I had to reinstall OSX on my computer, and now I can't play old purchases, it says its not authorized, but these songs are on my account records...don't know what to do ! I could put them on my iPod.

When I go to my previously purchased items in iTunes store two films which I have purchased do not appear. Can anyone help?

Are they still in the store (fim studios occasonally remove their films), or are they hidden from the Purchased link (hiding and unhiding) ? Some studios also don't allow their films to be re-downloaded, in which case do you have them on your backup of your downloads ?

Itune purchases not playing

I have purchased a few songs on itunes and downloaded them to my ipod. They have played fine in the past but on select occasions they do not play. When selected, it appears the ipod will not read the song and reverts back to the main menu. Other times, it allows them to play. This only occurs on songs I have purchased but does impact them all at once. Songs originating from my CD collection are unaffected. Any thoughts?

Is your iPod sofware current? Purchased music not playing on the iPod can be a symptom that it's software is too old.

ITunes Purchase Not Playing - No Error

Just bought "The Sum of All Fears" from iTunes, and downloaded to my G4 with OS 10.4.8 and iTunes 7.0.2 and Quicktime 7.0.4 installed.
Have viewed an iTunes movie before on this box but this one's not playing correctly.
Won't initialize in iTunes; will open in Quicktime but only a grey screen while the numbers indicate the file's playing.
How to get a store credit so I can re-download? What to do?

Previous purchases not downloading to IPhone4

Hi!
My friend is having some trouble downloading his previous purchased songs onto his Iphone 4. He goes into the itunes store app, to download his previous purchases. When he clicks on the little arrow to start sycing it to his iphone, it says its downloading, and then it stops and the little arrow shows again. Can someone please help. Thanks!

ITunes Cloud problem-previous purchases not showing on 1 auth comp.

I am running iTunes on an HP Pavilion under Windows 7. iTunes version 10.4. iTunes store works fine except that when I try to call up my previous purchases (per the cloud) nothing shows up. This works on another authorized PC I use and on my iPad2. Any ideas what could be going on?

I've got the same problem too, sometimes (and now) my purchases don't show under my "All" tab.
Its frustrating when you're trying to verify that any apps you redeemed have been registered.
By the way, rebooting doesn't work. I tried.

Previous Purchases not applied to Season-Pass or Multi-Pass?

I’ve purchased 15 episodes of Lost, Season 2, and when I try to buy a Season Pass for that Season, the iTunes Store wants me to buy these episodes again. Since iTunes is adding the Season-Pass or Multi-Pass in the middle of the season, I would think they would apply what I’ve purchased so far to the Season Pass. What do you Think?

Why do songs i have purchased not play??

I have purchased a few songs in itunes and they worked on my iphone 4s fine for a while and now some songs just wont play or they will play a different song? Yet the album artwork says it is the song i have purchased but is not playin??

Purchases Not Playing.

Some of my purchases aren't playing. I authorize them each time i wanna play them, but they never play. I have tried to deauthorize my computer and then reauthorize it , but they still won't play. When I deauthorized them all, the certain songs that weren't playing at first were finally playing, but when I reauthorized these songs, they stopped playing again. Also, I used a different email to authorize these songs that aren't playing, but it says that these songs should transfer to the second email i started using. If anyone could help that would be great. Thank you.

Hey renrut32,
Make sure you are authorizing with the account that purchased the song. To view the account that purchased the song youll have to get info on the file, highlight the file>File>Get Info>account name.

Old purchases not playing on iTunes or iPod

A couple of months ago my computer quasi-crashed and I had to start a new user account on the Windows XP system I'm using. I imported the old library that was backed up and manually added the folders I had added since then and continued using iTunes. I was also using my iPod through that without syncing it so as not to lose all the playback info/ratings I had.
Yesterday I manually added all the songs that I had gotten from iTunes (mostly the free songs of the week) as well as all my downloads from eMusic and CD purchases. Now that I've done that, I can no longer play my old iTunes purchases on my iPod or on iTunes even with authorization, which it asks for every time. Please tell me there is a way to fix this without spending hundreds of dollars to re-download songs which are already on my computer and iPod.

Thanks for the reply. I tried all that the other day, and the SC Info folder solved the problem for my newer downloads. The old ones are still stuck in that loop and they won't play on the iPod either.
Also, under my purchased music it only lists the songs that I've purchased since the computer crash. I think that may have something to do with it, but I don't know how I'd go about fixing that and I can't find any way to do it using my account options.

The app that I've previously purchased not available in my store anymore. At least not on my location.

Back in 2011 I bought the app Bunny Munro by Nick Cave, I left the dark side of my PC and got my slef a brand new MAC, all the apps saved on my PC were lost. I re-downloaded the apps again on my new MAC, the only exception was the previously mentioned app. I can still find it on google, on itunes page, but it wont show in my itunes store. I'm from Slovenia, EU, so I think it has to do something with the location. Should I contact support, app cost me 10 EUR and it was pretty wicked, I'd like to get it back.

You have to log into your amazon.com account in a browser in order to purchase and download content. The ability to purchase and download within the Kindle app itself went away quite some time ago.
You can use Safari on the iPad to go to amazon.com.

ITunes song purchase not playing

I bought a song from iTunes, and when I tap to play it it goes onto the album artwork and pause/play button and then instantly goes to the next track, without making a sound. I can't delete the song directly from my iPhone, and it doesn't show up on my iTunes purchases, I can re-download it but I don't want to be charged again, any suggestions? Thanks

Try these steps to fix the issue:
1) Delete the songs that aren't playing from your iTunes library.
