Preview program in Maverik - Spacebar not working to move image

was just forced by a program to upgrade to Maverik -- when i use PREVIEW to view images spacebar is not working in order to move the image around in the open window with the mouse to see other parts of edits etc? Bug? Just a box draws or what is the new command.. i cannot get to parts of images blow up to see what i need to see now other than opening in photoshop

Paldeng, thanks for the suggestion. I've done all that. I can connect to the server, but apparently they are not recognizing my ID and password. I can use the server program if I don't go through Mail (using the same ID and password). My mother in another state with another provider has had the same email issue, as also my husband on his laptop who uses the same internet connection I do. His worked fine until we had it repaired at the Apple store and all the original programs reloaded (with the required updates, I assume). We can receive email in Mail, we just cannot send.
I contacted my service provider, and we went over my connections. They said it was not their problem and connected me with Apple, resulting in a charge to me because my warranty is long expired. Apple swears it is not their problem, it is the provider, so here I sit. My son was able to fix my Mom's Mail (she's 97) and got my husband's working also, until mine went out, by tweaking connection descriptions and ports remotely. The thing is, we had not messed with any of those settings, so what changed? I just did not want to bother my son again, as he has many other demands on his time.
Since this fiasco with the Mail v4.6 update, I'm wondering if something else was updated that works well with Lion and Mountain Lion, but does not work well with Snow Leopard and Leopard. I think the problem I had with the Mail update was that my Mail program had been renamed to Mail (original), and therefore was not being recognized by the update. Perhaps they had another tweak in there somewhere that is affecting outgoing mail connections?

Executable run-time error: "Failed to process adress of Labview Program. Occurences will not work."

When I run my VI it works fine. However, when I create it into an executable and try to run the exe, it gives me an error, "Failed to process adress of Labview Program. Occurences will not work." Why?

I am using Labview 7.0. I have attached a screen shot and the code. thanks for checking it out and let me know if you need any more info.

Play and Stop with Spacebar not working in newly updated Premiere CC

Tried on two different machines (iMac and MacPro) in last 24 hours. Audio also goes out randomly

Have not connected any external audio devices. The audio dropout seems to be a common problem according to other staff and users on the forums, with no real solution. The spacebar not working is a new issue though that just started once I updated yesterday on two different machines, both on OSX 10.9.4

I've done some research on the SQLite database. Whenever Aperture hangs up (like during auto-stack or opening the filter hud) there are thousands of SQLite queries happening. These SQLite queries cause massive file I/O because the database is stored on the disk as 1kb pages. However, the OS is caching the database file; mine's only 12MB. I'm trying to track down some performance numbers for SQLite on osx but having trouble.
It's starting to look like most of the speed problems are in the libraries that Aperture uses instead of the actual Aperture code. Of course, that doesn't completely let the developers off the hook since they choose to use them in the first place.
Oh, and if anyone is curious, the database is completely open to queries using the command line sqlite3 tool. Here's the language reference http://www.sqlite.org/lang.html

Elements 10 canvas not working with tiff images; works fine with jpegs. What to do? It does not allow me to add a colored canvas, only a blank canvas.

Perhaps some of the tiffs are already layers.
In other words, since jpegs don't support layers, they all ways open with one locked background layer, but the tiff format does
support layers so the tiffs don't have to have a locked background layer and can already be a regular layer that supports transparency.
For the tiffs you could add a new color fill layer below and use the color you want the enlarged canvas to be.
On pse 10 look at the bottom of the layers panel for the new adjustment of fill layer icon

I have the same issue on my iPhone 5s
I've closed the app and re-booted the phone several times but it did not resolve the issue.
Upgrading to iOS 8.0.2 did not resolve it either.
Erasing the iPhone and restoring from a backup did not resolve it.
I'm not sure what else to do.

There are many significant errors here for instance you are using a class file as if it were an applet yet you do not subclass applet. Your code has no init method (if it is to be an applet). Your best bet is to go through the tutorials one step at a time. One thing to consider is to subclass a JPanel and draw on the jpanel overriding the paintComponent method. This can then be added to a JFrame or a JApplet's contentPane and would allow the same graphics in both. But again, please study the tutorials on all of this, otherwise you will be doing hit-or-miss programming, and that is no way to learn.

Addendum: Also, if you are just beginning in Java programming, I suggest you start with the basics and not with Swing / AWT / graphics programming. Otherwise you will just end up bruised and disappointed. You have to learn to walk before you can run.

Photoshop CS4 Extended ...Program's 'Help' does not work

I have PS CS4 Extended ... the Help command does not work ... I get a message saying "there was an error launching th eAdobe Help application. You may need to reinstall the application and Help component.
IK have un-installed the program completely and then reinstalled it. Still, the Help does not work, although the rest of the program seems to perform ok.
I'm rather at my wits end.
Has anyone any suggestions.

The preview in browser function is not working in DW CC 2014.1

I just installed WAMP 2.5 on my local Win 8.1 machine. All files transfer to the test server fine and all is working. However, when I open pages from Dreamweaver in preview I get a URL not found error. The pages open fine in all browsers when I open them directly in Windows Explorer. I changed the HOSTS file in windows as recommended in the WAMP 2.5 setup for using virtual hosts as follows:
127.0.0.1       localhost
127.0.0.1       project1
127.0.0.1 sttest.dev
::1 localhost
::1 project1
::1 sttest.dev
where sttest is my local website project folder for the test server.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I figured our the problem. In WAMP if you're using Virtual Hosts, you have to point to a folder under the www folder either in the WAMP main folder or other spot. I had designated a Project1 localhost, but had failed to create a Project1 folder under the c:\WAMP\www folder. So I set up a more specific folder as c:\WAMP\www\STTest1 as a project folder and then edited my HOSTS file to:
127.0.0.1       localhost
127.0.0.1       sttest1
::1 localhost
::1 sttest1
Since I had previously had 127.0.0.1    Project1 statement in my HOSTS file but no Project1 folder, the Dreamweaver could not find the html page on my local server.   So for now, all is good.

Zoom not working and fullscreen image preview not working. !

I have updated the latest mountain lion. After this i am not able to zoom in using the control key and two finger upside slide on trackpad and also the image preview which before i could see fullscreen by spreading out two fingers is not working now. Please help me up with this issue if anyone possibly could as i have adapted these features in my designing life.

Mine is even weirder, but maybe I can help.
First, a number of people are reporting that the zoom feature seems to stop working after the computer goes to sleep. You get it back if you reboot. However, a simpler solution is that you can move the cursor to a screen corner - one you have set up to start a screen saver - and when you move the cursor away to stop the screen saver, the zoom works again. Still a bug, but fairly easy to deal with until your computer goes to sleep again.
Mine is really weird because, as I was working to try to get zoom to work before finding out this other stuff, somehow I ended up with a situation where if I turn on zoom, the screen instantly zooms and I can't get it to unzoom except by turning off zoom. However, even though zoom is then turned off, I can zoom the screen as if it is on!
So, besides trying the trick of activating the screen saver, you might try turning off zoom and see if it will still zoom.
