Preview - consistent pdf size in full screen

Hi,
I read a lot of papers in pdf format using Preview. Usually this is in full screen mode to enable larger text, however I can't find a setting to increase the page size in full screen. I can increase the width with a two finger swipe on the trackpad but each time I move to the next page it changes back to full page view.
How can I set pdf files to display at two thirds of the screen width, on every page in full screen mode?

With Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) you can set the initial view of PDF documents.

PDF display accurate page size in Full Screen Mode

Mac G5 Tower Panther OS. When making a PDF presentation to a client (an A4 brochure for example) I would like to use the Full Screen mode using my remote to change pages and make a smooth impression. The problem is on my Apple 20' Cinema display the A4 design fills the screen when I want to show it at 100% size only (210 x 297mm). I can do this easily in Acrobat normal mode but can find no way to make this so with Full Screen mode. The screen resolution is 1680x1050 and I am reluctant to even temporarily change it because it knocks other stuff off kilter.

I can't find how to do this anymore either.
It was a GREAT feature.
And now suddenly, it appears to be removed! What the heck Apple !!!!

Preview slide show-but not full screen?

Seems to me I recall seeing an option to NOT preview the slideshow full screen. But can't find it now. I would like to view the slide show while keeping Pages on screen so I can take notes. Is there any way to do that?

Just bought the Mac Book Pro 17" - set up all OK but the applications are only showing on a small screen size, not full screen - the background is still visible as a margin - how do I take the view to full screen corner to corner so to speak.

Just bought the Mac Book Pro for my photography - set up and running last night, but the user screens ie Hot Mail, safari etc.. are only half size sat on the background - I have exhausted the help and calibration log...surel this must be simple to fix...any help out there..thanks..Paul.

Have you just moved over from WIndows?
This is standard on Macs. The ability to see more than one window at a time. Some apps - like iPhoto, Aperture etc - have a Full Screen mode. Check out the View menu.
Drag the lower right hand corner to resize the window.

Video size during full screen show up as half the size

I was watching a south park episode and wanted to close it. The option to get out of full screen wasn't working so I right clicked the screen which brought up a menu. Choices were Half screen through full screen and i clicked half screen. Now whenever I try to full screen it always shows up with a really small screen and i cannot change it.
I have gone through all the options and nothing lets you control the size of the full screen so i am guessing this is a bug. Any help would be great

Just press CTRL + 3 while in Fullscreen "mode" to enable the video size to "Fit To Screen".
You probably pressed CTRL + 0 at some point, reducing the video size to half size while in fullscreen mode.

Using a tablet PC pen to annotate PDF slides in full screen mode

I'm using Acrobat 8 Standard on a tablet PC with Win XP Professional SP 3 running. I m using Acrobat to run LaTeX presentations, and am looking for a way to use my tablet PC pen to annotate (underline, circle, etc.) slides in full/screen mode, as is possible with MS PowerPoint. I am at a loss here. Any ideas/pointers?

I haven't ever tried it in Acrobat. You may find it easier to use Classroom Presenter with the tablet (a free download). You can import all of the slides as graphics (basically save as TIFF and then import). They you can annotate in the program as you use the presentation. A nice advantage of this program when using a presentation mode with a separate monitor is that the separate monitor can view only the presentation area, but the original still show all of the toolbars.
I would guess that you are really looking for a dual screen mode like that for Acrobat. If you try to do written text with Acrobat, the pencil tool is a bit clumsy and you might not find it that easy to use. I will look for a dual screen mode on my tablet, but would probably start by checking the manual.

Win 8 and 8.1 - Acrobat X Pro - PDF Save (As) Full Screen Only

When saving a file Adobe Acrobat X Pro on my WIN 8 (8.1) computer the save (save as) pop-up window ONLY goes to full screen mode. I have CS5.5 installed on my computer and no other Adobe programs are affected. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat but yet the same problem exists. Does anyone have a solution for this?

It is not a problem it is design behavior. Try double click on the upper bar of the Save As window and that should restore the Save As window.

Escape button doesn't work in iTunes, iWork, Preview switching back to non-full screen mode

Though it does in Safari, iPhoto. Is it possible somehow by means of AppleScript, Terminal (or smth else) to enable esc button to switch between full and non-full mode assigning it to all of my apps or is it a bug?

Have you tried using other keyboard to see if the present one is broken. It is not uncommon to find that some keys stop working in some keyboards. I have some keyboards in which certain keys don't work anymore.
