Presentation Service- Page cannot be displayed

Hi
The presentation service page is not displayed but admin tool is opening.
Oracle bi server is running and so as presentation service too
But oc4j is having trouble..when I start the oc4j the command prompt widown pops up and goes off. Think by this oc4j is not starting.
Please suggest
1.how to see oc4j is running or not apart from start oc4j option.
2.how to make oc4j run if its true what I have described above.

Still I could not connect to presentation service page..Below are the details which i tried to resolve but did not work out

Hi All,
I have been trying to install the EBS 11i in configured system core 2 duo with 1 gb ram and 250 gb HDD,
have been following the below steps to install the EBS 11i,
1.installed Win20003 server edition
2.VC++ and copyind the link file into windows\system32,
3.GNU make done the path set everything,
4.MKS tool kit,
5IP config and installing MS loopback,
started the installtion direct from the DVDs,
Pre-Installtion everything was OK,
but after done everything I got struck last min, where the popup window appeared as login page responding but i did wait for 30 min and nothing has happened.
So closed and I restarted the System and I have restarted process putting 1st DVD and given the command rapidwiz -restart.from command prompt.
and Again its started as a new installtion, and preinstatltion wizard has came.
where I haeve commited the mistake i did not understand...?

"Page cannot be displayed" error when attempting to download large dataset.

In the following code, can anybody please tell me at what point the data actually starts to get transferred and the popup "download file" box appears? I'm thinking that the dialog box should appear on the first outputstream.write and start transferring data. However, I think it's not transferring the data until the while loop has finished! That's bad because this is a real long process and I eventually get "Page cannot be displayed" error. On a smaller dataset (shorter while loop) everything seems to work correctly. Is there some sort of a web server configuration that tells it to write out the data ONLY if outputstream closes? I really need it to write out the data as it's coming in. Code is below and thanks in advance.

Seems I already found out the issue.
Since we are using "Personal Home Page" for the system profile option "Self Service Personal Home Page Mode" I checked oracle note and found out
that 11i did not support this mode. Maybe this is the problem that is why we are getting page cannot be displayed error when only 1 responsibility is active.
The way to fix this, is to use mode 'Framework Only' instead of 'Personal Home Page' as Oracle are phasing out mod_plsql based UI and it will not be present in future releases. No maintenance is being performed (i.e. bug fixes) to the mod_plsql based UI technology.

We have an SharePoint services 3.0 installation that uses custom web parts on 100s of subsites. The custom web parts on any website is presenting this error

This past weekend we decided to create a new database server and migrate the databases to the new server in an effort to retire an old box.
INitially we attempted to go through the configuration wizard which didnt do anything but add a new database server to our farm. What we have done is remove the new database server from the farm and use an alias on the SP server to continue to use
the same name but actually get its data from the new database server.
Everything works with the site except these custom webparts.
Any thoughts on where to go to first, should i redeploy what i think are the webparts from VS 2005 (solutions are VS 2005 slns.)?

You need to make Safe Control enteries in your web.config for the particular web application.
Open web.config
Locate the SafeControls Tag
Make a safe control entry

Page cannot be displayed error when login to EBS home page

Hi All,
I have some problem login to EBS page, if only one responsibility is active to user it will get error Page cannot be Displayed error 404 on the Main Menu.
However if 2 or more responsibilities are active no error will come up and it will show all responsibilities.
Below is the log I got from apache.

Unable to open presentation services page in OBIEE

I am new to OBIEE and am having difficulty figuring this out. I have all the services - BI Server, BI Presentation server, BI Java Host up and running and OC4J started. Still I am not able to open the Presentation services page -"http://localhost:9704/analytics". it's giving me "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error.
Can someone help plzzz..

When i open my SQL reporting URL it says this page cannot be displayed

I am using SQL Server 2008 with SP3. When i open my open my reporting manager URL. i get the error as "This page cannot be displayed" HTTP Error 500 internal server error. I read few blogs posted below. Tried both but could not help me out

1. Database oracle 10g R2 on windows 2003 server enterprise edition with SP2
2. Application Server Oracle 10g R2 on Windows 2003 Server with SP2.
Problem explanation
one of our branch which is connected via leased line is unable to run some of the reports if the report have a little more
data,
one report i tried its size is almost 900k ( they are using the same line since last three month and they are
able to run all reports before, bandwidth is 128k), if you run report browser search a little while
for output then displayed "The page cannot be displayed" if you look at the report log it's finished successfully.
I try to download the report rather opening in browser it reach to end of in downloading window at the end it display
this message
Internet explorer can not download getjobidxxx.xls from oracleaps.domain.com
The connection with the server was reset.
I want to mention one more thing there is a ISA server and firewall in between client and Server but its the same condition
for
head office client but they are able to run all report with out any error.

Webcache KeepAlive timeout is reached. (The default value for KeepAlive timeout is 5 seconds)

Check Your internet Explorer connection settings Internet Option->Connection->LAN settings.
Try playing around with it. We had the same problem in the past.

Page cannot be displayed error in Communication channel monitoring

Hi,
when i am trying to click on Communication channel monitoring from RWB it shows me the error " Page cannot be displayed".
I am testing this for the for the first time in QA environment.
But in development , CC monitoring works fine in the same Laptop.
I have checked the hosts file and it has the IP address and system name present in it.
i have checked in my collegues laptop and it opens there, but it doesn't open in my laptop.
we are using PI 7.0, windows XP and IE 7.0.
Could anyone help to solve this problem?

I am able to open the communciation channel if i am using the path http://<full qualified host>:<http port>/mdt/channelmonitorservlet
This means that there is a problem in the host file....the changes are not getting reflected.....did you log-ff and then again login?
instead of the FQDN you can also open the page using the IP address of the server.
I am really sorry I am unable to give you points, since the Star icon is not displaying in the browser to award points

If you were using standard methods to build XML from Oracle (SQL/XML functions for instance), I'm sure you wouldn't have this error.

Page Cannot be Displayed in EP 7.0

Hi,
We have installed Ep 7.0 and Uploaded the CRM 5.0 specific Business Packages .We have connected this EP to CRM.Created an alias and checked for 'Connection test For Connectors' under connection tests and it was fine.We have tested the RFC connection and it is also working fine.I've created a user in EP and mapped it with a user in CRM 5.0 and assigned it role of Sales representative.Now when I'm trying to view the 'Quatations' Page I see <b>'Page Cannot Be Displayed'</b>.
Can anyone provide some pointers to make the page visible or Do i need to make any further settings.Any inputs on this will be highly helpful.

for the help on configuration of end to end monitoring in RWB. Please note that you have started HTTP services for PMI in SICF or RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES.
As its production system, you can contact your basis team and get check if any system/service user is locked.
Alternatively , instead of using E2E monitoring we can get most of the PI related information using Message monitoring itsef, i dont use end to end monitoring so often as most info i get from moni trace or message monitoring,component monitoring RWB.

Page cannot be displayed error

Hello techies..
We are facing one problem with our purchase order release screen.
The following are the sequence of steps performed:
1. Execute Transaction ME28
2. Select the PO awaiting Release
3. click on Services for object
4. Open the attachment list
5. Double click on note type attachment (which was created using SAP Private Note)
6. The system throws an error that the page cannot be displayed - check DNS settings.
THIS ERROR HAPPENS ONLY IF THE ABOVE MENTIONED PROCEDURE IS DONE USING THE SAP SHORTCUT OPTION. HOWEVER THE SAME SEQUENCE STEPS IN THE SAME DESKTOP MACHINE USING STANDARD SAP LOGON DOES NOT TRIGGER THIS ERROR AND THE NOTE IS DISPLAYED CORRECTLY.
AND THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN THIS DESKTOP PC AND NO OTHER PC. IN CASE, OS OR NETWORK CONFIGURATION IS SUSPECTED, IN THE SAME PC IT IS WORKING PERFECTLY THROUGH NORMAL SAP LOGIN. Only when shortcut is made (for which we login to sap, execute transaction ME28 and then select the option - "create shortcut in desktop").
Any help appreciated... and given points

Can you post an example of the URL you are sending them?
You may need the fully qualified domain of you machine. Also you need to ensure that they can see you machine at port 8889 over the network.
