Presenter notes iPad
Does anybody know how force Keynote on the iPad to show presenter notes during a slideshow not being physically connected to a projector?

Is there any way to view a keynote presentation and the presenter notes on the iPad at the same time? My professors at school have keynote presentations and i take notes during class with the presenter notes feature. I was wondering if there was any way i can view both of them on the same screen on my iPad while studying? This way I could see their slides along with the notes i take during class.
None that I know of. Suggest to Apple.
Send feedback to Apple.

Keynote '09 Presenter Notes on iPad invisible to audience
How do I view my Keynote '09 presenter notes on iPad while using a projector for the presentation? I don't want my audience to see my presenter notes. Is this possible?
In presentation mode you have and option on top right of the ipad screen. touch it and you can change the view from full slide, next slide, actual slide and next slide and the last is with notes.
Hope will help

Presenter notes on iPad Keynote
Is there any way to display, edit, or view (while connected to VGA) presenter notes?
Presenter notes would have been nice.
But why can't I see the slide I'm projecting except in a teensy thumbnail? I present without notes and rely on seeing the slide on my laptop to prompt me. Has nobody at Apple ever DONE a presentation? Or perhaps the iPad Keynote designers are so brilliant that they can remember exactly what "Slide 23 of 30" in their presentation is.
I'm really surprised and disappointed with what I'm reading about Keynote. Being able to carry a smaller presentation device to my classes was a major selling point for me. Until Keynote is more fully-featured, there's no point in getting an iPad. -
I have been using my iPad for my notes, but I want to start using it as a remote for my macbook. When I copy and paste the notes into the Presenter Notes section of Keynote on the macbook, it unformatted. Any bullet point formatting that I do on my macbook is not showing on my iPad's Remote view Presenter Notes. Is there a way to create consistency here that does not involved formatting each one separately?
Use Drag and Drop
Have both applications open side by side
select the text in Pages
with the mouse drag the text from pages into presenter Notes pane in Keynote -
I make simple presentations on my mbp then download them into my iPod Touch 4th gen for connection to a VGA TV. I use an iPad 2 with Keynote remote to control it. However, when I transfer the presentation from the mbp to the Touch I lose all the text formatting on my presentation notes. Is there a way to underline or bold text or change text color in the presentation notes that works on the Touch?
The Optomo projector pico mirrors exactly what is on my mac pro. Any help appreciated Thanks, George UK
Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement: de-select the Mirror Displays checkbox
In Keynote 6.5.2 whilst in rehearse presentation mode there is now no switch screen button on the top right like there used to be.
Press the X key on the keyboard to swap presenter display with Presentation. -
ITunes is not uploading presenter notes
I was happy to discover that I could view and update Presenter Notes in Keynote on the iPad but not so happy to discover that the notes do not appear to be uploaded to iTunes on my desktop.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?Ultimately, I tried uploading to my iWork.com account but I discovered there was a limit of 50 slides and I had 65! (The limit is not on iWork.com)
So in desperation I emailed it to myself and although I got a warning of it being a big file (6.5MB) it transferred and the Presenter Notes were intact. -
I will combine Win 8.1 and Mac system in Creative Cloud program. Is that possible in same license. Start the work in Mac and continue with Win 8.1 and do presentation on Ipad ???
Cloud License allows 2 activations http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html
-Install on a 2nd computer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1452292?tstart=0
-Windows or Mac does not matter... 2 on the same operating system, or 1 on each
Check this link to see what is available for an ipad

I am trying to connect a Macbook Pro to a projector for a Powerpoint presentation. When I use a VGA cable, the color of the projected images are not good. When I use a USB cable, the projected image includes the presenter notes on my computer screen?
To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
and select the Library that you moved. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Your first option didn't work because you imported one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
Your second option didn't work because you simply referenced her library on the old machine.

I want to be able to use apple tv as a second monitor...Play the presentation while still being able to view my presenter notes on my MacBook. Is there a way to do that? The funny thing is that I can view my presenter notes on my Iphone 4 when I use it as a Keynote Remote.
In most scenarios you shouldn't need to forward ports, however if you need to, you may be best contacting your ISP.
As with most router issues, I would recommend that you contact your ISP with details of your problem (assuming that it was your ISP that provided it to you).
There are simply too many manufacturers with different software features and settings and often different names for such features and settings, that the best advice will likely come from those that are knowledgeable about your particular router.
Make sure your router/computer allows access over the following ports

I am looking at setting up a Local Wifi Network using a Mac and Airport Extreme.
I wish to store presentations on the Mac.
I wish to teach from the presentations through Apple TVs in my classrooms using IPad to control presentation, annotate etc
I don't want to have to upload presentation to iPad from Mac as this will be in server room.
I don't want to access internet so iCloud Drive is out of the question.
What options do I have?
Many thanks
DaveYou would need to find an app that lets you remotely access the Mac (e.g. Logmein). You would need to be aware of how much the network can handle.

Can no longer edit/adjust presenter note font sizes etc
In a large presentation (meaning I don't wish to start over) I can now no longer edit the presenter fonts, in terms of size or other font related changes - either via the format bar, font window or toolbar icons...
All options appear grayed out or unselectable...
The reason I wished to alter font sizes is something occurred which in fact changed all the default sizes (from 22 down to an unreadable 12) in my presenter notes.
Adding new slides retains the editable presenter notes...but quickly these seem to end up ultimately changing to the smaller uneditable font scenario.
Help!I was just searching for this problem myself... here is my experience:
In order to change presenter note fonts I need to open the font box (format/font/show fonts)... the problem is that things go screwy when I change presenter notes size... the cpu starts maxing out, keynote snails along.. I have to quit/restart. Bug city.?
There is definitely some disconnect between these notes fonts and the rest of the keynote program!
The ability to easily change these notes size is important for me but I'm hesitant to keep trying...
ps: choosing font/format/show fonts is the same as using the toolbar A icon - the format bar fonts don't work for presenter notes. -
