 installed in your portal. Finally assign role SAP_RCF_RECRUITER_ERC_CI_2 and SAP_RCF_MANAGER to your recruiter.

Insert a text module in my custom ISR form

Dear All,
I am facing an issue when trying to insert a text module in my custom ISR form .
I have created a custom text module, and inserted the same in the context of my form. This form is linked to my ISR scenario.
On running this scenario via portal, the textmodule does not show any value .
Has anyone faced this issue before ? If so, can you pls help me out.

You can create text elements insteadin the intialization method of the BADI implementation.Please follow the below steps:
1)we create a characterstic'TEXT' OF TYPE STEXT.THIS IS 40 CHARCTER LONG.
2)Now in the initialize method write:
method IF_EX_QISR1~INT_SERVICE_REQUEST_INIT.
data ls_special_data type qisrsspecial_param.
READ TABLE special_data INTO ls_special_data
WITH KEY fieldname = 'TEXT'.
ls_special_data-fieldvalue = 'Test Text'.
MODIFY special_data FROM ls_special_data INDEX sy-tabix.
endmethod.
3)Double click on the 'Jai Hanuman' will ask u to create a text element .Say yes and this will create a text element exactly the same way we do for the any report.
This will work and also provide the option of multilingual capability.

I came across ISR forms in my organisation and need to give a short presenstaion on it.. Can any one let me know what is it and what are its advantages and dis advantages.. Is SAP still support these forms? Are they replaced by EP? Need your suggestions.

Pavan,
Use two different Webdynpro views and define outbound and inbound plug between these two and share the session data with the component controller. Once the user submits the data validate it with the back end and if it is validated call fire the outbound plug and your second view would display the new adobe form. Hope this would solve your problem. I have designed few applications as I described above. If it doesn't work for you please let me know.

Assertion_Failed dump when accessing Design Time for Processes & Forms EP3

After exhausting SAP note searches and the SDN community forums, blogs & wiki searches, I decide to make my first SDN post:
After installing Enhancement Pack 3 to the base ECC 6.0, we got the Design Time for Processes & Forms node in the IMG under HR Administrative Services. I was able to get in to it the very first time without any issues; however once I selected one of the sample SAP processes, I received an "Assertion_Failed" dump in the section of code saying a referenced node must exist. In debugging, we did see a node that is referencing a node that does not exist, which is causing the dump. The dump occurs in CL_HRASR00_DT_OBJECT_BROWSER, Method ASSERT_OBJ_HIER_IS_CONSISTENT (line 71).
I now get this dump each time I try to execute the Design Time for Processes & Forms node in the IMG. Note: when accessing process the old way, there is no issue.
To me is seems like either EP3 was not installed completely, something went wrong in the activation of those business functions, or the copy of the sample forms from client 000 did not grab everything. In debugging, it appears that the missing reference node is related to some form scenario node. Also note that all the steps under Technical Settings were completed.
Has anyone seen this issue before?

5. Click on EDIT entries button on the header
6. Enter in the field REF_OBJECT_TYPE the value as FORM_SCENARIO
7. Click on the Next button on the header bar to navigate to the next entry
8. Repeat Step 6 for this entry also
9. Save the modification
Additionaly, perform the following steps as well:
1.Start SE16 transaction
2.Give the table name as T5ASRDTTOOLS and press RETURN key
3.Execute the Selection screen by pressing on F8 Key
4.Click on CREATE entry button on the header

Prerequisites for using ALV reports

Hi,
We have some of our standard transaction for instance LT23, which seems to have been programmed to be used and viewed with ALV layout. However, this is not the case, it just print using the old list layout.
Are the prerequisites for running ALV report; if so I would like to know them. SAP GUI is 7.20 and the theme is SAP Signature.

If you want to use the GRID instead of LIST, yes I don't know if it's a good idea but you can do only that
That means you need to change the function module L_TO_LIST_DISPLAY, but the ALV is called in form CALL_ALV, so you can create an enhancement in order to call the GRID instead of LIST.
The call should be the same, because the 2 functions (GRID and LIST) have the same interface, so instead of

Prerequisites for SNC SAP router

I want to configure SAP router in my system (intranet) which is not having any pubic ip. What are the Prerequisites for configuring SNC SAP router.

There are many pre requisite for sap snc router
1) one system with Winwods
2) one Public IP I.e compulsary
after public IP U have to fill DATA Sheet and sent TO sap
With ur system name And Public ip
after that u have to download
sacar file for installed SAP router ( letest version )
And
Ond OSS User ID And Password
for cripto file just to below link

download letedst version according ur opration system
and make directory
