Price adjustment manually in FI module

Hello Friends.
Please guid me where we adjust the material prices in FI module and under what circumstances, and will there be any impact on MM module with this adjustment.
Please reply to me as early as possible.
With regards
KRISHNA

Hi Krishna,
We have two scenarios for price change
1. Materials maintained at standard Price
Price different will go to different GL account which in maintained in OBYC under PRD key.
Example: You made a purchased order for 10 pens which is maintained at standard price of Rs 12 each
At the time of MIGO you received the stock @ 15 each
Then system will post the 3 Rs diffrecence to GL account which is maintained in OBYC under PRD Key.
2. Materials Maintained at moving average price
Difference will add to inventory.
Example: You made a purchased order for 10 pens which is maintained at Moving Average price of Rs 12 each
At the time of MIGO you received the stock @ 15 each
Then system will post the 3 Rs diffrecence to Inventrory account

  • Using RB00 condition type for Price Adjustment

    Hi,
I have to do a price adjustment due to some rounding issues in the pricing of my sales order.(Using standard Pricing Procedure RVAA01). I am thinking of using manual condition type RB00 at Item level that can accept both positive and negative values depending on the situation.
If the calculated value>expected value then the user will enter negative RB00 value manually and
if the calculated value<expected value then the user will enter positive RB00 value manually.
The account key is however different in standard Pricing procedure for RB00 and it is ERS and for standard Base Price (PR00) it is ERL.
So, my question is that does that make any difference if I maintain condition records in VKOA for RB00 same as PR00?

    Hi
If you are looking for rounding then you round the decimals by not maintaining any decimals. But if it is a price adjustment then your approach is correct
If it is VK11 then there is no need to maintain condition record for RB00 as it is a manual condition type at item level
If you are talking to maintain revenue account determination VKOA then you have to maintain as whenever you give discount then it will hit some G/L account .So you should assign a G/L account also

    Hi,
The function you are using is not suitable, it is not intended to be used stand-alone without further code to complete the order close process.
The best option would be to use BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to perform technical completion (Method TECHNICALCOMPLETE). Transaction CO99 could then be used to mass close these orders.

  • Activity prices maintained manually..Is KSII/MFN1 possible?

    Hi Experts,
    We have this scenario:
    1. Activity prices are entered manually in KP26.
    2. All Costs are maintained as Activity independent costs.
    3. For Production Cost centers, some costs (primary costs) are Activity relevant and others not relevant at all for Activity.
    4. No Splitting structure maintained so far.
Now, we are considering calculating Actual Activity prices through KSII and then MFN1 for revaluating Process orders.
I tried KSII in our test system, where I got the following error message # KP211. I even tried by maintaining the Actual Activity type category '01' and Actual price indicator '05' in AT master, but no luck.
    Short Text
All activity prices are manually entered
    Diagnosis
All activity prices in controlling area , fiscal year , and version were determined and set as manually entered prices.
In actual price calculation, all plan activity prices, meaning those calculated automatically (activity price indicator 1 and 2) and those set manually (activity price indicator 3), are treated as if they have been set manually.
    System Response
The SAP System cannot calculate activity prices automatically.
    Processing is cancelled.
    Procedure
Check your activity type planning. To calculate the activity price automatically, you must set the activity price indicator accordingly.
    Proceed
    Questions:
1.Given our case, is it possible to do KSII/MFN1? If yes, what configuration and master setup is required?
    2. What accounting/CO entry posted MFN1. Especially, want to know if value also posted to CO-PA?
    Thanks much for your time.
    SC

    Hi SC,<br>
    <br>
    sorry for my delay.<br>
    <br>
Yes, you can process KSII even if you maintained planned activity prices manually. For this, the Activity type master should be activity price indicator "5" for Actual, hoever it's defalt value for planning (KP26).<br>
Could you check activity planning value in your period as follows;<br>
    <br>
    1. Go to transaction KP26<br>
    2. Selection screen;<br>
Set  your version and year/period and also cost center/activity types in problem.<br>
Push Next Layout button (Ctrl + F8) and set layout 1-204 (named "Control indicators").<br>
    3. Push "Overview screen" (F5)<br>
    <br>
You can see plan price indicator and also ACTUAL price indicator, so you have to check if actual price indicator is not "7" or "Blank". If not, please set it with value "5" or "6".<br>
Hope you can understand what I wrote above, but if you have any queries, please feel free to ask me.<br>
    <br><br>
Additonaly about your question regarding "activity independent" cost planning<br><br>
In F1 help document for field "Equivalence Numbers", there're useful description how activity-independent costs allocates activity type and activity prices calculates. If you do not use cost split or activity-depend planning, you can process activity price calculation by "Equivalence Numbers". it's easy-way to allocate cost to each activity type. you can see this field also in KP26 with layout 1-201 (sample)<br><br>
the following passage from field "Equivalence Numbers" F1 document.<br>
    <br><br>
    - Equivalence Numbers<br>
Weighting factor for distribution of activity-independent plan costs of a cost center onto the available activity types.<br><br>
    - Use<br>
This field group serves to weight the activity types created in a cost center. After weighting, the activity-independent plan costs of a cost center are distributed onto the available activity types.<br><br>
    -Procedure<br>
If you want to change or create equivalence numbers in planning, this field must be defined in the planning layout. If this field is not defined, any existing equivalence numbers will be displayed, but they cannot be changed.<br><br>
    Examples<br>
You have planned the following activity types for cost center 4420:<br>
Activ. type    Plan quantity   Equiv. nr.<br>
    <br>
      FST            400 hrs            3<br>
      REP              50  hrs            1<br>
      RST              20  hrs            1<br>
    <br>
                                Total:    5<br><br>
This cost center has planned activity-independent costs worth $20,000 . These costs are distributed according to activity price calculation onto the iteratively calculated activity prices (cost rates) of the activity types:<br>
ATyp       Fixed costs           Fixed portion of activ. price<br>
    <br>
    FST    20,000 X 3/5 = 12,000     $12,000 / 400 hrs =   30 $/hr<br>
    REP    20,000 X 1/5 =  4,000      $4,000 /  50 hrs =   80 $/hr<br>
    RST    20,000 X 1/5 =  4,000      $4,000 /  20 hrs =  200 $/hr<br><br>

  • All activity prices are manually entered (Message no. KP211  )

    Dear All,
I have maintained Activity Rates through KP26. On Activity Master I have set Act. price indicator = 5.
Now when i am executing KSII it is giving me error message as :
All activity prices are manually entered
    Message no. KP211
    Diagnosis
All activity prices in controlling area FLGP, fiscal year 2011, and version 0 were determined and set as manually entered prices.
    Proceed
Please let me know if I need to done any additional settings.
    Br, Vivek Srivastava

    Hi Vivek,
"The error message KP211 is display by the system due
to the SAP System cannot calculate activity prices automatically.
(can you review the settings in the system).
The procedure that you have to follow is to review transaction code
    KP26 and your activity types.
From viewpoint of actual price iteration all plan prices are political
in the sense that 'prices does not change during actual price
iteration'.  If all activity types have indicator 1 then everything
will be evaluated with plan price in actual.  So actual price iteration
has nothing to compute because no price will be changed.  You have to
set price indicator to 5 or 6 in actual price indicator for at least
one activity type in order to calculate the actual activity price.
When you change some activity type master data in transaction KL02,
these changes take effect in all relevant tables, BUT please notice
that the values of TARKZ, TARKZ_I etc. are only DEFAULT values for
activity planning and therefore ONLY READ ONCE when the relevant
planning set is created. Subsequent changes to the master data (default
value) take not effect in the planning sets. You have to change the
values in every single planning set manually."
You indicates that for the activity types you have set in the master data
actual price indicator to 5 (Actual price, automatically based on
on activity). But this is only a default value and can be overwritten
    for example during planning.
Please see table COKL for cost center / activity type if have an empty field for
the actual price indicator. Thus the system only finds the plan price
indicators during price calculation and message KP 211 is justified if
you consider the following part of the long text:
In actual price calculation, all plan activity prices, meaning those
calculated automatically (activity price indicator 1 and 2) and
those set manually (activity price indicator 3), are treated as if they
    have been set manually.
In order to run KSII as expected by you, you have to execute trans.
KP26 for the cost center and activity type  using layout 1-204
    (Activity Types: Indicators).
Here you can set the actual price indicator to 5.
Afterwards there should be no further problem with KSII.
    I hope helps,
    Regards,

  • How to do Price Adjustment for PO issued?

    Dear experts,
My user has already issued one PO with the unit price of $770 and also issued the GRPO under the price of $770. After that, the vendor said the actual unit price is $1000. How to do the price adjustment for the wrong unit price issued in the PO?
    Kindly share with me. Thanks.
    Regards,
    Xavier

    hi xavier,
    GRPO - Goods Return
    A/P Invoice - Credit Memo
previously you didn't mention A/P Invoice was already made. if A/P invoice is already made you need A/P Credit Memo to reverse it.
now, since adjustment is already done, is $230 is added to the same A/P Invoice and added to cost (qty * $230) that was base to GRPO? if yes, then your item cost is already corrected in A/P Invoice and also your Payable to your Vendor.
However if the adjustment is done, in other document like JE adjustment then you need to Credit Memo, then GRPO (Not base on PO) with $1000 price then A/P Invoice base on GRPO.
    regards,
    Fidel

  • What is wrong with your customer service?!?! It's becoming impossible to get a price adjustment!!!

I have been trying everything to get a price adjustment on an iPad mini 3 64 gig that I purchased for 499.99 and is now 424.99. I have made 3 phone calls to no success and have spent a total of over an hour on hold to try to get this done. I need someone here from Best Buy unboxed to take care of this.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Aldiggi,
The purchase of a brand-new tablet is by no means a small investment, so wanting to receive the best deal available is certainly understandable.
I've had the chance to review your account and it looks like a member of our post-purchase support team was able to assist you on the 4th, shortly after you posted an update. You should have received a message confirming the price adjustment, so I'd encourage you to check your inbox and junk mail folders for that e-mail if you haven't already done so. Please also keep in mind that the funds may not post to your card right away -- the exact timeframe required is determined by the card issuer.
Thanks for your patience, as well as for ordering with us! I hope you're enjoying the new iPad Mini so far.

  • Unable to price adjust games for buy 2 get 1 free?

Would I be able to get a price adjustment for the B2G1 free for my preorders of AC Unity, Far Cry 4, and GTA 5? I called 1800-BestBuy and was put on hold by a rep for 45 minutes only to be told that I wasn't eligible because I received preorder DLC. After being told that I was hung up on. I'm elite plus and still in the 45 day window.
I've price adjusted multiple games before where I have received DLC so I don't really understand that. Can someone please clarify? Should I just go to the store to fix this?

    Hello Onionflamer07,
Thank you for writing in, and thank you for being a My Best Buy member.  I'll be happy to discuss this offer with you today.
I'm sorry we were not able to get to your question last week.  Our Buy 2 Get 1 Free offer was not eligible on prior purchases.  All titles would have needed to be on one order or purchase receipt to be eligible.  Digital content would not have been a factor.
I apologize for any disappointment this experience may have caused you when you were calling in.  Please visit our forum any time with questions.

  • Price Adjustment on Order Denied / Unfair Business Practice

I was just notified that I was denied a price adjustment on my order for the Ecobee3 Wireless Thermostat. I had purchased it for 206.99 and a few hours later the price went down to 179.99 which is $27 lower than the price I had bought it for. I was told that the reason for the denial in the price adjustment was because I used a 10% off mover's coupon on my initial order.
If the item was delivered in time, I could have returned the item and re-purchased it with my wife's 10% mover's coupon. It makes no sense that I would have to go through the hassle of doing this instead of having a price adjustment.
Now I see the item is out of stock at my local store and online and I can't even do the return and re-purchase at $157 ($180 less $18 coupon less $5 reward card) due the price not showing in the local BestBuy system.
This definitely seems like a shady business practice. All other major online retailers (Target, Staples, Amazon) would have adjusted the base price of my order and I would have been credited the $24 without a hassle.
Please tell me how I can escalate this issue as I feel mistreated as a loyal BestBuy customer. My order number is {removed per forum guidelines}.

  • Battlefield Hardline Sale Price Adjustment?

I have seen this question floating around on the discussion boards, but I didn't find anywhere as to how long the period is for the price adjustment. I purchased Battlefield Harline Deluxe Edition for $69.99 on release day (3/17/15) and was wondering from the purchase date how long until I can no longer receive the price adjustment? I thought in the past it was 14 days (which I am passed  ) but was hoping to see if I am correct or if it is possibly longer?  Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

    Hello mystermathers,
Happy Friday, and thanks for joining our forum!  We're always happy to answer questions.
Our Price Match Guarantee is in effect for the duration of your return and exchange period, so you would have had 15 days to call and request a price adjustment if purchased online or visited your local store with your receipt and ID if purchased in-store.
Additional information and a FAQ can be found at the link I provided above, but definitely let us know if you have any other questions on this or other topics.

Price adjustments do not alter unit list price, they will only affect unit selling price. Unit list price is what comes from the price list.
