Preventing missed calls/VMs from registering in the "messages" log
I'm trying to figure out whether there is a way to get missed calls (and, preferably, notices of voicemail) delivered to a different place on the BB than notices of SMS/email. If I see the little person icon that indicates that there's a voicemail, I don't also need notice of that in the mailbox with the red star on it. Is there a way to make it stop?

home screen >> green button >> open menu >> options >> call logs
there you can choose to log nothing.
=> the phone calls you take, and the ones you miss, appear in the phone log, but no more in the messages list.

Hmm, let's ensure this is working as it should be! So what phone should be active on your account? Did you switch the devices online or how to did you activate the 5s? Please share details.

remove case and screen protector- make sure mute swith is off - clean out headphone hole with compressed air
then if no result
reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes
if still persists have repaired

Hi, I'm having a problem retrieving my missed calls. When I press the recents button it goes back to home screen. But when I press mail button and any other application the button works. I have tried restore but to no avail. Please help.

Recently I am having a problem of loading videos from Youtube.
The message " loading" keeps go on and on and nothing happens. Can you advise on how to fix this problem.
Thank you inadvance.This problem has been fixed. I rebooted my laptop after clearing my Firefox cache and deleting all cookies. Once my laptop was rebooted, I opened Firefox and now I can access the regular YouTube site, not the mobile site.

Question: when i try to purchase a movie or tv show from apple tv, the message comes back that I must go to itunes store on my computer and authorize the purchase, which I have done several times but apple tv still won't let it happen

It is not Apple that decides this. Since Apple is just the retailer, they do not own the copyrights to the content they sell on the iTunes store, if the copyright owner decides to remove something from the store that you have purchased Apple must abide by the terms of their licenseing agreements and remove it. When I send txt msgs from my phone the message shows on the recipients phone as if it came from my gmail account. What causes this? I'd like to correct this because when I receive their reply it sometimes shows up as an email.
I go into Messages there is a Send & Receive selection. My email address
is showing. I select Send & Receive and mu phone and email address is
there. A check mark is next to my email address. Is this the problem? I

everytime i send a message to my mom on her iphone from my mac, the message sends back to me on my mac and never shows a notification on her phone?
Make sure you addressing the message to her phone number and not her email address, or on her phone go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and make sure her email address is listed under "You can be reached by iMessage at".

I've been receiving text messages on my phone, but for some reason the phone number is not showing up on my bill under the message log. Does anyone know why?

Thanks for the details. All numbers should show up in the message history log, unless you are communicating via iMessage. When texting the numbers that are missing in the message log are you using your normal messaging app on the device or a downloaded app? Have the numbers that are missing been shown in your message log before?

If I notice this problem (eg. someone calls me on another phone) and I make a call from my phone to someone else (which DOES work) then all the missed calls and SMS will come through. Almost as if the phone put the cellular radio to sleep and only wakes it up when I try to make a call.
I havent called Apple support yet, thought I would see if anyone else was having similar problems with their 5 (or maybe IOS6).Bring your phone into Apple for evaluation

I previously posted a question about not being able to see any of my missed calls in the notification center. I have the iPhone 4S running on 6.1.1. The notifications previously stopped working but somehow the calls started to show up. (I can't remember what I did to make them show up). However, after I went to General>Reset>Reset All Settings , the missed call notifications disappeared again. I have tried turning everything on and it still does not work. My settings are Phone> Show 10 Recent Items> Banners > Badge Icon On> View In Lockscreen On. I have also tried to set it as alerts but nothing happens. The only way I can view my missed calls is on the lock screen and in the recents tab in the phone app. They do not show up in the notification center at all. Can someone please help me?

When I restore the iPhone as a new one, then it works. So the backup is senseless otherwise you're not able to see your missed calls in the NC.
In the forum I found that switching notification off and back on helped.
Worth a try, I would think. -

That's how it's supposed to work, you can't stop it. If this isn't what you want you should get yourself a POP based email account. -
How can I prevent client certificate information from being written to kjs log?
I have an application running on iPlanet Application server 6.0 that makes an SSL connection to an external site using client certificate. Problem : Every time the connection is wrapped in a client certificate, the entire SSL handshake including the key-exchange information is automatically being logged in the kjs log. How do I prevent the kjs from writing this inormation to the log ?
How are you making this SSL connection? Whatever library you are using must be writing to System.out().
You could avoid logging these messages by using file logs rather than console logs. But you could probably disable these messages by working with your SSL libraries as well.
