Price coming in FD order type also

Dear All,
I am trying to create a Free of charge Order - FD (in doc type doc pricing procedure is - C) and the Item category is also coming as KLN (where pricing is blank i;e No pricing).
But when i am creating this FD order system is determining the price also(which is coming for normal sales order).
Can you please let me know what is going wrong that price is coming in this order also.
Thanks,
Vimlesh

As we all aware pricing procedure gets determined based on Sales Area + Doc Pric Proc + Customer Pricing procedure
As you said , the document pricing procedure for your document is C (possibely other sales document might have the same doc pri. proc) and in copy control VTFA, for your combination, at item level for item category KLN, you might have Maintained Pricing Type as B Carry out new pricing
Second check, for the item category KLN (VOV7) by mistake have u maintained Billing Relevance or not

  • Customer Purchase Order type.

    Hello gurus
Can any one give me details about the configuration aspect of customer Purchase order type in Sales order.
Just FYI this is a field  at Item level in SALES order.
    Thanks

    Hi,
In this menu option you define the possible order types which indicate how the customer has transmitted an order.
When processing a sales document, you specify the order type for the purchase order data at header level. This specification is copied into the items.
At the line items you can enter the purchase order type also but then it is better to give it at the header level. If there are suppose 20 items in a sales order giving the purchase order type at the header level is easier and is applicable for all 20 line items.
For the configuration of the purchase order type:
    IMG-Sales & Distribution-Sales -Sales Documents-Sales document header-Define purchase order types.
Here you can create your own purchase order type also.
    Reward points if solution helps.

  • Preventing update to COPA tables for a particular Sales order type

    Hi ,
We need to have incoming sales order transfer to COPA activated only for one particular sales order type activated.
Earlier we implemented note 571697  for user exit to allow COPA update only for particular sales order type.
This prevented the transfer of SO to actuals table, but off late the performance for VA01 and VA02 has decreased substantially.
Upon checking, we found this is happening because of other CE4XXXX tables (excluding CE1XXXX) which are getting updated during creation/ change of SO. as the data in these tables is huge .
If possible, please advise, right userexit to prevent update to these tables.
    Thanks.
    Neeraj

Thanks for your inputs..I have few more queries on same.
Initially we had incoming sales order activated in KEKF allong with implemented SAP note 571697, which helped us to update CE1XXXX only for a particular sales order type. This was initial requirement to have system updating COPA values only for one particular sales order type. Also, KEQ3 was also activated which resulted in updates to CE4XXXX. This was not a problem initially since we had few sales orders now that plant has grown old with more sales order (resulting in huge size of CE4XXXX) VA01 is impacted..
Currently ,since we have KEQ3 activated so, Segment is created the moment we create sales order.. and table CE4XXXX is updated..
As most of you have suggested to switch off sales order in KEQ3, i need to analyze the impact of this..
From what i understand CE1XXXX will continue with updation for that order type... and CE4XXXX won't be updated in future..Please correct me if i am wrong..
Also, please advise what all can be possible impacts on COPA reporting if I switch off from now onwards (client has been using this since long) , and what all should be the precautions that i should take while doing this.
    Thanks

  • Change Purchase Order type ,price before auto creation of PO through MIGO?

    Hi ,
I have reuirement  infront of me.
We are creating return Purchase order through MIGO for Non-ordered items.
Purchase Order is created automatically by SAP.
I need to change its Purchase Order type  , Net Price , Order Price Unit .
Is it possible to modify the content before the creation of this PO.
    Please help me .
    Regards,
    Amit

We are not using BPA ; is there any solution involving ASL and/or Sourcing Rule which can be used to meet the User requirement. There certainly is. It involves using either Blanket Purchase Aggreement (which you don't have) or using Quotes.
Once you have created either of those, simply create an ASL entry for the item(s), attach the Quote or BPA to the ASL entry; create a sourcing rule.
Once these setups are done, when a requisition is created and approved, it will get converted into a PO automatically.
And depending upon the value you enter in the "Release method" field on the ASL screen (and your PO workflow attributes), the PO will be created in incomplete status or it can be automatically submitted for approval.
    Hope this answers your question,

  • Condition type not coming in sales order

    Hi,
we have a condition type Z026. The issue is that  it is not set in the order but the condition records exists. The pricing analysis shows that condition reocrd is missing but the fact is the condition record is there. The acess seq is Z026 and there are many tables in the acess sequence.
The first table in the access seq is 906 and the condition record exists but still the system says that the condition record is not found using  cond preliminary step (header fields like customer/sales org/div). the cond record is maintained for  relevant sales org/dist channel/customer/material. cond preliminary step means that system first looks for the header fields but everything is there.
The condition is active and the conditon is created on 21.7.10 with validitity from 21.7.10 to 31.1.2010 and the pricing date in sales order is 27.7.10. so everyhting is fine but yet the condition is not coming in sales order
    what could be the issue.
    regds

    Hi,
Now try creating a sales order with 20.07.2010 as the pricing date. It will work. Create another order with 21.07.2010 and it will not work. If so, it is due to the validity date. When you give 21.07.2010 as validity date and there is already another record which was valid on that date, the gap of one day can happen and we have experienced this. There is even an OSS note explaining this concept, which makes sense business-wise.
However you check the scenarios I have mentioned. If the behaviour is as I have mentioned, then you have to change the pricing date of your problamatic sales order to one day earlier, or move the validity date one day earlier.
If the behaviour is different, pls lemme know

  • Price in the purchae order.

    Hi Friends,
I want to know how price in the purchase order is coming per 2000 pieces.
Info records is having price per 1 piece.
If I click on condition records under tab conditions then also I am getting price for condition type PB00 as per piece.
How can I know from where this per 2000 units is coming.

Generally the reference comes from Agreement / Info record / Last PO.
If you are using info record, then check info record.
If you are creating PO from an agreement, then check agreement.
And also may be its coming from last PO number.
Check ME2N, for last purchase order for the same material and vendor.. Check the old purchase order.

  • Free goods and order types

    Hello,
    1) If company is providing free goods, then will it be associated for order type or with pricing condition.
for e.g. On purchase of 100 qty. if 10% foods are free, then how is this associated.
    2) Also if i want to provide free goods only for a particular customer group, lets say wholesale, then how will it be associated
with pricing conditions and order type.
    Regards

    Hi,
    There are two cases:-
1.Ur company is providing free goods as a sample.
2.If some customer buys some quantity of product u provide some free goods with it.
    1st Case:-
if u want goods to b send as a free sample then u can directly use TANN item category with doc type or .
    2nd Case :
Free goods is something that the customer is given after he buys certain quantity of the product/material.
Free goods is a strategy to increase sales volume by luring the customer that if he buys 10 products one will be absolutely free.
Free Goods:Goods that are given as additional goods as part of the ordered goods are called as free goods. Here the unit of measure of free goods should be the same as standard goods.
Example:If you are are ordering 10 maggi sauce bottle you will be paying for only 8 bottles 2 is given as freegoods.
price will not be reflected in pricing or billing.this is inclusive freegoods
    Exclusive freegoods.
wherein the freegoods are given as additional good to that of the ordered goods
Example:For 4 coffee vending machine 1 kg coffee powder isgive as free goods
Sample goods:these are the goods which are given as pert of the promotional activity to increase the sales.
here the customer is not paying money.
Free goods - In SAP there are two types Exclusive and Inclusive.
Exclusive - Buy 2 and get 1 free. This means you have to buy minimum 2 pieces then on that you will get 1 piece absolutely free.
Inclusive - Buy 2 get 1 free. In this case it means you are paying for only 1 item and the other item is absolutely free.
    Configuration:
IMG - Sales & Distribution - Basic Functions - Free Goods - condition technique for free goods -
    1. create the condition table(Take one field as customer group also if u want to provide free goods only for a particular customer group).
    2. maintain access sequence and assign the condition table to the access sequence.
    3. maintain condition type and assign the access sequence to the condition type.
    4. maintain the procedure for free goods and assign the condition type to the free goods procedure.
    5. Activate free goods determination. In this enter sales org., dis channel, division , docu pri pro, cust pri pro and the free goods procedure.
    6. now go to VBN1 - create free goods determination. Select your condition type, key combination and enter. Here you enter sales org, dis channel, customer no., Valid from and Valid to dates. Then you first select whether it is exclusive or inclusive free goods determination. By default it will be inclusive if you click on exclusive it will become exclusive and on top it will display inclusive. Here you enter minimum quantity for free goods and from what order quantity the number of free goods. You can control the delivery also in the second last column(free goods delivery control).
Save the record. Go to VA01 create the sales order , enter the item and the minimum quantity for free goods .
    Thanks & Regards,

  • How to avoid user from entering new price condition in return order

    Dear Expert
We are facing a scenario where we make return order; the Price is copied from the invoice. And it is working perfectly. The system does not allow us to change the price.
The issue we are facing here is that user can input new condition like discount /premium and change the net value for the return order pricing, and this will reflect in the credit note for returns.
Is there a way to restrict the user from entering any pricing condition in the header or item conditions tab.
although we cannot change the original price coming from invoice referenced for return order, but the user can input new price conditions as below. This must not be allowed.
The price must come according to the Qty being referenced.
While making the credit for returns, the user has a chance of further making changes to the net value by adding new conditions. Hence this must also be restricted for any changes.
    Thanks

okie .... i will tell briefly what is the problem ....
Take a scenario wherein a user has logged into my application and he is performing a task which will put his user id and his employee id into the session. Then he opens another window by using either ctrl+n or through files->new window.
So now a new browser will open but the session will be same ..... in this newly opened browser, user performs some operation which will remove the user id and employee id from the session .... Now if he again comes back to the first window and tries to do some operation, then a null pointer exception will be thrown saying that the employee id is null .... because he has deleted that in the newly created browser ..... to avoid this situation what can we do ???? can you please help me in this regard ??? you got my problem right !!!

  • Fetching the price of the purchase order and charge it in my SO

    Dear, gurus
I am doing services mto and even Repair services of customers machinery. I would like to fetch the price incase of purchase order and charge the customer for that purchase in my Sales Order. Is there a way to automatically fetch the price? Or how can I cover this scenario?
Ex: I receive customers machine and in my plant or workshop I do not have the tool needed or a specialist so I hire someone for the job so I buy or rent it or him from a vendor and in return I want to charge my customer for that purchase.
    Any Ideas?
P.S. this is not a 3rd party sale scenario its just a simple Sales Order. I was able to fetch the price from the production order with condition type EK02. Is there any condition type for purchase order price fetching?
    Thanks

    Amitesh
How did the outcome come out as? meaning did that user exit price fetch appear in a condition type in the billing document? If so which one?
Also, where is the relationship or linkage made from PO to SO? Like how in the world would your sales order know that a purchase order was done. I mean it really is a weird process I mean first the SO should be created then that should trigger the PR and that gets converted to a PO as rightly stated in book terminology. But in this case of first a regular sales order, then out of sap we give our requirement to mm purchasing dept and tell them we need such and such. Once they buy it there is a price which in return we need to charge our customer. Everything can be done manually.
From my own logic of looking at what you described in the user exit. I presume that from abap side they will only pull a table and field data and populate it where I want it?
In the PR there is a place where you can assign acct cat C to the sales order and item line what exactly is this for? GL acct are assigned for which purpose or What is it doing? Also, the purpose of that cost center?

  • Bottom/base price check in Sales order processing

    Hi
In my company we are using process Sales Order > DO > Billing. Same pricing procedure for sales document types and billing types. No pricing procedure for DO. Our management wants to implement bottom price check in sales order processing e.g there must be one sale price on which sale invoice will be booked and there must also be one static price maintained and system will check after all taxes and discounts calculation that net value should not be less then bottom price.
Currently we are using user exit in enhancement MV45AFZZ. Our ABAPER has written logic in this of following scenario. We have maintained commercial price in ZCOM condition type and bottom price in ZBAS condition type. Lets take and example
    ZCOM = Sale price= 500
    ZDIS = Discount = 100
    Net value/Amount for credit check 500-100 = 400
    ZBAS Bottom price = 450
In above scenario system should not allow to save sale order/billing document and give error "Sale price is below bottom price" Then user will change the discount from 100 to 50 and Net value will be then 450 and system will allow to save sale order/billing document.
I want to to do this in Pricing procedure pricing routines. Please tell me is it possible with calculation types? Im wondering if we can do this in enhancement then we must write the same logic in VOFM pricing routine and we can control this from there too. In our current ABAP check everything is working fine but I just want to minimize the use of ABAP checks and enhancements and control the things from functional side not from ABAP.
Please let me know if someone need more clarification or someone have any productive suggestions in this regard. If there is any other solution it will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Similar functionality is already there, where if the net price of an item differs from "Customer expected price" (conditions EDI1/EDI2) then SAP automatically pushes the order into incompletion. You can ask the developer to see how EDI1 is used in the pricing logic.
However, the condition EDI1 is used to check if the item value is different to Customer expected price in case of EDI orders and is not standard for your requirement. But you get my drift, that you can have your own condition in the pricing procedure that will fetch the base price value and can be used in the logic to show an error message (to stop order processing) or push into incompletion log similar to condition EDI1

  • Base price calculation in sales order using Routines.

    Dear all,
I have a requirement related to usage of routine in pricing procedure. The requirement is as given below.
A base price for a material is entered in the contract manually using a customized condition record.Later a sales order will be raised with reference to contract. now we need to bring the price entered in the contract to sales order after some calculations done using a customized "Z TABLE"
We are trying to use routines to trigger to calculate the base price in the sales order.
Please suggest what type of routine to be used in such cases(ex formula, pricing etc)
Also please go through the below mentioned example for better understanding.
Contract price : Quantity 3: base price 10,000 per day Total : 30,000 perday
ZTABLE : number of days per month will be maintained in the table based on the working days.
Sale Order : Quantity 1 : Month working days 23 total 2,30,000 (We need to calculate this total and display as base price in sales order)
Please suggest how to address this using routines.

    Dear Mudigonda,
As per your scenario you are creating sales order with reference to the contract and here in contract you are maintaining the manual price . that means the same manual price has to copy to sales order level then as per the calculation rule it will multiply with your Z table value .
For this requirement you can make some changes in copy control from contract to sales order, here at item category level you have to change pricing type to 'B' so that what ever your manual price value will populate to sales order level after that due to calculation rule value will change .

    C.B Reddy.

  • Update prices in ME21N (purchase order)

    Hi,
We need to re-calculate prices automatically when creating or modifying a purchase order taking into account changes in some pricing fields of the order.
User has the standard option of updating the prices in 'condition' tab selecting the option he needs but what we need is to do this automatically if user changes some fields in the order.
Does anybody know if we have the same functionality as we have in SD in exit 'FORM userexit_new_pricing_vbap/vbkd' with the function 'new_pricing' in MM or how can we solve this issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Best regards,
    Silvia,

    Hi Silvia,
Check the BADI that I suggest you. Read the documentation on line that I copy:
Determine Pricing Type in Case of Changes in EKKO, EKPO
    Functionality
The method DEFINE_CALCTYPE enables you to stipulate whether the system is to trigger a new price determination process. You can also specify the type of price determination (pricing).
    Result
The method outputs the pricing type, which controls the price determination process.
    Parameters
    IM_X_OEKKO: Header data, old status
    IM_X_NEKKO: Header data, new status
    IM_X_OEKPO: Item data, old status
    IM_X_NEKPO: Item data, new status
IM_X_OBEKPO: Transfer structure BEKPO (EKPO with further fields), old status
IM_X_NBEKPO: Transfer structure BEKPO, new status
CH_X_LF_CALCTYPE: Output of pricing type determined via BAdI ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE.
    Notes
The method DEFINE_CALCTYPE is intended exclusively for changing the variables CH_X_LF_CALCTYPE. Do not make any database changes in the method. No COMMIT WORK statements may be executed within this method.
Ensure that your code supplements the standard code controlling the price determination process but does not disable it.
    Documentation for Business Add-In ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE.
As you can see, you can control the modifications on EKPO.

    Eduardo

  • Manual price change on Sales Order line

    Hi everyone,
Say I have a product A and have entered this in the price list Product A = USD 100 per unit.
I create the order and process the order, do ship confirm, but at the time of creating the invoice, I want to change the price to 97. or 95 or whatever. This is not fixed and depends probably on various business factors not in anyone's control.
I tried to manually change the price on the sales order line, but it is not allowing me to change, saying 'no manual discounts available'. My questions are :
    1. How can I manually change the price of a product at the time of invoicing?
    2. I have not defined any modifiers or qualifiers. Is this required, and if yes, what type and how to do it.
    3. At what level can the price be changed? at order booking or even after ship confirm?
    4. If I change the price today, this price change will be applicable to what orders? All orders with booked statuses, or all orders which are not yet ship confirmed, or all orders not interfaced or all future orders entered after this price change is saved?
    5. Do I need to make this price change in the price list also?
    Pls reply asap.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Sudhindra Desai

    Hi Sudhindra,
    Check out if this helps:
    1. How can I manually change the price of a product at the time of invoicing?
You cannot change the price once invoicing is done or when the Order Line Status becomes 'Closed' . Any change at the order entry level can only be effected till the Order Line Status is in 'Entered' Stage.
    2. I have not defined any modifiers or qualifiers. Is this required, and if yes, what type and how to do it.
We have defined a modifier for our business purpose where by we can manually change the Price at the order entry level. If you require I can send you the screen shots of the setups we have done. I would need your e-mail id for that.
    3. At what level can the price be changed? at order booking or even after ship confirm?
Price can be changed till the order is in 'Entered Stage'. It cannot be changed once it is 'Booked'
    4. If I change the price today, this price change will be applicable to what orders? All orders with booked statuses, or all orders which are not yet ship confirmed, or all orders not interfaced or all future orders entered after this price change is saved?
I did'nt understand this question actually. I think the price change is done on an order to order basis, if it is done for a particular order I don't think so it would affect further orders. If i'm changing the price in my price list then surely it would affect future orders.
    5. Do I need to make this price change in the price list also?
This depends on ur business situation. If the price change is permanent u can make the changes in the price list also. Our business situation demands a base price to be defined in the price list even though the price we enter at the order entry level is always different from what comes from the attached price list.
    Hope this helps you.
