Prevent automatic picking for delivery

HI Experts
Dispite not having condition record for WMTA, automatic picking is happened for my delivery for STO.
OvrllPickStatus C Fully picked
OverallWMStatus B Open transf ord item
Kindly advise how to prevent this.

First of all, I dont understand what do you mean by WMTA. Nevertheless, in standard, either you can activate picking or deactivate picking via 0vlp. Even if you activate, you have to key in manually the picking quantity and system will NOT fetch automatically.
If the system has fetched automatically in your case, then check whether any delivery exit is in place.

You can go to LT03, put the Warehouse number, Delivery number , Plant, select back ground and press enter, your Picking will be done .
Now you can again check the Delivery document, in the picking overview screen you will find now the delivery quantity has been copied as picking quantity. You need not have to enter the picking quantity manually.As Delivery quantity and picking quantity has to be same that is why system copies it automatically.
Another way, go to VL02N, in the Menubar click on "Subsequent function" > Create Transfer order and proceed.

Different storage location automatically pick for same material code

Hi,
As per my requirement,
We have two storage locations i.e Return Location and Finished Location and single plant and single shipping point.
At the time of Normal delivery system should be automatic picked Finished Location and return delivery system have to pick Return Location only.
I tried to do Storage location determination but system is not picking correct location. Kindly guide me.

Can I prevent automatic failover for a period of time?

We have two Exchange 2013 servers (and a witness server) in a DAG. They are all VMWare virtual. We have recently migrated our 500 users from Ex2007 to Ex2013, so there is a bit of a learning curve for us. One of the servers "A"
is has a better hardware situation than the other "B" server that is offsite. They both have the same memory and hard drive sizes. We would like to keep the databases active on the better A server. There was a situation with our
primary A server the night before that caused the databases to be activated on the B server which in turn caused B to run all the resources up to 100% and be very. I was able to move the active databases back to A and put B in maintenance mode so
that it won't fail over to B for right now until we can get B a better hardware situation.
Question is: Is it possible for B to keep getting the logs played to the server so that if there were a catastrophic failure on A, we could essentially activate the databases on B we would be fine. I don't want it to be activating on B on
its own. I don't want to break the DAG because we want it to be able to eventually be used as designed, but it may be a month or two. Essentially, can we put the DAG in a manual mode?

Dear Friend,
Can you please tell me how to do the automatic picking for the delieveries.
after collective processing of the deliveries.
We donto have transportation ,shipments ,Transport order . Warehouse managements activated.

Now tell me One thing in the Transaction Vl06O
I am getting the deliveries which are relavent for picking .
Without Warehouse management.
How can I process all the delivery picking in background without doing it seperately.
When I try to do the back ground thing...
It appears transfer order for picking
I tried with all the option:
the following Mesage appears:
WM-TO: 0 deliveries successful, 0 with errors, 1 not relevant

WMTA output type for delivery note.

hey experts
we are using output type WMTA (automatic TA) for delivery note with Medium 8 (Special Function) & date/time 4 (send immdiately when saving appli).
In production server when user save delivery WMTA trigger with ZPLF(std delivery outpt type) in 2nd line and print the doc.
but
In Dev & Qas server when i save the delivery document. it only trigger WMTA and it is not printing the delivery note
i guess unless until WMTA not trigger with ZPLF printing is not possile.
i want know how WMTA output type trigger with ZPLF output type in Production Server.
Why WMTA not triggering the ZPLF in DEV & QAS.

   I looked at the analysis output. ZD04 output is what i am after. Don't understand the followings:
Q1 - why the ordering in anaylsis is different than in output determination procedure. For example:
In Analysis Output: i have:
LDOO    - Output not found
MAIL     - manual output
PLOO    - Output not found
Z940    - Output found
ZBOL   - Output not found
ZD04   - OUTPUT NOT FOUND
The Output Determination Procedure as:
Step Counter   CType
10       1           LD00
12       1           ZLFX
13       0           LALE
14       1           ZBOL
20        2          MAIL
75       1           ZD04
90       1           PL00
110      1          Z940
Step 10 should be read , then step 12, and so on. Why is the ordering in procedure different than in
output analysis ?
Q2. Why did it display ZD04 not found when ZD04 appear on the delivery output as green light ? When i drill down, it show 2 access sequence. Access 10 stated Output found. Access 20 stated Output not found.

In Cross company code process, we have to create TO automatic by using wave pick for outbound delivery NLC (delivery type NLCC). Time data in outbound delivery NLC have been fulfilled, but there is no TO created, what is wrong in this? pls help.

As per my understanding we have terminology WT & WO in EWM.

Automatic TO creation for delivery

Dear Experts ,
We are facing a problem with Automatic TO creation for delivery only in some storage types ( not all the types , some types are working fine )
The problem happened after we applied a user exit for a specific picking strategy , but even after we have cancelled that user exit still problem remained.
We have checked the following settings, and everything seems fine:
1-Warehouse management - Activities u2013 transfers u2013 define Mvt type
2-Warehouse management u2013 interfaces- Automatic TO creation

Hi Malik,
You mentioned that you have previously implemented the picking user-exit and removed it later. Did you enter the correct picking strategy for the effected storage types after removing the user-exit? This could be one reason.
What happens when you try to create the TO manually?

Creation of TO Automatically for Delivery

Hi All
Our Storage type is SU Managed Bulk Storage Type , accordingly we have maintained in material master WM2 different storage unit types,also set up indicators in WM1 for removal and palcement strategies.
Now our requirement is as below...
1. TO creation for delivery - TO is not confirmed automatically ,when we try to confirm manually either forground or
    background,sytem prompts to enter storage unit number manually.
    We would like this to be automated ie the storage unit number should be picked up automatically by the system during TO
   creation and also TO should be confirmed and created.
2.Can we automate creation of TO at the time doing PGI.
3.We would also like to print the TO automatically after PGI.

Go to LE - WM - Interfaces - Inventory Management - Activate Automatic TO Creation - Movement types - Assign
Here for your WH No select the movement type 601 and delselect TR creation & Immed.TO creation
For Goods Receipt
Go to LE - WM - Activities - Transfers - Set Up Autom. TO Creation for TRs / Posting Change Notices
Automatic TO creation - Control data      here for the secon WH No where you do not want auto TO remove the
tick mark
Also make relevant changes in in the next - Movements - assign control   select the WH no and the movement
no and check for auto TO setings.

Automatic picking of posting change delivery HTP

Hello,
We wanted to implement ARM. When we have follow-up activity as "Receive into plant" and Action "transfer to free available stock", delivery of type HTP gets created.
As per standard, if we want to create automatic TO for picking of this delivery type in case of WM managed plants, we need to configure WMTA output type.
But in our case WMTA is getting triggered after HTP delivery creation still, picking is not done and TO for picking is not created automatically.
But for other HOD delivery type, picking and TO creation is executed automatic after WMTA output is triggered.
Reason i feel is that storage type search is not getting performed in case of posting change delivery.
In our HTP delivery, 343 is posted at IM level and 309 at WM level.
Could you please let us know if storage type search is the issue here ? Also do we have any specific config for storage type search specific to posting change, because for outbound we have defined storage type search perfectly. It is not working only in the case of posting change deliveries.
Or is there some other reason for not getting delivery picked of type HTP ?
Any help is highly appreciated.

Automatic picking in the delivery

Hi All,
How automatic picking is done in the delivery document. I am creating delivery document with reference to purchase order then I am entering picking quantity manually and performing PGI. I want picking quantity should be equal to delivery quantity and that should be picked autoatically. Please note, in this case there is no warehouse is involved ( Transfer order is not required).

I got answer for my quetion:
See OSS Note 401159 re: old "SD Picking" functionality (to which EK00 belongs) and new Lean WM / full WM functionality (to which TO's/transfer orders belong).
If you use WM, and TO's, then yes, the Delivery output WMTA can be used to automatically generate a TO for a delivery. Then, separately in WM configuration you would configure a pick list output of some kind that is triggered by the TO.
If you use "SD Picking" then you need to trigger a Picking output (as opposed to a Delivery output) to get a printed picklist. EK00 is the standard picking output type for a picklist for a single delivery. In transaction VP01SHP, to maintain the print parameters for EK00, go to the "Shipping (Spec.case)" group/paragraph.

Automatic Picking giving error while saving the Delivery

We have done the configuration for doing automatic picking while saving the delivery.
Steps done are
1. TCode V/38
2. TCode OVLT where we have changed the Time value form 3 to 4 for Send Immediate
3. TCode VP01SHP where all shipping points are maintained.
we are getting the following error while saving the delivery.

Execute ST22 and go through the explanation given under the tab "Error analysis" and "How to correct the error". Ask your ABAP team to look into this if you are not able to find out the root cause of the issue.

Automatic creation of Delivery Notes in pick transaction

In the pick transaction, when you have a lot of lines with a lot of Delivery adresses, the button (Deliver) creates automatically all the Delivery notes.
That's fine but all the documents remains open until you add them manually in the system.
I have a customer who creates many hundreds delivery notes at the same time.
I wish a button (Create and Add) which automatically create and add every Delivery Notes;

unless the standard program is modified you cannot do auto pgi. However batch jobs can help creating a delivery afer sales order. But incase WM is implemented then we can for the required delivery movment types create an automatic transfer order and confirmation. This brings us closer to some extent in the task. Then schedule again a job that does PGI.
can you please however explain the business need for auto pgi. It helps us to learn something as well.

Hi Amit,
I will explain how you set up this automatic picking, and then you can
work backwards from there. The automatic picking you are experiencing
is actually related to the output type EK00 assigned to your shipping
point.
Consider the following two setup steps which will result is automatic
picking:
Set the output type to EKOO, in the print picking list of the shipping
point in customizing.
Make sure the parameters below are set:
Message Language
Number of Messages
Send Time              <<<<<<<<<<< this must be set to 4 (send immed)!!
Transmission Medium
1) you have to set the parameters for EK00 in the shipping-point-
   maintenance in customizing:
          -> Enterprise Structure
             -> Definition
                -> Logistics Execution
                   -> Define, copy, delete, check shipping point
2) as second step you define the shipping-print-parameters in
   customizing:
           -> Logistics Execution
              -> Shipping
                 -> Basic Shipping Functions
                    -> Output Control
                       -> Define print parameters shipping
                         -> Shipping (Spec.case)
Therein there should be an entry for every shipping-point, where
you like to use the picking-list EK00!
If you have 1 & 2 setup for a particular shipping point you will
experience the "automatic" picking of deliveries.

Automatic creation of delivery for a PO

Hi,
We are in ECC 6.0. We have a requirement to automatically create delivery for a product based on PO.
Here is the scenario:
We have a sub contracting scenario where in material MAT1is made by breaking up MAT2. 1CAR of MAT1 is made from 2 CAR of MAT2 and packaged.
Now the requirement is when a when a Purchase order is created MAT1, we also manually create a delivery for MAT2s for the subcontractor to pickup the stock of MAT2 to make MAT1.
The requirement is when I create a PO for MAT1, the system should automatically create a delivery for MAT2. MAT2 is always in stock.
I hope my explanation is clear.
Can some body suggest me if there is a way to do this?

Hi,
I would try to build solution based on WF events related to PO creation. Once PO is created(saved in system), the event is being raised. Here you can build function where you check whether PO is for MAT1 -> if yes -> raise automatic delivery creation for MAT2 (two possibilities:
1. use bapi 2. batch imput).
for this, you have to have some WF knowledge.
