Previous/Next View functionality is missing

I do not see option to go back to the previous view in iPod version like in PC version. It is very inconvenient to jump to hiperlink and have no ability to return back. I found out that this question was already asked in http://forums.adobe.com/message/4060734#4060734 on Dec 2, 2011. But yet there is no any feedback on this.

It is long overdue to implement this feature in the software.
Mobile enviroment put particular emphasis on being able to navigate conveniently within the real estate of the screen of mobile device and within a narrow scope of commands.
It is a pain to click a hyperlink to jump withion a document and then manually scroll back or remember a particular page number where you jumped from.\
Ir can be implemented as gesture.

Previous/Next View commands not available

I have two PDF documents created from Adobe Acrobat 7.
Using Adobe READER, in one document I can navigate around jumping through several different pages and zoom levels and then use the right-mouse click to choose "Previous View" or "Next View".
In the other document these commands are not available and the tool icons are grayed out.
The only difference I can see between the two documents is that one has Fast Web View enabled and the other doesn't. I went back and resaved trouble document with Fast Web View enabled, but it didn't help after testing it again.
Any ideas?

Missing 'open view' functionality in 0ADHOC_TABLE (0ADHOC), web template

Hi - it appears that the 'open view' functionality is missing as button in web template 0ADHOC_TABLE (0ADHOC), despite there is 'safe view' functionality (button).
Did someone add this button/functionality to 0ADHOC_TABLE?
What is the correct Javascript coding as we already tried to incorporate the 'open view' Javascript from template 0ANALYZER what does not work in this matter!

as described in the documentation you have to add first HELP_SERVICE and HELP_SERVICE_CLASS to your Web Item

This is done in Template 0ANALYZER with the TITLE Web Item. Just copy those 2 parameters from 0ANALYZER to 0ADHOC Template, then it should work.

Setting Initial View to include Previous View and Next View buttons

I am trying to set up a PDF so that when others open it, the Previous View and Next View buttons appear on the tool bar. Is there away to do this? Or do I need to create my own buttons?
I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended version 9.4.4

The previous/next icons are missing on my email

There is no Previous/Next icons to view my previous email. I can only look at 1 page of my email, it wont let me view previous pages of emails.

Its the right side of the apps. dock. In the past when I dragged down a bookmark here an icon on a spring appeared. As i wrote before, these little icons are no longer there. When I hover over the dock, text appears over the dock identifying the link. If I click on the area, the connection is made, but the little sping icon is no longer there.

I try to open one of our reports with the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0" sample application. Thie report relies on a com based UFL. I get the following error message:

The fact that you can see the UFL under 'Additional Functions' tells me that the UFL is compiled as 32 bit. This is good for creating the report in the IDE which is 32 bit. But the app you are building is compiled as 64 bit. But there is no 64 bit UFL(?) that yo have built so far. So, two options;
1) Build the UFL as "Any CPU". I am not sure if this will actually work. never tried this, but I do know that it is not possible to compile an app using the CR runtime as "Any CPU". E.g.; we always recommend to compile either as 32 bit and \ or 64 bit, not "Any CPU" This may be the case with the UFL, thus the next suggestion.
2) Compile a second copy of the UFL as 64 bit. You'll then have to use 64 bit GAC and regasm on that dll.

UFL 'u212com.dll' that implements this function is missing

I am attempting to write a user function library for the crystal reports version that ships with Visual Studio 2010. Following the walkthrough on the Business Objects website (although that is for VS2005) I have successfully created my .dll file and added it to the GAC, and it appears in the function list under 'Additional Functions' in the Crystal Reports formula editor. However when I use the function on in my Windows forms application, I get the error "UFL 'u212com.dll' that implements this function is missing.". This is on my development machine and I have installed the latest service pack for Crystal Reports for VS2010 (64-bit). My OS is Windows 7 64-bit.
I have two questions:
1) What version of the .NET framework should my class library be targeting? My windows forms application targets the .NET framework version 4, but should I be doing the same thing for the .dll for Crystal Reports? It does show up in the formula editor though, so I guess that means that Crystal Reports recognises it correctly.
2) I have done a search on the PC for the file 'u212com.dll' and it is in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64 (and also in the equivalent 32-bit folder) Is this correct, or is there is a specific 64-bit version of this file?

1. just collect all the values and concatinate using Strings, also use one delimiter between each value.
like this,
while(condition){
String Result ="";
Result += wdContext.currentTreeNode().getName() + "," ;}
2. Finally assign this String to some Context, that you want to use in next view.
3. Use StringTokenizer Class, make Result String as Source and comma as delimeter, then you can able to get list of
previously stored values.

Previous/Next Event arrow icons

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but it's so useful for me I want to post about it in case it helps others.
I just now, 18 months after being a Switcher noticed that when you are viewing images in a specific event, at the top, right side of the display border are left/right arrows which move you between neighboring events. Has this been available all along?
I have forever been clicking the All Events button just to navigate to the neighbor event. Of course from the all Events view you can scroll across the key photo to preview but when you're in a different kind of work flow mode the previous/next Event links are great.

Thanks for pointing that out. I had not noticed it either. But then I rarely have a need to page through events in order.
Another tip for you. When in iPhoto simply hit the "E" key on your keyboard to go to the events list.

DISABLE VIEW, FUNCTION, PACKAGE

Hi all,
My export/import is having error in its logs becuase there are invalid objects like views, functions, packages, etc whis is caused by a missing db_links.
This dump was taken from PROD so the link there exist. But we are importing it to the DEV server and we do not need the db_link and so with all the views, functions, etc
that are associated with it. But i do not want to drop them just to clear the error because it is tedious.
Is it possible to disable the views, and other invalid objects so that my export/import logs are clear of errors?
By the way I know this is no big deal, but the auditing group do not want to see errors in the logs.

I would suggest that instead of taking schema exp and imp ,
do it just for the tables only.
exp system/pwd file=backup.dmp indexes=y grants=y tables=schema_name.table_name log=table_export.logand then import using
imp system/pwd file=backup.dmp ignore=Y statistics=none tables=table_name fromuser=A touser=AThis will it will import only the tables.

How to extend/overwrite adf core datatable previous/next range operation?

Can someone tell me where and how I can extend (or overwrite) default datatable's scrolling operation?
I had a view object with one of its column is Ordimage. I created a datatable for this view object. Since Jdev 10.1.3 doesn't provider renderer for intermedia objects, I programmatically created image map for the image and stored the map reference in a string[] in a backing bean. With very simple form, this worked OK (i.e. correct set of images show properly when I pressed Previous/Next).
However, in a Search form having a second iterator in find mode, the image doesn't show up when Next/Previous is pressed.
Any idea?

Since installing LTR 5.4, which I've now upgraded to 5.6, I've encountered repeated slowness and malfunctions in operations, especially when using the Compare View function and the Tab key to open and close the right and left side panels. Such problems never arose during two years of using LTR-4 and nothing else has changed on my computer. I have a pretty simple system with only a few plug-ins, which are usually not in operation. I have 12GB of RAM in my Windows 7 PC. I could illustrate these problems with screen shots if you would tell me how to submit screen shots. Otherwise I will try to describe the problems in words.
The problem is clearly cumulative, growing worse as usage time passes. Compare View feature gradually slows down and eventually seems to choke as my work session proceeds. If I Exit LTR and re-enter and start all over, things will work normally for maybe 30 minutes, but then the Compare View feature begins to become very slow to respond. In a recent example with my screen full of thumbnails in Library mode I highlighted two images to compare. LTR started to open the Compare View screen by first having the top row of thumbnails disappear to be replaced by the "SELECT" and "CANDIDATE" words in their spaces (but no images), but Compare View never succeeded in gaining control of the screen. After some seconds the top row of thumbnails reasserted its position and the Compare View windows disappeared. But LTR kept trying to bring them back. Again the top row of thumbnails would go away, Select and candidate would reappear, try again, and give up. This went on for at least 2-3 minutes before I tried to choose File and Exit, but even that did not initially want to respond. It doesn't like to accept other commands when it's trying to open Compare View. Finally it allowed me to exit.
To experiment I created a new catalog of 1100 images. After 30-40 minutes, the Compare View function began to operate very slowly. With left and right side panels visible and two thumbnails highlighted, hitting Compare View can take half a minute before the two mid-size images open in their respective SELECT and CANDIDATE windows. When the side panels are open and two images are in the Select/Candidate spaces, hitting the Tab button to close the side panels produces a very delayed response--25-30 seconds to close them, a few more seconds to enlarge the two images to full size. To reverse the process (i.e., to recall the two side panels), hitting Tab would make the two sides of the screen go black for up to a minute, with no words visible. Eventually the info fields in the panels would open up.
I also created a new user account and imported a folder of 160 images. After half an hour Compare View began mis-placing data. (I have a screen shot to show this.) How to make a Previous/Next Menu

Hi there. This is my first time posting in the Adobe forums so please be patient if I don't do things correctly.
I currently have the Adobe Web Design CS5 package and all the programs that come with it, but my question is specifically about Dreamweaver. My computer is a Macbook with the latest operating system as far as I know.
I've been trying to create a next/previous menu for parts of my own personal website. It's http://www.aidenart.com . If you click on the link to the Concept Art page you should see a bunch of image thumbnails that act as links. Click on any one of those images and you're suppose to see the full image from the thumbnail in a whole new page. On the pages with the full images I would like to include, at the bottom, a jump menu so that a visitor can pick any of the pages that they might want to see (I already know how to do this part), but I would also like to include buttons which allow the visitor to visit the next image in the list and also the previous one in the list. You know, a previous and next menu. I've seen other websites using those kinds of buttons so I know it's possible somehow.
By looking at the source code of some websites and doing a bit of research on my own, I think this can be done using javascript of some kind. Maybe by using an "onClick" behaviour or something. I looked at a few different web help sites, including W3 Schools, and I still haven't found any clear cut explanations on how to make a previous/next menu. If someone could just show me the basic code for making a simple one that actual works then I could probably work from that.
I would prefer it if I didn't have to bother with the dreamweaver extenstions section because most things listed in the exchange are something you have to pay for. And for those of you who think I should just make individual links on each page, please keep in mind that I'll want to add more pages in the future. Most likely a lot of pages. I also want to be able to make previous/next menus for the comics section of my website for when I have more comic pages available, so I really need to know how to do this.
I hope that was enough information for you guys. I can try to provide code if you guys want although I'm not sure how that would help solve my current problem.

Only way to do pagination effectively requires either a database or XML files containing your data. Neither way is really for a beginner based on my experience with both. And based on the size of your library right now, pagination isn't what you really need.
If it is going to be an image gallery you could look into the php Gallery script if you have a mySQL database ( http://gallery.menalto.com/ ). But for simple solutions.
For even smaller solutions you can look to JQuery solutions. They require minimal amounts of coding, mostly just file inclusions.

Im having a table, on selecting a particular row of a table by clicking on a radio button. i need that row details to be passed on(populated) to the next view when i navigate to that view by clicking on a button?

Hi Suresh,
Your scenario is simple. Just follow the ex as shown below
(Assuming you want default selection view provided by table itself.)
1>Create 2 views (Ex:A and B)
2>Create a Context with a node and attributes(For Ex:Person as node and Fname and Last Name as attributes
2>In A view create a table with F name and L Name(map to context as well) and a action button to navigate to B view when you selected a particualr row o.k
3>In B view, create a TextView with mapping to LastName(or all the data if you want from input selection) from the context
If you want you can add back action button from B view to A view for easy navigation.
4>Execute the application and select any row in the table appeared, press next action button,you can see that the selected row details will be shown in second(B) view.
If you do the above example, I think you can easily find the solution for navigation issue.. try it out.
In case if you are not able to ...let me know..I have that example.
