Pressing Green button during call sounds alarm

Has anyone else noticed this? If you are on a phone call and accidentally press the green button, the Blackberry sounds an annoying high pitched alarm for about three seconds. Fortunately, the person on the other end does not appear to be able to hear it, but the conversation is interrupted during that time period.
Does anyone know how to turn off this incredibly annoying feature?

I didn't face such issue with my phone with Bold and 8310!!! I will chcek with other devices and will let you know if those have the same issue like yours.

Has nothing to do with the SIM or master reset. This has been done to my phone. The SIM once and the factory reset many times over. You all just sold us a bad piece of equipment and have us by the tail with our contracts so none of us can get a new phone without paying full price or re-upping our contract. I just got off the phone last night with your high up tech people (you know, the hidden number we get once we tear into your support people enough), they went into my phone again and still didn't find anything wrong. I about got fired from my job for not getting my calls and texts. The BBB has now been contacted, and I feel your end should shore this up for all of us!

2nd Loch Ness?- Ominous SEND button during call

Does anyone of you guys know what it is and what it does?
HOW DID IT APPEAR?
During a call today (I was getting called) I put the phone on the desk, making the display turn on again. In the top part of the screen, where you can find the caller ID and a timer for the call, there was a little black button called SEND. It was placed to the right of the call timer. Height of the button was round about the same right as the timer fonts.
Pressing it didn't do anything notable for me. However after having pressed the button it disappeared and I could not bring it back so far.
Searching the web didn't answer my question what this function does and how to evoke this mysterious button again.
Has anyone seen it too? If yes, did you figure out what it is for?

There are dedicated VERY big buttons for multicall management in the middle of the screen. I am talking about a TINY little button that I have never ever seen before which appeared in the top part of the phone screen where you can see the party you are talking with and the timer of the ongoing call.
Anyone who can help?

ITunes 11: No miniplayer when pressing green button

As the title states, when i press the green button in the new iTunes 11, it just makes the window bigger, and won't go to miniplayer like with 10 and previous versions. Is there some way to change this, because this is a major dealbreaker for me since i use that a lot, cmd-option-m is a little rediculous for the same thing.

My face is hitting mute button during calls

I did a search on this topic, but I haven't found my problem.
I read about a proximity sensor so the screen turns off during calls or close to your face. So far I haven't noticed the screen go off at all. Is there something in settings I need to activate?
Where is the sensor on the phone? I have a case but I won't think it's covering anything?
It's VERY annoying, so any advice would help out.

More than likely the case you are using is blocking or partially blocking the iPhone's proximity sensor.
To determine this, remove the case and place or receive a call without using the case. If the same does not occur without using the case, bingo.
The proximity sensor and light sensor are located to the left of the earpiece with the iPhone 3G. They are in a different location with the first generation iPhone.

Buttons being pressed in error during calls?

When I'm talking on iphone my face keeps pressing the mute button. This is very aggravating because while I'm talking I push the mute on accident and then the person I'm talking to can't hear me, then they hang up. What can I do to correct this?
Also my brightness setting is set to Auto-Brightness ON, but it does not change with the light around it, Sunlight, and Nighttime.
I purchased a "DLO" silicone protective cover for my phone. Is this covering up some sensor on the phone? Is there a better case out there that does not cover sensors and where to get it.

Very well could be the case especially if you bought one made for the original iPhone and you have the iPhone 3G.
Just take it out and see if it gets better (as the screen should turn off when you bring to your face unless one of the sensors is covered).

Face pressing against screen during calls

Hello, I have had my iphone for a few days and when I am using the phone my face presses against it barely and it will end the call or put them on hold. Is there something to do about this?

Hey guys, you know there is a smple soulution to the problem . . lock the phone while on the call.
While this problem dosent ever happen to me, I have notice that while using the phone, epsecialy while in motion walking ect. there is a chance of shifting the phone a bit to where light hits the sensor and then your cheek may touch one of the commands, so if its important or causing problems just lock it and the phone will not drop or mute or hold the call unless you slide the slider . . .
which I'd have a hard time believing your cheek could do that.;)

Since the latest BB10 update, the # symbol has become a "send" button during calls which appears to operate the same way as the green phone button so if pressed during a call it initiates a new call.
Problem is I have to use the # button on my company's teleconferencing service (webex) to dial into calls. It is intensely annoying that every time I dial into a call the blackberry initiates a new one which needs to be dropped before I get into my call. This happens twice for every call. Once for the call number and once for the attendee number. Anyway I can switch this "feature" off?

Im not sure if this is a "feature", can you try running the BlackBerry Virtual Expert and run a keypad test?

How to stay back on same section of a report after pressing cancel button

Hi,
How we can stay back on a same section of a report page when I press Cancel button or Apply Changes button from linked Data Entry Form. For instance if I have a 200 rows in a report and I scroll down to 80th row and press Edit button when called a data entry form. Now when I press Cancel it again re-load the report from the start of the page.

SUBMIT RFWT0010 WITH vendor       = 'X'
                 WITH i_lifnr IN i_lifnr
                 WITH i_bukrs IN i_kunnr
                 WITH test         = 'X'
                  AND RETURN.
The output of RFWT0010 is displayed. but on pressing "back" button on toolbar, the flow is coming back from RFWT0010 to calling report. I want that On pressing ENTER button of keyboard. The flow should come back to calling report.

Unable to press any key during Start Up

I need help regarding my notebook HP Pavilion dm1. Its a very long story but I will try my very best to cut it short. So here it goes.....
My younger sister got that laptop from her school. So about installing of things including Mircosoft Words, Adobe Flasplayer etc, was done by my sister's EX fiance. For months everything when smooth only up till now. I realize the User was under his name. i couldn't seek my sister's EX fiance as they broken off 3 months ago and is no longer contactable. Everything I do, including trying to update the notebook (was alerted by the notebook itself via a pop-up window at the bottom corner right hand side), it seems that I couldn't update. Now even icon such as Google Chome, Safari even the HP webcam is not functioning. I tried to update my iPhone via iTunes in the notebook like I normally do, but now, it says I need to update the notebook to its latest version. How am I supoose to update when I got problem updating? You know what I meant hopefully. I decided to Restore everything back to factory setting (thinking that it might help).
So here comes the problem...
I research about how to restore the notebook. Was written that when I switch on the notebook, I have to press ESC button. I did as written. When I am already at the Start Up menu, I tried pressing fn followed by f11, nothing happen. I am still stuck on the same page and after 1 minute, every button i press seems to beep.
So I have a few question to ask.
1) What is actually now the problem?
2) How can I restore back the laptop to factory setting?
3) Why I don't seem to be able to press any button during the time I was at the Start Up menu?
4) Why can't I update the notebook to its latest version?
PLEASE HELP!! ITS URGENT AS MY DEAR YOUNG SISTER HAS ASSIGNMENT TO DO VIA HER NOTEBOOK!!

Not entirely certain as to what the message of updating to the current version is in reference to. The context of the message could reveal more about it.
However, I do recommend doing a system recovery back to the factory defaults.
You mentioned pressing the Fn + F11 key. You should just press the F11 key by itself.
This should get the recovery process started.
NOTE: Backup anything that is important before continuing. A recovery will erase all files and get it back to an out of the box experience.
1. Power off the notebook completely.
2. Power the notebook on.
3. Press the F11 key repeatedly as soon as you let go of the power button.
4. This should eventually bring you to a black screen with a grey progress bar at the bottom saying windows is loading files. At this point, you can stop pressing the F11 key. Pressing the F11 key repeatedly, about once a second, is needed as there is a small window to press the F11 key and Windows will load normally instead of the recovery. So, just press F11 about once a second and it should get the ball rolling.
5. The recovery manager should load shortly giving you all the options to do the factory reset.
After you are back into Windows, perform all Windows updates (there will be a lot). If you need an anti-virus program, Microsoft provides Microsoft Security Essentials at no charge. I recommend having an anti-virus software over none.
Let me know what happens with the recovery process listed above. If you get any error messages, be sure to report that exact error message back.
Also, what is the exact model of the notebook? Knowing the exact model will help in the event the standard procedure does not work.

How do I set focus to a text field after I click a button that calls a webservice?

I have a web service that returns back a table. In order to show the values in the table I had to check the re-merge Form Data on the Webservice Button. My question is , How do I set focus to a field on the screen after re-merge happens.

I was reading SetFocus documentation and it says
You cannot use setFocus with the form:ready, layout:ready, or initialize events.
What I need is an event like doc:ready or someother event where I can put the set focus code in. doc:ready was triggered when the form first loads which is great and I was able to put my Initial setfocus. When I pressed the button that calls the webservice and thr re-merge happened doc:ready event was not triggered so now I am not sure where to put the set focus.

IPhone 4 stays lit during calls

My iPhone 4 stays lit during calls. It causes me to hit the mute, FaceTime and contact buttons during calls. I took my otter box off and it still does this. Can anyone help me?

This is Proximity Sensor problem. This sensor is located on the Power Button Flex Cable. If the iPhone front screen has been replaced this is known problem. Restore iPhone with current iTunes on computer.

Alarm sounds during call

I have several regularly scheduled alarms. However, if I make a telephone call and it happens to occur during a scheduled alarm, it plays during the call and the other party can hear it. Thus, it seems very rude to have an alarm play during a telephone call. Is there a way to postpone an alarm until after you are finished with a call?

I have the same problem (doesn't everyone?). I've complained to Apple about it before, and I'm getting ready to send it in again, but I figured that I should check the Discussion groups first in case I've missed something.

Home button didn't work during call

I just updated to ios 8 on my iPhone 5. Today when I was on the phone an alarm I had set went off. So I tried to double-tap the home button to get to the main screen to turn it off and it wouldn't work. I tried going to speaker mode and that made it worse. All I could do was end the call, turn the alarm off, and then call the person back. How do I get to the main screen when in a call now? Has that changed?

The home button did nothing. Not a single tap, a double tap. It usually would take back and the green bar at the top would say "tap to return to call." Maybe my button is broken, or maybe it was the combo of the phone call and alarm going off. But I couldn't turn it off without ending the call.
