Presenter 8 64bit failing to install (Full install) SOLVED
I am trying to install the ELS. All of the applications are installing correctly except for Presenter 8.
I am running Windows 7 64bit and Office 2010 Plus 64bit.
I have tried both the installation package and the trial package and I receiving the same error. Anyone else have this issue?
Tech support has been less than helpful.

After look further I figured out how to get it installed.
Even though presenter supports Powerpoint 64-bit and Windows 7 64bit (and it is also 64-bit) it seems to only install with powerpoint 2010 32bit.
1. Uninstall Office 2010 64-bit
2. Reboot
3. Install Office 2010 32-bit (Only select Powerpoint, will shorten install)
4. Reboot
5. Install presenter
6. Uninstall Office 2010 32-bit
7. Reboot
8. Install Office 2010 64 bit
After you install the 64-bit you will be able to open powerpoint and see presenter.
Thanks to jitesh swaroop @ Adobe support for spending 1:45 on the phone with me, putting me on hold for 15 mins to research the issue (before I even tell you what I am calling about), moving my mouse around, trying to convince me it's installed (contrary to it showing a failure) and then telling me you have no idea that your supervisor will call me back. He never called. Stay ever helpful!

Elements 10 and Premiere 10 failing to install on Win7 64bit
I have just putrchased both products which fail to install.
Both fail installing Shared Technologies.
I have captured the logs. How do I send these to Adobe?
The states the installer goes thtrough for Elements 10 are:--
Copying New files
Installing Elements 10
Installing Elements 10 Organizer
Installing required Shared Technologies
Rolling back the Installing Elements 10 Organizer
Rolling back the Installation of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10
The Wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 could be completely installed
Below mentioned application has failed to install: Shared TechnologiesHi,
This document contains troubleshooting steps that can be performed to resolve the issue you are facing:
Troubleshoot installation problems | Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements
The document also contains a link to the Adobe Support Advisor using which you can upload your log files for us to view it.
One step that usually helps is to navigate to the shared technologies folder ElementsST1Installer (ST1 means Shared technologies 1) in the installation disc. If you have downloaded the software, you will find this in the extracted installation folder. Run the set up file separately and then reinstall the software. -
I've got a user running:
AnyConnect 3.1.01065
on
Windows 7 64bit.
Several weeks ago she started encountering the following error:
-after logging into Windows and launching the AnyConnect client, she enters her username and password and successfully authenticates.
-the connection is not established and she's presented with the following message: "Failed to install AnyConnect VPN Profile because of file move error. A VPN connection cannot be established."
After doing some troubleshooting, inlcuding uninstalling/reinstalling the anyconnect client, it seems the culprit is the following file:
C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile\<filename>.xml. When the problem occurs (which is not regularly, sometimes it occurs daily, sometimes just once a week) examining that file indicates it has no security or permissions set. Quitting the AnyConnect software, modifying the file so that the user has full control of it, then relaunching AnyConnect fixes the problem (until it happens again). Uninstalling, and making sure to move C:\ProgramData\Cisco to the trash, then reinstalling did not seem to help.
The closest match in these forums is the following thread, https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3760446 - though no clear resolution was given.
Has anyone else encountered this, and been able to fix it?
Thanks much.Just FYI, it seems at least in this case, purging all the previous system restore points seems to have resolved this issue...

ITunes Failing to install 11.0.5
I have been trying to update the new version of iTunes to my iMac - Snow Leopard version 10.6.8. using the software update, and it failed to install any update full stop!
There is no error message presented when I click 'Show Error'
I used Disk Utility to verify the disk and then to fix any errors. I tried again with no luck.
I have gone through tutorials to completely remove the old version of iTunes to install the new one. Again, no luck.
I have gone through tutorials to completely remove the old version of iTunes to install the new one. Again, no luck.
I tried to install an older version of iTunes again, the also didn't work
I tried installing the install from another hard drive/flash drive
So, I'm at a bit of a loose end in terms of sorting this **** problem out! SOS!I used Disk Utility to verify the disk and then to fix any errors. I tried again with no luck.
Disk Utility will report errors if there any to be repaired, or it will say: The HD appears to be ok
Try one more time just in case.
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utillities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If DU reports errors, start up from your Mac install disc to make repairs.
Instructions here > Mac OS X 10.6: Reinstalling Mac OS X
And make sure there's enough free space on the disk. Control click the MacintoshHD icon on your desktop then click Get Info. You'll see Capacity & Available
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
You can also view that information from the bottom of the Disk Utility window. -

thanks in advance.I get a message telling me that a netwrk device is unavailable and asks me to locate the windows installer file, itunes64.msi (or similar)
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
HP C1680 fails to install Software
Can you please help
I have just reinstalled my operating system Windows 7 6- bit OS and needed to reinstall my printer HP Photosmart C6180 All in One. When I first got my new PC( Dell XPS 501L windows 7 Intel core i5. 243M 2.40GHz) I originally install the whole package with no issues.
after the reinstall of the OS, this is issue I was I getting when I tried to reinstalled the HP application (AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe )
Error message:-
C:\Users\andylouey\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS4864\setup\HPzPNP.ice.
I have done the following:
Tried to install from an old download of the software. Result Failed to install message as above.
Tried the original install CD and also tried to use them in various compatibility modes. Result Failed.
Downloaded the critical updates from HP solved the above error message result the above error message was solved.
Downloaded the latest install software program for my HP printer from the HP website tried again to install failed
Ran the HP Scan doctor reported that the printer drivers are all working asked it to run the scan program it reported that it need the full install of the C1680 software to run this
I got the download again ran it. It extracts the file then just disappears and looking at the task manager there is not install running. So again failed
For the second time I downloaded the HP installer network printer wizard but this failed and just keeps going round in circles> It finishes the download gets to the extracting point and then goes back to the identify printer( which is listed) then goes back once again and downloads the install software.
Other steps I have taken. I used the old installation disk to do a complete uninstall of all the drivers and software using Utilities> CCC> Uninstall_ L2.bat . This wored and uninstalled the printer and drivers and I think any remaining software. I also deleted all the %TEMP% files that my Laptop would allow.
Then once again I I used the install wizard first without the USB cable disconnected then the wizard asked me to plug it in. I plugged it in and HP Wizard found the printer and downloaded the appropriate software completed the download and extracted it and then NOTHING.
I have also downloaded the critical update:-
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-126392-2&cc=uk&dlc=en&lc=en...
Can you suggest a solution help. In my view I need to start from scratch and remove all traces of any HP software and drivers and start over. My only issue with this I have done this and still have the same issues. If I go to Microsoft uninstall utility there isn’t anything to uninstall.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
PS. HP wizard has finished downloading for the fourth time and looping to discovering the device again :-( HELP!!!!!!!!
Thanks in adbance for your replies AndyHi
Thank you for your reply and your advice and help
If you look at my help request aboveI have described that I have done your suggetion and yet there are still traces of HP on my hard drive and I am still haveing the same issues.
Below are the steps you have referred to which I covered in my original request :-
Other steps I have taken. I used the old installation disk to do a complete uninstall of all the drivers using CCC> Utilities and Uninstall_L3 . I also deleted all the %TEMP% files (7z) that my Laptop would allow.
Then once again I I used the install wizard first wit the USB cable disconnected then the wizard asked me to plug it in. I plugged it in and HP Wizard found the printer and downloaded the appropriate software completed the download and extracted it and then NOTHING. Except the drivers were installed and the printer was shown in the devices and printers.
I have also downloaded the critical update:-
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-126392-2&cc=uk&dlc=en&lc=en...
Can you suggest a solution help. In my view I need to start from scratch and remove all traces of any HP software and drivers and start over. My only issue with this I have done this and still have the same issues. If I go to Microsoft uninstall utility there isn’t anything to uninstall.
I can print to the printer both wirelessly and via the USB port. But the Solution center will not install just keeps looping. ie idenifies the printer downloads the latest sofware and extracts it then just dissapears of the screen. Nothing comes up and there are no HP programs running in the applications task manager and no processes either.
Thank you in advance for your reply. Regards Andy -
I have just tried to install the full version of Anthill to my iPod touch Gen 4. I get a message on the iPod saying "Anthill failed to install" and an error on the computer "OxE8000004". I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. I have tried the 7 resolution steps advised by Apple and have totally run out of ideas as to what I can try next. I am using a new laptop since installing Anthill Free the first time and am now running Windows 7, otherwise everything else is the same. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

Two workarounds below (Not acceptable solutions)
*I can add a pause script after Setup Windows and ConfigMgr sequence, wait 5-10 minutes and the applications will install. I assume this is because the CM client has time to fully provision.
* I can add the anon ‘IUSR’ account to the local administrators group on the DP and all applications install (without the pause script mentioned above). I can reproduce the issue repeatedly by removing and adding the anon account.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated…
Also, I come from a CM 2007 background and somewhat new to CM 2012. Should WebDAV and/or URL Authorization be installed and configured on the DP? According to MS tech support “No”. However, I’ve seen several SCCM 2012 guides on the web that say it should
be installed.
Regards
David K. HarrisonLocationservices.log, CIDownloader.log, CIagent.log, DataTransferService.log also need to be checked. We need to find out what credential the Client trys to use when it downloads content from DP.

Windows Server 2012 R2 - ALL HF's Failing to install as "Does Not Apply to this computer"
Hi,
A general question about hot fix installs.
I have multiple servers that are all Windows 2012 R2. They do not have internet connections, so I have to install the Hotfixes manually. I download the HF's from the ISO download page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/913086) every month. I collect them and install in a bulk install during a release cycle ( a couple times a year). I just realized that NO HF's have installed since JUNE 2014. Every HF that shows up in WindowsServer2012R2 directory fail to install with a message of "The update is not applicable to your computer". Which is fine if that was true, but.... I get this message for every HF from the ISO's since June 2014. NOT one HF thinks it is applicable to my computer. Could that be the case? No HF's apply to my Server 2012 systems since June of 2014?
This is my system info, and below that is the results from attempting to install 95 HF's.

Presenter 9.0 will not install on Windows 8.1
I am attempting to install my copy of Adobe Presenter 9.0 on a laptop running Windows 8.1, 64-bit, with a 32-bit version of MS Office 2010. I have attempted to install the 32-bit version of Presenter 9.0, but consistently receive an error (Exit Code 7) as shown below:

In between installation attempts, I have uninstalled the failed installation from Control Panel > Programs and Features. This has not helped. I have also re-extracted the 32-bit setup from the download of Presenter 9.0 and tried installing using that "fresh" set of files. Nothing works.
I have also verified that there is no virus or malware present on the system, and that my installation of MS Office 2010 is working properly. The fault appears to be with the Presenter Setup files.
Please assist. As you suggested, I have downloaded the post-Win8.1 release of the Presenter
9.0 setup from Adobe. That did the trick on my Windows 8.1 machine.
Thank you for your assistance!

AbdelPlease help!!! I am going on 9 days now trying to install SharePoint 2013 onto a VM. I have tried Hyper-V and VMWare and am getting the same result with both.
Running Windows 8.1 with 16 GBs of RAM.
The pre-req installer will not install anything!! And I get this error:
The tool was unable to install Application
Server Role, Web Server (IIS) Role
So I installed the Web Server IIS Role and restart... still no luck
Then I ran this command:
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i -enable
And get this message: "This option is not supported on this version of the operating system. Admins should instead install/uninstall ASP.NET 4.5 with IIS8 using the "Turn Windows Features On/Off dialog....
9 days of cussing and pulling my hair out... please someone help.. I just want to run the Pre-Req installer and install SharePoint on a VM Machine.
Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
I just want to confirm that I'm facing exactly the same problem.
Currently, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 is not supported for installation on computers running the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating
system.
