Previous Store purchases not showing in library

So This might have been answered previously, or might be a stupid question. But I can't find the answers I seek.
I've got quite a few TV Shows, Movies, Music Albums etc. That I've bought off Itunes.
I can see them if I go to my iTunes store>Purchased list. I can't see them in my library.
Please note, if I download these TV Shows, movies, etc. They will show up in the library.
Now my question is.. Why do I have to download these from the 'purchased' page from the iTunes store, where previously this was not required.
All content. Downloaded, or not. Would show up in my library and I was just able to stream it if I could.
I would prefer to stream the content if I could, and I would like to be able to view it all in the library without much trouble.
As I said before, initially, everything would be displayed in the library..
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Either they never downloaded properly...or something very strange is going on with your computer. First, check to make sure all of your purchases have been downloaded. To do this, when you're in iTunes go to the top toolbar and click on "Store" and then from this menu pick "check for purchases"/"check for available downloads" (option depends upon the version of iTunes you have installed). If you get a message telling you all of your purchases have been downloaded...then you need to contact the iTunes store and explain your problem.

You may need to download a lower resolution version of the movie in order for it to sync to your iPod.

Hi, despite my new iPhone 5 downloading previously purchased music from iCloud, my music library remains empty? Why won't the music show up?

Are you referring to purchases on your iPhone not showing in your iTunes library on your computer?
Make sure your computer is authorized and you are signed in to iTunes with the Apple ID the purchases were made with.
Open iTunes on your computer > iTunes Store > Purchased (in Quick links section on the right)
Download all your music by selecting the Music tab > All Songs > Click download all on bottom right.
Now you can enable automatic dowloads so future purchases download automatically:
Open itunes on your computer > Preferences > iTunes Store > enable automatic downloads

ITunes purchase not showing in library

I puchased an almbum via the iTuens store last night and I have the files. The album shows in "recently added", but does not show in the library itself. Anyone have this problem?

Several posts a day about this. A small percentage given the millions of iTune users but still seems to be a real issue. Complain to Apple via feedback.

What happens if in the Get Info window you add the lettter (any letter actually) "X" to the end of the artist name, then remove it?
Delete the files from iTunes but do not let iTunes move them to the trash. Now go to where they are located in Finder and add them again. Does that work?

Purchases not showing in library

My Purchase History accurately lists all of my purchases. However, not all of them show up in my iTunes Library or anywhere on my commputer (I've followed all suggestions about searching for .m4v files, etc.
What can I do.

Previous EMI purchases not showing up as purchased/upgradeable...

I have multiple songs previously purchased throught the iTunes music store that are listed as purchased if I go to my "previous purchases" history that are not listed as previously purchased when I view the album. Therefore, these are not upgradeable to iTunes plus. For example, I purchased 3 Culture Club songs on the same album at the same time. Despite the fact that the ENTIRE album is available from iTunes Plus, only 1 song was listed as previously purchased for me to upgrade. I can't find any way to contact Apple about this! All their support links lead to FAQs, or this discussion forum. Are there no e-mail contacts? Do you have to go through telephone support?

Store support is only by e-mail. Pick the appropriate link from the following to notify the store.

Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

I found a solution to my problem.
> start menu
> accessories,
> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.

Apps associated with itunes accoutn not showing in library

The apps I have previously downloaded are not showing up in my apps section of my library. I've synced, backed up, transfered purchases and it never shows up. I can see the apps in the purchase section of the itunes store but they do not show up in my library.
In addition how to i delete/disassociate apps from my itunes account. I know previously you could do it by right clicking and selecting delete in the library but am unsure if that is still possible since the update to itunes.
Not sure if it matters but i have windows 8.1

My worry is that if I sync my iPad/iPhone then I will lose the track on those also!

If you cannot find the file on your hard drive then once you delete the current broken entry you should be able to redownload from iTunes in the Cloud. This assumes the item in question qualifies. Note that audiobooks, digital booklets, iTunes LPs & Extras, ringtones, selected movies etc. don't.
If prompted don't hide the item. You may find that you need to close and then reopen iTunes before it will appear for download.

Purchases not showing up on 2nd Mac

I have 2 Macs and 1 App Store account. I was able to download Lion on both my iMac and MacBook. However, to go to Mountain Lion, the MacBook App Store is not showing my purchased apps and it appears to want me to purchase ML again. This was not the case with Lion. Any hints?

No need to re purchase Mountain Lion.
Sign in to the App Store first to view purchased apps. From the App Store menu bar top of your screen click Store > Sign In.

HT1473 Problem importing music; music imported not showing in library

ITunes is really becoming a pain in the ***. I'm really ****** right now. Three days ago my new album purchase could not be located after it downloaded. I had to spend more time trying to make it work. Cd imported today does not show in library.

If you are running MacOS X 10.9 and Aperture is installed in your Applications folder and simply called Aperture, not Apertre 3 or something, the AppStore should be showing you the update.
Have you already updated to Aperture 3.4.5 from the Support page Aperture 3.4.5?
Try to update manually to 3.4.5 and then reboot and sign again into the AppStore with your AppleID and look at the Update page.
For some forum members it helped to set the main system language to English U.S. to make the update finally show.

Itunes store will not show on my computer

suddenly itunes store will not show up on my computer. When I click on itunes my music library comes up but when I click on itunes store it appears to download but the page stays blank. I have updated my software so that is not the problem. I would love some help on this.
