Preview Mode Thumbnails showing up Blank

PLEASE HELP.
Some thumbnails of pages in Preview Mode are showing up as blank.
I have tried...
1. Restarting Muse
2. Re-Opening the document
3. Turning thumbnails on/off in Preview Mode
4. Opening those specific pages, making edits, then closing them
None of the above has fixed this issue.

I am on Mac OSX 10.7.3 w/ 8GB RAM
Adobe Muse v1.0 Build 948, CL 767416
Is this a memory / cache issue? Please advise as I can upgrade my memory and continue working if this is the issue.
Is this a Muse bug? Please advise so I can stop searching for solutions and wait for a fix.

I was able to fix the entire .muse document by recreating my masters and individually going into each page and shifting the page content from -7500 y axis back to the position they should be at. It was tedious but I am now progressive.
Unfortunately each master had a header line that was already at its top most position 0px. Messing with these did not fix any of the thumbnails.
Appreciating the feedback - I represent a team of 6 who will be subscribing to Muse very soon for professional production.

Thumbnails show up blank

When I try to look through my photos, the thumbnails and events show a blank, grey screen. When I double click the photo to see it larger, it shows an exclamation point. I tried restarting my computer, restarting iPhoto but it still does not work. I am not sure how to fix this.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. That's an indication that iPhoto has lost the file path to the original photos. Backup and launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed to rebuild the library. Select the last three options.

Preview mode showing some elements shifted vertical ;(

One of my pages if showing some elements shifted vertically when viewing in preview mode. Its rather annoying as only one page is showing this. The design section shows all elements as they should be. Please help!!

I also have a similar issue with a page on my site.
I have a vertical scroll page with anchored links on the page.
Each section of the page I have denoted by a vertical solid color rectangular bar.
In design mode these bars are the correct lenght and position, however in preview I had issues where they were either shifting vertically or after trying out some fixes, which I will list, they now start (I think) at their designated start points but their end point is not that which i have specified.
Fixes I tried:
I put the anchors at numbers below 0 - no change
I changed from one continous text box to segmenting the text boxes into section which correspond to the different colored rectangular bars - this, once grouped with corresponding bar and text box, solved the issue of the bars starting in the wrong location but did not fix their their over run at the end as in picture.
I then put the grouped bars inside their respective text box and wrapped text with a margin of 20 - no change
I then grouped all simialr grouped items together - no change
I would greatly appreciate your help and I will forward the site with a link to this thread to muse support.

Rules for importing AND preview mode

At this moment I shoot a mix of JPEG and RAW files.
I have defined two "standard" Develops settings: one for the JPEGs and other for RAWs.
The preview mode only show thumbnails so I can't see what are JPEGs and what are RAWs (the extension is not shown!). I need to apply different Develop settings for JPEGs and RAWs. I need to open a Windows Explorer Window to see what are JPEGs and what are RAWs, then select JPEGs, select the develop setting and Import. Again select RAWs and Import... This makes the import process a bit slow and tedious.
It could be desirable two new features:
1. The preview mode need to show the name + extension of the files beeing imported
2. Rules to define what Develop settings to apply to different kind of files (JPEG & RAW).
This way, I can import JPEGs and RAW in oly one step, with the correct develop settings applied.

Of course I could do that. I could do some pre-import task and some post-import task ... or more that one import process. But I think is better do do all the import work at the beginnig and in only one step.
Another point is that, when you apply a new develop setting to one or more files, LR renders the previews again. So If I import and then apply a develop setting, I'm doing an "extra" rendering (Am I wrong?). I could disable the rendering at import time, and then activate the rendering after the import, but this seems to be a slower process and, also, another extra step.

PDF document opened with Preview does not show french accents

Hi everybody,
I've got some issues with PDF documents opened with Preview.
They show a blank space for all the accented vowels.
If I open the same document with Safari, it's the same. But with Chrome, it works perfectly.
I assume there's a problem with fonts, but, nothing wrong with fontbook (checked duplicates for instance).
Last information : it looks ok within chrome on my Imac, but the issue comes back when I try to print from chrome app...the accents are gone on the sheet.
Any idea ? I don't want to install Adobe reader...

Why not? It can handle some pdf's that Preview can't. At least it's worth a try.

Text placed within a blank composition thumbnail causes errors in preview mode?

Greetings Adobe Community,
I'm having some trouble placing text within a blank compositions thumbnail. While in design mode everything is fine and dandy, however, as soon as I preview my design, both in browser and preview mode the thumbnail gets displaced. It's very annoying and I can't seem to stop it from happening.
I've tried to upload pictures detailing the issue but I keep getting this message (below) which should probably be a question topic of it's own.
"An error occurred trying to retrieve data from server. Please try again in a few minutes. Error Code: Object doesn't support property or method 'createContextualFragment'"
Anyway I uploaded the images to photobucket.
Here is what it looks like in design mode

Finder Cover Flow image preview size is small, cannot be adjusted and showing empty blank previews in Mavericks

When using Cover Flow the image preview in the main window (not the thumbnail list at the bottom) images appear but only use about 1/2 of the window space available. It is also showing black/blank preview images as I scroll through the files even though they are cached.
I enlarge the Finder to fill my 27 inch display, slide the size adjustment handle (three lines under the file name preview) all the way down as far as I can. The preview only enlarges to a certain point leaving the upper half of the window unused. I wish to enlarge the cover flow preview images to use this window space even if it affects the overlapping or number of cover flow images avaialble in the window. I am assuming this is becasue of the nature of cover flow showing the two previous and two following images to the left and right of the previewed image. As I scroll left and right occsionally one of the upcoming images will appear as and empty preview as well. It's all goofed up.
Hoping for any suggestions.
I have seen articles about using terminal to adjust "flow height" but never anything substainial that seemend like an informed solution.

I also would like to know if there is an answer to this. My landscape photos always display with a third of the cover flow window as blank empty space (matching your screenshot). This seems like such a waste. Is there any way to change the "padding" between the top of the finder bar and the cover flow preview?

Populated PDF form in Preview shows as blank when viewing

I have a pdf template form that I have filled in.
I did this in Preview and used 'save as' to create my copy.
However, the thumbnail preview of the pdf shows as blank, and if i send it windows users or preview it in gmail, it also shows as blank.
To start with I thought that I had accidentally saved the wrong version, but no, I can double click the pdf in Finder, and it opens in Preview with all the data present, exactly as I had saved it.

What I have noticed is that if I send the pdf to another mac user, they can see all the info fine. If I send the output from Preview in gmail, and someone downloads it, they can only view the information if they click on the "highlight fields" button, but then it still doesn't look quite right, with loads of expander "+"s all over the form.
When I tried opening the form in adobe reader from the link you provided, I get a different view again. I can examine each field and view the individual data items, but it is not possible to 'show all fields'

Preview mode is blank

After spending most of the day designing pages and successfully previewing them, the preview mode now just shows a blank page. I have closed and re-opend the project to no avail.
I can only see my site.page via design, exported or previewed via browser.
Thoughts?

Could you please confirm if the issue is specific to your website or it is with all the websites on your computer. You can test it by creating a test website.
If it is specific to your website then please check if it is with one specific page or it is with all the pages of your website.
Please do this testing and let us know the results.

A few suggestions for you:
Try:
uninstall all HP utilities or other HP apps on your Mac
see if there is updated software on the HP website
go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print
control-click on your printer in the column on the left
select "Reset Printing System..." and "reset" in the dialog that follows
Do a factory reset on your printer
go back to printers & scanners and it should see your printer and download a driver for it from Apple

Bridge does not show my Camera Raw Adjustments in previews or thumbnails.

Bridge CS6 on my Mac is not showing my Camera Raw adjustments in a preview pane or thumbnail.
Here's how it worked until recently:
I open a .CR2
I make some adjustments
I click "Done"
The thumbnail and the preview show the adjustments I made
Now, it works like this:
Open a .CR2
Make adjustments
Click "Done"
The preview and thumbnail don't show all the adjustments. I can't see the results of noise removal, but I can see a drastic change in Exposure
If I double-click the CR2 file, it opens in Camera Raw, and I see all my adjustments, including noise removal.
Here's what I've tried, but saw no difference (I restarted Bridge every time):
Purge Cache
Purge Cache for Selection
Replaced Camera Raw plug-in as described here: Camera Raw 8.4 | No metadata or Camera Raw edit
     (Doing so made Camera Raw disappear in Bridge, so I restored the original file)
Reset Preferences
Reset Standard Workspaces
All the above fixes were inspired by this thread: Re: Bridge CS6 not showing Camera Raw adjustments
Why don't I see the noise removal effect in the previews? I am sure I saw it a few weeks ago. I rely on that, to help me sort and cull photos.
I'm hoping there's a preference toggle that I accidentally changed. It's definitely a puzzle. (Version: Bridge CS6 5.0.1.21 5.0.2.4)

I tried replacing the Camera Raw plugin, which failed as before. I then restored the previous plugin, as before, but Bridge now fails to honor the preference, "Double-Click Edits Camera Raw Settings in Bridge" and instead always opens Photoshop.

I can attach a screenshot, but I must block out names and faces. All you'll see is my Bridge interface, not the faces in the portraits. Hope that helps.

Acrobat Preview mode doesn't show PMS spot colors

Out of the blue, the preview mode in Acrobat 9 is showing PMS spot colors as black, CMYK colors show up fine. The actual pdf itself is fine. This happens when I make pdfs "High Quality" or "Press Quality" from Indesign 6. Curiously, it does not happen when I make a "Smallest File". However when I attach these pdfs to email, the spot colors appear black.
I've been using 9 for a long time and I've been using Indesign 6 for a few months now. I'm on a Mac Pro, OSX 10.6.8. I can't figure out if there is something that was unchecked or checked that is causing this problem to come up seemingly out of nowhere.

It was correct for Adobe to use the Lab alternate color space for display of Pantone spot colors. Why? Two reasons:
(1)     InDesign and Illustrator are now consistent with Photoshop's behaviour with non-process color channels. This interoperability issue has been complained about for years.
(2)     When one referred to the CMYK alternate color space values of Pantone colors, the question naturally comes up as to which CMYK color space those deviceCMYK values represent. Are those values for SWOP or Gracol or what? According to what Pantone told me personally years ago, they were SWOP, but not so-labelled. Thus, unless your output CMYK color space is SWOP, use of those CMYK colors is simply wrong!!! Using Lab alternate colors will allow whatever renders those spot colors in either RGB or CMYK to properly render them in the actual final color space!
Unfortunately, there is nothing that Adobe can do to cause Apple's preview product to properly display these colors. By the way, this problem also afflicts the built-in PDF viewer in the iOS products as well as MacOS X. Fortunately, under MacOS, you can easily download and install the free Adobe Reader and have it do all the PDF display in lieu of Apple's preview. Although we do have Adobe Reader available for iOS, Apple does not let us replace preview in iOS for PDF preview. You must view in preview and send the file to Adobe Reader.
Of course, if enough Apple users complained to Apple management about the numerous anomalies of its preview program, maybe after all these years, they might actually fix it to properly handle Lab colors (as well as transparency).

Why is slide showing up blank in preview and publish, but not filmstrip view?

I was having the problem I described in another post where data that was masked flips back to the unmasked value- however, this time I couldn't figure out any solution.
So, I tried copying the background image, putting it in an image editor, then pasting it back into Captivate and adding my highlight boxes (Captivate 3). It worked in Preview mode for a good hour, then I published and that particular slide showed up with white (no bkgrd. image) but you could still see the highlight box and mouse movement.
I shut down captivate then restart in preview mode and the same thing happened- worked until I published then that particular slide had problems again.
Any ideas? I'd appreciate them much. I feel like I've had every problem in the world with Captivate in the last month!

Absolutely confused... I did not suspect that my suggestion would lead to such inexpected behaviour.
I'll have to think more about it, which is difficult since I can't reproduce your problem.
Your idea to move the files from within Elements tells us something.
Maybe examining the log file could give some hints about the failures of Elements in the process.
