Presentation using or not using comments

I want to do a presentation with the comments showing on my laptop, but the comments not showing on the screen viewed by the audience. What settings will enable me to do this?

Greetings and welcome to the Forum:
1) System Preferences > Displays: after connecting the projector (or screen viewed by the audience) to your computer and both are powered-on, click the +Detect Displays+ box; then check the screen resolution for both and optimize these displays if/as necessary.
2) System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement: be sure that the menu bar is at the top of the screen representing your computer. This will direct your computer as the Primary Display and the other as the Secondary Display. Also be sure that the box labeled Mirror Displays is NOT checked.
3) Keynote Preferences > Slideshow menu: Check the button labeled +Present on secondary display+. This will direct the presentation to the projector (or other screen). Check any of the other boxes that you feel are appropriate to your presentation.
4) Keynote Preferences > Presenter Display menu: Check the box +Use alternate display to view presenter information+. This will put the Presenter Notes onto your computer's screen. I suggest you also check ALL of the other boxes, to give you the most information cues during presentation.
Good luck.

  • Please explain personal hotspot and when should I use or not use?

    I Don't understand personal hotspot. Is there times to use and not use it?

    Personal hotspot is a way to use the cellular data connection on your iPhone to allow a computer that does not have an internet connection to have access to the internet. It is a good way to use up huge amounts of cellular data and is only supported or possible if your cellular plan allows it.
    There is something similar where a computer that has an internet connection can share that connection -- but I'm not sure that is what you are asking about.
    Normally you don't need to manually turn cellular data usage off. The iPhone is designed to automatically use wi-fi when it is connected and to automatically switch to cellular data if wi-fi is not connected.
    If you are asking about text messaging:
    1) iMessage -- only to another iPhone or Apple device that has iMessage turned on and you also need iMessage turned on. It will use internet if you have it, your cellular data plan if you do not have wi-fi connection
    2) regular texts. They don't use wi-fi but they also don't count against your cellular data usage. They count against your plans text allowance.
    3) 3rd party apps such as WhatsApp -- you would need to investigate them yourself

  • Index used or not used?

    Hi,
    I have a query with 2 master/detail tables joined to each other, I use a condition on a column (salesmen code) if i use SLS_CODE = 1 is much faster (since it is using the index) unlike SLS_CODE BETWEEN 1 AND 1 (since it aint using the index)
    OK! what's the catch here, i knew oracle processes differently each clause, but why it's not using the index???
    I have the optimizer_mode on CHOOSE.
    Any suggestions??
    Thanks in Advance

    The problem is solved, stupidly i didn't make the join on all of the primary keys, i left the year field unjoined which is a primary key in all the tables.

  • Problem in mapping while using Do not Use SOAP Envelope

    Hi All,
    This is wrt my thread 'Removing and adding SOAP Envelope'
    I am currently working on SOAP-XI-Proxy Scenario.
    For some un avoiadable reason, I had to use the option 'DO not use SOAP Envelope' .So the SOAP Envelope came withen the payload and in the pipeline, I can see the payload prefixed by '<?xml version="1.0" ?>' .
    Now my payload looks like
    <?xml version="1.0" ?> ( no more the encoding="utf-8" notation is there)
      <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
       xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
      <soapenv:Body>
      <Complaint_Request xmlns="urn:******createserviceticket">
      <CaseNo>12345</CaseNo>
      <CustomerNo>12345</CustomerNo>
      </Complaint_Request>
      </soapenv:Body>
      </soapenv:Envelope>
    To accomodate the change, I also changed my request structure as
      <Complaint_Request> (My new message Type)
        <Envelope>
         <Body>
           <Complaint_Request> (My previous message Type)
            <caseNo>
            <CustomerNo>
    But I am facing problem in mapping the values to the target structure (which is a flat structure),
    as the payload doesnot start with ' ns1: ' notation any more . Even XSLT mapping is not working.
    When I am pasting the payload in the Testing Mapping Editor, the Source Node are correctly
    formed, but all come in RED . But as the root node , ie 'ns0' is not there, the value
    from child nodes are not getting mapped to the target fields.
    Regards,
    Subhendu

    Hi Joel,
    SAP says, when we use the option 'DO Not Use SOAP Envelope', the payload also contains the SOAP
    Envelope. So it is obvious that the payload wont start with 'ns0' notation.
    So I am searching for a solution, when we use that option.

    Subhendu

  • How to capture SOAP fault when using "Do not use SOAP envelope" parameter

    Hi,
    we have a synchronous  RFC -> XI -> Web Service scenario. The Web Service requires some custom SOAP header elements for user authorization which forced us create the entire SOAP message in a message mapping and to set the "Do not use SOAP envelope" parameter in the receiving SOAP adapter.
    In order to capture the SOAP fault message from the Web Service we have created a message interface with a fault message and also created an interface mapping with a fault message mapping.
    Our problem is that the fault message is not populated when we get a SOAP fault message back from the Web Service. Is this due to the fact that we have set the  "Do not use SOAP envelope" parameter?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Bhavesh,
    I have exaactly same scenario. But the only difference is that the Successful payload is also not coming into PI.
    The request is successfully hittng the webservice.
    Please guide me on how to capture the paylod.
    I am using the WSDL provided by the thirdparty but sill the message is not coming into PI.

  • Use or not use OIP ... that is the question

    Hi, we are beginning on a project of implementation of a intranet in a company for 1.100 users, concurrent aprox. 400.
    The intranet will have a lot of content and documents, and the publish of content will be done by departments.
    Of course we have to apply to the portal the corporate style.
    In that scenario my doubt is if is possible to use the OIP ? or is better do that directly in the portal ?
    The structure of the OIP can be ok, but I have seen some limitations, as the change of the style, add new content, add new portlets ...
    I would be very grateful if someone can help me.
    Thanks in advanced.
    Regards.

    Hi,
    OIP would be fine to use from the content and even from the number of users point of view, however, as you say, you will not be able to apply the exact corporate graphic identity into it. So you have to decide - if easy setup, administration and content management is the main target, go for OIP; if corporate design is very important, then Oracle Portal would be the way...

  • XML over HTTP using BPEL (not using SOAP)... is this possible?

    Hi there.
    We're trying to expose a BPEL process which will be exclusively triggered from a HTTP POST. The Client Partner Link in the BPEL process models Oracle's Transparent PunchOut standard. This standard is strict XML-over-HTTP, SOAP is not involved.
    However, I am getting issues when I POST the XML to BPEL. It is telling me that it requires a SOAPAction in the header. Again, the design dictates that this is raw XML over HTTP, so we are not to use any SOAP specific header values nor any kind of SOAP wrapper.
    I deployed the sample 'HTTPPostService' process which was delivered with BPEL. I am seeing the same error when I try to POST XML to this process as well. I get a response (in a SOAP wrapper) saying that it wants a SOAPAction in the header. The WSDL used to create this sample process clearly does not bind to SOAP, (there are no mentions of the SOAPAction in the operation, etc) so I do not understand.
    So, my question is: Is is possible to POST raw XML to a BPEL process? Or does BPEL require all processes to follow the SOAP 'protocol' ?
    Thanks for any help.

  • Read a specific line of a txt file using vba not using line by line, Leer una Linea especifica de archivo de texto sin recorrer linea por linea

    Buenos días - Good morning
    Mi pregunta la escribiré en español y en ingles y espero alguien tenga la solución.
    I'll write my question in Spanish and English and I hope someone has the solution.
    ENGLISH
    I created a Macro in VBA that reads more than 200,000 text files (.txt) which have different sizes and quantity of information within them, each file need to extract the information from the first 3 lines and last 10 lines, 3 first lines is easy as using a
    'READLINE "3 times and am capturing information from the first three lines, for the last 10 lines which are identified by an initial code I make a loop that reads line by line until it finds the number 3 in a specified area of the line and then capture
    the information of each line of text that would be 10 last, the problem that I have is that the number of files and information within files significantly increases every day and having the loop that reads each line of each text file is delayed Macro increasingly
    as more information and consume more and more memory on the machine.
    I Need a different method not read line by line and I can tell you read the line (row) number 1000 (example) and capture the information from there to save some time or know how many lines of text have the file .txt and tell me read from (total number of lines
    of txt - (minus) 10 lines) so I would read 10 last.
    Here is the code I currently use
    Dejo el código que uso actualmente
    Dim fs, f, ts, REG
    Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
        On Error Resume Next
    sFilePath = strFolder & "\" & strFileName
    Set f = fso.getFile(sFilePath)
    Set ts = f.OpenAsTextStream(1, 0)
    REG = ts.READLINE
    Ciclo para llegar hasta las ultimas 10 lineas
    Cycle to reach the last 10 lines
    For J = 1 To 200000
                REG = ts.READLINE
                    If Val(Mid(REG, 6, 1)) = 3 Then

    Good Morning ryguy72
    First thank you so much for your answer, sorry for my english in the question, I tried for a long time to make a code that wasn't so slow to read the last 10 lines, 'cuz most codes used a cycle "For" to read line by line asking if in the specific
    position is the character(number) that tells me that i should get started to read the last lines that i need, that takes a lot longer than your code doing a Split with Mydata and storing it in strData(). I don't know how to do this and every forum that
    i consulted to read the last 10 lines quickly they made the same read line by line with a Cycle "for".
    Thanks again, I gonna improve my code with your help, 'cuz it took about 4 hours to read all the information and everyday ascended more time and memory consumption.
    Thanks to everyone who offered their help so disinterested and free, so should always be people with that spirit, I hope someday to be SO good as you programming.

  • Oracle Heterogenous Services using JDBC (not using ODBC)

    Dear Friends,
    I need to configure Oracle HS to connect with MS SQL Server using JDBC as our company don't want to go for ODBC connection.
    Operating System is HP-UX
    Oracle Database Version is
    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bi
    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.3.0 - Production
    CORE 10.2.0.3.0 Production
    TNS for HPUX: Version 10.2.0.3.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.3.0 - Production
    Can anyone please help me.

    The options you have for Heterogeneous Services are ODBC and OleDB.
    JDBC is not an option.
    The only other option is Transparant Gateway, a separately licenseable product.
    I don't know whether Transparant Gateway relies on other drivers.
    From the Sqlserver end there is MSDTC.
    Oracle generally doesn't underdocument their products.
    You can safely assume if it isn't documented, it isn't there.

  • Rosetta Mode -- use or not use

    Still using Leopard 10.5.8
    Some time back I had to change safari's settings so I could run a item using rosetta mode.
    My Question: Should I leave the box "open using rosetta" checked as a normal condition or should I leave it unchecked -- i.e. -- does it make any difference?
    Thanks
    Ben

    If you're using 10.5.8, then your profile needs to reflect that instead of 10.5.2.
    There is nothing in Safari that would need changing to run "an item" in Rosetta mode, so what exactly are you doing?

  • Generating SOAP Envelope when DO NOT USE ENVELOPE option is marked

    My scenario: SPROXY => XI => 3rdParty WebService. Communication is synchronous. I've a problem with soap envelope. It is required by webservice, but when I use standard soap envelope generated by SAP I've a problem with receiving response from webservice.
    So I want to create my own envelope. For this reason I've used DO NOT USE SOAP ENVELOPE option. Now the challenge comes. How can I create my own soap envelope?
    Do you have any working example? Soap envelope should be added to message send from XI to 3rdParty WebService.
    Helping answers => a lot of points

    I'm talking about HTTP header.
    When I'm sending SOAP request from SAP my whole message looks like when I use soap envelope
    POST / HTTP/1.0
    Accept: */*
    Host: 192.168.132.179:54000
    User-Agent: SAP-Messaging-com.sap.aii.messaging/1.0505
    Content-ID: <soap-02cce7702b1a11dd9902000c29ee261e[at]sap.com>
    Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8
    Content-Disposition: attachment;filename="soap-02cce7702b1a11dd9902000c29ee261e[at]sap.com.xml"
    Content-Description: SOAP
    Content-Length: 259
    SOAPACTION:
    <SOAP:Envelope xmlns:SOAP='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/'><SOAP:Header/><SOAP:Body><ns0:Sd2Ids_SzfExport xmlns:ns0='http://www.dat.de/sdii/ids/Sd2SOAP.wsdl'><arg1>1234567899-0</arg1><arg2>1</arg2></ns0:Sd2Ids_SzfExport></SOAP:Body></SOAP:Envelope>
    Always after such request I got and HTTP 411 error.
    In opposite, when I'm sending request from e.g. Altova or SoapUI, my message looks:
    POST / HTTP/1.1
    Content-Type: text/xml; Charset=UTF-8
    User-Agent: XML Spy
    Host: 192.168.132.179:54000
    Content-Length: 489
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    Cache-Control: no-cache
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <m:Sd2Ids_SzfExport xmlns:m="http://www.dat.de/sdii/ids/Sd2SOAP.wsdl">
                   <arg1 xsi:type="xsd:string">1234567899-0</arg1>
                   <arg2 xsi:type="xsd:string">1</arg2>
              </m:Sd2Ids_SzfExport>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    After that request WebService response is correct.
    You can find such differences (except Content-length which is a result of XML message formatting) in those two headers:
    - for first is used HTTP 1.0 protocol for later 1.1
    - in SAP header an info about attachment is added
    After a lot of test I thing that those attachment info in header of HTTP is causing a problem. So I want to use DO NOT USE SOAP ENVELOPE option to generate HTTP header without Content-Disposition and generate SOAP Envelope manually.

  • Not using all the ram

    Hi!
    I"m wondering, I have FCE exporting a video while iMovie is importing one. I see that my Macbook is only using 750 mg of ram. How come it doesn't use the whole 2 gigs?

    There are no options that cover RAM usage in the Energy Saver System Preferences. In fact, with a MacBook, you can't even select "better performance" usage of your processor. This functionality is built-in to the processor and there is no GUI for adjusting it in Mac OS X. So, there are no options you can configure to alter the amount of RAM used or not used with Mac OS X, it's all automatic.
