Previouse Version Problem
Dear Experts,
I have problem with "Previous Version"
In our office, our clients need to get file back from " Previous Version" but when they right click on a folder on file server , and hit previous version , we saw only the folder version started from 3-6-2015 to 3-7-2015 only
Could you let me know what happen to cause this problem? we need folder from 4-6-2015..

Hi,
When you enable Shadow Copies of Shared Folders on your file server, snapshots of the content of shared files and folders will be taken. These snapshots can then be accessed using the Previous Versions client.
By enabling Shadow Copies of Shared Folders, you also create a default schedule that will create shadow copies at 7:00 A.M. and noon, Monday through Friday. There will also be a limit set on the amount of space that can be used to store the shadow copies.
The default storage size is 10 percent of the source volume (the volume being copied). When the storage limit is reached, older versions of the shadow copies will be deleted and cannot be restored.
If there are no previous versions listed, the file has not changed since the oldest copy was taken.

Upgrade to Firefox 4.0 has caused nothing but problems. Unable to click links, access websites, etc. How can I downgrade to previous version?
Check that the Bookmarks Toolbar is visible and that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is still placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" or other items that are missing in the toolbar palette or on a toolbar then click the "Restore Default Set" button

Problems conncecting my 20" cinema display (Previous Version) to a PC
Problem description:
Originally, a 23" cinema display (Previous version as well) was connected to my PC via DVI to ADC adapter. This morning, I tried to connect the 20"(Previous Version) to the same PC, it wouldn't power itself up~~~ After turned the PC off, and switched back to the 23", I turned on the PC, everything worked just fine again. While everything was still up and running, I unconnected the 23", and hooked the 20" into the adapter, now the 20" started to work.
This is a really weird problem to have and PLEASE PLEASE help me with this. Thank you guys SO SO SO much!I'm using a FX5500 low profile PCI card installed in the docking station for my IBM T23.

The first few sessions Firefox seemed to be running great with improved speed. Yesterday, when I opened Firefox it could not open my homepage even though I checked for my internet connection ... my email service was working perfectly. I rebooted the computer and started Firefox and the homepage opened fine. I then visited an online newspaper site opened from my bookmarks. I was able to read one or two articles on different pages, but then when I selected another page in this site, Firefox was not able to access it (just keep trying to make a connection to the page). I restarted Firefox and went into an online banking site, again through a bookmark. Again after successfully accessing several different pages in the site Firefox was unable to connect to a requested page.
Later in the day I restarted Firefox, entered the banking site and successfully completed my transaction. Visited several other sites and had no problems, then again Firefox could not load a page.
This problem has continued today when looking at the online paper.
I would like either a fix to this problem, or to return to the previous version of Firefox.Google Toolbar Options, in the Search tab, make sure that '''Enable the Google new tab page''' is check-marked. You might want to consider getting rid of that '''desktopsmiley''' program that has messed up your UserAgent, it is known as Malware. -
When I click on a link to a pdf file (in an email message) using Windows Live Mail, Firefox 4.0.1 opens it as a shortcut and treats it as a pdf app. I can read the pdf file, but cannot save or print it. This is not the case if I use IE9. There never was a problem using the previous version of Firefox. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.

If you want to revert to the previous secure version, do the following.<br><br>
Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop.<br><br>

How can I return to a previous version that did not have problem? On Safari on my lap top Mac, I do not have this problem. We tried this on another Windows computer with a 3.5 or 3.6 Firefox version and there was no problem.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site. Note: this is likely to log you out, so finish up whatever you are working on first.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
Some sites appear to be incompatible with Firefox 5. The difficulty is tracking down the problem. To see whether it is caused by the new stricter HTML parser in Firefox 4+, you can turn that off. Please save any unfinished work first.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''html5''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''html5.parser.enable''' to toggle it to false (it should turn bold).
Then return to the problem page, reload and try again. Does that make any difference?
Here's the process to roll back if needed:

Close Firefox 5.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details. -
I usually use FF 3.6 version to download data from my company intranet. With old FF version I can access the intranet easily. But when I upgrade to the FF 4, I lost the ability to customize the variable data I want to collect. It kind of stuck. Usually when I right click I have option what to do. with the new version my option is none. nothing change. It's frustrating. So now, I go back to previous version. You said previous version is vulnerable to phishing or virus or something but still it user friendly for me to access my company data. Please fix that bug and I'll upgrade to the newest version.
I want to add my progress about this problem. I find this problem in IE 9, but it has compatibility view, though not too perfect but quite helpful. Whereas FF 4, from article in support, said it doesn't have one. So, I beg you FF team to accommodate us who still deal with old web design so we still can use this FF 4. Please..please..please. I still believe Firefox is the best browser and I hope FF team also responsive about current problem. I think I don't have any option, but to downgrade FF to 3.6 until someone tell me how to deal with this kind of problem. Thanks.

Firefox 4 is absolutely awful - it is causing massive problems with my computer. How do I uninstall Firefox 4 and go back to the previous version of Firefox?
According to the instructions given on the Norton Community forum under "Other Norton Products/Comcast-Customers - Norton Toolbar Problem in Firefox 10", I have done everything necessary. And I do have a Norton toolbar (Safe Web and Identity Safe) when I open Firefox 10. As was mentioned in the previous posts here, you need to run manual LiveUpdate then reboot until you have version 5.2.0.13. Then reboot and run manual LiveUpdate again and reboot once more. One thing that I noticed is that Norton never told me that it had updated the patch for Firefox 10, so I didn't know. I guess if you have the toolbar when you run Firefox 10, then you have done it all.

Hi - for any photo, info in mountain lion shows a different file size than Photoshop does. I've tested with both CS3 and CS6 on 10.8.2 and get the same problem. This doesn't happen with CS3 and OSX10.4 or any previous versions of Photoshop and OSX. Anyone know why?
this one is actually a really rare symptom of a flaky connection to the ipod on a Windows PC. there's more going on in terms of hardware on nanos and 5th gens than in the earlier models ... so if the connection is flaky to precisely the right/wrong degree, itunes will see the ipod, but misidentify it as an earlier version of ipod.
tracking down the cause of the flakiness can be tricky ... as you already know ...
just checking. have you tried connecting with a different (known-good) USB cable? does that seem to have any impact on the rate of occurence of the problem? -
Problem opening a converted project from previous version of Premiere CC, in Premiere CC 2014.
Hello. This is the problem. When I try to open with premiere pro CC 2014 a converted and actualized CC 2014 version of a project created previously in a previous version of premiere, the software crash.
Said in other words if it doesn't clear:
- I created a project in Premiere CC
- I actualized the project to Premiere CC 2014
- I worked in the project with the new Premiere CC 2014 for few days and suddenly, I cannot open the project and the software crash.
I hope you understand my problem. Sorry about my english. I'm not native english speaker.

SAFARI 6.1.3 update to Reader 11.0.07 … cannot open pdf files that are presently on my computer. Previous version had no problem. Any ideas? (Here is the message: Adobe Reader could not open 'Digital_Holiday_Cookbook.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

I just updated to iTunes 11. This version will not allow me to change info on any songs. Have always use "command i" with previous versions. Anyone else experiencing this problem? A solution?
Hey! I had the same problem you did just today when I was trying to get my second iPhone to sync. What you need to do with music or anything extra that you doing you have to creat a second playlist or picture or anything that you would like to use, so that you can add to the second device that you are going to be using. I am not sure if that will help but it helped me out a lot!! Good luck!

There is a problem with the arabic vowelization in the browser version 4.0 although we didn't face this problem with the previous versions ,so please fix it up quickly because it affects on our work
Do you have an Arabic version of Firefox installed which isn't displaying the vowelization correctly, or are you trying to read it using an English language version?
