Pressed "Run New installation" button while installation
Hello Experts,
I faced this issue one time that when i re-started the installation (had to stopped due to one error), accidentally clicked on "New installation" (By default this option is enabled) button which comes to first phage and took me again 2 days to complete the installation. I stopped that installation instantly but failed, gone to fresh installation.
Now my query is, Can we go for old installation, at what phage it was stopped earlier ?
I know it will help for so many persons.. Waiting for your valuable replays...

First I would identify everything in about:config that refers to Yahoo.
Then I would remove everything about the Yahoo toolbar that is left that you don't want.

I've same problem in iPhone 5c. I was using iPhone 4, problem appears after updating to ios7. I changed my phone to iPhone 5c, looks like it's a bug in ios7. But I think you might not turn on or off your internet connection frequently to reduce this problem. My friend has a same iPhone she never gets such problem like this cause she uses iPhone 5c with Tata Docomo (India) 2g with no internet connection. May be this would be the best solve that you should not turn on or of your internet connection so frequently...

How to press "Call" or "Send" button while you're talking??
Normally, cell phones have a "Call" or "Send" button outside the screen. So you when you're talking to someone, you'll be able press "Call" button. For example, I called a company and they needed me to press the number xxxxxxxxxxx and press "Send" or "Call" to send the data I just typed from my phone.
But I don't know how to do this with iPhone? Any idea how to do it?
Thank you in advance.When on a call, tap the keypad button. The DTMF tones are generated in real-time (as you tap the numbers) so there's no need to 'send' them after entering them. This is how I enter teleconference PINs, etc., routinely. You may need to slow down your entry a bit.

StageTextInputSkin press android ICS back button while in textinput without softkeyboard closes app
Try this on an android 4.0 device.
Put a StageTextInputSkin TextInput (same issue with stagetextarea).
Click it to activate the softkeyboard. Click the back button which will minimize the softkeyboard. Click the back button again and it will close the app.

Cannot press SEND / NEW MAIL button in MS Outlook Web Access
I am completely upset after updating the iphone os 4.1 because i cannot simply send email using the MS outlook web access. FYI I can still view the email but cannot send. my company doesnt allow me to use the POP (similar to yahoo) for security reason and hence i must need to use the webmail (via internet).

Settings > Safari > Autofill > Names & Passwords "Set to OFF".

Single press iPhone 4 home button multitask....
Hi my name is Raj... I'm having a issue but I don't really know is it a serious issue or not... I want to really know weather anyone experience this problem... My problem is when the 1st time I bought my iPhone 4 I realize that when I press the home button once it multitasks... This happens 10/100 times daily when I press the button... The. I took it to shop and told the phone dealer about tis he checked and fix it for me but after that I still realize the same problem 5/100 time daily when I press the button.... I what to know does anyone experience this problem??? Please dohelp me because it's been 8 months only I bought the phone... But when I press my home button it's not hard it is till new and the butto respond quickly but sometimes this problem happen like press once it multitasks.... Ease help me out with it....
Hi, idk if you solved your problem already. I have the exact same problem with my iphone 4s but I am running ios8 (and problem just started after the upgrade), it's very annoying. And I don't like this reset and restores over and over again when something is wrong either (no offense meant).
If you are not running ios8 since you have iphone 4 maybe this fix works for you.
I tried this fix and it didn't work for me, try it yourself. Try to recalibrate the home button. There is lots of articles about this but I try to describe here the steps:
- Open and app ios native, mail weather etc
- press the sleep/wake button while in the app until you see the turn off option (dont turn it off)
- now press the home button until the screen vanishes and turns on again. the app should now be closed in your multitask screen and the home button is now recalibrated.
Still waiting for some update from apple anyway

After running the installer the dock the opens up is blank with a blue dotted loading emblem and will not do anything?????. I attempted to quit the install and restart but it produced the same result. New member here, thanks for the time.

My MacBook Air becomes unresponsive when logging in, and I decided to reinstall OS X Lion. When running the installer from OS X Recovery, it gave the error message "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again."
Checking in the log revealed the following error:

From the recovery menu, select the Terminal application. Run the 'date' command to confirm the date is wrong, then set the correct date using this command: date {month}{day}{hour}{minute}{year}
e.g. date 1219195613
Exit terminal (type exit). Retry the installation.

I installed 10g AS version 10.1.3.1. I am having this issue while running the installation:

I am not sure what the following are for and what values i should for them so i commented them
#Oracle Notification Server Request port = port_num
#Oracle Notification Server Local port = port_num
#Oracle Notification Server Remote port = port_num
#ASG port = port_num

Port numbers less than 1024 are privileged ports on Unix/Linux. In order for OHS to run on one of the privileged port (e.g. 81 and 441 in your case) you must enable OHS to run as root. By default OHS runs a non-root user, the user that installed Oracle Application Server.
So to start with installer do not specify custom (static) ports and complete the installation. OHS will be assigned some non-privileged port by installer. Post installation follow the instructions here to change the ports to 81 and 441:

I installed Apex 3.21 by previosly deleting my former apex version with apxsremov
and executing the apexinst skript.
That script runs fine but during validation it throws out the error :

After running the installer I chnaged the passowrd of admin using both
@apxxepwd
and
@apxchpwd
If I try to login I always get the "Invalid Login Credentials"-error.
During the examination of my Apex_030200 schema I found out that the login trials are logged in
the WWV_Flow_user_access_LOG1$ table with authentication result = 1.
I didn't find any entry in the WWV_FLOW_FND_USER table.
Does someone of you know what's wrong with my installation and how to fix the problem ?
I would be happy about every hint.

Can you show all of the errors in your log, or is that all of them?
If you connect as SYS and run validate_apex, what shows up?

Booting issue on a new installation on Acer Aspire 4752 laptop.
Hi All,
I have done a new installation of OS on a Acer laptop stated above. However, due to some reason, during the booting up process, it will always stuck at screen right before it enter into the logon screen. I will have to press
Enter in order to move it, as if there is a "press Enter to continue...".
After this "enter" key, everything else works normally. However, this is pretty annoying and I could not sent this laptop back to my enduser because of this trivial issue.
Some other information as below:
This is a new OS and no other apps is installed. Though now it is patched (with Microsoft patches). But it happens since the first boot after install.
In according to Device Manager, all drivers are in place. No exclamation mark and error.
Event Viewer shows no error for the boot up.
Safemode (command prompt) shows that it is stuck at loading "classpnp.sys".
My questions:
It will be good if there is already a resolution. :)
How to diagnose, or identify which apps actually waiting for that "enter" to move on?

Hi,
For the boot issue, first I suggest you use startup repair if you have an installation disk, check if it can detect and fix some certain problems.
Or run sfc/scannow in command prompt in recovery console, check if it can make any difference.
If doesn’t work, then try “Enable boot logging”, then check the log called ntbtlog.txt, usually located in system drive\Windows.
