  • Operations in Preventive maintenance order has to release then only order has to TECO

    Hi,Friends
is there any standard in R/3 that as soon as i am not releasing Operations in Preventive maintenance order, order should not be TECO
when ever i have released Operations then only Preventive Maint order has to be TECO
    Your response is highly appriciated
    Regards,
    Kumar

    Kumar,
    I'm still confused...
When you release the order header (REL), then all operations are also set to released (REL). You cannot individually release operations using the system status.
However, you can set user statuses for each operation which are configured in the IMG.
    Please give more details.

  • Preventive maintenance order actual completion time and date

    Hey gurus,
In preventive maintenance order the basic and scheduled start dates are picked from the maintenance plan. Now the actual start and end dates are in display mode. My client wants an overall completion time and date of the preventive order and not of individual operations. Also at the end of the month they want to see the total time spent on preventive maintenance. Can you suggest any way to sort out the above problem.
    Regards,
    Abhishek

    hi.
the basic start date and end date is coming from maintenance plan. but you can change that dates according to your requirment. For that you have to remove the automatic schduling check in the dates header in maintenance order. Afetr that you can put basic start and end dates as per your requirement.
Also the actual start and end dates and coming when you confirm the operation.
When you confirm the first operation, that date the system will take as actual start date and the day you confirm you last operation or fully confirmed the order will be taken as actual end date.
So i dont think yu have any problem. You can take basic start or basic end dates for this and change the dates as per your maintenace requirments.

  • How to use Standard Text Key in maintenance order header long text?

    Dear All,
I have created a standard text key using transaction CA10 and I want to use this in maintenance order header long text. Is there any way to select any standard text key in maintenance order header long text?
    Regards & Thanks,
    Saif

    Hi
To use standard texts, perform the following six steps:
Select the maintenance order and access the operation overview screen using Goto -->Operation overview.
You can enter standard text keys in this screen or in a detail screen for the relevant operation.
Enter a standard text key in the appropriate field and press ENTER .
If the text is longer that the short text line available, the field Text is selected for that operation.
Check the long text and edit it if necessary. To do this, select the operation and choose Operation--> Long text.
The system branches to the text editor screen. If you also entered a short text for the operation and specified that this should not be overwritten by the standard text, you will see the short text displayed in the first line of the editor. The following lines contain the standard text.
Check the standard text and change it if necessary.
Save the final version of the text and return to the previous screen with Goto--> Back.
    Save the maintenance order.
Standard texts are created for your system by your system administrator using the Customizing function.

  • Is there a way we can default the Requisition header description to Purchase Order header description in iProcurement?

We would want to default the Requisition Header description to get imported onto the Purchase Order Header description. After the Requisition approval the Purchase Order gets created but the Header description is empty and I expect this to be defaulted. Please suggest available alternatives.

Try with t.code AUT10 -Audit trail using which you can see the change histories.

    Hi Experts,
I am trying load Maintenance Order Header Long Text using an LSWM Direct Input Program.
It states the Long Text successfully transferred, but when I go to transaction IW33, the long text is not displayed.
How do I get the long text to be displayed in transaction IW33?
    Thanks,

SAP help states that some long texts may not be readable from the application after they have been imported. They provide 2 solutions in the following link.

  • Changing basic finish date in Preventive maintenance orders

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is to block PP work centre when maintenance schedule the equipment for preventive maintenance. I am making system condition as zero in generated preventive maintenance order but basic finish date is not changing in the order automatically. Can anybody please explain how to bring this? Finally my requirement is system should change basic finish date and time as time given in operation of task list.
    Thanks in advance.
    best regards,

    Hi Praveen,
I have done all setting and tested but there is no change.
My client requirement is like this - whenever maintenance plans are scheduled, for the scheduled dates, production capacity should not be considered by production. We could do this for breakdown orders but not happening for PM orders unless we change the finish date.
The issue is to get the finish date automatically when scheduling maint.plans with respect to values given in operations. Please suggest how to get the  basic finish dates automatically.
    best regards,

  • Restrict the Preventive Maintenance Order creation through IW31 for few users.

    Dear Guru's,
    Good Day.
My client requirement is he wants to restrict the Preventive Maintenance Orders through Transaction IW31 for few users. Is it possible through authorization? Please do the needful.
    Regards,
    Bhanu.

    possible for order type.
create a role with all order types (optional) including Prev. Maint Order type, obviously having T.code IW31. and create another similar role excluding Prev. Maint Order type.
Assign earlier role to few users (want to give the permission of IW31 Prev.) and later role to all remaining users.
Auth. Object: I_AUART, first test in sandbox or testing client.

  • Change Production Order Header description

    Dear Gurus,
When production order is created for a material using CO01 the order header short description is picked up as the Material Master description; however it is non-editable. I want to make this editable. Please let me know the customizing settings to make this editable.
    Thanks & regards

    Hi Manish,
We use alternative PP BOMs. The description of the FERT material master carries the description of the alternate BOMs combined. When any one of the BOM is selected while creation of production order the order header description carries the material master description which is a combination of the alternative BOMs. We need this to be editable so that the correct description corresponding to the relevant alternate BOM can be maintained.

  • Preventive Maintenance Order

    Hi Experts,
I want to know about Preventive Maintenance,
The Case is I run schedulle preventive maintenance August 3, 2011  call date August 3, 2011 and the order will automatic created on August 3, 2011
my question is system status on order preventive maintenance always Release (REL) or not?
    Thanks for the answer
    Best Regrads,
    Bernardus Jalu

IMG => PM & CS => Maintenance & Service Processing => Maintenance & Service Orders => Functions & Settings => Configure Order types (OIOA)
In that, for order type, check the check box release immediately. That too will work only in IP30 (Automatic Scheduling). In IP10, release should be done manually.

  • Preventive Maintenance Order is not releasing as per scheduled Planning in Counter Based Plan

    Hi Experts
    In The below schenario
There is a  counter based maintenance plan. of strategy 100 km,200 km,...1800 km..
Operaton1,  Operation2,... Operation3... defined in maintenance package for 100 km, 200 km,.... respectively.
Now issue is that system is releasing order as per sequence of scheduled planing & not according to schedule of current counter reading of counter.
case:  At 200km order 1 is released with operation1 only, logicaly system should release order with operation1, & operation2
same like that at 300 km, system has released order with op1 & op2, logicaly system should release order with operation1, & operation3 as per strategy defined in maintenance plan.
In the present condition, what we have to do to get the desired result like for next counter reading of 400 KM system should release order with op1, & op4.
    Best Regards
    Pravin Gautam

1st order is getting generated by 100 KM. While doing Preventive Maintenance, vehicle will not have any movements so that counter reading at the completion should as same as 100 KM.
I am not clear how & why you entered 200 KM for completion of PM order.
Also, if you complete the 1st Preventive Maintenance at 200 KM, from there only system should calculate the next order. Its not Time based as this will come automatically with predefined frequency. Your plan is Performance based & system will act according to the completion of previous Preventive Maintenance.
I don't find any reason to change behavior which is correct. I am not convinced with the development which is giving wrong details to the business.

  • Preventive maintenance orders

    Thanks Vasan,
after scheduling of maintenance plans automatically maintenance orders will be generated,to view those orders
i have to go IW38,with out this is there any provision to get pop up message automatically (orders).so that end users
    get alerted.
To do Refurbishment order valuation Type is mandatory ?how to assign valuation type to materal?
    Regards ,
    K.Sunil

    Hi Sunil,
I guess teh POP-UP wont be a correct option for the same but you can definitely use the Mail Service for the creation of the order.
and as far as the Valuation type is concern, you need to do all the Settings for the Split Valuation,
    follow the path
    IMG> Materials Management>Valuation and Account Assignment-->Split Valuation
                                                                                    -->Activate Split Valuation
                                                                                    -->Configure Split Valuation
first Activate Split Valuation then configure Split Valuation as given below:
    Define Global Types "Create"
Come back and define Global Categories then on the same screen Assign Global Types to Global Cat.(Activate)
then in the same page activate the Global Cat. in the plant.
after this create a material MM01, in the Accounts view give in your Valuation Category. save it
Again Use T-Code MM01 and this time give in the valuation type while giving the Plant and Storage Location
the same way define other valuation Types.
now in the T-Code MM60 you can see the same material 3 times that is 1 without valuation type and other with the valuation type.
one more important thing try to creta 3 valuation types:
    1. for the new material.
    2. for the damaged material.
    3. for the repaired material.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Set Deletion Flag for the Preventive Maintenance Order

    Hi,
I need to set the Deletion flag for the Service Order. Deletion flag available in the screen disabled. Please suggest.
also I need know under which I shall be able to set such deletions.
    Thank you,
    Vijaya

    Hi Vijaya,
Pls refer the help.sap.com related to deletion flag for PM/CS Orders. Some of the check criteria mentioned below for your reference.
Before a deletion flag is set, the following requirements must be met:
u2022 Any manually added purchase requisitions or purchase orders for the order must be deleted first.
The balance of the actual costs for the order must be zero. This means that the deletion flag can only be activated if the order has already been settled, or if no actual costs were incurred for the order.
u2022 Commitments relating to the order must be deleted.
u2022 Unprocessed and incorrect goods movements must be processed.
When the deletion flag is activated, all remaining capacity requirements are deleted. A deletion indicator is also set in any open material reservations.
An order that has been flagged for deletion cannot be changed. However, you can cancel the deletion flag.
    Thanks
    Siva

Pls set the Order as Techically completed (TECO) and check the deletion flag set.
