Price Base Quantity and PBQ UOM on Detailed VIEW of item

Dear MDM Experts,
we use MDM Catalog 2.0 SP1. How can be appeared Price Base Quantity and Price Base Quantity UOM on Item Details screen and on Compare screen?
If I set in Configuration UI on General tab - Item Display Criteria: Show Price Base Quantity to YES, I see no change.

  • SRM and SRM-MDM: Error when ordering less than Price Base Quantity

    Hi!
    We face the following issue:
    We have an item without material master in the MDM-catalog. The price is scaled, and 5.00 EUR up to 100 items, and 4.80 EUR for more than 100 items
    If we order 90 items, the price is calculated to 5.00 EUR in MDM, BUT the price is displayed as 0.00 EUR per 100 items when transferred to SRM. The price is also 0.00 when transferring to SAP ERP backend.
    If we order 100 items or more, the price is calculated correctly in MDM, and also transferred correctly to SRM and ERP. This also applies if we order e.g.  110 items - everyting looks correct (price for 110 is 5.28 EUR).
    AND: in both cases, we can observe the price is correct in the OCI !
    So, something happens in SRM if we order less than the Price Base Quantoty
    SRM5.0, SRM-MDM 2.0
    Since the price is correct in the OCI we would suspect the error to be somewhere in SRM? Any ideas?

    Hello Ziggy,
    Could you please check OSS notes 1311046 and 1296024.
    We found OSS note 1339905 and in the correction instructions were quite a few notes relating to a '0' price issue.
    Obviously I don't know on which support pack level you're on.
    Good luck,

  • Difference between "base quantity" and "operation quantity" in an operation

    Hello
    what is the difference between "base quantity" and "operation quantity" in a production order ?
    thank you for your answers

    Base Quantity - Quantity of the material to be produced to which the standard values of the operation refer.
    Operation Quantity - Quantity planned for this operation.
    Base quantity and operation quantity may not always be the same, if we have partial lots delivered during the sequence of operations, the operation quantity will be equal to the lot delivered during the operation.
    Base quantity is dependent on the BOM, where it signifies the total quantity of output after using the components of certain quantity.
    Hope this may help you.

  • Limited-access user permission lockdown mode and allowing anon users to view list items

    I'm working on setting up a public-facing SharePoint website that will need to support anonymous user access. I'm using the Enterprise Publishing Portal site collection template, so the Limited-access user permission lockdown mode feature is turned on.
    Everything is working great, except allowing users to view a list item. One of the key features I was hoping to leverage was the ability to display custom lists on a web page using a List View web part. Then they could click on an item and see the DispForm.aspx
    so the item's content was accessible, including any file attachments.
    A real-world example is adding an RSS viewer web part to the home page and allowing anon users to click on one of the events to see the details of it. Currently, in lockdown mode, the users gets an authentication prompt.
    I toyed with the idea of turning the lockdown feature off. However, I'm uncertain of the full impact that would have on security. For example, I know it will allow anonymous users to see who created and modified an item, which we don't want exposed to the
    public (i.e. our employee names). Seems like opening a can of worms by disabling the lockdown mode...
    Any ideas on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated.

    So far, this is the most promising solution I've come across:

  • Image instead of List Name, and hyperlink the image to view 'All Items.aspx' page

    Hi,
    I would like remove the Page title for list (i.e., name of the list in view all items.aspx page) , and instead use image and hyperlink the image

    Using developer tool found the element (#PageTitle) and added 'Script Editor' webpart and below css script to it. I am successful in replace the

    Regards,
    Sunitha

    Hi Sunitha,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the list title to an image.
    I recommend to add the code below to the list page:
    <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function (){
    var s = "<img alt='SP' src='http://w2k81368:2116/SiteAssets/Test.jpg'>";
    var $t = $("#DeltaPlaceHolderPageTitleInTitleArea span span a");
    $t.html(s);
    </script>
    After that, the list title will change to the image and it will show allitems.aspx page when clicking the image.
    Thanks,

  • BOM quantity and Base quantity

    Hi,
    I have the follwoing scenario in BOM.
    I have a plate size of 700 (OD) x 500(ID) x 60 (Thickness).
    I'll cut this plate in to following different items (Different material code) and qty
    A - 28
    B - 3
    C - 1
    D - 1
    E-  2
    How can I define in BOM in terms of Base quantity and Item Quantiy
    Kindly guide me .
    Regards
    Chandru

    Dear Rajesha,
    There is no relationship between A -28 and Size of the raw material.
    X- is plate size having the dimensions  OD x ID x Thickness - Raw material.
    From this raw material, I'm producing the following material
    A - 28 Nos
    B- 3 Nos
    C -1 No
    D -1 No
    E -2 Nos.
    All the 5 materials are called under one assembly. Raw material is same to produce five diff. items .
    Now how can I enter in BOM item and raw material details. Moreover this quantity classiffication will varies everytime.
    How I'll order the quantity  proportion after MRP to procure the raw material.
    Please clarify.

  • Inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CHAR, Detail view bind variables

    Hi.
    Here is my problem:
    I have master detail views connected with a view link. Both of views have bind variables that hold some session info:
    It's a menu on database and I am trying to hide some values based on user permissions.
    When running application module, everything works fine. The problem occurs when I try to show menu as a tree table, or any other table, on a page.
    The root view executes fine, but then I get an
    "java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CHAR"
    error in executeQueryForCollection method of detail view. (this method is overridden)
    Bind Variables are:
    - :menuRoot -> which holds value of Root node. (In detail view it's just a dummy variable. It is explaned later on why i used it.)
    - :listOfUserPermmission -> array of user permissions.
    My query looks like this:
    1.Master View:
    SELECT MetVMenu.CHILD_ID,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_IME_MODULA,
           MetVMenu.PARENT_ID,
           MetVMenu.PARENT_IME_MODULA,
           MetVMenu.ZST,
           MetVMenu.NIVO,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_NAZIV_V_MENIJU,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_TIP_MODULA,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_OPIS_MODULA
    FROM MET_V_MENU MetVMenu
    WHERE MetVMenu.PARENT_IME_MODULA like :menuRoot
    and MetVMenu.CHILD_IME_MODULA in (SELECT * FROM TABLE(CAST(:listOfUserPermission AS STRARRAY)))CHILD_IME_MODULA and PARENT_IME_MODULA are also names of permissions.
    2.View Link that connects master.CHILD_ID and detail PARENT_ID
    3.Detail view, that then links to itself... to get the tree menu.
    SELECT MetVMenu.CHILD_ID,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_IME_MODULA,
           MetVMenu.PARENT_ID,
           MetVMenu.PARENT_IME_MODULA,
           MetVMenu.ZST,
           MetVMenu.NIVO,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_NAZIV_V_MENIJU,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_TIP_MODULA,
           MetVMenu.CHILD_OPIS_MODULA
    FROM MET_V_MENU MetVMenu
    WHERE :menuRoot like 'a'
    and
    MetVMenu.CHILD_IME_MODULA in (SELECT * FROM TABLE(CAST(:listOfUserPermission AS STRARRAY)))4. ViewLink that connects CHILD_ID and PARENT_ID of this "detail" view.
    Both views executeQuery methods are overridden to set Bind variables before execution.
    I get an arrayList of strings (permissions) from session and then convert it to Array.
         ArrayList permmissionsArray = (ArrayList)MyUserSession.getSessionValue("permissions");
         Array permissions = new Array(permissionsArray.toArray());
            HashMap context = new HashMap();
            context.put(DomainContext.ELEMENT_SQL_NAME, "STRARRAY");
            context.put(DomainContext.ELEMENT_TYPE, String.class);
            if(permissions != null){
                permissions.setContext(null, null, context);
                setlistOfUserPermission(permissions);
         //Here I set menuRoot variable.
         I also noticed that there are problems with how I define bind variables (the order matters).
    So when i didn't use menuRoot variable in detail view I got the
    “inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CHAR"
    error in application module.

    I went through those links, and I am sure the user has enough rights on STRARRAY object.
    I noticed that when running application module things work fine if I firstly execute RootView - Master view.
    and then double click on VL which shows detail view in table.
    The error occurs if I click on ViewLink first. I am not sure if I am even "allowed" to do that.
    I set the parameters with "setNamedWhereClauseParam" and print them out before i call super.executeQueryForCollection() and this the output i get:
    ExecuteQueryForCollectionRoot
    Permission: [AdfIn2Ogrodje.ROOT, AdfIn2Ogrodje.ADMINISTRACIJA, HOME]

            System.out.println("ExecuteQueryForCollectionRoot");
            setParametersForSessionTest(); // method where i set the parameters.
            printExecute(); // printing
            super.executeQueryForCollection(object, object2, i);
        }After a few clicks on OK button the query executes normally.
    What I am guessing is, that executeQueryForCollection just takes whatever is in object2 and that's null at the beginning.
    I tried to use this method, which sets the bind variables in object2. And it gives me "Invalid column type" error.

  • Adding Border to Photos in Detail View

    Is it possible to add a simple border to the photos in the detail view? I've tried adding borders to the photos in the grid view using the inspector and the floating/popup window but the borders only show up in the grid view and not in the detail view. If anyone knows how to add a simple colored border to the photos in the detail view I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    Hi, I'm not sure if this will help or solve the problem, but you could take a look at the link attached for OnOne Photoframe, it's free, so it may be worth checking out. My version works as a plug-in for Aperture, not sure about this one.

  • No TITLEs displayed in Detail view in Windows Explorer

    The following pertains to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit vs. Windows XP Professional 32-bit.
    In Windows Explorer, when viewing the file list in 'detail' view, you can also add the 'title' attribute for display by right-clicking the attribute bar above the file list.  However, in Windows 7, no titles are displayed for PDF files that have this
    information which were displayed under WinXP.  Also, if the file properties are displayed, the PDF tab is gone.
    I cannot find any info on how to re-enable this feature.  If XP-style PDF title attributes have been removed or disabled in Windows 7 Explorer, it is a MAJOR omission for our corporation.  We have a massive collection of corporate
    and 3rd party PDF documents where interdocument links will not work if the filename is changed.  The TITLE attribute in detail view is used to display the document title, not the filename.  If any other view is used, e.g. icon view, the bubble
    popup displays the title in WinXP, but this again doesn't work in Win7.  Without the title attribute working as it does in XP, we may have to forego moving from XP to Windows 7 on our desktops (we're skipping Vista, of course), and find an alternate
    desktop OS (Linux?) that still supports this feature.
    For example, every IBM software/hardware PDF manual has a cryptic filename which does not reflect anything about the title of the manual.  These filenames support inter-manual links, so renaming the PDF manuals to reflect the title is absolutely
    not an option.  However, the PDF attributes of the file do contain the title, and these were visible under both Properties (the PDF tab), and the TITLE column in Detail view under WinXP.  However, both of these features are gone in Windows 7,
    and to say it's a PITA is a gross understatement.
    We want (need) this feature back in Windows 7.  I'd call it a show-stopper in moving to Windows 7 if this isn't fixed, and soon!
    Btw, Microsoft, we have over 45,000 desktops currently running WinXP, plus 100's of Win2003/Win2008 servers in our corp.  Are you listening?

    Here's what seems to be going on.
    As part of the Adobe Reader download, Adobe provides a shell extension called pdfshell.dll.  On 32-bit Windows XP, you'll find it in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX folder.  On 64-bit Windows 7, you'll find it in the C:\Program
    Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX folder.  But, on either system, it's a 32-bit shell extension.  On 64-bit Windows 7, Windows Explorer will only run as a 64-bit program.  According to numerous web forum posters, this was a change
    between the last "beta" and the "RC" version of 64-bit Windows 7.  There is a 32-bit version of Windows Explorer in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder, but if you try to run it you get another instance of 64-bit Explorer.  The (first)
    problem is that 64-bit Windows Explorer won't load a 32-bit shell extension.
    You can see the 32-bit pdfshell.dll "working" on 64-bit Windows 7 in the File Open dialog of any 32-bit application (such as Adobe Reader).  To see this, first open an Explorer window and navigate to a folder that has some PDF files like your
    IBM manual.  Right click on the file and choose Properties.  Look at the tabs in the dialog and note that there is no PDF tab.  Now, OK out of the Properties dialog and double-click on the same file to open it in Adobe Reader.  Now press
    Ctrl-O or choose File Open to get the File Open dialog.  Navigate to the same folder, right click on the same file and choose Properties.  Look at the tabs and see that you now have the PDF tab that was missing in Explorer.  In that tab, you
    can see the Title that pdfshell.dll has pulled from the file.  This works because 32-bit Adobe Reader has loaded a 32-bit common file dialog which *will* load a 32-bit shell extension.
    But you're not out of the woods yet.  The common file dialog has many of the features of Explorer, and you can select Details view and right-click on the column headers to choose to show a Title column.  This will show Titles for several document
    types, but not for PDF files.  This isn't a 64-bit versus 32-bit issues, it's a Windows XP versus Vista and later issue.  What Adobe implemented in pdfshell.dll is an ActiveX interface called IColumnProvider, and Microsoft dropped support for this
    interface in Windows Vista (replacing it with something called the Property System).  You can glance at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb776831%28VS.85%29.aspx and just read the first line after the page header:  "[This feature is supported
    only under Windows XP or earlier. ]".  So, the PDF Title column feature didn't go away with 64-bit Windows 7, it went away with 32-bit Windows Vista.
    The best solution to this problem would be for Adobe to update pdfshell.dll to provide the Property System interface that Vista and Windows 7 require.  See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb776859%28v=VS.85%29.aspx if you care for the details.
    Then Adobe should release 32-bit and 64-bit versions of pdfshell.dll implementing the new interface, and we'd get both the PDF tab and Explorer columns like Title for PDF files in 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 (and Vista).
    Alternatively, some enterprising developer could presumably write a shim that would present the Property System interface on its upper side (callable by Explorer) and the IColumnProvider interface on its lower side (capable of calling existing versions of
    pdfshell.dll).  It would need to deal with interfacing between 64-bit Explorer and a 32-bit pdfshell.dll ... I assume that this is possible somehow, but I don't know.
    A kludge that might be (barely?) usable would be to use Windows XP Mode to run a 32-bit Windows XP Explorer and use that to navigate using the PDF Titles and possibly launch them.  Perhaps you could come up with a way to make Windows XP Mode's Explorer
    launch Adobe Reader in the host 64-bit Windows 7 OS.
    A third-party solution might be xplorer^2 (http://www.zabkat.com/index.htm) which claims to support the interface that Microsoft dropped in Vista (http://www.zabkat.com/blog/07Feb10-column-handlers-revived.htm).  I know nothing about this program, I
    just found it while Googling for "column handler".  It says that it has a 21 day trial, is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions and costs $29.95 (presumably US dollars).  There is a "lite" version that is free for non-commercial
    use ... all of this info is just repeated from their web pages, I have no connection to the company and only know what I read ... I haven't tried it.
    It's worth noting that life isn't perfect with pdfshell.dll and 32-bit Windows XP either, depending on your PDF files.  Some documents don't have Titles (depending, partly, on what software produced them).  Some have Titles long enough that they
    won't display in an Explorer column (though they show up truncated on the status line and un-truncated in a tooltip).  I have a file called "GEARaspi Security Information.pdf" (http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/GEARAspi%20Security%20Information.pdf)
    that has no Title, created by OpenOffice.org 2.4 according to its PDF tab.  I have another called "319124.pdf" (http://www.intel.com/assets/pdf/whitepaper/319124.pdf) which has the rather wordy title "Intel®  Extreme Memory Profile
    (Intel® XMP) supporting Intel® X48 Express Chipset with DDR3 White Paper".  Despite having a Title, no Title is displayed in a Title column in Windows Explorer in 32-bit Windows XP, though a truncated version appears in the status bar and
    the tooltip gets the whole thing, wrapping to two lines to do it.  Intel's file was produced with Acrobat PDFMaker 7.0 for Word according to its PDF tab.
    This post is based on what I could figure out, I hope it's helpful (if discouraging ... you won't fix this with a registry hack).

  • Stopping image linking to detailed view

    I have created a web app to manage a large number of adverts on a clients site. I have a simple app with a few fields that include an image and the url to go to when the user clicks on the image.
    The idea was to use the list view to have something like this:  <a href="{tag_url">{tag_image}</a>
    ..but BC seems to overwrite this and links to the detailed view instead.
    How do I get around this?
    Dave.

    You do not need to do that Dave
    Custom image field has two options to the tag
    {tag_yourimage_nolink} will stop the link rendering and {tag_yourimage_value} will render the url of the value so you can use that to wrap in your own image attribute.

    Can the decimal places in the PO( ME21N) creation be increased more than 3 decimal places in quantity and price?
    I did changes in UOM's in CUNI, I increased the decimal places upto 14 but still it does not take more than three i-e., 0.001 maximum.
    Is there any other way to handle this?

    hi
    In case if you are already working in production remember that decimal places should not change. It will affect all previous data.
    For your problem best solution is make order unit as 1000. So that your problem will solve
    e.g. instead of 2.009 inr for 1 Unit use 2009 inr for 1000 unit.
