Previous Version of the document after sent to Record Centre

In the current Farm we have 2 web apps
Collaboration
Record Centre
We are sending the document to Record Centre using the Send to Connection and the connection is setup as Move and leave a link .
Once the document is sent to Record Centre its leaves the link and ext. is ASPX .
After this if you go and check the version history of the left link and click on any of the previous versions . SharePoint can't open the file as the content is word but the extension is ASPX and
its gives you a error for cant open zip file
Can someone suggest a solution for this ?
Note : if you download the file and change the ext to docx from aspx it works fine .

According to your post, my understanding is that SharePoint can't open the file as the content is word but the extension is ASPX after sending to Record Centre.
After sending the document to the Records Centre using the new Send To action, the document is moved to the Records Centre and becomes a record, while a link is left behind in its’ place in the document library, with the filename doc1.aspx.
Note the file extension of the link indicates this link is an ASPX page while the rest of the filename matches the original document filename. This file extension is the significant factor in the problem.
To open the document, you can click the link, and then open the ASPX page. In the page, you can click the New Location link to download the document.

My first thoughts are
• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

Not to worry, you're not the first to expect Print to finish by returning you to the edit mode. The thing is that Printing is so hit and miss with this version of the app, you will probably want to stay in the Print window for more than one attempt.

How can I go back to the optimized version of the photo after I have viewed it on my iPad?

The reason why I chose the iCloud services (I'm on a 200GB plan), is that I wanted to be able to have on-demand access to my photo library and view my pictures, without having to store them on the device itself.
Now It seems like every time I access a picture that is stored on the cloud from my iPad, the original full resolution version of it is downloaded on my device and it stays there. This can cause my iPad's storage to be full by only viewing a few of the albums that I have stored on the iCloud!
There must be a way to go back to the optimized version of the photo after you've viewed them on your device. Can anyone please help me with that?

Seems silly to not allow a rollback from a file repository of previous app versions.

I'm not sure I follow, I have not sync'd the ipad with my computer. I just saw an update in the app store and took it.
I tried to del and install the app from the purchased tab in the app store, that reinstalled v2.1 of the app. This also fails to launch.
I have made two service requests to the developer, no response at this time.

If you don't already have a previous copy backed up somewhere on your computer, you can't. The iTunes Store will have only the most recent version of any app.

Regarding removing all previous versions of the Mocrosoft Server Speech Platform Runtime

While I was trying to install Kinect SDK Ver. 1.8, I was asked to remove all previous versions of the Mocrosoft Server Speech Platform Runtime.
Regarding this, I tried to find the program but I couldn't.
I am working on Windows Vista.
Any comments and solutions would be appreciated.

Based on my research on Kinect SDK Ver. 1.8, the supported OS as below:
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Embedded Standard 7
Maybe this is the root reason that why cannot install Kinect SDK Ver. 1.8 on Vista.

Trying to find the Content Type of a Older version of a document using powershell.
We are trying to delete a Content Type from SharePoint Library from the UI and keep getting the error "Content Type Is Still In Use", have gone through many posts and checked everything like, Checked Out Items, Recycle Bins (User, Site Collection,...),
the only thing we couldn't verify is if this content type is used by older versions of the documents as this library has versioning enabled. (#2, from

You can check the usage of the content type using PowerShell like below:

Re - Submit the document after reaching Lifetime

Hello Experts,
i need to re-submit the document after reaches its lifetime, if the user needs that document again?
this all are done inside Collaboration Room.
In detail,
I had created a Users called,
1) Author (-Permission : R/W-)
2) Employee (-Permission : Read-)
Author creating one document and setting lifetime for that document, then the Employee can view the document depends on the LifeTime what Author specified, then the document will not show the Employee( Working till this ).
but the Employee needs that document again, so he/she have to request for the document after the lifetime reaches.
How can i acheive this?
One More thing,
Notification have to send to the Author once the document got Expired, how it is possible?

Hi Mythili,
by enabling the subscription service on the repository you can configure on folder level who should get notifications (Author Group) when documents in this folder expires.
Unfortunately, this is all you can do within the standard KM functionality.
In order to create notifications in advance that go to the owner / last editor or / last modifier of the document you need to do some implementation. You could for example create a custom KM report that should run daily and check the expiration date of the documents and send this custom made notifications.

Sorry, but I didn't understand your post because, fortunately, I have found an old version of the app (2.0 compatible with the IOS 6.1.5) and managed to reinstall it back to my iPod Touch. It is working pretty good, showing me the location of the device etc. I even received an e-mail telling me a sound was played when I asked the app to do so from the icloud site.
The only thing I should care now is to avoid automatic updates to the device.
My next step is trying to do the same with Pages and Keynote. The new updates are not compatible with IOS 6.1.5 either.
