Prevent production of item but still allow deliveries for existing stock

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know how to prevent production orders from being created for specific items, but still allow the existing stock to be delivered? I have tested with the "valid" and "on hold" checkboxes on the item master. Both of these checkboxes prevent production orders from being created, but neither one of these will allow shipment of existing stock because it says these items are frozen. I don't see any other settings on the item master or BOM that could control this scenario. Any suggestions you have are welcome. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello Jordan,
There is no out of the box solution to block only production for the item. A simple way to block without SDK programming would be by SP Transaction Notification.

hi Can you while the Power LED is blinking hold the power down don't let it go until the light disappeared.
Technically the Yoga13 should turn off while holding down the power. at least 10 to 15 sec.
I would suggest calling Technical Support if the above steps did not resolve the issue.
It's possible that when you turn on the system, it is not going to sleep but the blinking indicates failure.

I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". After two minutes of waiting IM getting message: Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server in temporary unavailable. try connecting to iTunes or try later or contat apple.com/support.

How To: Lock a folder to prevent it being deleted but still access it?

How can I lock a folder to prevent it from being moved or trashed but still have access to move/add folders within that folder?
The scenario is that we have a daily jobs folder and a final jobs folder. The daily jobs folder was accidently moved into an active job folder. I want these folders locked down so this cannot happen but when I use the lock feature nothing can be moved in or out of that folder.
Under OS9 the locked box specifically said "cannot move, rename or delete this item" yet you could add or delete items to that folder all day long.
If I try this with OSX I need to authenticate each bloody time! I just want to lock a folder down and have it accessable by anyone, anywhere, anytime without the need to type a password 80 times a day. HELP ME PLEEZE

Read only access will prevent the addition or removal of items in the folder you set the permissions on; the folders below that one have different access settings, which can be less restrictive than those for the folder you set it on.
For example, if folder A contains B and C, and B allows Read & Write access but A allows Read Only access, items can be added and removed from B, but B itself cannot be moved out of A, and other items cannot be moved in to or out of A. If a folder your account has Read access to is inside a folder which your account doesn't, you can use the Finder's Go to Folder command in the Go menu to navigate to it if its path is known.

By leaving a period unlocked or unlocked except for Sales, users are not prevented from accidently or intentionally being allowed to post journal entries or possibly documents to a period that would have been closed if it did not prevent the user from going back to change old sales orders.

The user should be allowed to lock or close a prior period and still be allowed to go back into sales orders or purchase orders from that period and make changes if they are still open.

I have a similar situation and I use views to restrict access depends on the users. I filter columns, the usersnever see the table (all columns) only the columns defined in the view

Just to make sure, did you check the ring/silent button on the side of the phone? If it is set to "mute" you can still hear your selected ringtone in settings/sound, for example.

Do you have voice service? If you have voice service but just no cellular data service, I would suggest calling your carrier as you may just have an improperly provisioned account with them, or a bum SIM card.

Camera Raw 8.3 is not compatible with CS5 so I suspect you've actually got Camera Raw 6.7 installed.
In Photoshop, click Help (Windows) or Photoshop (Mac) > About Plug-In > Camera Raw
The Nikon Df was first supported in Camera Raw 8.3 which is only compatible with CS6 and CC.

You cannot open Df Raw files in CS5 so you'll have to convert to DNG then open the DNGs in CS5.

Returned HD SET TOP BOX but still being charged for it!!!!

I canceled my FIOS TV service on June 20th, and received the return kit on July 1st. I dropped off the package at my local post office on July 5th, as it was instructed on the return kit. I boxed the cable box, placed the provided shipping label, and dropped at the local post office.
A month later, I logged online to pay my monthly bill, I see that there is charged of $350.00 for unreturned set top box. So, I traced the package with the tracking number that I got from the post office.I found out that the package is still sitting at the post office that I went, even though It was a month later. I called verizon customer service center. I told the customer service representative that I returned the box. He says that I still have to pay for $350.00 because the package didn't arrive at the Verizon within 30 days of service stopped. BUT, I dropped off the package before the 30 days. I don't know what happened to the package at the post office, I never doubted that it would sit there. THAT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!! I told him that there must been mistakes at the post office. He says that I should've brought it to the local verizon center. BUT, THAT'S NOT WHAT THE RETURN KIT SAYS!!! I FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS AS VERIZON ASKED ME TO!! DROP OFF AT ANY LOCAL POST OFFICE!!!!!! He said he will request an investigation, and I will be notified. Now, that's 2 weeks ago...
I tried online chatting and made some other calls but, gets the same conclusion " someone will call you back" which never happened....
Meanwhile, I traced the package few times more, and it started moving after I made the phone call to verizon customer service center. Last time I traced it, it was in Greensboro, NC. So, I thought it will be all ok, once the investigator reaches me.
Guess what? Today, a package was delivered to my house... the cable box that I returned...
I called in again to explain everything again and let them know the new news, but still gives me the same answer.. "wait until notified."
so now, I don't know if I should keep this box until notified, I'm afraid if I will get charged another amount.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. In landscape mode then just the charts came
Up-- I swiped to choose another stock besides
NXPI and it unstuck the app.

Disabled GL account but still allows postings

I have disabled Oracle financials account segment values with immediate effect. However, users have reported balances being posted to these accounts via an automatic upload. How can I stop this?
Presumably the account combinations are still enabled but what is the process for disabling accounts that are not in use?
IS there a checklist that I need to follow?
e.g disable all combinations using that account
then disable the account?

Once you have disabled flex values, you can run the "Program - Inherit Segment Value Attributes". This program will propogate the changes that you have made to the segment to all account combinations that contain that segment value.

I still want my kids to be able to download on each device the games or songs purchased by the other one....so I don't think I want to create separate iTunes and iCloud accounts for each.

Just use a different Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes and use separate IDs for other services such as iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, etc.
Have them go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with separate IDs. To prevent getting each other's FaceTime calls, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Restricting Access but still allowing acces to Java Apps

I have a university lab that needs to use a Marching Band charting program that was written in Java. It uses the Apple JRE. I heavily restrict application access on these Macs and I can't get the Java app to run as the check box will not stick under User Limitations.
The company says that this is an Apple bug because the User Limitations restricts access to the JRE and Java only apps won't run.
Does anyone know a way around this? I need to restrict access but they need this app.

I can't help with the mail problem, but you can always disable autologin via System Preferences->Accounts. That will prevent anyone from logging in without the password. If you have other admin accounts, either delete them or make them nonadmin accounts. To prevent anyone from booting the machine with an install disk or external HD, set an open firmware password.
