Previously reserved stock can still be issued to a different order

why is it that stock that is reserved for a particular order, can be issued (261) through MIGO for a different order? shouldnt be there reservations for that?

Hi,
Only standard availbale option is control of Material availability check during Production / Process Order creation or release.
You have to tick INCLUDE RESERVATION in T.code OPJJ.
Select your checking Group which you have assgin to your Order type in OPJK .
This will restrict the Order release or creation in case of Material shortage.

sorry i visits forum after long time .. item category means , when create item group there are two option Service / Material if u select service , inventory come under that group only in "Back flush" other wise u can select "Manual / Back flush"

Suddenly can't drag songs to a different order in playlists. Help?

I used to click and drag songs in my Itunes playlists to burn CD's in a specific order. All of a sudden I cannot move the songs. Click and drag isn't working. I have had Itunes for about 7-8 years and this is the first problem I've had. Any help?

Apple very, very rarely shares what they are working on so there is no way of knowing if Apple is working on this issue. I highly doubt any Apple employees who may be working on it would risk their job by talking about it

How can I reserve stock for a specific sales order?

We would like to reserve stock for a specific sales order X which must be delivered next month. I have created a reservation (trx. MB21) for sales order X (movement type 231). MD04 list shows the reservation and decreases ATP stock. Stock is blocked for allocation to other sales orders. So far, it works as required. But: I cannot deliver sales order X either! It is possible to post GI for the reservation but there is no link to sales order X. It is still not possible to deliver sales order X. I thought entering the sales order number in the reservation would link the reservation to the sales order but appearently it is not.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use reservations for reserving stock for sales orders? If yes, how does it work?
If not, is there a way to reserve stock for future issue of a specific sales order or for a specific customer?

PS We confirm all sales orders. Stock allocation / ATP-check only takes place at delivery creation.

Thanks for your reply. We are not going to work in MTO environment because we do not make/purchase to order... I will explain our process/requirement in detail:
Normaly a customer orders our products and we deliver from stock. Sometimes a customer calls and informs us that he needs an extraordinary large amount of the product next month. Customer tells us that it is very important that the full quantity is available that date. For us it is no problem to purchase that amount of products in time but we must avoid other customers to take away the stock. Since we confirm all sales orders and do not allocate stock to sales orders, I am looking for a solution to 'reserve' that amount of stock for that specific customer to be available at that specific date (next month).
I tried to use reservations but then I need a sales order number, so that's why I created a sales order with delivery date next month. I created a reservation (movement type 231, sales order number X + sales order item number). Unfortunately the stock can still be assigned to other customers/sales orders... (I was expecting that only sales order X could use this reserved stock...).
Do you know if reservations can be used for this purpose? I do not need a sales order (I only created it because I need to enter a sales order + item in the reservation), if there is a way to reserve quantity for a specific customer this would be a good solution for us as well.

Restrict Goods Issue for Reserved Stock

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to restrict goods issue of stock qty which is reserved.
For that i have created checking rule and assigned to MIGO_GI because we need to consider only reservation .
Now when i create manual reservation system gives msg as per config.
e.g current unristricted stock is 100 qty
manual reservation created for 10 qty
System gives msg if i issue material more than 90 qty. It is working properly
Now pb is system is not considering reservation created by process order confimation.
I already assing checking rule with Checking grp for availability check and also set properties.
in include dependant reservation i set - x - Include all reservations.
I need to restrict goods issue for reserved stock for reservation created by process order.

Hi Janak,
When a reservation is created automatically or manual, it will depicts the requirement of the material for the specific department/process. BUt it doesnot restrict or label the material as reserved. This is because the acutal requirement/consumption may vary from the reserved quantity. Also the stock still remains in the un-restricted stock and hence its open to be issued.
Now if you want restrict the stock for automatic reservation, then you can make an enhancement wherein the stock is moved to required stock type. But this will block the stock for the order even if it is not required.

Reserve stock against one particular sales order and issue the same

My client wants that he should he able to reservestock for a particular sales order only, so that during availability check, the stock is not issued against any other sales order.
I have tried to do stock reservation by using t-code MB21, then the stock gets transferred from Unrestricted stock to restricted stock.
When i Do the PGI, it is still reducing the unrestricted stock and the reserved stock is unaltered.
My client is not a manufacturing unit, they are basically into only trading of goods.
Can some one please suggest what steps can i do?
Also if tehre is any alternative to accomplish the same?

see when ur changing the stock from restricted use to unrestricted use then
its fine but as u mentioned while doing particular moment type you want the stock to get reduced from restricted use but not from unrestricted use
for this u need to change the moment type from 651 to some thing else because the moment type 651 will reduce the stock from restricted use and allocate to the customer
so maintain a diff moment type for ur particular order type ( means this particular order type has an itme cat which detrmines a schedule line cat in thth schedule line cat maintain a diff omnt type instead of 601)

After upgrade to 10.10, can't send email (SMTP cert. error). On previous version running on another machine, can still send find. This new version is missing the "Usual Ports" checkbox option. Can someone please help?

I just upgraded to 10.10. On the mail program, one of my accounts is having an issue sending email. I am getting the following error message:
The certificate for this server is invalid.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.
But on another machine running Mavericks, I can still continue to send email. The same is try from my iPhone 5S.
On that machine running Mavericks the SMTP is configured as SSL and for "Usual Ports" (25, 465, 587) but THIS OPTION IS MISSING ON THE NEW VERSION. On the new version I have tried configuring the port to 25 and then 465 and 587 with no success. I have used the Network Utility to see if my provider is blocking me -- it is not. I have no third-party software on this machine (anti virus). I can receive email fine. On the new Yosemitie Mail there are new checkbox options of Automatically check my settings and Allow unsecure connections. I tried to uncheck SSL for SMTP but then it says it cannot send securely my passowrd and i need to check the option "Allow to send unsecurely". I did that but the same error message keeps appearing. So I have tried nearly everything I have been able to, all to no avail. Please can somebody help?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is a POP account. Incoming mail is fine. My port for incoming is also 110. But the outgoing port should be 587 (or 24, 465 and 587 as on Mavericks' "Usual Ports" option). I am using the same configuration across three different devices and only the machine running Yosemite is having issues. I notice in the new version of Mail there is no longer the "Usual Ports" option. I am not sure this is the culprit or not. But the fact is no matter how I configure it, it will not send mail for these particular servers. I have multiple clients and only one is affected, meaning I can send email from other email addresses (different hosting contracts) on Yosemite but on this one particular one I cannot.

I just installed the latest Apple TV software update today. I can still play music from my iPhone 4 to th eATV but purchased movies don't seem to start playing now - or else the buffering time is huge compared with the previous software version. Any fix

I installed the latest software update on our Apple TV - this allows us to access VIMEO. However, although we can still play music from an iPhone 4 we can no longer play purchased tv shows - unless the buffering process has been extended to be glacially slow! It just shows it is loading but under the previous software release a show would start in a minute or two, nothing is happening afer 4 or 5 minutes with this one.

The startup disk may need repairing ...
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If the disk needs repairing, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you can access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk.

Try calling Tech Support, they should be able to check to see if theres a lock and try to help you reset it, I had to call and get my account unflagged, for something that I didn't even do.

I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots.

How to reserve stock for a cost center & don't allow issue to another cost centre?
Stock is reserved by creating reservation by MB21 for one cost centre e.g.CC1.
We want to restrict this stock for the same cost center CC1 only.
But when tried to issue stock to another cost center CC2, system allowed to post goods issue document.
System should not allow for goods issue of this stock to another cost center other than CC1.
How to make it.......please suggest.

Problems with PIR reserving stock

Hi
We are having a problem with planned indpendent requirements reserving stock. When we place a sales order, we get no availability even though we have stock in the plant. But when we remove the planned independent requirements (VSF) for that particular combination of material and plant, we get availability for the sales order. We are using standard planning strategy 40 for the material.
Does anyone know what is causing the planned indpendent requirements reserving stock? What settings affects this scenario? Is there any way to not make the PIRs reserving stock?

But how can this be the logic? Let us say I have 500 in stock and PIR of 200...then sales order is 300, overconsuming the forecast. Even next montht the PIR is 500 so the consumption period settings should not be a problem...
Why does it alter an error message if the sales orders are greater than PIR? I mean, after all we have the materials in stock as unrestricted?

Bit more explanation on the above :
let us take the below figures as example
stock : 500
PIRs : 200 ( Say In Nov/2010)
PIRs : 200 ( Say In Dec/2010)
PIRs : 100 ( say In Jan/2011)
If you receive a sales Order 300 ( Say in NOV/2010),
then this sales Order will consume PIRs present in NOV/2010, But still it needs 100 more PIRs)
But you have PIRs in Dec/2010,
in Order to consume those PIRs, which are in Dec/2010, your Forward consumption period should be sufficient.
Otherwise, you will face the same issue as you are facing as of now.
Let us ge,t some more experts comments on this.
