Previous version of Dreamweaver?

I am using Dreamweaver CC but need to use CS6 version for a class, but I do not see option to download a previous version using the Desktop App. Thanks for any help...

Make sure you are having paid version of Dreamweaver CC, Then launch Creative Cloud desktop App and click on Apps tab
Then under find new apps tab click on Filters and Versions Then choose Previous version.
Click install for Dreamweaver, you will get two options CC and CS6. Click on CS6.

The new one has an annoying bug with the preferences that hangs DW when saving files...

Revert to previous version of CS6 not happy with 12.1

How can I revert back to the previous version of Dreamweaver? CS6 12.1 is not what I need

Uninstall Dreamweaver. You can then open the Adobe Application Manager to reinstall Dreamweaver. By default, it should install the original version. However, you need to be careful when the Application Manager advises you subsequently that updates are available, because you'll overwrite the original CS6 if you automatically accept all updates without first checking what they are.
I suggest that you submit a report through the form at http://adobe.ly/DWBug explaining (politely) why you're uninstalling the Creative Cloud update. I think that sort of feedback will be useful to the engineering and product team. Alternatively, you can summarize your dissatisfaction here, and I'll pass the details on.

Now I have upgraded to studio 8. The question I have is: can I
safely uninstall all the previous versions of dreamweaver,
fireworks etc without upsetting my installation of studio 8? Or do

Updating to Dreamweaver 2014, it did not overwrite previous version

Creative Cloud showed the 2014 version for installation. I expected it would overwrite the previous version but it did not. I would appreciate someone confirming that uninstalling the previous version via Control Panel will not mess up the 2014 installation.

That has confused many people. Must admit, I was surprised as well.
I thought the Cloud version would remain the same executable file constantly updated. I did not think that Adobe would produce a separate executable with updated major version naming - which they have done. The new name CC 2014 is confusing at best but we're stuck with it.

I don't have the extract option in my version of Dreamweaver CC 2014 for Mac

I just installed Dreamweaver CC 2014 for Mac it and I don't have the "Extract" option anywhere. It doesn't appear in the Window menu, and pressing cmd+K doesn't do anything.
Any ideas??

Avoid the browser cache display the previous version of my flash website

I frequently update my website. But customers do not see immediately the changes as the cache displays the previous version.
How do I avoid this? Any advice is highly appreciated.

Hi, this is a bit of a wrong forum since your problem doesn't pertain to AS per se, but for what it's worth I'm gonna tell you how i deal with the browser caching and it helped me (both SWF and JavaScript caches). I always use the Dreamweaver site and after I'm done compiling the SWF file I suply "Upload" the file to the testing/remote server. Hope that helps.

You won't have to uninstall- the new software will go into a
different
folder and won't interfere or overwrite anything from the
previous version.
You can still use the prior version, but if on windows you
can't run it at
the same time you have cs3 open. You can manually uninstall
it or parts of
it if you wish to save HD space.

How do I reinstall a downloaded cs6 version of dreamweaver

I used migration assistant to move software and files to a new iMac. Everything worked except dreamweaver. I get an error message saying that it can't find some files and may need to be reinstalled. I have tried to do that from your website but have been unable to. I have the sereal number but have not found a cs6 dreamweaver download link.

Yes. There were two updates, though. So the last version of
DW before the
release of CS3 was 8.0.2.

Firefox update 10 won't open and the previous version 3.6 won't load any pages. I have done everything this site said to do. HELP?

The last version of Firefox that I had was the one before 3.6. I stopped upgrading due to it always messing up and not working right for me... whether it be due to vista, or just errors on your part. My husband decided to upgrade firefox to the newest one two days ago because the version I had was just "too slow!" Ever since he did that, I cannot get firefox to open. No matter how many times I uninstall it and delete everything mozilla on my computer then reinstall after restarting my computer, it just refuses to open. Every time i try it says that firefox has stopped working. It cant even check for solutions. I then try to click on the icon and I get something that says: firefox.exe - Bad Image C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.6195_none_d09154e044272b9a\MSVCP80.dll is either not designed to run n windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
I have tried installing it over and over again several times, same message shows up. So i had clicked on the link to go download the previous version of firefox... what sucks is that the only version on the site is 3.6.27. I have never upgraded to this. So the second i installed that version, i now am able to open up firefox... BUT it is unable to connect. I have internet... a pretty bad ass connection. So my internet is not the problem. I then looked up how to fix that issue and did all 5 things listed under the Firefox cant load pages but other browsers can link. Still nada! I am now stuck using IE and going insane. I am on the verge of throwing my laptop out of the damn window because I have to wait 3 hours for google to load. Nothing is working for me... and it would be appreciated for something more. If i can get help with a ton of details on what to do or how to fix this issue... either version... i would greatly appreciate it. I am going nuts having to put up with IE because my husband decided to update Firefox to a version that sucks with vista!

I do updates and then have to reinstall previous versions - time and time again because of the number of unsupported add-ons

4 or 5 times I've updated Firefox only to have to reinstall the previous version due to incompatibility with add-ons / plug-ins / toolbars. I'm not a big user of Toolbars but I have some add on I use daily.
The last 3 times I did a "suggested by Firefox" update I've had to reinstall a previous version from my saved files in order to use Firefox. This problem has caused me to return to IE as my default browser - but unwillingly.
My current setup is Firefox 4.0.1 Beta and I had to reinstall a version 3 in the Firefox folder until addons starting working in this 4.0.1 Beta. However 4.0.1 has always hung up, even opening a tab and ceases to respond; sometimes for minutes.
I run Win XP - SP3 Dell Pentium 4 - 3.0ghz with 4 gigs of DDR2 - GX520. So it's not an equipment problem - (I have 4 PC's on my home LAN - although each serves it's purpose and seldom are 2 used at the same time.
When I installed 4.0.1 and then reinstalled 3.x ... I've been hoping for an update --- I love Firefox - have ever since first use - and then today I saw the update versions had jumped from 4 all the way to 7. I was enthused.
Same issue. On install over the V 3.x it showed 6 items of add-ons that were incompatible. I did not remove the V 7 ... I simple reopened the 4.0.1 beta. I use it for single page browsing as tabs locks it up or slows it to a crawl.
I'm having to continue using IE as my default --- I always keep a backup browser, but I don't care for much of anything that has an MS on it's name.
I've never posted to Mozilla ... but the idea crossed my mind over a year ago when I updated and had to back-up and reinstall. WHY can't a program precede the update to check for compatibility, just as an upgrade adviser from one OS to another?
This was the biggest list of all. NET Framework Assistant, Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, Roboform ... there were 2 others. I don't use the Yahoo Toolbar. I have Google Toolbar installed but keep it hidden except when I need it (for Page Rank, etc., I work websites).
But I won't use a browser that doesn't support AI Roboform.
I honestly love Firefox. I code webpages - .asp, .html and do SEO ... but I don't know the difficulty of writing even a small application. Would it be too difficult to have a small program that would check for these add-on incompatibilities before installing the updates.
I was impressed with 4.0.1 beta until I realized that opening a new window or tab bogged it down.
I want Firefox back but not with band-aids and work-around bandages. Is there a version between 4.0.1 and v7 which I tried tonight that would support my plug-ins / add-on. My experience with Firefox using versions up to 3.x has been great. But for months and months I open 4.0.1 and open my TV guide at ZapIt and then I've had to use IE 8 for all my web browsing.
My most important add-on is for Roboform and 2nd would be for Google Toolbar - but on a scale of 1-10 Roboform is a 10+ and Google Toolbar a 3.
If this post does not go to the support team at Firefox then how would I go about suggesting an Update Adviser prior to installing an update?
Anyone with a flexible solution - even short term - that would allow me to see Firefox improvements since the v4 I'm using would be more appreciated than I could ever express.
Since I've never posted before I'm not even sure how I'll get a response or be able to see any responses. Something during the registration said I could get an email when a reply was posted.

How can I return to a previous version of Numbers? Or how can I have all my sheets show on a column on the left hand side, as in the previous version?

I updated my Numbers for Mac only to find out that there are several changes that make it less appealing for me so far (and I don't think it's only the learning curve). Questions: a) can I somehow edit the location of where I can find all the sheets (right now they are on top of the page, and you can't see all of them listed at quick glance but must scroll/arrow through them) I have in that spreadsheet? In the previous version they were all easy access on the left hand side.
Or b) can one go back to a previous version of a program somehow?

On my machine I just hit shift-command-j (the keyboard shortcut I assigned in System Preferences) and a list of the sheets in the current document pops up:
I type a number from the list and jump immediately to that sheet. The hands never have to leave the keyboard.
(This particular document had a sheet named for each month. But the sheets in your document automatically will be listed instead.)
This is done via a Jump to Sheet Automator Service (Dropbox download). To install just doubleclick the .workflow package and (if needed) click 'Download Anyway' in System Preferences > Privacy & Security.
Installation will cause a new item to appear in your Numbers > Services menu. Then, if you want a keyboard shortcut, go here in System Preferences and add one:
You can rename or remove the service by holding down the option key in Finder and choosing Go > Library > Services. You can also view the AppleScript contaned within the service by opening the .workflow package in Automator.
Note, also, that in Numbers 3 you don't have to use those left-right arrows upper right to slowly scroll left-right to the sheets that are out of view. Just move your cursor up to the "band" with the "tabs" and drag left or right. That's much faster than using the arrows.
