Presenter Video Express not uploading an 8 min video

I have created a video that is 8 mins long and it wont upload to either dropbox or youtube. I paid the £1.49 to create it but now can't use it.
Shorter videos of 1 min or less do upload OK.
Help - it is something I need to do for work before going on holiday tonight.

As a matter of interest you can load videos of any length up to your iPods hard drive capacity.
I have several 1.5 - 2 hour films which play perfectly.
How long your battery will last if you play them is, of course, a different matter.

Video file not uploaded

I made some links to video files. I had done this before with audio files, published the site via .mac and it worked fine.
Now with videos I make a link to a video file and it works sometimes, and sometimes the file is not not loaded to the web. Strange - why?

I tried another FLV file with the same result.
I uploaded to two separate servers - on the secure server I did the old "drag and drop".
On our non-secure server, I was able to export the SWF directly to that web folder system.
Either way, I received the same result.
Neither video will open in Adobe Media Encoder (another program I have but know nothing about) - I received the a File Import Error stating "The source compresssion type is not supported."
They both open and function fine in Adobe Media Player (and if exported as SWF to my desktop).

I have a Sony handy cam. It will upload my pictures but it will not upload my videos from the same camcorder.I connect it with a USB cable. DOes anyone know why this is happening?

Check the CD that came with the camera or Sony's device support area for some drivers/software that may better interact with the camera. Outside of loading up Image Capture (native OS X applciation), I would try Sony's own software.

Swf and flv video will not upload to DW

I am having a lot of trouble uploading a video to DW. I have several different versions, all with the same result--will not show in DW. The file that I would like to use is an SWF that I created in Flash with play features. When I try to insert the video through the media options in DW, a FL grey placeholder appears. However, if you press "play" or try to view the video in FF, IE, or Safari, you get a blank screen. Attached is the code I am using. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Of course it could be, your path to the swf file is too encapsulated to the main page. In this case it helps to start with "../xxx.swf" before the filename.

I just purchased a Canon a4000 and the videos will not upload to Picasa. Pics will but not video

I have owned several Canon's and have never had this issue. I attach my camera to the computer using a USB cable and hit import and everything but the videos will upload. Please help. Thank you.

If you are experiencing some difficulty, I recommend using the software that came with your PowerShot A4000 IS to transfer the video over to your computer. You can also use a card reader to a accomplish this as well.
Picasa uses other available software and codecs on your computer to work with video. I have provided a link below that will show you a table of supported video formats and the software required to play them back:

Video cameras not uploading to Mac, can I change recording format?

I'm a film teacher at a secondary school where I started a few months ago. I have a classroom of desktop Macs (I don't know the specifics right now as I'm not in work) and a range of panasonic, sony and flipcams.
Recently I cannot read the files from the cameras on the desktop Macs or either of my Macbooks. All the cameras are saving to the .MTS format which I'm aware is not readable on Macs.
While I know I can convert these files myself, bring the cameras home and converting each one, then bringing them back to school and transferring them to the Macs would be a nightmare when I have 30 students making films.
I know from previous classes that these cameras used to upload to the Macs as I have seen the evidence. Is there a way to format the cameras so they will record in a different file extension? I can't believe the previous teacher used to convert every file, especially considering the Macs were bought for the sole purpose of editing.
Any help would be amazing as I'm starting to lose my mind!

I used to use the free "Media Converter" to convert .mts to .mov when I was using iMovie 9.0.4 with Snow Leopard. You can convert multiple clips at a time. You can download it from:

You also need to instal the Re-wrap AVCHD for Quicktime - uncompressed Audio preset from:
http://media-converter.sourceforge.net/presets.html
iMovie 10 (which requires Mavericks), can read .mts files directly.

I have been uploading videos to Facebook with no problem. Now get a message that the user has opted out of FB platform. Videos will not upload.

I have been uploading videos to FaceBook for about a month now with no problems. Yesterday, I went to post another video and got this message "user has opted out of FaceBook Platform." I can still post photos from this computer as well as make regular written posts. All videos posted are 10-11 minutes in length.

I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

Video Icons not showing up to play video

When i come to play a video, it gives you a menu down the side to see what player i want to use. Most of the icons are not showing up. It gives you an Icon like a notepad with what looks like a pen and pencil crossed,and the spinning wheel is present. I am not running any other application while i am doing this.
After about 10 mins it`s all back to normal. All the original Icons are showing eg- Quicktime player ,Quicktime player 7,VLC,Real player, and Adobe Media Player. It`s happening in the first 10 mins after i have turned the computer on,and then as i said it goes back to normal.

No i have no message to verify/ repair your disk with disk utility. I am 62yrs old and i am not very technically minded. Sorry it`s an iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8) Does this disk utility automatically appear. As i have said it only happens in the first ten mins.with the spinning wheel. I can go back down now and they will all be showing you the original icons. Sorry to cause you bother.

Video Files Not Showing Up On 30GB Video iPod

I bought a few television show episodes directly from iTunes, but my 30GB Video iPod is not recognizing the files. They show up, as well as play, in iTunes, but they aren't shown in the "Video" section of my iPod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the ipod connected, in itunes, goto edit>preferences>ipod tab>Video sub tab and set it to update videos you want "AUto update ALL" or "AUto update SELECT"

Video exposure not working in all 3 video modes new iphone 6 Plus ios 8.1

Bug 1. In video mode, exposure does not automatically brighten in darkly lit areas - then when you touch the screen to focus and try and use the sun slider for upping or lowering the exposure, you have to swipe it many, many times to go a short distance, then IT ONLY WORKS TO DARKEN THE EXPOSURE, IT DOES NOT LIGHTEN IT IN ALL 3 VIDEO MODES. Bug 2: Slo-Motion videos will play back on computers in slow motion ONLY if the base frame rate is set to 60 fps and the Slo-mo speed is set to 240fps. With any other settings the computer (both win and mac) play the video back at full speed.
Especially with bug 1, can any of you check your phone to see if sliding your finger up will brighten the image while in any of the 3 video modes?

I'm having also having game sound issues the game music and sounds just go completely quiet in iOS 8.1. Sometimes it'll just be completely quiet and others I'll have game music and sounds and partway through the game I'll lose audio. It's not the side lock/mute button either which I checked.
It's happening in two different games: Shadowgun:Deadzone and Modern Combat 5.
I have that side button above the volume set to toggle mute and I tried changing it to lock rotation instead to see if that made a difference which it did not. I have to kill the game and relaunch it to get the game audio working again.

I currently have Firefox 21.0. The 'Download Video' does not appear when I play videos. Help !

If you are using Internet Download Manager, make sure that you are using latest version of IDM?

Video clips not working when opened through video ...

Its been just a week that I brought my nokia e63 but it is giving me some problems
1. the video clips get stuck after some time, then it again pauses and plays it continues,,: when opened through video clips in gallery,, whereas it works fine when opened through real player or file manager
2. I can't sync my contacts through nokia Ovi suite it gives an error:80043bd3, it says u should consider updating your phone software, whereas the phone already has the latest software installed in it
I also have tried restoring my phone, but it didn't help. The software version is :500.21.009
plz help I'm really worried coz I can't bear these problems just after 1 week of its purchase

Inserted QT Video does not export to PDF as video...why?

An inserted QT video becomes a static picture after export to PDF. I know I can handle it and Acrobat Pro by manually inserting the video, but I was hoping Pages export to PDF would be intelligent enough to do this automatically.
Is there a work around to get this to happen automatically?

Videos taken on iPad do not upload to iphoto

I have taken 30 minute videos on my ipad 2, which I want to move onto my computer. I know how to import photos and videos and often iphoto works just fine, but every once in a while the videos will not upload. The iPad shows up in iphoto and I can click on the video I want to import and press 'import selected' and it goes to a gray screen where it just says 'preparing to import'. This goes on and on and on and it never ends up importing the video. I know that this is not an issue of storage because the iPad has at least 40GB free on it and the computer (MacBook Pro) has over 100GB available. The iPad is updated and I can't think of anything else that would stop this. I have tried using Image Capture but it also doesn't work and I can't email them because 1. the videos are too large, and 2. i don't have wifi (although I do have LAN)
If you can think of any way to fix this please let me know. Thank you!

You don't if they are shot in AVCHD. You use iMovie for that material.
