I am facing an issue while logging through presentation server with mozilla...I am successfully able to access presentation server with IE.The issue is happen only while accessing with mozilla.

You are unable to access means either mozilla version should be 3 or greater.....any error its firing out.
Is the Presentation server starting or hanging??Use the same link that you are using for IE in mozilla and check out....more information needed.

Download the file in Presentation server with TAB Delimited

Hi,
I have to download the data of the finla internal table in presentation servr.
The oup put file should be TAB Delimited. I can do the same with using LOOP.
Is there any class or FM to do the same so that the out put file can be TAB Delimited.

you can use the fm
GUI_DOWNLOAD
in that if you see the
WRITE_FIELD_SEPARATOR - the import parameter, you can use this
so that the fille will be downloaded with tab delimited.

Print html document from presentation server with no intervention of user

Hello,
I have been able to create HTML output for my smartform.
They are saved on my machine.
I need to print these HTML outputs as a part of process without intervention of the user.
Is it possible?
I have tried method 'EXECWB' of 'cl_gui_html_viewer', but that gets fired only on some action and shows the Print dialog for the selection of printer.
It would be great if anyone can help me with us.

PDL -- thank you for your reply.
What you gave me did spawn the print dialog allowing me to select a printer. However, when the document printed, the number of pages in the document was correct but the pages were empty except for the page x of y along the top and the name of the document along the bottom. Have you seen this before and do you know how to correct? Also, how do you suppress the info across the top and bottom of the report from printing?

Try to start the Presentation Server with an empty catalog. You can add the dashboards and answers from the sample sales catalog later.

Save interactive adobe form in presentation server through report program

Hi All,
          We have developed a interactive adobe form in SFP transaction and we are calling this form
          from report program and we are able to save the form in presentation server.
          But my scenario is that user provides input in interactive adobe form and i need to save the interactive adobe form
          in display mode that to in presentation server with input values provided by the user.
         could any help to achieve this or guide me if i am moving in a wrong path.

It all depends on what you want to do.
If you are planning on users to fill out on-line form only and submit to SAP, it is pretty easy to do (that is once you understand how to create web dynpro and interactive form).
You can also have users fill a form offline and upload to online and save it to SAP.
You do need to know little bit about coding (ABAP or JAVA),
but can be done w/ very minimum coding.
If you are planning on doing in Web Dynpro ABAP,
go to SE 80 and select WebDynpro and create form.
To save data/form to SAP, you probably want to use BAPI or Function module already available so that you don't have to do much coding to save data.
See some of these links for helpful tutorials. Thomas Jung has several good tutorials, but none of them probably have all the information you need... you just have to pick some from here and some from other places... If you have specific question, I will be happy to guide you...

Problem with downloading the internal table onto the presentation server.

Hey folks,
I have a problem where in i am downloading one year of sales done by the company. I wrote a program to download the file onto the presentation server . The error occurs in the FM GUI_DOWNLOAD where if the file exceeds 105843504 bytes its giving me a dump saying that
When the program was running , it was established that more memory was needed than the operating system is able to safely to provide.
The current program has to be terminted because of the program already requested 105843504 bytes from the operating system with malloc when the operating system reported after further memory request that there was no more memory space available.
Could somebody provide an alternative soltuion for this.
Its really urgent as i can download the file with 70,000,000 bytes

Hi Rock,
Please download the files on to Application Server, else as suggested by Ashish download into 2 or 3 files and merge them manually.
Declare same internal tables may be 5 times.
When you fill the internal table check for a counter and when you hit a certain number stop appending to it and start appending to the next.
After you are done so download all the internal tables.
I guess this would be a good way. I am not sure if there are any ther alternative good methods.

How to work with files in folders on Application/Presentation Server

I am working on interface program in which files are populated in folders in application/presentation server in the format 'ABCsy-datumsy-uzeit.txt'(e.g.ABC20051022161450.txt,ABC20051022161455.txt ) in directory c:\temp.
I want to sort all these files and read in sorted manner.
can anybody help me out in this.

Using iChat to communicate with Pidgin users on a Citrix Presentation Serve

We have been using iChat on OS X and Pidgin on Windows XP in our environment for several months now. We use Bonjour as the protocol so it makes for a very lightweight easy, inexpensive IM solution on our network (no server component needed).
I hadn't noticed it before today, but I was communicating with a Pidgin user who was using a Citrix Presentation Server login (running Pidgin within that session), and the name that iChat displayed as the person I was talking to was not the actual person that was talking to me. iChat was displaying a different user who was also using Pidgin in another current session on the Citrix box. If I fired up Pidgin on my XP virtual machine and ran Pidgin from there, the user name is identified properly.
So it appears that iChat is tying the user name of the IM session to the IP address and then looking it up from the list, which results in a random mis-identification of the IM user on the Citrix session. BTW, there was a Bonjour update a few days ago, it may actually be Bonjour rather than iChat itself. Anyone have any suggestions, ideas, bug fixes?

I have no new info on this.
It does seem a bit odd.
Note:
By default Bonjour broadcasts and receives data on port 5353 on UDP Protocol to let other Macs know it is there (Linked to mDNSResponder in Activity Monitor).

Downloaded Firefox 4.0, to Dell Lat D630 on 4/9/11

It opens with Explorer & on networked desktop with Mozilla 3.6
tried all fixes suggested by Support @ Customer Service
No resolution to the access problem today 4/21/11. Do I reinstall 3.6 & delete 4.0? I understand this access problem is common to 4.0 users.

I did some additional testing through Proxy 4. All web sites and web pages including secure sites that I tried accessing over the past couple of days all appear to work fine with the exception of the forementioned sites. Access to these specific web pages (which I cannot currently access) are part of our day-to-day business requirements, and therefore will prevent me from using Proxy version 4.0 as our production proxy unless I can figure out why these web pages won't load, and how to fix the problem.
As an experiment, I tried to access these web pages through Proxy 4 with Mozilla FireFox and Netscape 7. None of these web browsers (including Internet Explorer) will bring up these web pages when going through Proxy 4. But bypassing the proxy or going through our v3.6 proxy works fine for these web pages everytime, and with all browsers. This leads me to believe that this web page access problem is not a browser specific problem, but something in Proxy 4 isn't processing the request to display the page properly.
As a reference, the web site in question is http://www.sunlife.ca. On the left hand side of the page go to "Sign In" then "Plan Members". Thats where the request hangs through Proxy 4 no matter which browser I use, including Netscape... but works perfectly fine with Proxy v3.6.
Can someone who is running a version 4 Proxy also please try to access the SunLife Members login page and see if it works or fails for you?

You see this error usually if some libraries (dll's) are missing. To investigate this issue it might help to use the [dependency walker|http://www.dependencywalker.com/] tool on the executable and check for any missing libraries. If you cannot figure it out yourself, please try to post exact comments of what you're doing and complete error messages including ideally version of your RFCSDK.

Just realize... when you run it in foreground, you have a foreground to capture the file location. so it runs fine..
but when you are running it in background, there is no foreground to check that is no gui present... how can it check where the C:\.... location is??
no need of reading any oss note... just see.. the name is cl_GUI_FRONTEND_service.. its only for front end..
u need open dataset, read dataset, close dataset kind of things while running in background. or RFCs to read the file... (search SDN).

How to search file from presentation server

In a ABAP program i want to display a dialog box which will help me to find out any file from presentation server.That dialog box should be display after clicking on parameter on selection screen.Parameter is a simple variable,not a field from any internal table. so i can not use function module F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST

Download 350MB of data from Application Server to Presentation server

i want to Download 350MB(Around 2.5Million record of Table BSEG) of data from Application Server to Presentation server..
i have tried with the transaction CG3Y and program using open dataset,read dataset,close dataset,ws_download...but went in vain,,,ended with TIMEOUT ERROR..will OPEN DATASET 'path' FOR OUTPUT FILTER 'Compress' be helpful
..please help me ..its urgent..

you can do the FTP with Unix commands..
initially connect to the application server by using command
FTP <app server ip>,then it willl ask for username and password... after successful connection you can use the following commnads to transfer file
lcd <destination path name>(set the dest path)
cd <source path>(set the sorce path),
get <filename to be transfererd>( do the transfer)....
You can do same with ABAP code also, for this you need to use some function modules like..
FTP_CONNECT ( to establish the connection)
FTP_COMMAND ( to execute the commands like cd, lcd get,put)
finally FTP_DISCONNECT to close the open connection...
for further details refer standard program RSFTP002,RSFTP003....
