Presenter 10 Changes Colors to slides in PowerPoint Deck upon Publication

Using Presenter 10 with PowerPoint 2007.  When I preview PowerPoint slides in Presenter all looks great, color and builds are fine.  When I publish the slides as SWF and/or HTML the fill colors and background colors change on many of my slides.  The change is made to the published material as well as the original PowerPoint slides.  Some of the changes made are so bad that the presentation becomes not usable for the audience.  I go through the process of changing the colors back to the original, re-synching the slide since when you ungroup to redo the colors you loose the animations.  Some of animations are very complex so this takes much time and is incredibly frustrating.
My questions are as follows:
1. Has anyone run into Presenter 10 changing fill and background colors to published material and their slide deck?
2. What is the fix or work-around that you used to overcome.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Monica,
Please package the presentation and mail me so that i can have a better look..

  • How to change color of slider-thumb?

    Hi,
    I want to change the color of the slider in my gui.
    I tried it with the UIManager:
    public static void main(String[]args){
    //UIManager.put("Slider.thumb", Color.BLACK); //no effect
    UIManager.put("Slider.foreground", Color.BLACK);
    UIMangager.put("ScrollBar.thumb, Color.BLACK);
    }There was no problem with the scrollbar, but the slider only changed its color if clicked and only partially.
    thx for your time

    my best result:
    zoomSlider.setUI(new BasicSliderUI(zoomSlider) {
                   public void paint(Graphics g, JComponent c) {
                        super.paint(g, c);
                        Color save =
                                    zoomSlider.getBackground();
                        zoomSlider.setBackground(Color.BLUE);
                        paintThumb(g);
                        zoomSlider.setBackground(save);
              });but now i have problems with my listeners and other components.

  • Is it possible to change color of slider on different values?

    I'm trying to set up an instrument that receives data from a sensor. My idea is to show a sliders with the values read and accordingly  represent acceptable levels in one color and whatever is above it on a different color (lets say green and red).
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    You're going to have to use a Property Node for the slider to change it's color.
    The attached VI shows a simple example of how to do this.
    Right click on the indicator and select 'Create>Property Node'.
    Right click on the property node and select, 'Change to Write'.
    Right click on the node again and select 'Properties>Fill Color' (or other property you want to change).
    Create the logic to watch for the value over limit.
    You do have to be careful using property nodes. They are very useful,
    but they also have a performance hit on your application. You should
    construct a way to only write to the node when you need to change
    something. Constantly writting the same value to the node (as my quick
    example is doing ) is not good programming practice.

    Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

  • I created thirty pages using ipages and my web manager is having difficulty placing them on my website, some change color, some slide off the screen.  Is there a place for problem solving for ipages and website?

    Hi, I thoroughly enjoy the ipage program and prefer it to the similar one offered by Word.  But my web manager is having countless difficulties.  I converted everything to PDF's for him but several of the ipages are loading with a different backround color.  He says he has to meta tag each page since this cannot happen automatically.  On my Mac, the pages are loading after the navigation bar is selected, and it takes about three to four seconds.  On my iphone, however, each page takes at least eight seconds to load and then it slides right off the screen before it can be read.  I really want to continue using ipages to update my website but I am a rookie and do not understand why each ipage cannot simply open when someone goes to my website.  It would be great to do away with the loading of each page and I would like to also minimize any of my margins.  Thanks for any help on this strange matter.  Mary

    Converting pages to pdf is not the usual way make a website.  You may want to try some other app where you can directly create the html which is the customary format for the web.

  • I'm new to keynotes and I have a lot of powerpoint presentations I'm trying to salvage.  I can't get the slides to change on a click plus I can't find the way to change the "transition" time changes within each slide.  Where can I find the answer

    I'm new to keynotes and I'm trying to salvage several powerpoint presentations.  I can't control my slide presentations by clicking to change slides and/or for transitions within the slides.  I'm sure there's an answer but I can't find it.  Can someone please give me directions.

    Show the Inspector;   view > show inspector
    to run a presentation using manual control:
    Inspector > Document: set Presentation to Normal
    many transitions set in PowerPoint are not available in Keynote;  to set the transition options:
    Inspector > Slide > Transition
    select the effect you want and either choose auto or manual control

  • Followed hyperlinks in PowerPoint 07 WON'T change color

    I have created a jeopardy-style game in PPT and the hyperlinks aren't cooperating.  When I click on one of the options, it takes me to the appropriate slide, but when I return to the main slide the link I previously clicked did NOT change color.
    This makes it difficult for users to remember which options have already been used.  I have tried creating custom colors via Themes but that didn't work.  Help!

    I found a work-around for this using custom animation.  First, I setup boxes (for game squares)  in my Jeopardy game as hyperlinks (i.e., entire box/square is a hyperlink).  However, I did not enter any text in the "hyperlink" boxes.
    Instead, I placed a regular textbox in the middle of the hyperlink box.  In the textbox, I typed in my dollar amounts (in white font).  I then setup a custom animation to turn the text in the textbox to blue (the background color of the game board).
    In the "Timing" option for the animation, I setup the Trigger as "On click of" and then selected the "hyperlink" box.
    Now, when any area inside the "hyperlink" box is clicked, it triggers the color change animation.  This gets around the bug that doesn't change visited hyperlinks in PowerPoint.  Hope this helps!

  • Is there a way that I can see more than just the next slide in Presentation mode (as an old version of PowerPoint used to do)?

    Is there a way that I can see more than just the next slide in Presentation mode (as an old version of PowerPoint used to do)?

    Sorry - should have been more specific. As far as I can see, Keynote will only allow me to see the current slide and the next slide on my laptop when I am presenting a slideshow through a projector. But an old version of PowerPoint allowed me to show the current slide....and (adjustable) many more slides ahead (say 10)....so I could simply jump ahead to a 'future' slide and skip several slides in between. Net result being that I was able to matcgh my slides to group discussions rather than stick to a fixed, predetermined slide show.
    As much as it pains me, without this facility - PowerPoint (old verson, not current one) is more useful for me! :-((

  • Help, please! I am suddenly being presented with CYMK colors to 2 decimal points.  What did I accidentally change and how can I fix it?

    This is driving me crazy. I am suddenly being presented with CYMK colors to 2 decimal points.  Too much info for me.  What did I accidentally change and how can I fix it?  I've been through all of the preferences, views etc. I can find but no luck.  Thinking this has something to with the color settings (obviously) but with all of the possible options there I could use some help.  Thanks, all!

    May have been a switch from RGB to CMYK.
    Or you moved one of the sliders with shift key pressed.

  • Presentation not saving place in slides when I change layouts. Please help!

    Hello,
    So I have a main lobby layout, with a PowerPoint presentation, and at a certain place in the presentation I switch layouts to access information on a PDF. When I click back to my main lobby/PowerPoint the presentation reloads and starts from slide one.
    Is there any way to have it save my place in the presentation?
    Thank you kindly,
    John

    Hello,
    This should not happen. Ideal behaviour is to retain the slide number before the layout switch. Please give us any specific details that may help us reproduce this as we are not able to reproduce this in-house.
    Thanks

  • Need to change color of a symbol with a custom slider

    I'm pretty new to Flash and am not sure if it is the right app to try to do the following:
    I need to create an interactive piece. It's much more involved than this but fundamentally I need to create a slider on the left side of a window that is the color spectrum. I'll put a small triangular pointer beside it that can be moved up and down beside the spectrum. I want whatever color the slider is next to to show up in a symbol on the right. I've attached a simple image that illustrates it.
    So to restate it again, I'd slide the triangular symbol up and down beside the spectrum gradient on the left and whatever color it is pointing to would just show up in the symbol on the right, real time.
    Is this possible in Flash and if so I'd appreciate some guidance about how to start coding it? I'm not a programmer but do know and understand how code works fundamentally. I understand that Flash uses Action Script and I assume that with Action Script it's most likely possible to do this.
    Thanks,
    Rob

  • The way of changing color in blinking lights

    Hi. Please tell me the way of changing color in blinking lights.
    in the present program,
    There is a slider and it's property node with blinking and Fillcolor.
    Property node with Fillcolor conected color box with blue.
    so, I run program then slider turn on and off and showing blue and yellow.
    I want to change the yellow to another color!!
    I am look forward to your response!

    Hi Kazu
    There are two ways:
    1. You can change the blink color in the LV-options (tools >> options >> color), which is a general setting.
    2. You make a little vi that changes the color of the control using a property-node. This way is more flexible, as you can use every color.
    Hope this helps.

  • Howto change color for all elements

    I want to update the formatting for some existing Keynote presentations. Applying a new Theme does most of the work, but there are some things that are not updated to the new theme. For example: background color of certain text boxes -- and the color of actual bullets for bullet points.
    In the case of these presentations:
    - the background color of the textboxes is blue and I want them all to be transparent
    - the color of the bullets is blue and I want them all to be the default color/picture of the particular theme
    I realize this is because Keynote is "respecting" textbox formatting changes I have made in the original, but it would be nice if I could over-ride this "respect" somehow. It is easy to select all the text of a Keynote presentation and apply various ways to all the text. Is there a trick for selecting all textboxes (and changing the background color of them) -- or of specifying something to the effect of, "apply the following format to all the bullets in a presentation?

    Ok, in that file, you'll find a set of parameters that looks like this.
    sfa:r="1" sfa:g="0" sfa:b="0" sfa:a=".5"
    Those stand for the red, green, and blue of a color and the last one is the opacity. This particular combination would create a red object with 50 percent opacity. Still looking for which one of these controls the background of a text box.
    You know, it looks like if you go through the file searching for sf:fill and deleting that section, then that removes the fill. Once you find the right section, one find and replace would do it for you. It's one of those things that makes me wish I was handy enough with Automator and/or Applescript.

  • How to apply animations to ALL slides in Powerpoint 2011 for Mac

    Hi - apologies for category of this posting as it applies to software, not the MBP exclusively. Could not find better location...?
    I have powerpoint presentations that are from Powerpoint for Mac 2000 or something - recently upgraded to 2011, but my animations seem to have disappeared. Is there a way to apply animations to ALL slides in a presentation rather than doing each slide individually? I've searched online but have not found instructions that work for PPT2011 for Mac...
    Thank you!

    Interesting: I tried switching to a workspace where it's docked by default (Book), and it was properly docked (so it's definitely possible on my version/OS). I dragged it out so it started floating, and then couldn't put it back. (while docked, it does fix the F3 bug as expected)
    Also, one funny thing that is happening is, about a quarter of the time I drag it into a place where I'd expect it to dock, the cursor turns into the Mac crashing beachball until I move it away again.
    I guess this probably a sign something's corrupted. Will try deleting the preferences file when I've got some free time to set things back up again.
    Another sign that something is probably corrupted: Ticking and unticking "Enable floating document window docking" makes no difference to anything. Ticked or unticked, I can still dock and undock all windows except the Tools palette.
    Thanks

  • Change colors in the calendar

    I saw that there is the possibility to change color to present a variety of calendars.
    My webcal in particular should be on existing services WEBCAL, eg, the lunar calendar.
    I change color, but every time my iPad or iPhone sync, returns the default color!
    What can I do?

    Yep, I just noticed this behavious on my iPhone 4 as well. Built-in calendars ("On My iPhone") stay locked in their colours, but subscribed calendars keep changing theirs. It's quite annoying.

  • Fix 'Recovery' slider & add 'Color Correction' slider to Tone Curve

    My requests:
    1.) Please change the behavior of the 'Recovery' slider so that it attacks very-blown-out-highlights more rigorously than less-blown-out-highlights.
    2.) Please add a 'Color Correction' slider to the Tone Curve that is analogous to the 'Color Correction' slider built into the 'Shadows/Highlights' tool in Adobe Photoshop & Apple Aperture.
    To more clearly understand what I'm asking for, let me compare Aperture vs. LR's handling of Highlight Recovery, and why I prefer how Aperture recovers my highlights with its Shadows/Highlights tool vs. how LR recovers my highlights with the 'Recovery' slider OR Tone Curve.
    1.) Aperture's 'Shadows/Highlights' tool recovers highlights by attacking the brightest parts of the highlights more harshly than the lesser bright parts of the highlights (th extent of luminosities attacked is adjustable using the 'High Tonal Width' slider). LR's "Recovery' tool doesn't seem to, among highlights, preferentially attack the brighter parts of the highlights over the less bright highlights. In fact, sometimes it leaves THE brightest parts of my image nearly untouched! I've posted an image below that shows this.
    2.) Aperture's 'Highlights' tool recovers highlights WHILE maintaining color saturation (you can control the extent to which this saturation is maintained using the 'Color Correction' slider under Advanced settings fo the Shadows/Highlights tool). LR's 'Highlights' within the Tone Curve desaturates colors as highlights are 'recovered' by bringing 'Highlights' down. Again, I've posted an image below that shows this.
    Here is an image that clearly shows the different behaviors of Aperture's Shadows/Highlights tool vs. LR's Recovery tool vs. LR's 'Highlights' slider within the Tone Curve:
    http://web.mac.com/rishisanyal/Lightroom/HighlightRecovery_LRvsAperture.jpg
    I believe that LR's 'Recovery' slider has much room for improvement (i.e. attack the blown-out highlights more harshly than the less-blown-out highlights), and the addition, to LR's Tone Curve, of a similar 'Color Correction' slider as Aperture's & PS CS3's very own 'Shadows/Highlights' tools have, would be very welcome.
    Thank you for your consideration,
    Rishi

    More for your eyes to feast on:
    http://web.mac.com/rishisanyal/Lightroom/HighlightRecovery_LRvsAperture_2.jpg
    http://web.mac.com/rishisanyal/Lightroom/LR_FailsToDecreaseBlownOutHighlights.jpg
    Funny thing is, LR just seems unwilling to touch (255,255,255) blown-out highlights. In all my test images with a blown-out sun, LR leaves the sun at (255,255,255) after all combinations of exposure, recovery, and Tone Curve manipulations. Whereas Aperture will bring it down to something like (128,128,128). Which seems more logical, to me, if one is trying to darken the image or darken highlights... right?
    Also, if you look at the Seattle & Mt. Rainier image, no matter what I try, LR will not get rid of that brighter 'halo' to the upper left of Mt. Rainier. It just won't! 'Recovery' ends up highlighting just that bubble, and decreasing the Highlights in the Tone Curve just turns it into a grey, desaturated, halo. I'm telling, it just won't get rid of that halo! It has a love affair with it! :)
    Aperture immediately gets rid of it with its Highlight slider, and Photoshop's 'Shadows/Highlights' tool also gets rid of it after a bit of manipulations/tweaking.
    Now, I try to avoid Aperture at all costs, but, for all these images, seems like I need to use Aperture as my 'external editor' just to fix the highlights!
    Any suggestions are very much welcome & appreciated.
