Prevent Mozilla from Pushing Content That Ovverrides Home Page

1) I open Firefox.
2) Mozilla overrides my home page. Yes, my home page opens but not on the active tab. Instead another tab opens which basically does nothing but brag about the latest version of Firefox.
3) How do I prevent this? (This appears not to be a simple matter of setting the home page. The desired home page was set a long time and is still set. Mozilla just overrides the desired home page.)
What do I do to prevent this? Is it possible to prevent this? Is it possible to figure out when this is to occur so I can check to see if I have a macro scheduled that will be abended and require manual intervention?

I have heard of this situation before, but, like most Apple Mail problems, it is a problem on the recipient's side. There should be no reason that a recipient can't save an inline image from an e-mail message. For years, Apple has bent over backwards to construct messages that PC clients will be able to view. Obviously there are limits as to what they will do.
If you want to follow the standard procedure and hack up your e-mail for the benefit of others who refuse to upgrade, you can try Attachment Tamer. You could also try Microsoft Outlook. This won't change the underlying problem. It will just make it Microsoft's problem to deal with.

Define "cannot rearrage." Exactly what did you do and exactly what happened?
Did you press on the icons until they wiggle, slide them to the page you want and then press the home button?

You can add a message to the login page by signing on as SYSTEM and navigating to Administration -> Manage Login Message. The text displays on the lower left of the Login page.

Hello,
From my 8330, I used the bb browser to go to the default "Blackberry Bookmarks" homepage..
Under what's hot, it lists "New Blackberry Web Signals"...
That link displays several web signals or push content providors.
I chose the "MTV: Indecision 2008 Blog".

That link installed an icon on my blackberry device that I cannot remove.
Can anyone tell me how to remove it and/or unsubscribe from that web signal?

Unfortunately for me, that link has been removed from the blackberry page now.

It leaves me in a heck of a predicament. There's got to be a way to block content from a provider that's pushing content and doesn't offer an unsubscribe, right?

Sales Order - Prevent user from creating more that one schedule line

Is it possible to prevent users from adding lines (rows) in the schedule line tab of VA01/VA02 ? Our requirement is that one item will have one only schedule line, the quantity cannot be split into different dates.

There are 2 schedule lines with different dates for a single line item in a sales order because of forward scheduling done by the system
System does backward scheduling first and if it fails then it does forward scheduling and that is why you find 2 different schedule lines
In configuration you can restrict the system to do only backward scheduling and stop after that
I am not infront of SAP now to tell you exactly where is the configuration available
I think it is Logistics execution--delivery scheduling
But This config is definately available in standard system to avoid 2 or more schedule lines for a single line item in a sales order
But i am not able to understand what is the business logic for such a requirement because i feel it will create a lot of problems
with this requirement

Prevent Flash from Exporting content outside border?

Hi,
I'm rather new with Flash, and although i can comfortably get
on and develop the animations I need, onething is baffling me and I
can't find the answer here in the forums...
Basically, I've imported some photos and added some motion to
them - I've set my document size, however when i go EXPORT -
FlashMovie and save the movie, it plays back just fine externally
and at the right dimensions, however if i double click to make it
large, suddenly I'm seeing all the content thats outside of my set
document size (ie the rest of the photo that is scrolling) - Now
this seems completely poitnless to be rendering anything beyond the
border dimensions i set in Flash - plus it will increase my file
size and thus dampening its effect on the web.
- Any clues as to how one stops this from happening?

I don't think we're reffering to the same thing... I'm
talking about my exported swf movie... It's set at 445x 210 but my
640 x 480 photo that pans across can be seen in its entire state if
I click the (square - maximise) button - Why does flash need to
export content outside of the document dimensions??? How does
adding another mask solve this? ...And I haven't a cluse what you
mean by option 2.

How can I prevent breadcrumbs from being used on the first page?

I'm using the latest version of the technical communication suite to produce a WebHelp
layout from a framemaker book. Thanks to all the help I've received so far it's proceeding
well, although slowly.
II have an initia l'home' page, that isn't present in the TOC, just with a program logo, a company
logo and a helpdesk address. How can I stop breadcrumbs from appearing on this page?
I'm happy for this to be the Home page and to keep the word Home, and it is a separate
document in the linked framemaker book.
Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can do this?

To each his or her own. Jeff's approach certainly will work but will require you to repeat the process each time you generate. With the approach I outlined you would only need to do things once.
As for the breadcrumbs not appearing at all, it depends on *WHERE* in the Master Page you elected to add them. In order for the approach I outlined to work, you need to ensure you add the placeholder *OUTSIDE* the Body placeholder. Then you should see breadcrumbs on the pages you have associated with the Master Page.

I cannot upgrade past 28 my dropdown menu will not work in the address bar I can not search from address bar stuck at home page

Once I open firefox browser with anything past 28.0 my browser becomes a paperweight no searches from the address bar. Not from the list of drop downs, not from typing the address in the bar. Stuck to the home page it had as default. Firefox does an update every time I close it forcing me to return to 28.0 or through my F--n computer in the trash. Noticed others had this problem but got only questions with no help coming from firefox. This is a Vista 64 bit if that maters. I kinda think maybe nothing past 28 will work but with Vista but no one from firefox will step up and say that.

Firefox 4 does not start up to my selected home page, and 'work offline' is always checked. I have gone into general tab, start up and ensured that my home page is selected. It is, but problem hasn't changed. I can't do a complicated fix.

Since upgrading Firefox 4, at start up I receive a 'problem loading page' message, which states I have 'Working Offline' checked. (I didn't check it) I go to menu and uncheck it, there are 3 tabs loaded, all the Monzilla welcome pages (congrats you have upgraded etc etc), and NOT my home page. If I hit home icon it takes me to my home page, but this is a pain in the neck. I am not tech savvy so please do NOT suggest a complicated fix. I would prefer to go back to 3.6 if possible, unless there is a simple solution to this problem

I fixed it!!! Following advice from similar posts, I searched the hard drive for "sessionrestore.js" in my Firefox Profiles folder (you'll need to enable viewing of hidden files in Windows Explorer (Tools > Folder Options > View (then select Hidden files option) then Apply to all folders) to do this). I then shut down Firefox, deleted the file and restarted - my home page was correct and it didn't try to open my old session! Some other posts suggested deleting everything called "sessionrestore" in that folder, but I didn't need to.

The following steps for your reference:
1.Open the problem site in SharePoint Designer 2013 (SPD)
2.Choose All Files option on the left hand quick launch
3.Click on default.aspx
4.On the Home tab, switch to Advanced Mode.
5.Search for "PlaceHolderPageImage" … it’s near the top
6.Paste the following on the next line (or after the closing </asp:Content> tag)
<asp:Content ContentPlaceHolderId="PlaceHolderPageTitleInTitleArea" runat="server">
<label class="">

When opening Firefox (3.6.16 or 4.0) and go to another link, firefox no longer remembers that initial (home) page.

3 computers (all Win 7, 64 bit):
1) upgraded to 4.0 from 3.6.16 and since reverted back to 3.6.16
2) upgraded to 3.6.16 from 3.6.15
3) completely new 4.0 installation.
When browser is opened to home page and any link (or bookmark) is selected, the back arrow stays grayed out and the currently selected page becomes the "anchor" page that can be returned to.
Same behavior on all three computers.

Checked this morning and all three computers' Firefox are working correctly now.
No Windows patches have been applied and no Firefox updates are evident. The only software that could have updated and been causing the problem appears to be McAfee.

Moving item from library to Daily Shelf/Home page

When I borrow a book from my local library it dowloads (through ADE) into my library "files". I can access this book from my home page through the "more" drop down window but can't move it to my Daily Shelf. Any suggestions?

The first thing I would try is dropping the ics file onto the iCal icon, rather than double clicking it. If that doesn't work, open the ics file with Text Edit and see if you can fine where the calendar name is specified and change it.

How am i supposed to prevent sm from pasting code in my JSP page?

as i was testing my JSP page i noticed that when sm places code in an input box , it seems that the page is affected by that.
Well i have a very simple form like:

What am i supposed to do? How am i supposed to prevent a user from inserting code in inputs of a form?
Also, sometimes when i was pasting code, some SQL exceptions appeared saying : Data too long for field etc.
The weird was that the data was in the limit. I'm very worried about this problem because the sql exceptions show the names of my tables and i think
that this is dangerous for malicious attacks in the website.

Preparation will not only prevent you from SQL injections, but can speed up application, if your driver uses statement caching.

Tabs from Last Session Rather than Home Page Showing Upon Start

Using FF 4.0.1 and even tho I have (and have '''''ALWAYS'''''had) "Show my Home Page Only on Startup" selected and '''''NOT''''' "Show Windows & Tabs fr. Last Time" selected, the window(s) and tab(s) from my last session have suddenly (starting yesterday) showing up every time I start up FF. (And I didn't upgrade to 4.0.1 yesterday; did that a couple wks ago. )

Using File > Exit usually works better because you close all open windows at once.
