Preventive Maintenace Upload

Hi gurus,
I have N number of preventive maintenace model work orders in my existing system which the same values should be maintained in SAP.
I have problem in uploading the start of cycle.I got some predefined date in existing system and work order will be created on the same mentioned date. But in SAP we know we have to give the past date so that work order will be created accordingly.
I am not sure how we can do this for all.During upload... do I need to change the starrt of cycle manully for all the orders?
Help would be appreciated with points.
Regards,
Vijay

Hello Vijay,
during my implementation projects i used two different approaches to solve this general prolem.
a) first upload the maintenance plans without a start date in a first run and maintain the start date of the maintenance plans in a second separate run just before go live.
b) Extract the data from the sub-system to MS-Excel or MS-ACCESS and then re-calculate the proper start date using a macro. Then upload the maintenance plans with start dates in one step
Both variants require that you extrapolate the SAP start date aut of the pre-defined date of your sub system using the maintenance strategy.
i.e. The sub system defines maintenance plan A for the 01.01.2008 and a strategy of 6 months. So the SAP start date is 01.01.2008 - 6 Months = 01.07.2007. But be careful if the data quality of the sub system is not accurate you might calculate start dates which are in the past and you have to think about if you want to accept this (this will result in a maintenance order or notification during the first schedule run) or if you calculate again in a loop until the date is in the future.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards

  • IOS 7 is prevented from uploading to Photo Stream by some apps

I have found that some apps such as LINE and Facebook Camera prevent iOS 7 from uploading photoos to my Photo Stream.
    The phenominum is the followings:
    1. Take some photos by camera app of iPhone.
    2. Uploading the photos to LINE or Facebook by the apps.
    3. These photos won't appear in my Photo Stream.
I turned off the Photo Stream in Preference and then turned on it.
However, the photos never appeared in my Photo Stream.
I don't think I had experienced this phenominun until I updated to iOS 7.
I guess it might be a bug of iOS 7.

That's probably what I'm going to do as well, until either Apple gets its PhotoStream act (back?) together, or until I switch all to Loom. Since I use Aperture mainly for organizing my pics, and only occasionally edit Sony RAW files (hence no LightRoom), this kind of solution becomes increasingly probable – and attractive, too, since my Aperture library is by far the largest disk space user, even though I have all originals on an external SSD.
About the only thing I'd probably miss, is a native non-webbrowser photo app on OSX. On the other hand, I certainly will not miss Aperture's 1.5GB+ RAM usage, and all-too-frequent crashes under Maverick.

  • Base filtering engine is preventing FTP uploads

Using win 8.1. Ftp uploads (from any ftp program, filezilla, winscp and with knowhow cloud backup) stalls after 2-3 files have been uploaded.  A single large file will upload but not multiple small files. If I boot into windows safe mode the problem
does not occur, ftp works fine, always.  In normal mode by eliminating one running component at a time I found that the base filtering engine appeared to be the only problem.  If base filtering was running the ftp problem occurred, if not then ftp
    was fine.
Can one repair or replace the base filtering engine?.    I found this as it relates to win 7
FROM ONE OF YOUR OTHER THREADS:
you may download and apply the BFE service registry fix (#11) in this page: Miscellaneous Registry Fixes for Windows 7/XP/Vista - The Winhelponline Blog: LINK REMOVED (could not submit, Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify
    your account.)
Is that applicable for this problem in win 8.1?
I do understand the BFE is an important security issue.  I have also scanned my system for viruses, I use defender (computer associates) anti virus and firewall, and spybot for malware.  I can't specifically pinpoint the occurrence of the problem with
the installation of any specific new software program.  I have disabled the defender  firewall and virus software and that does not solve the problem. Disabling base filtering engine results in a functioning ftp, enabling results in
    a stalled ftp.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    1. Browse to the location for the BFE service in the registry (HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\BFE\Parameters\Policy), right click and select permissions.
    2. In the "Permissions for Policy" window, click advanced | Add.
    3. Once the "Select Users, Computers or Group" box appears, change the "From this location:" to point to the local machine name.
    4. After changing the search location, enter "NT Service\BFE" in the "Enter the object name to select" box and click "Check names" - this will allow you to add the BFE account.
    5. Give the following privileges to the BFE account:
    Query Value
    Set Value
    Create Subkey
    Enumerate Subkeys
    Notify
    Read Control
After adding the BFE account to the registry key, please try to start the Base Filtering Engine service.

  • How do you prevent file upload duplicates?

    Portal 3.0.9
    SunOS 5.8
    All,
Has anyone implemented a file upload portal that checks
to make sure the same file has not already been uploaded.
I currently have set up a portlet that allows a user to
upload files to a database table, but now I would like to
make sure the user is not sending duplicate files to the
table. I'm thinking of using JavaScript to capture the
filename and store it in the table and checking for
duplicates. Maybe, even setting up the file name column
as an index. All thoughts are welcome...

  • File size limit for webdav upload

    Dear Experts,
we set up what we thought to be a restriction of the file size allowed for upload. We did this in the portal via
System administration --> system configuration --> Knowledge Management --> Protocols --> WebDav --> Max WebDAV request size: 15728640 bytes.
We would have expected that to not allow us uploading any files larger than 15 MB. Turns out we were wrong and it does not work. Here is a http-trace of an upload of a 21 MB file.

Would anyone know any other way of preventing the upload of large files via a webDAV client?
    Thank you very much.

    Michael

    Hi Michael,
This cannot be possible in portal but you can upload the max size file through portal drive or webdev . Through portal drive you can upload 50mb or any format file size you can upload through portal but portal you cannot upload you can get the message of file uploading failure or connectivity issues like these messgae appears at every interval so go through the portal drive or webdev.
But best option for uploading huge file size is Portal drive. This will helpful for you.

  • Little Snitch Upload Problems?

**The following was posted on another forum**
    **Maybe you can help?**
I have a IMac Core 2 Duo 3.06ghz. It runs programs such as Final Cut Pro. A few months after I got it, I started having this file upload error, where whenever I upload a photo or doc to my Yahoo Mail or Youtube or any other site, it says file upload error on each site or another canned message. However, If I try and upload something on Windows Live Mail or Facebook, I have no problems. I'm assuming because this is flash. Any ideas?
Update 1: All my software is up-to-date date. I'm using Safari. Same error in Google Chrome.
I also found some unprepared disk permissions just a few mins ago
It says in 12 pages a lot of bad permissions. They all have to do with my Airport.
I don't want to repair them though because I'm using Little Snitch on some of my files for security. I'm afraid it will mess with some of these settings.
It is crucial I have these in tact.
Update 3: BTW, I just went into software update. It can't check updates because of a "network problem". I never had this error before. Any ideas?
    Update 4: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2394357&tstart=0
Will the tips in this thread disable my little snitch?
    Thanks so much!

Just for general information, these are user to user forums, so until someone sees your post who has some actual information, it may take a while for someone to respond.

If you have a problem with permissions, you should repair those. I don't know why you'd think it would mess up things - repairing permissions fixes them.
+Update 3: BTW, I just went into software update. It can't check updates because of a "network problem". I never had this error before. Any ideas?+
I don't use Little Snitch, but I would suspect that you have a setting there that is preventing your uploads as well as your communication with the Apple server. Hopefully someone using that app will chime in here on that.
So, until someone using Little Snitch can chime in, I would suggest you try turning it off for a short while; repairing your permissions, and then try to upload your videos. If it works, then you'll know the culprit and will need to adjust some settings there. If it doesn't, at least we've eliminated it as a source of the problem.

Hello .. I've been subscribed for ic;oud for 20$ per year and I found it useless for many reasons: that I can not disconnect my mobile while the uploading process and it takes long time for uploading my data .. Its not a reliable system that's why I need to deactivate the space service and take my money back .. Thanks

The "issues" you've raised are nothing to do with the iCloud service.
No service that uploads data allows you to disconnect the device you are uploading from while uploading data. Doing so would prevent the upload from completing. It is a basic requirement for any uploading service that you remain connected to it for uploading to be possible.
The time it takes to upload data to iCloud is entirely dependent on how fast your Internet connection is, and how much data you are uploading. Both of these things are completely out of Apple's control. Whichever upload service you use will be affected by the speed of your Internet connection.

  • Avoid Upload of U01 SyncBO in MI 7.0

    Hi all,
due to business reasons we want to somehow avoid the upload i.e. synchronization of a U01 SyncBO.
This means that we want to create SyncBOs in the mobile application, but to avoid the synchronization of exactly this SyncBO up to a certain point.
Is this possible to somehow control within the MI client API?
Best regards and thanks in advance
    Dietmar

    Hi Dietmar
From a Mobile application usage point of view, I really don't understand why you wish to prevent the upload since this has its own advantages.  But your business needs might want to do it.  You can achieve this by modifying the meRepMeta.xml file(Sync BO definition file).  Open this file for edit and go to you SynBO tag for which you wish to preven the upload and append the following tag
    suppressUpload="true"
    For example
    <SyncBO id="TestSyncBO" version="1" type="timedTwoWay" allowCreate="true" allowModify="true" allowDelete="true" reqDirectSync="false" suppressDownload="false" suppressUpload="true" downloadOrder="1">
But once you do these changes, you will have to Reset the client data so that the new model gets defined in the DB.  This approach should work but this means that every time you change the definition of the xml file, you will have to reset the client data and trigger download of initial data again and again.  Apart from this approach there is no means by which user can decide whether upload should be stopped or not.  But this same is not true for download.  You can prevent the download for data during every sync by using the Suppress data download option (This is just FYI.)
    Best Regards

  • ICloud uploader stuck

I purchased the 200GB plan to get all my photos into iCloud, and started the upload around 36 hours ago. So far, only a few hundred images have uploaded. the counter in Photos Preferences has been stuck on the same number most of the day. I even restarted the Mac to give it a kick-start, but no dice. The Console app reports many lines like this:
    4/10/15 10:19:37.270 PM cloudphotosd[345]: Skipping operation <CSLibraryManagerFetchMissingResourcesOperation: 0x7fa93b51f530>{name = '(null)'}, library manager operation duplicate to another operation

No idea what's preventing the upload from continuing or how to fix. Anyone else seeing this? Or is it intended to go really slowly to save bandwidth?
    Thanks.

I use a photo security software Picture Safe. It requires me to turn on Location Services to operate the software as it claims to be part of their security ID process.
Having read this web link above, I am getting suspicious that this developer is using this iOS loophole to upload my private photos without my knowledge.
Can apple improve its locations services software to better protect my privacy and prevent unauthorized upload of my photos?

I'm sure they can.  By the way, there are similar flaws in Android, Symbian and BlackBerry.

  • Error handling while uploading data through Batch Input Session

I want to upload data from a file to 2 different infotypes at the same time. One is a user defined infotype 9010 and the other is a standard infotype 2010. 9010 infotype has the start and end time whereas 2010 doesn't.While uploading I have put validations to check duplicate entries for infotype 9010 based on the start time and endtime. The duplicate entry is rejected in 9010 but the same gets uploaded in 2010. In 2010 I can't put any validations because there is no start time and end time.  I want to prevent the upload of the entry in infotype 2010 if it is not uploaded in 9010. Please help.

Doing IMPORT?EXPORT will act like a global variable shared between two separate programs.
    Here is an example:
In first part, export the values to a memory variable after your conditions satisfy and you want to set a flag, like this ...
free memory id 'ZFLAG_VAR'. "recomended to clear that variable
" before start, you dont need to declare it
        data: l_flag type c.
        if my_condition = 'true'.
          l_flag = 'X'.
export l_flag to memory id 'ZFLAG_VAR'.
        endif.
    In second part, you can
import l_flag from memory id 'ZFLAG_VAR'.
    if l_flag = 'X'.
write: 'hmmmm ... the flag was marked, so my condition was true in last part'.
    endif.

  • How stop recurring failed attempts to upload a video from ipad to dr

I mistakenly tried to upload a very long video from my iPad to dropbox. It has been locked in a loop now for many weeks. How can I terminate this? It is preventing me uploading other things from the iPad to Dropbox since they are queued behind the item in the loop.

It seems that the only area of Mobile Me that a video can be uploaded to is the Gallary section. I would like to move the video to the Public folder of mobile me, because I prefer the control that comes with Sharing a folder.  Ex. Password protect, and a time limit of sharing it (ex 7 days or 1day)
