PREVIEW SaveAll and Print All

I'm having a devil of a time with my Preview scans.
1. Is there a way to SaveAll scans that end up in a Preview Document? I have a bunch of tif's (sometimes these come in as a Document Feeder and sometimes they are a series of hand placed originals.
I know I can select them all and print them all to pdf as one document but is there a way to save all of them to a specific folder? Right now if I select them all I am not getting an option to Save All (it is greyed out) and if I select them all and Save As it seems to only save one image.
On the other hand I sometimes see a bunch of images in my Scanner Documents folder but I can never figure out how they got there. Do they go to this folder /only/ /after/ I run some kind of Save routine or are they always placed in this folder and then a SaveAs will put them somewhere else?
2. Why on earth isn't there a Print All option? Currently if I accidentally forget to select all my images and I go to Print Selected Images and then print to pdf I only end up with one page printed to pdf. This is a real pain as I oftentimes delete the original tifs so as to not take up extra space on my HD.
This dialog makes no sense to me. I have the option to Print or to Print Selected Images. If I Print after selecting all the images it only prints one but at the same time if I only have one selected and I run Print it only prints one document. Print Selected really seems like a tweeener command that should sit between Print and Print All. Anybody feelin me on that one?

I don't know if my problem is exactly the same as yours, but I find that printing some PDFs in Preview cuts off the bottom of some documents. This doesn't happen when I convert the document to open in Adobe Reader and then print with the Reader print dialog box. I can't find any settings in the Preview dialog box to correct this: There is no longer a separate Page Setup dialog box, and the three radio buttons in the Preview print dialog box ("No automatic page scaling", "Scale each page to fit paper",and "Only scale down large pages") nor reducing the scale in the Scale text box seem to be able to correct this problem.
The PDF document I was having problems with was created in Adobe Acrobat 8.1. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

I know word displays the comments off to the side of the document, and those comments can be viewed all at once and printed alongside the document.

There doesn't appear to be a way to print conmments in either Pages or Numbers in the Mavericks versions.

I have hidden pages in the PDF form I'm using (but didn't create). How can I see and print all the pages at once without clicking on the "next page" button. In the initial view, there are four pages, but if I click the "next page" button, there are a total of 12 pages in this document. This is three budget years, each year being 4 pages long.

You're most likely dealing with a dynamic XFA form created in LiveCycle Designer. You can open it, click the button, and save it, and it will most likely be 12 pages when next opened, but it depends on how the form is set up. The ability to make edits to an XFA form in Acrobat is very limited, especially for dynamic forms, so things like flattening aren't possible.
If it's not an XFA form, you'd still need to click the button at least once and save. To say for sure what's possible, I'd need to see the document. Can you post it somewhere?

How do I get a text box to expand by user and print all text?

I am creating a form in Adobe Live Cycle Designer that was converted from a Word file that contains many text boxes. I would like the text box to expand to accomodate each user's text in edit mode. When the form is printed - all the entered text should print. Even though I set the text box to allow multiple lines, all the user sees when they print is a box with just a couple of lines and a red + in the corner indicating that there is more text. There must be a work around? I am not very proficient in this software so would love someone to give me the necessary steps. Thanks.

Print Preview shows (and prints) only a portion of a page,

Not the printer's fault - it prints what Print Preview sends it (about half a page).

There's a couple of old Bugs ''(over 8 years old)'' in Firefox that can cause that to happen with some web pages. One Bug was recently fixed for Firefox 4.0b8, but it doesn't look like it will be applied to Firefox 3.6.x versions.
There may be a workaround you could apply for a specific domain via a Stylish script, but we'd need the URL of that page and a screen shot of the Print Preview window to try to help you fix it.

Preview Scale and Print

Ok, so here is my dilemma.
I open a PDF in Preview, I go to print it, set it to automatically scale and instead of scaling in the middle so it prints right, it scales to the bottom left and then gets cut off by the printer since its not inside the printer margins.
Acrobat scales to the margins, but I want to use Preview because its faster. Anyway to set where preview scales?

ITunes Store music preview stops and freezes all playback

I hope someone can help, I'm at wits end with this.
There's a lot of people complaining that they can only preview a few seconds of a song in the iTunes Store.
Oh yeah? Big deal, just be glad that's your only problem with it, because when this happens to me it locks up my iTunes from playing anything else and I not only have to exit iTunes but then terminate the process from task manager.
Let me describe it in more detail because it's so weird... and YES, I DO have the latest version (10.7.0.21)
So I'm in the iTunes store, I'll click the song preview button, I may or may not hear a few seconds of the song but it ALWAYS just halts playback before getting very far. I can move the slider, hit pause or stop or try to preview another song but nothing happens. What's worse, afterwards I'll go to my iTunes music Library and try to play a song and it pops up but doesn't play, like as if it is on permanent pause. It just DOES NOT play anything, therefore making iTunes completely useless other than messing with playlists and song info.
So now my only choice is to exit iTunes, oh but the problem is far from over. Now iTunes dissapears from my taskbar, but the little icon by the clock is still there. Clicking on it does nothing. I cannot rerun iTunes until I terminate the process in task manager. Okay, I kill it and start fresh just to have it happen all over again. I just dread pressing that **** preview button, I can't live like this.
This certainly was never a problem in earlier versions of iTunes and there's been no other significant change on my PC in the last two months (which is the last time I remember things working as they should). What gives?

Perhaps try resetting your iTunes Store Cache.
Go "Edit > Preferences". In the Advanced tab, click the "Reset cache" button shown in the following screenshot:
... and then click OK.
Restart your iTunes, and head back to the Store. Are you getting full previews now?

Find object Names in a file and print all those objects Names

Hi All,
I am new to this forum.
I want to know how to read only objects names in txt file. In the text file i have sql queries, package names, Function Name. I need to read all the objects and display out put. The file contains around 20000 Lines.
Please suggest me.

Whenever Ihit theprint button the printer runs a sheet of paper through it like it isprinting but all i end up with is ablank sheet of paper. The ink cartridges are new.

Using LR 5.6, the program has developed sever problems. The latest is that the print module changes the picture from the chosen file to 12 others and prints all 12. I suspec that an uninstall and reinstall would fix the problem but I don't know how to do

Please tell me how do get a real person on customer support. This system is terrible.

What is your operating system?
Do you have a copy of Lr ( the installer ) to hand?
Is this a perpetual or a CC version of Lr?

Printing all artboards?

I'm building a script that loops through folders and prints all available PDF-files (long story).
I'm having some issues with PDF-files, that has multiple artboards in them.
When doing the obligatory "sourceDoc.Print()" it only prints the first artboard. Are there any available print-options that I can set to force it to print ALL artboards in the given file?

Managed to get it working - I needed to do this as well:

options.jobOptions = printOptions;
I had already declared PrintColorManagementOptions and PrintOptions, but I'd forgotten about PrintJobOptions. After setting these, everything worked beautifully.

Printing all router configuration screens

After reading all the posts regarding this subject (no it can't be done) there is a simple way to do this (I am sure everyone on this forum already knows how to do this). Log into the router, go to every configuration screen, click on the file tab and click on save as This will let you print out every configuration page.

Yep, I've actually done this once, with a WRT54GS when I retired it. It was time consuming and boring *smile*, but you can do it. That's what I meant by the .cfg files not being real useful without the router...yes, you can restore it there and print all the screen after doing so. However, from the .cfg file itself, now there's a challenge *smile*.
I think I still have those somewhere around here *rustle* *rustle*...

Safari can't connect to local server for AirPlay and printer

I have several Airplay devices and one printer set up using Bonjour or AirPlay. This is all on most up to date Mavericks, iOS 7, and 2009 iMac.
In the past, I used to be able to enter an IP address (like for the printer or a powered speaker) and log in to check for firmware updates, etc. But now, while the speakers and printer ALL connect and play/print fine from my Mac and iOS and are clearly on my local network — when I try to access the sites for each — Safari says it "can’t connect to the local server because, it can’t connect to the local server"!
What is happening and, how can I regain web access to these devices?
It does not seem to be the printer, two powered speakers, or a small Wi-Fi device used with an AV stereo. They are all made by different companies and all can’t be broken. Especially, since they all work fine except for access to their internal web sites.
What do I have set, somewhere, that would block out web page access in the local network?

Well, I never could get the Bonjour menu to access device settings in Safari.
So I looked to see if Bonjour could work in Chrome or Firefox. It can!
But you need a plugin. I used Ciaociao in Firefox (I think also for Chrome). It places a small globe icon with other things you added like Pinterest, etc. in the tab bar.
It worked like a charm. I selected the devices from a Bonjour menu Ciaociao presents, accessed the settings, downloaded firmware updates, changed names, etc.
Clearly, there seems to be a Bonjour Safari issue. At least with Mavericks.
It was disappointing that hours with multiple Apple techs did not solve this. A lot of time on hold too. Nobody really knew about Bonjour or Airplay at all. Everyone wanted to pass me off to some other “device” when, it was not a device issue but the broader “internet of things” issue.
Apple is clearly unprepared for customer service in this high growth area.

RH7 (HTML) - Is there a way to print ALL topics in a book?

I've generated an HTML project and users want to know if there is a way to print all topics in a book instead of printing one topic at a time. We have the print selected topic and print all topics in book options with generated help (.chm). Can anyone help?

When you select Print, this is the dialog you get.
The output will not adhere to your CSS so don't expect it to be pretty. There's information about this on my site.
It might be better to create PDFs and make them available from the TOC or somewhere in your help.
