Previous versions only accessible with complete CC Subscription?

Hi,
I just signed in to an After Effects subscription, but I have to use AE CS6. When I look into the CC managing app, it does not show AE under the tab "previous versions". It did show up, however, when I installed a complete CC subscription on another computer. Is there a difference in licensing, i.e. "one-product"-subscriptions have only access to the latest versions?
System: Mac OS 10.8.5

Bohx if After Effects is not listed on the other computer then please verify that the computer meets or exceeds the system requirements for After Effects. You can find a list of the system requirements for the Creative Cloud Desktop applications at System requirements | Creative Cloud. - Match Legacy ... Gamma Adjustments checked ON
But it does not correct the colors in effects. And checking or unchecking Make Movie/Output Module Settings/Color Management/Profile/Preserve RGB does not make any difference.

Those parts of the video image that does not have color effects are just fine. In these parts the color is preserved when reimporting to FCP. However, those parts having color effects (except Levels, as decribed earlier) have altered color results. So, only the parts having effects affecting color are misinterpreted in the image area. The mismatch is of course seen in AE, before making the movie.
What I ment with "Color Management not working properly" is that (instead of "disabling" it) Color Management does not seem to be able to correct this "misinterpretation" or difference in effect handling between AE 6 and 10.
So, would you have any solution for this problem?

How to Upgrade Previous versions of J2RE with Latest Version

I want to distribute latest version of j2re over network thru SMS or GPO in AD Env. my prob. is i am unable to upgrade (overswite) the previous version with the new version. is there any way to do so?
also the vulnerabilities reported in jre 1.4.2_05 & 06 which is resolved in jre 1.4.2_10 so if i have multiple installation in my system then is the system protected against vulnerability or not ? I beleive there can be more then one jre version on the system.

I have a G5 Power Mac with dual 1.8 processors. I recently upgraded the software fro 10.4.11 to 10.5.8 in order to get an iPad 2. Now my Adobe Photoshop 7 won't work any longer. All the newer Phtoshop versions only work with Intell processors. Does anyone

..know of an older Photoshop version that will work with my processors and system 10.5.8?

I believe I had this issue with PS7 when I first upgraded from OS 9 to OS X 10.2 Jaguar.
Couldn't get PS 7 to launch at all.
I ended up having to update all of my Adobe apps to the CS edition to be sure every Adobe app functioned without a hitch.
I am not sure where you'll find older versions of Adobe software, though.
You could try and contact Adobe direct to see if they have any older versions on disc left in stock or not.
Short or that I really do not know.
PS CS 4 was the last universal version that works with PPC Macs.
Pixelmator used to be available for 10.5 Leopard, but it's no longer available for PPC Macs, either.

You need to install X11 in order to use this app.
If you installed 10.5, you'll need to check your Applications folder to see if X11 was installed by default.
If not you'll need to go back to your OS X 10.5 install discs and do a custom install and just install X11 from disc.
This will just add the additional program and extensions and will not erase your installation of OS X 10.5.

I cannot override my previous version of Firefox with v4.0. When I try to drag it into applications, I get a message that there is a newer version already there (not true).

I have been following the download instructions. But I never get a prompt to place the file into the Applications folder. So I open the file, drag it to Applications, and get a message that I already have a newer file in Applications. However, this is not true. When I drag the file to the Firefox icon, I am told that can't be done because Firefox is already open.
I have done several other updates, never had this problem before. I have a MacBook.

How can I update previous versions of CS4 with custom brushes to new apps in CC

I am unclear form the threads how to be sure that any custom brushes, actions, etc get transferred to the new version. Is there a protocol for this?

Captivate 7 projects do not close automatically like previous versions did upon course completion

My users are used to their courses closing automatically when finished (launched from Inquisiq LMS). Since upgrading to Captivate 7, projects I published using CP7 show a white blank screen but do not close. The course results are saved just fine even after the user closes the window of the finished course manually but is there a way to close the window automatically? I know as I publish more courses I am going to get tech service requests from users who are not used to this behavior.
I tried setting the "On exit" action to exit to no avail.

Thanks for your response. No they do not close when played locally either. They just show a white slide and then you have to close the window manually.
I set the on exit in the next to last slide. I will try to set on the last slide. The last slide is just an empty slide. I could delete it. The strange thing is that this was a Captivate 6 course that I opened, made a minor revision (deleted one slide), and republished using captivate 7, now it won't close. Nothing else was changed.
Any further help is appreciated.

Versions (OSX Lion) - Only works with Pages?

This may seem like a "duh?" question but here goes: Does the "versions" feature in Lion only work w/Pages or will it also/can it be configured to work with OpenOffice or MS Word? Also, do you have to have Time Machine enabled for Versions to work?

Versions only works with native Mac applications like Pages, Numbers, TextEdit and maybe a few others. Do not expectit to work with 3rd party editors like TextMate, Dreamweaver, Coda, etc, at least not now. My Word 2008 is not supported.

8.2.1 save for previous version

I have a few problems with Labview 8.2.1 "Save for Previous Version" for use with a computer with Labview 8.0.
1-Labview 8.0 does not see the VI (created by 8.2.1 that was saved for previous version 8.0) as an 8.0 VI.
it complains:
"The VI, last saved with LabVIEW 8.0, has been converted to version 8.0. After a VI has been saved with LabVIEW 8.0 it can only be loaded by LabVIEW 8.0 or later. Use Save for Previous Version... to save VIs for older versions of LabVIEW."
2-I can't Reset the History to zero. The history resets only down to 1.
3-Save for Previous Version will not save only the one VI specified, it saves a bunch of VIs. I have to pick out only the changed VIs and place them with the unchanged 8.0 VIs. Is there a way to just save a single changed file as 8.0?
Are these problems that were fixed in later versions of Labview, such as 8.5.1, 8.6 etc?

Save Converted Document from Previous Version without Confirmation in CC2014?

Hi Everyone,
Is there a way to save a converted document from a previous version of InDesign with the same name WITHOUT the save confirmation dialog box? By a converted document, I mean that when you open a version from CS6 for example the document tab shows [Converted], and will automatically prompt with a Save Dialog when saving. I've parsed over all Preferences but may have possibly overlooked something.

There's a droplet and script panel version in the zip archive. It copies the chosen folder's ID files older than version 10 into an Archive subfolder then updates the files. Depending on the file size it can take some time—there's a done dialog when it completes. I would test it a few times to make sure it does what you expect.

How to download a specific previous version (10.3.1)?

One of our customers has been asked by the office of state revenue to run a specific version of Adobe reader for viewing documents on their site (10.3.1) but do not provide it.
10.4.1 (the latest at time of writing) does not work with their site. Is it possible to get a copy of 10.3.1 as the previous versions only has 9.5 and the FTP site only goes up to 10.1.4?

The FTP site ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/ does contain all previous Reader version, but so far Adobe does not make future versions (like 10.3.1 or 10.4.1) available.
The current Reader version is 10.1.4

Does anyone have a link or can you tell me where to get a previous version of itunes (preferrably in the 7.3 versions)for Vista. The only link I found was for different OS and said to go to Apple which of course doesn't offer the previous versions only the newest. I have had nothing but major pains since upgrading and I want to go back to a previous version. Can anyone help?

Read your quote and the question again. Your quoted section talks about what happens if you open a VI that has been saved in a previous version in the current version, i.e. open a lower version in a higher version.

Masscompiling takes an existing folder full of VIs and converts them to the current version, overwriting the old versions in the process.
Save for previous creates a new folder containing new copies of all relevant VIs downconverted to the target version.
