Hi,
As per SP13 Release Document it is possible to restrict access of certain users, for this go thru this link

Configuring syslog and generating logs for a particular period.
Hi...
I have configured syslog server and the loggin enabled on ASA device... I want to generate the complete logs for a particular period of time. How can I generate this report.. Please help meHello,
I have an idea how it might work, but it is not certainly the best solution so if you will not find any other, this might work for you.
Enable sending logs to syslog server:
logging source-interface loopback
logging
configure EEM script to run "show log" periodicaly:
event manager applet test
event timer watchdog name test_name time 60 ! in seconds -> every minute
action 1.0 cli command "show log"

Prevent "no" Under a Particular Interface
I want to figure out how I can use EEM to prevent all users from running a "no" command on a particular interface.
Normally I would right something like:
event manager applet PREVENT-POLICY-MAP-REMOVAL
event cli pattern "no *" sync no skip yes
action 1.0 syslog msg "DO NOT REMOVE A SERVICE POLICIES FROM THIS PORT"
However, this would prevent the command under all configuration modes. I just want the EEM script to protect a single ethernet port. Without using AAA authorization (local privileges) or TACACS authorization, how could I do this?Try this applet to block "no commands" under the interface.
event manager applet cmd
event cli pattern "no *" mode "interface" enter
action 1.0 syslog msg "NO Commands not allowed under interface mode"
action 2.0 set _exit_status "0" -
Deactivate logs for determinate services (interfaces)
Hi,
It´s possible to deactivate the logs for some interfaces and to have the rest active?
Regards.Hi,
I find this http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/41/b715015ffc11d5b3ea0050da403d6a/content.htm
It possible to configure in Integration Engine menu the persistence of message.
This solution is geneal for all interfaces, no for determinated messages :*(
Anyone knows any way to do this?

How to save change log for a particular standard table in ZTABLE
Hi Experts,
Wouldlike to make one ztable in R3 which should record changes made( say particualr field) in standard SAP DB table ( say TXPDAT). I think that there has to beway to do it.
Could you please share the way to achieve it?
Will appreciate a quick reply.
Thank you
Best RegardsHi,
or else do like this...
In order to maintain the log changes the main pre reuisite is to checkmark the checkbox in dataelement of table filed.
To do this...
goto transaction SE11>enter ur table name>cleck on fields tab>cleick on dataelement->click on Furthercharacterstics tab-->select the checkbox'Change Document'.
If u dont select dis the u cannot see the log entry of the particuylar field..Do like this for each dataelement for each table field...selecting all the fields is not mandatory..u can choose the table field u want to see the log report..
Once u done with dat...
Goto SCDO transaction> click on create>give a name change doc startwith Z or Y only>Follow the prodedure and in-->name of table field>enter u r TABLE NAME->click on individual field checkbox.--->insertentries..
Once u done with dis..
Goto SE16->enter CHDIR or CDPOS->press ENTER->enter u r object id>F8
U can see the new and old value of a table entry..... -

How to prevent JaxB creation of 2 Interfaces for each Element?
hi,
does any body know how to prevent JaxB creation of 2 Interfaces for each Element (The Content Interface and the element interface)?
I want to configure JaxB to use only one Interface and only one implementation Class.
Thank's,I am sorry I can not answer your question, I have got the same problem. Could you please email me to
[email protected] when you know the answer, please.
I have a question for you. When and complex type is validated, I get the object which contains the error. ( or objects ).
However. How do know the position in the actual parent object. basically. Is there a way to know exactly the position of that attribute in that object. I need to store errors strings.
The first problem derives from this one:
It is not possible to execute validate function for a primitive attribute inside an structure.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Preventing update to COPA tables for a particular Sales order type
Hi ,
We need to have incoming sales order transfer to COPA activated only for one particular sales order type activated.
Earlier we implemented note 571697 for user exit to allow COPA update only for particular sales order type.
This prevented the transfer of SO to actuals table, but off late the performance for VA01 and VA02 has decreased substantially.
Upon checking, we found this is happening because of other CE4XXXX tables (excluding CE1XXXX) which are getting updated during creation/ change of SO. as the data in these tables is huge .
If possible, please advise, right userexit to prevent update to these tables.
Thanks.
NeerajThanks for your inputs..I have few more queries on same.
Initially we had incoming sales order activated in KEKF allong with implemented SAP note 571697, which helped us to update CE1XXXX only for a particular sales order type. This was initial requirement to have system updating COPA values only for one particular sales order type. Also, KEQ3 was also activated which resulted in updates to CE4XXXX. This was not a problem initially since we had few sales orders now that plant has grown old with more sales order (resulting in huge size of CE4XXXX) VA01 is impacted..
Currently ,since we have KEQ3 activated so, Segment is created the moment we create sales order.. and table CE4XXXX is updated..
As most of you have suggested to switch off sales order in KEQ3, i need to analyze the impact of this..
From what i understand CE1XXXX will continue with updation for that order type... and CE4XXXX won't be updated in future..Please correct me if i am wrong..
Also, please advise what all can be possible impacts on COPA reporting if I switch off from now onwards (client has been using this since long) , and what all should be the precautions that i should take while doing this.

Hello!
Im trying to get Policy Agent for IIS to run on my Win Srv 2003 with IIS6 and Sharepoint Services.
I am running the OpenSSO version of Access Manager.
I have installed the agent and done the initial cofiguration.
When i try to browse the resource i get a login prompt (IIS Basic Auth)and cannot login followed by "Not Authorized 401.3"
I should get redirected to the AM Login page, shouldn't I?
I tried to look for answers in the log file but the /debug/<id> directory i empty.
Anyone know what to do?

#When the not enforced list or policy has a wildcard '*' character, agent
#strips the path info from the request URI and uses the resulting request
#URI to check against the not enforced list or policy instead of the entire
#request URI, in order to prevent someone from getting access to any URI by
#simply appending the matching pattern in the policy or not enforced list.
#For example, if the not enforced list has the value http://host/*.gif,
#stripping the path info from the request URI will prevent someone from
#getting access to http://host/index.html by using the URL http://host/index.html?hack.gif.
#However when a web server (for exmample apache) is configured to be a reverse
#proxy server for a J2EE application server, path info is interpreted in a different
#manner since it maps to a resource on the proxy instead of the app server.
#This prevents the not enforced list or policy from being applied to part of
#the URI below the app serverpath if there is a wildcard character. For example,
#if the not enforced list has value http://host/webapp/servcontext/* and the
#request URL is http://host/webapp/servcontext/example.jsp the path info
#is /servcontext/example.jsp and the resulting request URL with path info stripped
#is http://host/webapp, which will not match the not enforced list. By setting the
#following property to true, the path info will not be stripped from the request URL
#even if there is a wild character in the not enforced list or policy.
#Be aware though that if this is set to true there should be nothing following the
#wildcard character '*' in the not enforced list or policy, or the
#security loophole described above may occur.

For the agent itself check that the naming.url is correct. the agent username and passwords are correct, and see that the user has priviledges to write to the agent log files. Apart from these post the windows event logs. -

Please have a look and guide where to find a problem
Thanks aheadHi Hooi,
I'd like to know whether you can build successfully in your local machine with MSBuild. You have to build succeed with MSBuild beore you can build with TFS Build since TFS build use MSBuild as its default compiler.
From the error message, you might build with wrong platform for your project. Please check if the build platfrom is proper. If you have customization of your build process template, it would be better to elaborate the reproduce steps and customization details.

No data in Application failure Analysis report for a particular application alone.
Dear All,
We are not able to get the data in Application Failure Analysis report from Appadvisor for a particular application(say ABC) alone, whereas it works fine for different application. Also,we could get the data from other reports(such
as Application status,Problem distribution analysis, etc) for the same application(ABC). PFB snapshot for your reference.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Rajesh Kumar CHi,
Is there any error message when you run Application Failure Analysis report for the specific application?
Does this application have any failure alerts?
You may also look into operation manager even logs to check is there any errors or warnings.
Regards,
Yan Li

Need help to enable trace/logging for java debugging CRM 5.0 WebShop
Dear experts,
I'm new to sap, and i'm working on CRM 5.0 WebShop J2ee application with nwdi.
I have to add a new functionnality, which has to call a custom FM in CRM. This FM has been tested and is OK.
I have read the 2 files SAP_ISA50_DevAndExtGuide.pdf and ISA50_DevAndExtTuts_v1_0.pdf which have explain to me the process flow and organization of the framework.
By helping me with the tutorials, I wrote all the files for my functionnality, from the jsp with the form, to the custom business backend with the call of the FM with parameters and JCo connection. (+ custom BOM, custom BO, BE interface, BE CRM implementation)
Everything builds without error, and I deploy the application on my test env.
Then I go to my webapp, I call the custom jsp with form, I put values, then I validate the form, but my FM is not called, and I don't know where is the problem, because I can't see a trace of the process flow, to know where is the error.
By searching in this forum I found 2 notes that explain how to activate debug trace for all the application, one note for systems before SP11 and another for systems with SP11 and higher. But I don't know how to see the patchlevel of the system (I went to system information of the j2ee server and the on ly thing I can notice is below the server0 properties : Kernel Version: 7.00 PatchLevel.
In these notes I read about Visual Administrator : I found this directly on the server with remote desktop, but the progress bar at the bottom of the window don't arrives to 100% and I can't see the properties and values of the parameters for the Log.
I went to XCM too, and set appinfo and logfiledownload to true, then went to Logging into e-commerce administration console : in the Log configuration tab, I can create new configurations but the effective severity automatically sets to error, even if I set All or Debug manually ; in the session log tab, i tried to launch the application, then start log, then validate my form, then stop log, but I can't find anything about the trace of the process flow in the generated file.
Please help, I have to finish this for end of week and I'm alone ...
PS I'm french, and don't speak very well English please excuse me.
Thank you very much.
