Preset Patches Missing Required Samples
I've noticed that several preset patches do not produce sound and appear to be missing the required samples. Additionally, in Logic Pro the same patches give me an error saying the sample can't be found.
Does anyone know why I'm missing these samples? I installed everything that came in the box.

Couldn't understand even after going the Readme of the patch... Do i need to set the Oracle_Home to to new Oracle_home to /oracle/VIS/db/tech_st/11.2.0.3 as it not specifically mentioned

I am not sure whether this is the correct way to do it. as setting the ORACLE_HOME to the new one isn't mentioned in Readme of the Patch
Or Surely I could NOt understand it... Please suggest

Patches Vanish to "Missing/Required" Status
Hello,
I recently had an issue where SharePoint 2010 CA flagged an issue with missing patches on one of my WFEs.
Within CA I went to "Manage Patch Status." Under this particular WFE every single patch is showing "Missing/Required" under the status. This is absurd, as I manually installed all of these patches myself. Furthermore, on all the other
WFEs all of the patches show as installed. This server has been around for four years and has been patched with PSConfig run every time. I have been to the "Manage Patch Status" page many times over the years and they certainly weren't red before
with "Missing/Required." Yet, all of them seemed to vanish overnight.
I logged into the WFE and all of the patches show up as present.
What would make them disappear from the configuration database? After reading other threads, I tried running: Get-SPProduct -Local. That didn't rectify the situation, however.

There might be files missing from windows installer cache folder on server.

Itunes producer delivery erroe Missing required Field Vender Identifier
I'm submitting a new book and sample both made in iAuthor the delivery error meesage is: Missing required field: Vendor Identifier
When I click on the error message it takes me back to the ISBN number. I have checked and I am entering the correct 13 digit number without any spaces or hyphens and can't see anything else to corrrect.Thanks Fabini -

Guitar Rig 2 as audio track insert - preset (patch) change?
I'm either missing something painfully obvious, or it's even harder than I think...
I'm trying to set up to play live using Logic Express 7 for accompaniment and automated control of GR2.
I've set up an audio track with "GuitarRig2 MFX" as an insert. I can see every single parameter within GR2 as controllable with automation EXCEPT the preset (patch). I want to simply change patches at various points in the song. It seems impossible.
This is on a PowerBook G4 laptop. I am using an Edirol FA-66 (firewire) as the audio interface. I have the RigKontrol connected, but not implemented as an audio interface, as there can only be one at a time.
As an experiment, I set up a track with GR2 as an Instrument, and can change patches, but that instance of GR2 is different from the one used as an insert, so the patch change doesn't help.
So, in Logic Express 7, how do I get an automatic patch change to GR2 as an insert (plug-in) on an audio track?I haven't done this myself yet, but why would you want to do that? You can freeze the track and eliminate the CPU load.
However, if it's not CPU load that concerns you, then you could simply route the output of the track containing GR2 to a new audio track (instead of the main output), solo the two tracks, and record-enable the 2nd track. Press record and go...
I think that should do the trick...hope I didn't miss anything. -
Solaris9: smpatch analyze indicate wrongly only few patches missing
Hi,
On my Solaris 9 system (through LPS solaris 10), smpatch analyze indicates only 3 patches missing (SAN4.4.x).
But when I check with patchdiag.xref, i find it should indicates much more.
I manuallly add (patchadd) the patch 140476-01 as indicated in the last smpatch messages (2009/01/13) to take in account the new certificates and new patchset (current2).
Could you tell me what I missed and how I can recover the fully functionnal smpatch ?

Anybody know why there are a few Factory patches in the EXS24 that are missing the associated audio files? Pop Flute and Pop Horns come to mind. I've noticed this on my desktop and assumed I must have misplaced the samples somehow, but I recently did a fresh install on my new laptop and find the same thing.
Search is your friend! There are a ton of posts on this topic. Search missing content, samples, files, etc will bring up a lot of info. Many have speculated that it's a glitch in Logic's installer. Check this out:

I am getting the following error when attempting to deliver my iBooks Author book package via iTunes Producer: "
Unable to authenticate the package: B_SPACE_NUTRITION.itmsp
ERROR ITMS-9000: "OPS/ibooks.ncx(5): element "content" not allowed yet; missing required element "navLabel"" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)"
I understand that there's something wrong with the TOC file (.ncx), but I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Every section of the TOC is labeled, so not sure why the navLabel issue is happenening.

After digging through .ibooks code for hours and still not seeing the problem, I decided to reach out to one of the Apple epub conversion affiliates in iTunes Connect. They said they could repair the file without a problem, started working on it, only to come back a week later and say they couldn't work on .ibooks or .iba files yet.
So, in complete frustration, I decided to transfer my content page by page from the blank template I downloaded from a vendor online to one of the "textbook" templates in IBA. This was a long process as I had to unlock and clear out the formatting of the template. But, once that was done and content was transferred over, all was good. I submitted/delivered the same content and preview book within the new template and it went right through the first time (all metadata was exactly the same as well).
Now, the iBookstore approval waiting process begins!

The install went fine but when I go to load the program I get the an error saying I am missing required plugins (artconverters.aip, pdf format.aip, & rasterize.aip). If I open the package content in finder I can clearly see these files there. I am running OS X 10.4.11

Please reinstall InDesign.>> This is on WinXP.<br /><br />Recently I installed Creative Suite CS4. It took almost a day to install. The installation kept on stopping. Each time we were able to install one more program. After checking all of the programs we discovered that Firefox would not start due to a possible font error. After reading many posts I decided to uninstall a lot of fonts since I did not know which one was the culprit. <br /><br />However now I am missing a font (at least I hope that this is caused by a missing font and not anything else) that should be there and I don't know which one it should be. I did uninstall a <lot> of fonts and don't remember which ones.<br /><br />WE did uninstall all CS2 programs and then reinstalled only the necessary three. I have produced a book in iBooks format and filled in everything asked for including but I can't slide the file into the window area and I get a message, Missing required field: Publication. I don't understand what I need to do to complete the transaction. I hope someone can understand and tell me what to do. Thank you.
Thank you. You're dealing with an old woman doing her best here. Sorry, I was somewhat distracted when I posed the question having been wrestling with it all afternoon. Yes, I am using iTunes Producer and have filled in all the information requested including cover art. The file is saved in iBooks format.
I click on Files at top left, which I assume to be the thing to do, and get a a new page showing red circle with a number 1 in it. Clicking on that produces this :
"Drag and drop the full book that will be used on the iBooks store. Books can be in the EPUB or iBooks format. Submitting a new book version will replace the existing version on the iBooks store.
Missing required field: Publication. "
I have tried to drag and drop the file into the box on the left but it won't allow me to. Clearly something is missing but I don't know what. I am just baffled as to what is wanted. -

I have installed OER-11g version 11.1.1.7 and am successfuly able to open Asset Editor , ImpExp utility and also could harvest SOA and OSB components.
Issue 1:
However while trying to open the Navigator of the harvested components in OER console, a new window opens with two sections ( top and bottom). The top one which is a diagram view doesn't open with an error - Missing required permissions attribute in main jar: http://localhost:7101/oer-web/applets/components.aler-thinkmapclient-11.1.1.7.0.jar.
Please find the screenshot below.
Issue #2 : While trying to browse for the Assets from OER console. The below error is seen ( missing permissions for components.jexplorer-11.1.1.7.0.jar)
Could someone direct me on how to solve this issue. Appreciate your help !

Sridhar.It works for me after I did a small tweak by as mine is a demo install.
Idea - is to make an security exception for the OER url in Java control console
Steps to do that :
1.Go to the control panel and uninstall the 64 bit version of Java
Open Programs and Features and select the 64 bit version of Java and select Uninstall.
2.Open up the Java Control Panel
Found as an option in the standard windows control panel
3.Check the version by clicking on the About Tab
If this is not what you expected you can go to java.com and download the latest version.
4.Click on the Security Tab in the Java Control Panel
5.Click on the Edit Site List button in the lower RH corner of the control panel
6.Add your URL to be allowed
Enter the full path that you use to access this such as https://myequallogics.com or the IP address if that is how you access it (as in http://192.168.0.100 - Https is recommended by Oracle.) Once complete hit OK. You should now see the exception on the security page.
7.Close out of the control panel.
8.You can now acess your site through the browser window.

To save to the server, correct the invalid or missing required fields.
We have a SharePoint 2010 document library that has a required field that is from an external data source. When we open existing Excel documents, a ribbon appears stating "To save to the server, correct the invalid or missing required fields.".
If you go File>Info>Document Information Panel you will see this external data source field with a Red Asterisk and it says "Show Details". If you click "Show Details" it will show you the "Document Properties - Server"
toolbar and you will see this field populated. It is however read only, and I believe that it is because its an external data source. It will not let us save any excel documents as it seems that Excel feels this field is empty or incorrect.
The same happens with Microsoft Word documents, in that if you open an existing document and go to the document control panel you will see the external data field with a Red Asterisk and it says "Show Details". If you click "Show Details"
it will show you the "Document Properties - Server" toolbar and you will see this field populated but read only; the difference is with the Word documents we can save and close the documents. If we upload a new excel document, it behaves
just like word documents, so it seems its only applicable to existing excel documents.
Over the past 2 weeks we have upgraded from SharePoint RTM to SharePoint SP2. This is has never been reported prior to the upgrades so I am assuming, but cannot confirm, if it was caused by the upgrades.
I see there are workarounds online for Word, but nothing for excel.
Any help for further troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

According to your description, the error will occur when saving the documents in the library which has an external data column from client application.
The document which cannot be saved may contain invalid XML information or invalid XML properties.
I recommend to remove the invalid XML information before you save the documents:
Open the document in corresponding client application.
Click File, click Info, click Check for issues, and then click Inspect Document.
In the Document Inspector dialog box, accept the default options, and then click Inspect.
In the Document Inspector dialog box, click Remove All, and then click Close.

Missing Required Parameter 'from' for event 'open' -- InDesign CS3 Error
Now that I've upgraded to OS 10.6, and I'm getting this weird error message (Missing Required Parameter 'from' for event 'open') when I open CERTAIN InDesign files by double-clicking on the icon. Other files open okay. Everything SEEMS to open okay when I open CS3 and go to FILE and OPEN.
Anyone else having this problem? Any advice?I was having this problem too and then noticed that the files that would not open had special characters in the name, # or % for example.
I changed the name to exclude these characters and they all opened just fine.
If that doesn't work, it may be, if you use it, Suitcase Fusion. Extensis says that if your computer name is too long or also has special characters in it that it could be a problem in OSX 10.5 and later. Go into System Preferences/Sharing and edit your name to within 20 simple characters.
